*He would admit that he had done one of his very rare lies here, in that he wasn't going to actually need time at all for this. It was ready once he started and then with what he would soon gain after, it was going to be absolutely ready for this. But before all of that was what had changed from the Undernet's tiles, proof that things weren't at all as they seemed in the Undernet. Honestly... that pair of volatile kings sure did keep things to themselves, didn't they? Forte and Serenade both. It wasn't as if Serenade had the time to let him know but he had enough knowledge to know that this belonged to something that had been in the Undernet a long time ago. Centuries at work even before he was around to be a pain, huh?*
"I go through all the trouble to leave them alone like I was asked and then you still are up in my business. Cut me some slack, AirMan."
*Even when they had that mission to take down Pluto and Neptune, he merely managed to have them feign ineptitude in finding the moving pieces in order to not do the job rather than turn down the offer outright. Now while the others would focus on the battle at hand, but he would avert his focus from that battle. Many would assume he would not do so in the face of all that Sirius was, that he wouldn't dare to do such a thing in the face of the emperor. And yet he did so without hesitation or a second thought to spare. He was looking to the panels now, seeing what he could learn of them and what was using them now aside from the obvious source with all of his options as quickly as possible. Because he would be remiss to not attempt to do so when it was obvious that this would dwell in all of the Undernet rather than just some lucky piece that Sirius happened to take in due to his hubris.*

Sirius' power reigned supreme. Across an incalculable number of planets, stars, solar systems, and even galaxies themselves, never had he been unseated. Never had his lack of full control of his capabilities become his downfall. He was aware of his weakness; but was often too amused with everything to care of it.
Never, however, would he have foreseen the use of that broken deity's tools to become his downfall. It was a curious thought, to make use of something so beneath him, and have it be his undoing. He even had suspected that the warnings he received about Gate would arise; he was prepared to deal with an invasion on his server. He was prepared to deal with these interlopers. He even considered needing to deal with the two problems at the same time; he was more than strong enough to handle that.
He could not have predicted this outcome, though. As his server was wrested from him, Sirius was not at first concerned. As the power emanated from Grom, however, he did stare as his potent defenses, as his incredible might, as even his majestic prominence, all faded away. Still present. But his very nature reattuned, even by the so-called briars unleashed through his black hole, that would separate him inevitably from his own dominion.
Sirius' smile grew. There was much that he was capable of - and there was much that he had lost, here. But . . . of the ways to go, pit against such a thing, with the knowledge of what was to come, next . . . that was worth smiling for.
He cackled and laughed, as the first wave of desolation ripped through his defenses and tore asunder his prominence. Holding out his hands, Sirius brought in all the power that remained; if it would not defend him, he would at least be deleted with his power within him. As Merrill redirected the powerful prominences he unleashed, they only seemed to make Sirius' prominence grow, his hands stretched out wide. Motes of light raced past, a rushing wind that carried with it incredible power, as he manifested it into his core, and pulled that strength into his hands.
Another terrible strike and Sirius' wings were blown apart, obliterated entirely. His prominence faltered, the very wave roads shaking and quivering as blow after blow from his assailants crashed into him; and yet, it seemed as though his prominence was still growing. The light shining from his chest was blinding, and, all at once, as the last blow was landed, the light faded entirely.
Sirius stood there, still floating, barely an inch away from the surface of his epicenter. Somehow, even with smoke rolling off of him, Sirius was laughing, still, a maniacal, mirthless cackle. ". . . I like this. There are . . . definitely ways to go," he coughs out, wave matter already flowing off of him.
Sirius' body shone violently, as the prominence within seemed to be reaching a critical point. "I do hope . . . you had a way planned to deal with my black hole, truly. It would be . . . unfortunate, for you to be this amusing and then to only be obliterated . . .
". . . but, grander things come, even grander than I, grander than even my black hole . . . you are all still just one step away from deletion." The light coming from Sirius began to break out, a horrific tear erupting from his shoulder that sent a stream of photons so powerful it sliced through the very air, cutting through the paths of the wave road. More hair-fine rips appeared over his skin . . .
. . . Sirius was going into a supernova collapse.
"Take your useless metal, then. A gift . . . I hope it allows you to accomplish all that you seek to do, and then I hope it leads to your demise all over again. See the curse of getting what you've asked for . . . gyahaha!" A golden light transferred from Sirius to Burai.
"As for my power . . . I will give all that I have amassed, the full force of my wavelength and even the particles I have absorbed . . . I will send it to another . . . I will send them to THAT System! Hahaha . . . so appropriate . . . a power with no need for emotions, given to one such as it . . . gyahahahah!
"Consider yourselves lucky . . . if I had nowhere to send this, it would have to collapse. You've amused me . . . so I've taken the last of my power to ensure your whole solar system isn't annihilated in my destruction.
I will see you all again . . . when the stars align!"
Whereas it looked like the light would, just as he warned, erupt from him entirely, it instead compressed back into his being. A tiny sliver of light, no larger than a golf ball, rose from Sirius' core. This incredible mass was immediately identifiable as a white dwarf - the coalesced mass of countless stars, compressed into an infinitely dense sphere. That powerful mass floated, masterfully, and zipped away, carried off to its intended recipient . . .
. . . and, then, Sirius collapsed. Inwardly. The remaining power within him erupts into a cascade of light, and the gravity within crushed him from the inside out, with nothing else to pull on but his being. Sirius was dragged into oblivion from the singularity that made him, as his wave mass completely dissipated into the void as he was simply undone.
. . .
. . .
. . .
It was over. The Earth was safe.

