With the current threat of Sirius being defeated, Merrill was hoping to relax. But as Gate showed his hand, and several other, VERY powerful beings showed up, his anxiety did not go down. He listened quietly off to the side, originally going to speak as a neutral 3rd party.
And Quickly thought better of it.
With Grom choosing to leave, as well as Burai,
Merrill didn't really know much about Gate or WWW. He couldn't judge him, nor did he really have any answer to the fact that he did have an answer to their black hole problem.
Warrior was choosing to remain nuetral, and honestly, so wuld he for now. While he had questions for Xion, and wanted to see if he could find some answers to some questions, now was clearly not the time.
He placed his arms behind him, watching both sides. His main focus being on protecting Lalonia and Jax, and seeing what the others would do. Plus, he wanted to learn more about the others in this merry band of misfits... Including the two in discussions

Hollow.___
Hollow was at first unable to read Xion's expression, not understanding the emotions on it. As the moment went on, and Xion thought about his words, a single sentence hung in the air with an incredible silence brought behind it, but also raised the ozone levels within the area by massive margins in an instant.
The pits of yellow that made up Hollow's eyes turned off, an empty void replacing them. Crackling electrical energy arced over his body, funnelled with the power of the void itself, as the sentence hung in the air, its meaning clear. There was no better way than to incite a response from Hollow, and Xion was the only one he knew of that would have the correct knowledge to use it.
Xion knew that Hollow had only one request. He was not a being that asked for much, no, as he did not know much that he wanted. What he did understand, though, was the depth of emotion that welled up at that name; he could rationalize how he suddenly felt, but none of these emotions were emotions that Hollow was used to dealing with.
Typical terms were not adequate to explain. It was not anger that he felt; it was unbridled fury. It was not resentment that chilled the power in his robe, it was targeted and purposeful spite. It was not frustration he felt, but indignant pride that fed into his fury.
It was not sadness nor remorse that quelled the energy just as quickly as it rose. The passivity of this being returned in an instant, as that incredible power was stored away, again. It was a morose, sullen despondency that drained his indignant outburst away. In an instant, Xion had sent Hollow through his grief all over again.
The lightning that arced over his form stopped. His eyes returned to their simple yellow glow. His presence returned to emptiness . . .
. . . regardless of how he searched for purpose, Hollow had allowed his lack of emotion to let him forget that Xion was the only thing remaining that he had any sort of attachment to. His last bond had been ended, forcefully, by the wages of time. Could he be so empty that he had forgotten that Xion was a bond, as well?
. . . It was a bond that he still felt no emotion towards. But, in his mind, it was better than nothing. That was all he had without it. Hollow, without much more word, cleared the space to once again stand next to Xion, if Xion would permit it.
Joker.DB
Joker narrowed his gaze at Gate, but decided now was not the time nor the place. He had already begun to consider his options, and liked none of them. There was one he liked more than the other, however.
He figured that his creators would be able to ameliorate the problem. There was no question in his mind whether or not it was above her capabilities, much less above his. Given their current study, it would be simple enough to do what needed to be done . . . but he didn't want that. All the progress he had made so far had been without their influence, and he was unsure of what the road ahead would be like if he returned to them. They had a way . . .
. . . he put that thought away, turning and watching as others left and made their way onward. He, too, would make his way onward.
[Joker => Exit]
Burai nodded his response to Grom's allowance of his endeavors, as well as his wish for safe travels. He did not respond in kind as the others continued to make their stand, though. His purpose was already decided. He dissipated into a purple line with flecks of gold spersed through his form, leaving what remained of the Black Hole Server to its new owner and taking off to the Earth itself.
The Moon Disaster wasn't amused that yet another of his concerts was being interrupted, but he knew better than to stay once the fun started rocking in reverse. Without much to say (miraculously), the Moon Disaster departs as well, back to his own grander purpose.

