"While it is a bit of dramatic flair, I don't quite mind the fact that the police are being used to exert control. Is pretty much how I've always viewed them anyway."
*After all, all the police he knew were always after that. They'd extol that it was for justice or to maintain order, which meant they were in charge of controlling justice and order. At least this duo was more meant to directly state it in the name rather than pawn it off as something else like the Knights of Radiance or, unless they assumed the name would point them in a good light, the Crusading Shield. That or they had a gross misinterpretation of how the crusades really went. Speaking of the individual parts of the group isolating themselves, he was responding to that now as well. How in the world had they gotten into so much in such a short time? Well, if things had gone according to what he asked, Warrior and Hollow should have been taken care of. Merrill and Joker were together, which meant they must have been separated as well. Joker had left that out in a sense in his various correspondences recently, but thanks to that he had to make numerous assumptions with missing information and had to just act with the worst in mind. ...To this day this still happened to be his general task when in a group, huh? Well, not that he minded he supposed.*
"I suppose I did sign up for this."
*The ride told them the battleground they would be in for this time. Fighting underwater was going to be a fun time, but not something that should ultimately deter the trio here. He actually liked that Bit and Byte were completely for a full-frontal assault, because that was often his preferred way too as his began flexing his fingers.*
"The battle plan this time lines up with just that sort of approach. It should have a solid bit of movement underwater since it's a sea-based predator, but any time it tries to assail one of us, the other two will strike the gaps created and down it."
*From the look of it since none of them were slow, it would make for an ideal approach as each could fend for themselves. The only thing they would need to concern themselves with was being the focus of its ability. It likely would target the same person it was focusing on at the time, but if they struck it hard and fast, carefully to make sure they didn't outright destroy it given their objective, then all was well.*

Bit keeps his eyes focused on the distance, still ready to act on Xion's plan, but one bit of what he says causes the yellow-armored Navi to take a step forward and look back to Byte, both nodding silently before making their own preparations. Bit reaches a hand forward and forms a ring of yellow light, roughly three feet in diameter, that now hovers just above his palm as it spins in place.
Bit: If the expectation is that its movement will be a problem, then you've lucked out with your company.
Byte takes a step forward as well, transforming his free hand into a buster and holding it ready.
Byte: We both specialize in movement restriction techniques. And if what you've said holds true, then this creature will only be able to deal with one of us at a time. I'll offer a recommendation; I am aware of your power-output capabilities, so the best course of action might be to allow this monster to focus on Bit and I, as we can trade its attention back and forth and use our various skills to make it easier to take down, while you commit to the surgical blows needed to secure a win.
Bit nods, never losing sight of the direction in which his target looms as he stands with a ring in one hand and his saber lit in his other.
Bit: I can agree to this plan, but the Nightmare Police are at your disposal, Xion. Give us the word and we'll act.

To: Xion From: Subject: Preparing for the Future
As the Underking, you not only have authority, you have power. But that power is weakened when you're not in the Undernet, so bringing a piece of your realm with you when you leave may be advantageous in the future.

*It made a lot of sense why this would be both their debut battle with the Net. Their expertise made this a perfect encounter for them when the goal was putting a fish inside of a fish tank. This house arrest might be a bit rough, but it ultimately was in their best interest as his eyes let off a low glow in anticipation.*
"And the lack of light makes the darkness my battlefield. That's settled then: you two move out and act at your discretion and I'll put it down in one critical strike."
*That was when he got a message. One that had no sender at that. It was what many would call an ominous omen to say the least, but it made sense for it to arrive now. Remaining anonymous was well and good, even if he would rather know all the relevant parties. He wasn't nearly as picky about those details as everyone else. He had the idea and the means to see that done, something that had come up already with his talks with the Local. It wasn't something that he could put off for very long either. Lost that luxury a while ago now as it so happened. He would have to see to that when he returned and managed to sort out things with everyone else so they would be fine when he was absent when they inevitably split up, beginning with slinking into the shadows as he started to invoke an age-old tactic that he hadn't had to employ in battle with that much frequency.*
"Let's put this fish under arrest. The aquarium is waiting for it."

What they would see was much larger than any of them, akin to a very large shark of some sorts if there was an aquatic comparison just as was told. It was robotic in nature and seemed to blend in due to the lack of light to otherwise expose it, as it blended into its surroundings that were here. Clearly an aquatic being that adapted to its surroundings, it was beginning to pick up speed as it moved through the water as an ominous blue glow came from its eyes for a moment as the glow faded, its sides opening as several torpedoes were fired and started making their way toward them. An opening started to open on its back as well, but nothing had come of that just yet as well.