...and now, it passes on to another.
In the moments before Sirius can completely disappear, a red orb of energy rises from the broken ground above which he fought and encases him completely, absorbing the released energy and halting his destruction in the moments before deleting and sealing him in a stasis before dropping back to where it arose from, taking Sirius from the field with no remaining struggle or fight. Silence then takes over the battlefield, leaving the combatants in the aftermath of a near-apocalyptical scenario, but not leaving them to bask in their victory for long.
For now, you will know the truth.
The archaic network takes full form, spreading out like beams of light across the black hole network. The black sky turns shining white. And soon, the tell-tale "W" mark floods reality as far as the eye can see. The Black Hole server is now fully and totally under command of the WWW.
Gate: I will say; I am deeply impressed
Hands folded behind his back and with a relaxed, knowing smile on his face, Gate walks down one of the pathways that sprouted just beyond the battlefield, looking to the side as he slowly circles the group that just managed to defeat Sirius.
Gate: Your power and team work came together beautifully, and in the end you've prevailed. The earth is safe from the menace of Sirius, and now one question remains for you:
Gate finally stops, taking a firm stance before the group. Hands still folded, smile still played as one who just played the winning hand in a high-stakes card game.
Gate: What comes next?

*Given the red orb that showed up, he would have to just assume that just so happened to be the System that was left up ominously in the air. Even if he didn't care to listen to him prattle on, he imagined there was some truth to what he was saying. But more than that truth was the truth that just unveiled itself. Why he was focused on it instead of the remaining fighting like they had been and would keep everything that was discussed on the back-burner indefinitely. And when the current owner of the now archaic W would rear his head, it was too clear that he would do whatever they wanted with the server here. Xion would cross his arms in front of his chest, planning to take the initiative before the others would. And the others might have wanted to ask about that, but seeing as Gate asked them what was next, to him that much was obvious.*
"Next is telling you to get off my block. If you're taking what would have been ours anyway, get your fingers out of what's mine."