*There was a fury he was all too familiar with. From Hollow, from his brother... from himself too, when he allowed it to take hold its grip on him. Hollow was justified in his indignation. But it simmered down as all things did in his emptiness. He was done a bit of a disservice, but that was just how she did things. It wasn't an impossible egg to crack, but it was quite the tough shell indeed. When he spoke next it was his neutral tone again, not denoting that he was upset or anything about what just happened between the two of them. Theirs was quite the connection indeed. And Hollow due to his disposition was not too able to realize when he would be potentially walking in the wrong direction without considering what it would truly mean for someone else to give a purpose to you if you allowed them to.*
"Emotions can suck, fleeting as they may be. We'll discuss this at length later. For now you guys need to go before the discussion can start. I won't be long unless I just so happen to be locked up in here because I suck that much. But it wouldn't be the first case of Oblivion I've caught in recent days so don't count me out either."
*Not like he'd want to relive that experience, but life and lemons weren't always up to them on those cards. So he would open the gateway to the Undernet beneath Merrill and let him fall on through with Jax and Lalonia in tow. He would move it to take Hollow next as they were the final ones that remained. He figured he'd be in for an earful from Merrill later, but he'd definitely bring up how Joker got a pass not that long ago on his stunt even if Joker already had to be talked to a few times already. He wasn't looking forward to it, but he also owed the guy a fair deal and was willing to take the hit for that. He would look to the panels first, and then upward not because of his awareness to whatever was there, but because Gate had done so earlier as well. Plus that other presence that briefly made itself known alongside the number of additional forces here that still hadn't quite knocked the nerve out of him. He still ended up directing his gaze back to Gate.*
"I would say 'and then there were two', but then I'd be sort of lying given the available entourage."

Gate's head bobs upwards and to the side, keeping his eyes locked on Xion as his smile widens knowingly.
Gate: You'd actually be more correct in that statement than you realize.
Gate begins to walk forward on a newly created path directly to Xion's position. As he does, the visages of the monsters that the WWW wields as weapons disintegrate and vanish, revealing themselves as nothing but illusions.
Gate: Bigger army diplomacy. Offering a tangible set of enemies with established power provided the slight-of-hand that I needed to end this without confrontation. Better for everyone if we avoid infighting at the moment. Not that I needed anything else to win the battle should it have come to it.
Gate finally arrives on the same platform as Xion, walking up to the master Darkloid, and then past him to a newly opened panel.
Gate: You'll forgive me for working while we talk; a black hole provides infinite variables, and the ability to put it back where it belongs is important for all of us.
To begin with; congratulations on your resent ascension. The title of Underking hasn't changed hands in... I believe around 480 years, when MegaMan surrendered it back to Serenade after the death of his brother. But I gather that Serenade was anything but a good teacher when it came to obtaining the title. Fortunately, I'm patient enough to overlook what you said earlier, because you can consider this your first lesson on being the Underking:
Gate pauses for a moment and turns to Xion, his smile still very much in place.
Gate: You're not truly a "ruler", you're the sole "representative".
Gate turns back to his screen and continues to work.
Gate: For a bit of a hidden-history lesson; the Undernet is no longer hosted in a simple server hidden behind a waterfall in a traditional Electopian bathhouse. No; as time went on, that became far too dangerous for something as precious as the Undernet. Many years ago, Serenade made a deal with a few specific entities to outsource a portion of the hosting so that if any one server is destroyed, at least a few others still exist. And guess which organization has one of the servers?
Gate looks over his shoulder and nods at Xion.
Gate: So telling me to get "off your block" doesn't truly work when I'm part-owner of "your block". True, you can simply cut ties with the WWW and take back the portion of the Undernet that we host, but that will simply shut down one of your redundancies. And as you consider that, consider this as well: why is it that the WWW has never launched any form of attack on the Undernet after all of these years?
Gate fully turns this time, re-crossing his hands behind his back.
Gate: I'm provided the ability to launch unilateral strikes on enemies from the safety of the Undernet, as you've seen today, and in return I make no attempt to step on the sanctity of the Undernet's rule. In truth you're rather fortunate that I'm the one that you're learning this from. One or two of your other "allies" would have been all too willing to simply sever contact on the spot.