Bit shifts his weight to his back foot as the water beast locks target and begins to move towards its targets, the chakram in his palm now glowing brighter and spinning faster than before.
Bit: Understood, I've got point.
Without missing a beat, Bit brings his hand down and tosses the chakram forward, then reels back his hand before tossing a second. The energy-weapons would fly forward in a relatively slow-paced, intersecting pattern towards the fish. With each flying at a different elevation and trajectory, it would be hard to evade these attacks, and a single strike would not only cause a shocking electrical current, but also a binding effect to wrap around the target. Then, from behind these two thrown weapons, Bit takes a flying leap into the expanse of water, levels himself off, and performs a flying dash towards the fish, yet not quite aiming for it head-on. Rather, Bit aims himself slightly to the side, takes his saber and cuts along his path, attempting to slice into his target as he passes and turns, ready for the counter.
Byte, meanwhile, predicts the motion of the monster before him and raises his buster. He fires a single mine that flies through the water and self-attaches to the floor beneath the giant fish, generating a powerful gravitational force that would likely cut the monster's speed in half while trying to break free. He then takes several steps forward, positioning himself in such a way that he's prepared to take evasive measures if he turns out to be the target, or jump in for Bit should the need arise.

The single mine from Byte had disrupted both its movement and the weaponry fired, causing their trajectory to be off and prematurely detonating before they reached their desired targets. Its own slowed movement caused it to likewise miss its mark when Bit had passed by, slicing through it as he made a clean pass. It would keep forward then, showing that its target was in fact the larger of the two in Byte as it fired something from its back then. It had been some kind of bomb that was shot toward Byte, exploding in the middle between the shark and the Nightmare Officer as it let out a sonic pulse with the intent to immobilize him long enough for it to complete its acceleration to try and take him into its jaws and crush him, mouth opening to unveil such intent as boosters activated from the fins at its side to increase its momentum to better achieve its intended goal.

*The battle was starting then. There was something that was bothering him about these beings on top of their variety of abilities. Their fully mechanical nature and foreign nature was one thing, but it was something he was more keenly aware of due to his wealth of knowledge in the other subject. The other one that he fought certainly showed the references to Falzar without any issue, and yet compatibility between it and Navi weren't very good. ...This would be a good chance to discern one final glaring issue, namely how were these things repaired when taken apart? It couldn't have been the standard methods that they used for themselves, and yet he couldn't imagine the weapons were entirely throwaway and draw a new one unless they were that easily manufactured by the opposing side. Setting these thoughts aside while holding his ground for now, he started to build up power while also concocting the attack that would strike it. Taking note of which areas were most likely to lay it low that weren't its head, as well as the effect that the two had on it already.*

Byte narrows his eyes as he sees the great beast's target and flips his buster up again, firing off another mine that connects to a nearby wall behind the monster to pull on it even harder. He then reels back a fist and prepares to lash out, but Xion's explanations put a stop to him. Better to stick with the plan for the time being.
Fortunately, Byte wouldn't have to wait long. As soon as he realizes that he's not the target, Bit makes land-fall, doubles back, and performs another high-speed slash along the side of his target. Taking full advantage of Byte's Gravity Wells, he manages to out-speed the fish, kick off and get between it and Byte, and toss another pair of paralyzing rings. Now in place, Bit gives Byte the chance to escape by summoning a huge tower shield that he holds in front of himself and uses for another dash, this time attempting to slam himself into the head of his target using the shield as a battering ram.
With Bit between he and the piscine threat, Byte takes the chance to dodge to the side and get away from the monster's line-of-sight, watching carefully to see if it changes targets after Bit's assault.

It was being slowed a bit more by the next mine, but it was having less of an effect on it than it initially had, showing the results of the explanations Xion offered them before the battle. But the unintended interaction of Bit being able to still take advantage of this let him out-speed it, cutting another line through it before the pair of rings would strike it, also causing it to slow for a time. The boosters would be used to force its momentum forward yet, though the next dash with the tower shield would at last stop its relentless charge to give Byte the time to get out of the way as it was slowed enough by Bit to no longer make it a viable target. But as surmised, the eyes glowed again briefly before the light ceased again. The fins would turn, the boosters changing its trajectory as it would turn to aim to strike at Bit with its tail next as mines dropped out from the open hatches, exploding all around it. After the initial explosions, frozen spikeballs would be left in the water, homing in on Bit to make their way toward him in a ring formation. And just as Xion suspected, something else was amiss as well. From the shadows he lurked in, he could begin to feel other movements, hidden due to the massive motions taken by the larger creature. It wasn't the only thing that was here, but it was distinctly clear that the others weren't aiming to engage as well.