He would admit that he personally was banking on the truth behind Xion's words originally for dealing with the black hole. He had stated that he had a way to make certain it didn't go out of control, but once he saw the signs he knew that there was someone else who had equal confidence in it and also equally accomplished results to back that confidence. Still one step away from deletion, huh? ...That was largely true just because of their old lives. That hadn't changed with the new things that had been happening. No, they were this close to managing to change exactly that once they had all of the bad eggs sorted out. He was more worried about withstanding the upcoming supernova they had caused, but at least knew they should have the means to withstand the dying star. Until that was not necessary at all, at least until the stars aligned once more as Sirius put it.
"Now to see if we have to deal with him next."
The Earth was safe from this threat. And assuming the fool who caused that threat kept his word, that threat would remove itself before they would do to him what was now done to Sirius. If not, the next thing on their agenda was all too obvious in his eyes. And shortly following that was a word with that other one as well. But with the tell-tale "W" revealing itself in full, he could say that this was a meeting that he had been looking to have occur one day. But before he could even get a word in, the one who had been as quiet as Hollow spoke up.
"I...what?"
In a manner befitting of his station and in the presence of all that he could see here being under the total command of the WWW, Xion stood his ground and then some. And it was a statement that honestly surprised even him despite everything they had just gone through today. Truly, the things that happened as of late were a spectacle to behold.