*So it was a bluff on his part to make others who were easier to be unnerved by the odds to back down. It was a good slight of hand to use on those who would consider their odds and their personal safety in the face of the fact that defeat could mean that no one returned from the defeat. That being said, he could effectively say he would have called that bluff simply because he at least didn't consider it the bigger army at the time. Appearance-wise and surface level it certainly looked as such, but he at least was well aware of where their position stood minus their obscure guest who was likely the actual one working right now. Still...*
"I see I'm not the only one surging in confidence around here. But I won't argue who has more weight to throw around. Even the recent ascension has its own number of possible veiled insults."
*After all, he believed he could win all on his own against them all after what happened with Sirius. Xion could understand that particular confidence as well. Despite whatever accolades were held by another, that never meant that they held weight when put against another. They were two different individuals and Gate's approach came from an angle of knowledge checks more than just a power check. In essence using that which he was unaware of changed it quite well even if Gate still had power to back it up. As he said though this wasn't about who had more clout to their name. At the very least because he had nothing to prove to Gate right now. Besides, he had been receiving quite a number of history lessons about the Undernet recently so this was still a good thing even if he was just a "representative" that could cut off contact with the others who held a piece of the collective pie.*
"Now I don't have a reason to cut ties with the WWW right now. Because that would have been one of my conditions for letting you keep that part of the block anyway. If you're a share-holder in the event I bite the farm much sooner than I intend to, it's fine. However I would rather not have secret extra owners. In the event of that it's hard to care whether the allies would sever contact or not."
*It would be a loss one way or another, but while he was fine on working with things and being flexible, he wasn't exactly good enough to just leave things up to mystery. If it was quite as sacred as it was, then he needed to know about it regardless. And if it meant severing ties in the eventual need to end up butting heads with someone who no doubt believed he'd succeed in his assault, that would be fine too. Of course, given that Serenade was willing to just let Gate launch unilateral attacks from the Undernet to begin with meant that he was fine with letting those sanctioned attacks go for a while as they had shared enemies. He imagined at one point or another the reins on the situation were not quite as maintained as the relationship made it out to be.*
"Of course that would change if I happened to know who the quiet ones were, if you were so patient to fill me in on some more of these missing details."

With a motion, the monitor behind Gate closes, signaling that his work on the current situation had come to a close before he continues.
Gate: I'd be careful, Xion; you don't hold as many cards as you seem to think. While the Undernet is vast and powerful, each "piece" taken weakens your clout exponentially. You may be powerful, exceedingly so, but you still don't have the tools needed to reach your goals. And I don't mean that as an isult, either.
Gate motions to the red field in which they now stand, waving his hand to the side to display its all-encompassing power.
Gate: For example; you're literally powerless right now. No matter what you may try, no matter how much power you may exert, your attacks will literally never reach me. And this isn't because I'm so much more powerful, it's because I know the process that we go through; your attacks are simply telling the servers what you're doing, and then the servers reflecting those commands on my personal data. I've done something here that every "higher" being on the net does to varying degrees: I'm using not just my own power, but the medium in which moves are made to my advantage. Here, in this field, your attack commands are never accepted by my server, meaning you have no attacking capabilities whatsoever.
And I don't tell you this to brag; right now neither of us have need for such things. I tell you this because you've just gone from the top of the lightweights to the bottom of the heavyweights. Your power and skills will likely not be sufficient to hold the Undernet together like Serenade did, but you've just started to tap into the boost that can take you where you need to be: Giga Freeze.
Giga Freeze uses a property similar to what I've spoken with you about today; it doesn't "do damage", rather it creates an infinite overflow loop within a part of a server connected to an individual Navi, causing them to become "frozen" in time and space, unable to move or be recalled. A "Chosen one", as Serenade so melodramatically loved to say, is simply a digital being with a unique data signature that can passively fix this overflow loop by telling it where to stop. When you touched Giga Freeze, I'd imagine that you felt time slow, and then suddenly it started again. This was your data communicating with the server and telling it how to stop. Some Navis, such as myself, have this capability due to their unique programming. Others have it at random, which is why it could even fail on a simple Normal Navi at times. The main risk here is if your data ends up in its own infinite loop while trying to tell the server to stop a given command, which would lead to even a "chosen one" failing to escape the power of Giga Freeze.
So why exactly am I telling you all of this? Simple: because the Undernet must persevere. It is arguably the most important network that we as digital beings have, and losing it could mean dire, dire consequences. These reasons, plus the fact that I agree with Serenade that you're most likely the most fit Navi for this job now, mean that you must get stronger, Xion. Much stronger. Giga Freeze is your early-game deterrent, but as time goes on it will become less and less reliable. Others will challenge your authority, and a shift in leadership could be far more dangerous than I believe you realize. And to make matters worse: you may not even realize just what threats you actually face. Beings like Forte are threats, but they're also your allies in a strange way. Forte will not remove the Underking unless he feels that another is fit for the position. In this way, he is the real king-maker at this point, and also a reliable pawn in your game of chess should you play correctly.
Now, as for your other beneficiaries: Serenade kept that data close to his own chest, but I know that one stakeholder is the OEL, and another is the Sharo government. There should be at least three others, but I do not know who they are at this time.