There it was. With his shield out and ready, Bit is kicked aside by the piscine threat's tail, knocking into one of the mines that explode on his back. With a gasp, the yellow-armored Navi forces himself back into the fight. Seeing the coming onslaught, he forces himself to his feet and plants his shield into the ground, bracing for what would come next.
Bold and forward, Byte sees the change of pace and reacts as quickly as his larger frame will allow. Jumping back into the fray, he drops in front of Bit's tower shield like a ton of bricks, sets his feet, and winds up his arm. Putting tremendous torque into his shoulder, Bit swings his entire arm around like a propeller, generating a vortex around himself that disrupts the trajectory of the remaining mines and spiked iceballs and sucks them in. Then, with a mighty dash, the stoic Navi cuts through the water like a torpedo, rushing forward and slamming a fist into the monster with an earth-shattering crack as the rush of water from his movement causes the fish's assault to be sucked back to its origin, peppering the monster in its own blows.

*There was other movement in the water? He would take its offensive paradigm in mind while he continued the charge, only a bit longer before that would be complete. But the others that were here from what he could feel from the darkness and shadows were staying away from the fighting. They were support units instead of additional offense. Were they not supposed to be supporting during the battle? Or were they already providing support from the distance? If the latter, dealing with them would be beneficial for them. If the former, it meant that their function was related to whatever it would do over the course of battle, or more likely what would be done when it started to lose control of the battle. With both options considered, he would be able to cover without any issue, as he called forth the spare body that would go out to investigate from the shadows to get to the bottom of this at the same time.*

Another sudden inclusion to its desired results, it was sent flying from the strength of the punch with its own assault being sent back to it. It hadn't changed targets just yet despite the setback, instead opening its maw as the duo would be able to see a white light begin to build. It was a light that felt familiar to both at that, taking time to build up instead of being able to be fired immediately like its array of weaponry from before. The white light continued to build until it was sent screeching forward, cutting through the air between them with a violent force with the intent to erase them if they were caught within the blast.
While this blinding light was cast through the darkness, it shed light on the small black figures that littered the space. They had shone a different color off and on. Yellow, gray, and blue. The light had only been brief, only happening as each attack had hit the large amphibian that they were battling at this moment. It had to have a correlation of some kind, but to what end was difficult to discern on a surface level as opposed to the destructive assault unleashed.

Seeing the charging attack and the lack of a target, change, Byte kicks off and leaps away from Bit, leaving the golden Navi alone to shoulder the onslaught.
Reacting to Byte's move, Bit pulls his shield forward and presses his shoulder against the back, hiding behind the overlap of the defensive measure's extended edges as he begins to charge forward, never deviating from the obviously oncoming attack's expected trajectory.
And this is when Byte makes his next move. Now to the side of the great piscine creature, this hulking Navi mirrors Bit's move, rushing forward with his shoulder to tackle the monster and hopefully pressing its attack off-target. During this attack, he launches another gravity mine that attaches itself to the head of the great fish. With this setup in place, Byte launches himself into the free water with a tremendous leap, then falls with his arms outstretched, allowing the gravity of his mine to carry his body into a huge, multi-ton body slam directly onto the opened upper jaw of the creature with a tremendous slam.
At the moment that Byte tackles the monster, Bit spins around and tosses the huge, bronze tower shield at the fish and launches himself in the opposite direction of Byte's momentum, bringing his hands out and tossing a number of tracking fireballs to add even more damage to the onslaught as he does so.

*It didn't adjust targets this time as it would keep its focus on the same one. Was that to discern that Bit was the more problematic of the two for it? Or that it would let Byte make the first move and adjust as he planned to attack, something Bit would cover for? Either course was fine, but the plan of attack it started to prepare was one that he was quite well acquainted with now. And one that the shark otherwise wouldn't be firing with such leisure as well as far as he was concerned when it came to drawing resemblances.*
"The same light that 'Falzar' used on me, is that it?"
*That blinding light blast. It was simple what to actually equate that attack to. It belonged neither to a bird or a fish, but a beast that had gone unseen for a long while now. One that he had been a part of the group that simply left it locked up and quarantined in the Bug City that they owned as The Chaotic. As a result, he was well aware what it truly was, and the world that vanished as a result of it. The other revelation to take note of was the flashing color and the sequence of which they occurred. Yellow, then gray, then blue. Bit, Byte, and itself. That was the sequence then of which the attacks had landed on the machine or otherwise made contact with it. He had an inkling what that was about, but that would be revealed shortly as the assault began again. If his assumption was correct, he could land this attack precisely as required, purple lightning coursing his arm. This would begin to spiral like a drill and twister alike, before the water began to surge about it and create a whirlpool that would become the spiraling drill launched out to strike at the precise spot with all the power gathered for this moment. The target in question would be in the throat area, planning on separating a solid portion of the head unit from the torso to otherwise disable it immediately with a swift surge of power that was even outputted faster than the standard.*