Hollow.___
Hollow watched the theatrics as Sirius was slain, and then taken in. The threats fell on his ears and were heard, but he found himself uncaring of the implications. Another threat gone, another goal fulfilled, and a step closer to soon becoming without purpose, again.
It was as the new figure approached that Hollow was reminded of a robed figure in an old, dark ruin underneath Bayside. He had seen that infamous W mark, before. Back when he was seeking a purpose, looking for something to give him meaning, again.
He had been turned away, then, for reasons he did not understand. Now, even though he did not recognize this individual, he got a sense of the power he wielded. It was interesting, that Sirius noted the black hole had no emotions, and yet Hollow felt more kindred to it than Sirius was. Sirius was full of amusement, laughter, and interest . . . Hollow had only his knowledge, and wasn't even particularly interested in that. It was something he possessed.
As Xion made his statement and opinion of the newcomer very clear, Hollow couldn't help but look towards his progeny. Even now, that which he had taken part in creating was offering him a chance at life and opportunity in return for . . . what? Helping to give him life? Because they shared a wavelength? Why Xion was content with Hollow following him around, blindly assisting in his endeavor, and trying to make himself useful for someone else's task, Hollow did not understand. He had been doing so, on his own part, searching for a purpose; wondering if it would give him meaning, or a sense of anything, to at least help someone else's endeavors.
What did he want, however? Was he content to continue assisting Xion's dreams, purposes, and goals? He had none of his own; it gave him some semblance of life, he presumed, to at least chase after someone else's. Would he ever find what he was looking for, in the shadow of the Navi that he helped spawn? Especially given their own gap in power . . .
Introspective he may be, he had no good answers for the questions he asked himself. Those unchanging, yellow eyes turned to look at Gate, the fire burning in his cloak the only movement that denoted he was even still functioning.
. . . What next, indeed? He wasn't sure if it was the correct way, but he had made no real goals, accomplished no real feats, nor even had he been incredibly helpful in the endeavors of the team he had joined thus far. He had traveled with them, and attempted to understand and study them, but he understood no more of their emotions, nor their motivations, than he did when he started. Even if he could divine their uses or purposes, he could not generalize or understand them.
He was no more his own being than when he first took on Xion's face, back in Element City, looking to find purpose in Xion's own. It was . . . he didn't know what it was. What he did know, however, was that he hadn't found a purpose in either Xion's purpose, nor the purpose of even finding one. He wasn't committed to it.
Xion wasn't the type to give him what he felt . . . what he thought . . . he would need to be given to find a purpose. For him, he understood this, but also knew from his studies that Xion would not approve of this course of action. His own words made that clear. He needed to make decisions for himself, however. He had already made this case, before. Trial by error taught him a new way forward, if nothing else.
He answered Gate's question rather simply: As Xion spoke, and the threat hung in the air, Hollow moved forward. Even among the other EM Beings present, of which Hollow wasn't even aware he was one, Hollow radiated no semblance of presence. He was emptiness given form. He floated across the white, archaic network, making no movement save to move forward, his form making no motion to clear the distance. If Gate would permit him, he would float to just behind Gate, and about-face, turning to face the collection of individuals from Gate's side.
Joker.DB
Joker looked on as Sirius was taken in, and then, the very nature of the Server gave way to the signs he recognized from his time in the Galaxy Network. That large W appeared, and who came with it was someone Joker recognized.
He narrowed his gaze as the crimson shell surrounding him faded away, releasing the Dread Joker back to his non-combative state. Joker considered what came next, indeed, as this level of scheming and capability was very telling of what Gate would be able to do given the access to his information that Joker gave just earlier. Even with the small amount of access he gave to his data logs, it was apparent that Joker had a lapse of judgment trusting the scientist. There was absolutely no opportunity for any opposition with someone such as him in the future . . . meaning he would either need to learn to rely on some other tools to handle Gate . . .
. . . or he would have to return to his maker for some adjustments. The very thought was frustrating to him. Still, he looked as Xion made his stand, and decided to be just as bold. If Grom was to be surprised, then he would have to do so two fold. He was nothing if not cold and brutally efficient. "I've no interest in an additional set of hands dipping into what is mine, either. Stay your hand, and release what is ours. For all of us."
The Last Murian gladly accepted the golden glow passed on from Sirius, and then watched as the efforts of this reality's heroes went into fruition from there. As this other individual came into being, however, he was reminded of the warnings from the Cat-like Navi at the beginning of it all. The larger players on the field were finally here, then.
He knew enough of the scenario to be impressed with Xion and Joker's stand against this individual, especially considering he now controlled the Black Hole Server. Controlling the Black Hole Server itself was of no concern to Burai, anymore, however - wielding the power of Le Mu, he, himself, was not incapable of the exact same feat. It was just ludicrously foolish to attempt with Sirius on his own. Burai would be able to withstand the force of this black hole regardless.
Its new owner, however, was not made of Waves. He did not have an immediate advantage just from that point of view, and he did not know the target well enough to consider any efforts against him, so he did not want a new enemy. He looked around at those gathered, and found himself disgusted, but ultimately not surprised, at Hollow's response. Some things never would change . . . for a being content to listen and obey, however, he was incredibly powerful, and phenomenally difficult to put down.
He turned to look at Grom, however, rather than Gate, to answer the question of the moment. ". . . I'll be staying long enough to destroy all those that remain of Mu's creations. If I can't destroy it outright, I'll be putting the continent back into the ocean, as well.
"I would suggest placing the OOPArts back in their resting place, and making sure they're difficult to get to. At least there, they'll stay out of anyone's reach. They're destructive, and your people . . . they aren't ready for them. Not even the Murians were ready for them. . ." he trailed off here, as if remembering something unpleasant, but ultimately kept his gaze stern. It wasn't as though he viewed this as a way of helping them; it was something he viewed as part of his duty; his own burden to bear, his own purpose in all of this.
"Once they're all destroyed and put where they belong, I'll leave you be. Don't get in my way."
In his own timeline, he prevented ruination by forcefully exterminating all that would have destroyed them. The nature of human beings to rely on one another to accomplish anything was abhorrent to him, against his very nature, given what he was willing to do, and indeed, had to do, on his own. For that broken history, he alone could walk that road.
He turned, preparing to leave to complete the deed he explained, but did not immediately leave.
"YO YO! Its the man with the plan, the dude with a mood, YO! Gate, its great to see you! Tell me, have you finally decided to stay for one of my concerts? 78 hours, just for you!"
Moon Disaster's mood seemed to have rapidly shifted with the threat of Sirius removed; even amidst the black hole and the power that Gate displayed, he couldn't help but to consider that Gate and he had known each other for as long as the W3 had been using the moon - which had been quite some time, now. The Moon Disaster leaped up and spun about, grabbing a golden mic out of the lunar dust that he formed, and landing back down in a stylish pose.