"This power is what separates the wheat from the chaff. What separates me from all of you! I am the chosen one! You all simply obtained the scraps left behind in my wake!"
*It was all honestly something that made sense. But it annoyingly hearkened back to the words of someone deceased that he didn't like to hear rambling in his ear. Even then he knew it shouldn't have taken effectively four of them to stop him otherwise. He didn't have any advantages that they wouldn't have had as well. If he had been playing on the same medium as them, that is. But this was something he couldn't push aside any longer. Because Gate's example also reminded him of another close call he had while he was on his own, locked away with no key to his exit as he looked to the red field. It wasn't above him to admit he got rather lucky on that account... or set up to succeed, either or.*
"Yeah, I have no reason to doubt your word on the influence of this field. The tools at my disposal even ended up planting me in a tight spot against one of their replaceable tools for something similar that you just described. My attacks just would never reach it no matter how hard I tried. I got out of the bind by using a resource that belonged to Turbine, that was taken by Joker, that was taken by one of Eon's various names, then back where it belonged. It was honestly a vexing experience. It always is finding out how powerless you are. That's why I always strive to remedy these problems. So... If I were able to more readily establish where the overflow began and ended, I should be able to accomplish more than just the freezing with this..."
*These were all things that had facts backing them up now. That which made a higher being wasn't always about power, as some loved to make it out to be. Many would say because the being's combative power didn't match up with some of the lower beings meant that shouldn't be classified as a higher being, but neglected the feats displayed by that being still. Simply because they could defeat a pumpkin that could conquer dimensions didn't mean they suddenly could do the same because their raw fighting strength exceeded his. The same applied to this black hole. Even if someone could defeat the owner it never implied they would automatically share the same capability of taking control over it. They simply won in a battle of strength and skill. It was as Gate put it: it was more than just a matter of raw power that established these things. Power mattered up to a point, but ultimately it was a matter of how they functioned being the key difference. He understood this with the Titan he removed from the table and added to his own arsenal now instead. Which he then altered because if he used it one for one, it would only end up a useless deterrent faster not unlike the Giga Freeze itself. He never took it to use as an offensive tool anyway given the raw utility it possessed. In the end all of these things were also why those things could end up unreliable when faced against another being on an equal playing field if the goal was always influencing them with it. But if he altered the medium and how the overflow influenced himself, then... He let out a sigh, looking up at the time in what even Gate could tell was a smile on his face.*
"Good grief. Imagine picking someone for this job who hated working with others. They'd lose that clout real fast. Thankfully I'm rather fond of company and moving up through the leagues. The OEL is just as shady and Sharo is just as quiet as ever. Guess they'll chime in when they're done scoping things out to say hello."
*After things settled down more than likely. This still meant taking this plunge and digging into that risk for the necessary boost. It ran with it the obvious risk of locking himself away forever should he fail and wind up permanently removed himself. But it also held as much potential as was described just now. More than to brag to one another who could accomplish more with what they had, this was to establish what they would need to be able to do to confront future threats and likewise why he imagined Grom was willing to leave without even putting up too much of a fight so long as the situation was handled. The WWW was a deterrent to things that would otherwise prevail against them not unlike Forte was. The tenuous balance of all the "higher" beings was maintained because ultimately they all eventually drew the same line in the same sand that occasionally would make them step on each other's toes to test if the other one had grown lax in their station. But he didn't have the power to back that up, not yet anyway.*
"Speaking of Forte, while he may be a reliable pawn, I also need to establish that he can't just replace me immediately on a whim. You've no doubt gone to great pains to ensure the same for anyone trying to do the same to you. Thanks for being forthright and throwing the book at me."
*And why Gate was willing to remind him that he would not be able to do the same should push come to shove. It wasn't a threat as much as it was just that: a reminder of how business would need to be conducted. Still that wasn't to say it wasn't good to have a king-maker around. He simply never planned to be unfit for the job or be allowed to be bossed around by others because they happened to stack a bigger deck at the time. This became even more important with the fact that he would need to ensure the Undernet stayed safe and would actually validate that side project he was going to begin on seeing as someday he wouldn't be able to enjoy the same freedom of simply leaving it to go about other business. His journey and goal would take him far beyond that point. Which reminded him of something a previous owner of net property had brought up before that would be a considerable time sink to work on as well.*

Gate's eyes spark, and half of his smile raises even more at Xion's deductions, obviously pleased with the direction that his mind was going now.
Gate: Serenade dared not tap into Giga Freeze out of fear of what it could do if toyed with. This is a program that has the potential to basically destroy the entire net, after all. Instead, he gained the power to manipulate the very fabric of the force that we call "darkness", taming the chaotic and turning it into an ordered power that he could wield to an exceptional degree. Forte has the power to not only add other beings of power to his own arsenal, but also interact with the net on a deeper level than other Navis due to his status as the first independent navigator, as well as his design to interface directly with Alpha. Even MegaMan had the power to use the true randomness of the human spirit to overcome the pseudo-randomness of the world in which we live in order to manipulate outcomes without even realizing it.
As for you; you may be on the right track. Giga Freeze is dangerous, but its unique properties could be manipulated in such a way that could give you advantages. For example; it could be used as the core of a program that would slow the processing power of everything around it, thus making your speed exponentially greater by comparison. Really, your imagination is the only real limiter... as well as the means to make the change, obviously.
Gate's eyes rise again, looking to something above Xion's head. He gives a nod, and then returns his attention to the Underking.
Gate: To that end, I would gladly volunteer to aid you in this endeavor, but I'd also understand if trust of that magnitude is something that you'd rather not share with me. To that end, there's only one other scientist that I know personally that could help you. I'm not sure if you've met him before, but your "brother" is very well acquainted with him: Doctor Psyche. He's currently hidden away in Kotobuki, but you should be capable of finding him without issue. Just note that it's best if you don't bring up speaking with me, as he'd likely deny you any support given that knowledge.

*Utilizing the untapped power of the Giga Freeze given that if a deep enough error was made would cause the end of their world as they knew it was something he understood. He could see why Serenade would consider against it instead of take that plunge. And that was why the light faded from the darkness when Serenade was taken in. That light represented the order that Serenade held within all of that chaos. In a way you could say that they took a similar approach to that matter before ultimately deviating. Serenade brought exceptional order to exceptional chaos in the darkness, while he instead gathered that "darkness" and used its chaotic nature as it were. Forte's ability to interface with their world directly due to his status as the first navigator that would also interface with Alpha on top of his power to add others to his arsenal made sense.*
"Even the big bad legend himself unconsciously pulled it off, huh?"
*In that sense one could say that with the tools and effort anyone could reach those new heights. And in this particular case, it was up to him to do the same. Gate's offer would certainly expedite things, though he couldn't help a light chuckle after a bit. Because of something that came up if he pursued the other source, Dr.Psyche in particular. He couldn't help but picture Genesis all on his own while he was constantly being tailed around by others back in the day, chief among them a growing empress not unlike this now fallen emperor that was being taken care of. It was quite the image to know that thankfully Genesis wasn't in fact all on his own in solitude his entire life now.*
"Someone Genesis is well acquainted with that's willing to put up with his attitude? His altruism must truly be unmatched. That or they're on a good wavelength with one another."
*"Brother", huh... he would like if they could behave as such with one another. Then again what even constituted a regular relationship between family? It always would be different from one person to another in terms of familial relationships. They weren't as volatile as they used to be with one another, but he wouldn't exactly say they were fully hospitable of one another either. And he certainly had what it took to navigate through Kotobuki without issue. But for the time being he would leave it as a bridge left unexplored.*
"But I still would rather not dance around connections like that. Trust is a policy of mine that I value quite highly so if he'd deny me for having contact with you, I can settle for not hunting him down for now. Just another difference we siblings have with one another."
*It was clear that there something above his head too that he was curious about. But he would understand that they weren't exactly in the time frame where they could discuss it all at length here. Gate had work to do and he did as well. He would keep the offer in mind, but before he took it he wanted to try a few things first. Even disregarding the matter of trust in their likely joint future endeavors, it was just always something he would do first. He would go to make his efforts on his own with his initial sources before he would begin to outsource from there.*
"Before I take you up on that generous offer, let me take a shot at it. I need to have a talk with him anyway to further another important project and all of this made it more important to pull it off successfully."

Gate nods, ultimately unsurprised at the lack of acceptance, yet also slightly surprised at the fact that Xion had not outright closed the door on the possibility of using this avenue in the future. Already he begins adapting to his new role as statesman.
Gate: A fair response. Should you need any assistance, feel free to contact me at any time.
Gate glances up again and nods. At this motion, a small line of code appears before Xion. It's obviously a contact address, yet it points to... nothing? It literally has no apparent recipient anywhere in the code.
Gate: You may use this to keep in contact, should you have need. As I've said; you've just become one of the pillars that hold our world together, so your success is our mutual interest. Oh, and before you go, one request from me: could you kindly explain what exactly is going on with your robed "friend", that joined me earlier? I honestly haven't followed that one's story, and it's not every day that someone just randomly attempts to ally themselves with me.