#s://i~imgur~com/8w4a7DV~png Feint was surprised that ended the way it did; expecting something out of Xion but getting it out of Grom instead. A powerful leader, no doubt -- her nation's pride would settle for nothing less.
But it didn't take long before the scene proceeded and Gate's confrontation came about.
" ... "
She nodded her head to Burai, acknowledging his advice for the OOPArts. She expected him to take those back after this encounter, but he sounded like his hands would be full for a while so it fell on her to handle that in his stead. With Grom's approval, naturally.
The scene escalated further as lines were drawn in the sand -- Hollow picking sides with Gate while Xion and Joker planted their feet firmly against him. And where ever Moon Disaster landed among all that.
" Gate... what are you planning to do here? "
Warrior's pacifism was showing again, electing to talk things out rather than get down and dirty. Feint scoffed at that approach, rolling her eyes and making her stand with Xion and Joker without missing a beat.
" As if he'd just tell us. I'm with those two: spare us the flattery and piss off. "

Gate lowers his head with a shake and laughs under his breath, giving little more than a passing glance to Hollow as he does so.
Gate: Yours, yours, yours... tell me; if Sirius hadn't relented at the last moment, what would have happened to the earth? And beyond that; what would happen to a rogue black hole without something to at least stop it should Sirius' final command not be sufficient?
Gate looks off to a blank spot above the group and gives a nod. In response, the black hole quakes and swells, beginning to spin faster and faster in response.
Gate: Without outside interference, this black hole would have been a weapon of mass destruction unable to be controlled. And which of you would have been able to stop it? Who here can honestly say without blind bragging that you're capable of permanently controlling the vastness of infinity itself long enough to end its threat?
Gate allows the moment to fall on the group with silence before he continues.
Gate: No... this isn't a prize that you've won, it's a curse set in motion by an even bigger enemy than Sirius. The one difference being that I sprang my trap first. You had little choice in the matter, but the only reason that Sirius came here was because something on the side of our enemy sent him here. This means that this outcome was a part of their plan, and I cannot abide by that.
Gate glances up and nods again. In response, the black hole contracts and grows more docile.
Gate: This is not for you, for me, or for any of our kind to control, and it's certainly not a resource that I'll let fall into the hands of those who so obviously have our death on their minds. No; I'm taking it out of the equation entirely, and making sure that it can't be used against us in the future. Take whatever you may need now and leave, because in a few moments I'm removing this singularity, and anyone still here will be trapped within forever.
Gate then motions to Xion, looking him squarely in the eyes.
Gate: All but you. You and I have business.

Warrior conceded to that logic. He didn't come here with a plan to stop the black hole at all -- there was no time to devise one. It had suddenly appeared and threatened the planet. The only two options were to standby and let it go about its course, or confront the entity within and conjure a solution for the next problem as they went along.
Fortunately (in his eyes), Gate had already done the second half of the equation for them, as otherwise he was leaning on the notion that Burai would have had a solution prepared instead. And so without resistance, Warrior left to regroup with the others else where and discuss their next move forward.
" Bulls**t. "
The foul-mouthed, black-haired girl wasn't as easy to convince, though. Or rather, she was just too stubborn to believe Gate even if he was, in fact, correct.
Immortalis has mentioned earlier that Xion had a way to subdue the Black Hole in the event that they did defeat Sirius -- he even foretold that Xion would have to make a choice here, and it was already clear what choice was being made.
She may not have understood the context of everything in the moment that it was being said back then, but she didn't forget it all, either.
And she may not have known Gate herself, but was convinced that he had a hand in dropping a satellite on her country almost a year back and wasn't at all quick to forgive even an implied offense.
" You sound like too much of an a**hole to have noble intents. I'll take my chances with the governor. "
That is, the governor of the dark colony, as she had come to know Xion.
She couldn't disprove any of Gate's logic, but logic didn't sway her when she made up her mind. So if it was decided that she'd ride or die with Xion here, then even the threat of eternal incarceration within a black hole fell short of shaking her stance.