*There definitely was something up there after it dropped a string of code that also pointed to nothing at all. But he supposed that even if the code said it led to nowhere it would find its way back to Gate one way or another here. The logical explanation would have to mean that it was pointing to something that wasn't your standard kind of code, to the point where calling it encrypted would still be off the mark. It took him back to the conversation that took place between Grom and Sirius prior to their battle and at the conclusion of their battle.*
"I'll do that then."
*But in a funny twist of humor he'd have an easier time calling Genesis his brother than calling Hollow his "friend". He understood that it could have been at inception that he failed the checks required to grow beyond apathy, but he was pretty sure the others created managed to break that benchmark just fine. Hollow just was too stubborn and set in his ways to get beyond them himself. It made him far from what Vega would have wanted but an ideal tool all the same at the end of the day. And he was lenient with it to an extent, but also very tired of it after he also ended up having another dose of it from another angle for a long time now.*
"That robed ally of mine is Hollow. He's a being not unlike Sirius, but on a smaller scale of course. He likely reached the conclusion that since he has to be given a purpose, someone who will give him a purpose to be used for is where he should be. But since he has no regard for his well being due to his lack of an emotional spectrum, he has no regard for how he would be used. In the beginning our relationship was closely tied to one another, but we've veered from one another quite some time ago. Now all we have in common is history."
*After all it was part of his job to keep those doors closed. And on top of that, it had been better not to correct any analysis that those lenses were gleaning into. He was always the quiet sort when it came to who he was or what he could do. Maintaining a shroud that others could understand at the surface level helped him not have others trying to peer any deeper than that if he was unaware that they were trying to do so. All of that aside and more importantly than his inner rumination was what that random ally would be doing next.*
"I honestly have no qualms with him going with you. I just need to sort a few things out with him first before you can have him and do what you want with him. He's been stuck in his rut for literal ages now. Suppose the only way he'll get out of it is through a harsher experience instead."

Something that Xion says obviously piques Gate's interest, as revealed by another glance into the nothingness above.
Gate: I see, that is rather interesting. Honestly, doing "what I want with him" isn't exactly a priority. The ranks of the WWW have their roles already set, and as of right now I have no real use for more. That said; I can probably keep him busy for a time.
Hollow... an appropriate name for one such as he. While this did have some interesting potential, time wouldn't allow for such things for the time being.
Gate: I'm in no rush to work with him, so please take your time. But in the meantime; I do have a Black Hole to return to its proper place, so perhaps it would be best if we end our business, unless you happen to have any additional pressing matters.

*It was good to keep the matter vague on what exactly would happen in regards to the situation. Even if the ranks were filled and the roles were set, having Hollow busy for a while would still be better than just having him hover around. If Burai was good on his word, then he wouldn't even have to go and take care of the leftover business in relation to this as well. He would, however, not be lax enough to not make certain that was fact and would indeed check in on it and see if he didn't have to do some extra work. But he had a feeling that someone else who had been here was already getting to work on that.*
"The only other pressing matter is a personal affair that can be seen to later. Joker would be sad if I didn't let him hold on to it for a while longer anyway. But I'd be glad if you could keep Hollow busy for me after you're finished taking care of the black hole here. We'll be in touch, Gate and the quiet but talkative partner."
*The others probably wanted to see him again soon. But they would have to wait a bit longer on that one as it were. He had something he needed to take care of and it would be senseless to just drag them around with him as he did. So it would be better if he filled them in on that while he moved to enact the first step in his move here. So like before he would open the path back to the Undernet to depart from this space.*

Gate gives a nod to see Xion off, and closes the portal behind him. The red field that engulfs the black hole pulses, and soon Gate's attention returns to the console.
Gate: It's a shame to lose something so powerful for now. But, in the end, wisdom dictates that we don't play with such things until we're fully ready. For now, the preparations are complete, so it's time we vacate.
Gate himself disappears from the network, and following him is the piece of the Undernet taken by Sirius, and the field follows suit a moment later. Soon, the network returns to its shroud of darkness, as the real show begins outside.