Gate drops his head and closes his eyes again, laughing under his breath just as before.
Gate: Ah, Ms. Feint.. how good of you to speak up. You are correct; my intent is not noble. What I'm doing is a calculated military move with the sole purpose of putting our opponents in check for a moment. While the goal of keeping all that we've ever known safe gives me a fuzzy feeling inside, it's secondary to the utilitarian goal that I have in mind. And as for taking your chances...
At a single motion from Gate, the network around the group shifts. Portals open from the ground, and the forms of the Shadow Devil, Godkarmachine-O-Inary, Eregion, and Volt Kurageil all appear. It's at this moment that the sky itself also shifts, turning from red to white as an overwhelming presence that feels as though it can see into the very heart of every Navi on the field makes itself known. Easily on a par with Sirius, but entirely different at the same time, it makes itself entirely known as the floating "W" marks are overtaken by one massive instance of the Greek symbol "Γ". The end result is a small army of beings ready to wipe out the attacking force in an instant.
Gate: ....taking a 0% chance is never recommended. Sirius didn't know what power he had at his disposal, but I do.
Gate's eyes then turn to Xion.
Gate: And besides, I believe that the new king would agree that this isn't the best course of action.

He would be able to compose himself once Gate began to bring up his points and show his work. Which meant addressing things in order here. Looked like things would be settled between them rather amicably as well then. If he needed to clean up the rest of Mu's creations, then the work was largely done. He'd be able to deal with the rest without any problems unless he moved a bit poorly. He still had a cursor drawn on his own head after all.
"Go see it done then, Burai. Safe travels."
That left what came next, holding his hand up for Feint. It wasn't as though he would shy away from a battle, no. It was simply that the goals of the two sides aligned more often than not. Controlling or eliminating threats, both would see it done one way or another. In the event of this particular resource, Gate just so happened to have it handled first. And while Immortalis had no reason to tell the truth or lie to them, that left taking him at his word that they would be allowed to act of their own volition. It was funny however, since he had said that their window would be small because others would intervene otherwise. Which meant they always counted on someone, Gate or otherwise, to intervene with this resource. Were they trying to lure that other target out? That wasn't his concern right now.
"Stand down, Feint. Noble intentions are unnecessary in the face of Sirius' assured demise."
That wasn't to say that noble intents were wrong. Merely that destroying him be it nefarious or noble was the ideal. And this way they could come out of this with some of their own cards kept in check. If the hawk could hide their talons then there was no need for the hawk to reveal those talons.
"I had plans to deal with the dying star, but nothing beyond that. That was always left up to their discretion. If your intent is to remove it from the equation then I'm more than willing to back down today. So long as you guarantee we won't see those stars align, as Sirius put it."
His job was still to remove threats like him from the equation even with his own potential risk in mind. He had already shown that he wasn't above working with others in order to guarantee that those threats were permanently removed from the board too. So long as the same could be applied here, then he saw no problems with yielding today. And at the very least should things go awry again, they had their backup plan should they need to find a new way to deal with this black hole that was growing docile due to Gate's command. In one way or another, this was ideal because it meant they had a plan if this ever had a fallout and one they wouldn't have to reveal today as well.

Gate turns an eye to Grom, and then turns fully. An amicable response to his statements, one that was well thought out at that. In return, Gate drops a bit of the superior persona and speaks frankly in response.
Gate: Commander Grom; while we have too many factors at play to ensure that this move alone will stop the stars from "aligning", my intent, based on all of the data that I've collected thus far, is to ensure that this is a loss for them, and that our kind is kept safe from this threat. One thing that I can guarantee is that, within reasonable doubt, I will ensure that this black hole never threatens the earth or the net ever again. On that, you have my word.
Though rare in a public forum, Gate's response to Grom was somewhat telling. He displays no ill-will or superiority, simply a chance to take control of the situation and keep it from becoming a future threat.

#s://i~imgur~com/8w4a7DV~png Cherish Pele smirked when Gate referred to her by her pseudo-name, thinking herself clever. But it quickly sank after his subtle motion.
" ... "
Her expression didn't show her shock at the sudden change of scenery -- or at least she'd hoped it didn't -- and her silence would only be short-lived as her mind was no doubt formulating some combination of macho, vulgar, and illogical assortment of words to reinstate her stance on the matter.
But like an obedient hound beckoned by its master, she halted as Grom raised his hand to her, begrudgingly respecting his authority and lowering her weapon compliantly.
" Hmph. "
Her quiet grunt would be her largest display of insubordination, and it was exceedingly minor at that. Her loyalty far overpowered her stubbornness, which saved her skin more than a few times, this occasion notwithstanding.
While she let the grown-ups do the talking (something she was clearly the least gifted at), she still seemed tense and ready to rise back up if given the order was given, but was leashed back under control by her supervising officer for the time being.

It was fair to say that it was difficult to ensure that the stars would never align. Between outside factors and the potential unknown it was always within reason to assume he would return sooner or later. If he was without his black hole as they just displayed, he was difficult but not impossible to remove from the equation. All they would have to do now is prepare even more thoroughly should he return. If he did so without the black hole as Gate ensured, then it was ultimately a foregone conclusion on their behalf. The Earth or the Net would never be threatened by it again, which meant their job was done successfully.
"It isn't as if we have a way to guarantee he stays gone either, so this is an acceptable agreement. I'll leave it in your capable hands then, Gate. We're leaving, Feint. We don't need to be endure eternal incarceration in this singularity."
He would aim his buster behind him, not firing a shot as a simple portal opened behind him, proceeding to walk through it first knowing that Feint would be right behind him as ordered. They still had a few remnants of business to see to about all of this before they could say the entire case was closed, and he would prefer to get that set in stone as soon as possible.

*Looked like he was communicating with whatever was his latest problem while speaking with them. As far as he was concerned unlike the beliefs of the others, he didn't view this as something that was his to stay to begin with. It was his to dispose of the problem, certainly, but that was because if anyone else got their hands on it they would end up making more problems. Of course given what Gate said about using the assets Sirius had at his disposal that was still true, but in the presence of the Shadow Devil, Eregion, Volt Kurageil, Godkarmachine-O-Inary, the new Sirius, and Gate, it was clear at least that Xion wasn't as unnerved as many would be in the face of those odds. Even with Hollow over there he wasn't as concerned with dealing with him as Burai was, seeing as he already had those means prepared and simply not utilized yet. It was still clear that he would be willing to oppose if that was his intended goal here from the beginning. So to start he had just one line to say that effectively held no meaning in the current circumstances.*
"I'll give Vega your regards."
*It would be a few moments of dead air between them as it was clear that Xion closed his eyes for a moment and had said it to no one in particular. But they opened again after Grom finished his end, more or less stating that he was neutral in this so long as the deed was done. That was simply how their relationship with the NIA was here seeing as they shared a common enemy. Other than that they weren't obligated to much else with one another. Grom was acting as should be expected of a commander, and it wasn't as if Gate was wrong. The workload of this plan had been split between their two teams, and ultimately neither had been necessary. Still, it was good to know Feint would stand in his corner outside of superior officer's orders. Foul as she was, she had herself in the right place at least. Still he would look Gate squarely in the eye now as well to return the gaze from before.*
"Besides, I can't exactly say I had evidence to prove my plan would work so it is blind bragging on my part. But it's not like we just find black holes to test those sorts of plans on either, so pretty much anyone just had to have enough confidence in their plan to see if it worked accordingly."
*Which was his way of saying that by all accounts it was just the same on his end as it was Gate's in terms of running the odds of success here. The only difference was that one was blind bragging for not trying while the other was bragging because they succeeded in their first try. Besides, he preferred maintaining a lower profile on this front than not even if it wasn't exactly a very low profile like he was used to. He wouldn't be able to maintain that facade forever anyway given his new station.*
"All of the airs aside though I have no qualms about any of that minus what I said before, so we still do have business. And despite my reputation I am still fond of business."
