Prepping herself for another Virus Busting mission, Xylia would find Faith tightening her boots, counting her daggers, and checking her attire near the edge of Bayside City -- or what was left of it, anyway.
" ... "
She hadn't quite noticed Xylia's approach, but continued about her business with herself as she continued making preparations.

Xylia and her family of viruses entered Bayside, mostly in high spirits. Xylia was excited to see Faith again, considering she was one of the only friendly people she had run into in a while. She had been looking out for her since her memory had been fried.
Appearing a dozen yards or so away, Xylia spoke out.
"Hello again! Thank you for inviting me out to train! I really appreciate it!"
She smiled, knowing Faith would want to get started quickly. She patted each of her children in tow, giving them a quick bit of advice before quickly stretching her legs. She might not get another chance for a while.
"She may be a friend, but we can't hold back. We want to show her what we've all learned!"
Plus, she wanted to try out some new tricks...

#s://i~imgur~com/HMwvYex~png " Hmm? "
Faith's voice sounded surprised as she turned around to acknowledge Xylia's presence.
" Well how could I forget about my favorite pink-haired girl! You're sooner than expected! "
Her beaming smile was as welcoming as one could be, so much that it made her combat stance and drawn dagger feel completely nonthreatening to stand across from.
" This'll just be a warm up, so let's not go too crazy. Show me what you've all got! "
Her courtesy extended to the virus family as well, and so did her impending strikes. It was as she said: nothing lethal or terribly dangerous, but enough to cause movement or at least reaction.
The sigils on Faith's dagger changed colors from red to light blue as she swung it at seemingly the air -- careening in from Xylia's side, at the same angle Faith had swung her blade, a light blue ethereal sword came spinning toward her like wheel of pain. It "drove by" regardless of whether she and her family evaded or not, then vanished in the distance after crossing her up while Faith's dagger's sigils changed colors once again while she made a swing to the opposite direction: this time golden symbols.
Another ethereal sword, this time yellow and sparking with electricity, rolled in at the opposite angle that the first had come from, behaving identically to it.
The sigils turned orange this time as Faith made one final swing: this one a vertical movement. From behind Faith, a flaming sword appeared and spun toward Xylia and her company just as the rest had, completing a trifecta of elemental blades, as it were. While none of them remained, lingering evidence of their presence -- ice on the ground from the first blade, sparks in the air from the second, and flames tracing the path of the third -- boasted Faith's ability to adjust her approach on the fly.
She paused now, eager to see what Xylia had learned since their last encounter.

Xylia couldn't help but smile and curtsy to Faith, but she really wasn't given time to respond, as Faith set the usual ground rules, and swung her dagger.
Unlike their previous encounter, this one took didn't start with a red haze, rather the dagger itself gained a hue. Xylia barely managed to catch the change, as suddenly a chill crept through her. She managed to see the ethereal blade, but rather than dodge, flakes of various colors, blue, purple, green, reds, yellows, orange, brown, and even white gently flashed, the blade colliding into Xylia as she took the brunt of the attack. This didn't deter Xylia in the slightest, but it did throw off her plan as the golden blade struck her from behind. More glint of shiny colors sparked as Xylia was struck, but again, she took the brunt of the blow, her children standing behind her in a line. Her hair seemed to spark and spike from the electricity, but she didn't falter.
As for the final blade, Xylia didn't fear the flames, this time, crossing her arms. Unlike the previous strikes, this time, the glints and sparks of color and light appeared in front of her, acting as some sort of defense. Faith would see the blade colide with this light, and be pushed off to the side, leaving Xylia no worse for wear than after the effects of the second ethereal blade.
"That's a pretty neat skill you have there! That type of elemental control... Is something I wish to strive for. Not necessarily in the form of weapons like that though..."
She was somewhat awed by Faith's ability. She hadn't mentioned much of it to Faith before, she had read little of her mothers elemental prowess. The book that she had from her mother only responded to her own growth, which was something that she frustratingly hated. She had to learn so much to glean so little into her mother's past... But if her mom was an elemental powerhouse, she wanted to be too.
"Now it's our turn!"
Xylia reached forth, hands outstretched and she began to sing. Rainbow hued light flashed, and some of the damage she had just received vanished instantly. Not only that, but some of that very same sparkling energy shot forward right at Faith. Moving her hands around, she began manipulating and fusing certain colors of energy and light into her hands....
Then, like children running around chaotically Cura, Maya, Serenity and Celero darted out from behind her, splitting duties. Cura shot two quick fireballs, then one bigger fireball. From the opposite side, Maya and Serenity Fired lasers at her from the opposite end, all while speedy little Celero had dashed completely behind her, dropping a little homing crawler bomb, before hastily tucking tail behind his mother.
Taking advantage of that time, Xylia glowed briefly as red and yellow energy made a cackling and flare sounds of their own. A Small yellow cheetah encased in a yellow shell was floating right above her right shoulder, tiny, small slender bands of energy, connecting to Xylia, and the children. Above the other shoulder, was a small flaming phoenix, it's eyes focused in on Faith.
Xylia took a deep breath and a two word phrase escaped her lip, a larger than normal gust of wind and light forming past her mouth and flying straight at Faith. From There, she altered her stance slightly, using what precious seconds she had to gather more of the essence in the world around her...

#s://i~imgur~com/HMwvYex~png Faith's agility was remarkable as ever, boasted by her movements as she twirled her body parallel to the ground like a stationary torpedo, allowing Healer's fireballs to clash with the twins' lasers as they came at her from each side.
She dropped her dagger mid-evasion, which may have seemed accidental at first, but it intercepted the homing explosive from Celero that blasted it forward, causing it to intercept Xylia's personal gust as well and ricochet off of that back to Faith's hand. It was as if the whole sequence were choreographed for as natural as it flowed.
" You're not bad yourself! Some new tricks, I see. "
Faith eyed both the cheetah and the phoenix on either of Xylia's shoulders as she made her comment. She raised her hand, throwing a handful of chips into the air that transformed mid-flight as they landed around Xylia and her party in a circular formation, materializing as Time Bombs as they hit the ground.
" This here is an old one of mine. "
Six in total appeared around the family in a hexagonal pattern, their timers ticking down rapidly as they were left to decide how to handle them.

Xylia was not surprised that Faith was able to dodge their attacks. She did it in such a way that it looked effortless, and yet, Xylia wasn't disheartened. She knew, they all had a lot of training to do before being able to even land a blow.
But that didn't mean they wouldn't try!
Having the battle chips land around them, with rapidly decaying timers didn't help. Unfortunately, this left Xylia with little choice. She would have to use her trump card early!
"Cura, Let's test it!"
She cried out to her eldest daughter, and biggest supporter. With a nod, Cura reteated, taking a hop into her mother's arms. She gently pressed her forehead into the chain around Xylia's neck, and blinding red, orange and white lights erupted forth from Xylia's body!
As the light faded down, Xylia's bright pink hair now carried a shade of red, and orange, lit up like flames. Her eyes were still emerald, but with Red irises. Her canine teeth lengthened and became sharper. A small redish hue eminated from her body.
She slammed her fist into the ground, followed by letting loose a small roar, sending a flame enhanced ust if wind, similar to an enlaged fireball, right out of her mouth. She aimed a second at Faith, while picking up her other children and dashing to the side. The remaining time bomb chips exploded, still dealing damage, but not critically wounding anyone. Xylia took the brunt of it, but her enhanced state definitely lessoned the blow. To aid in their recovery, a small candle appeared by her side, the light rejuvenating her.
"My turn now!"
Fireball, Fireball, Gust of wind. Xylia was relentless, using her enhanced speed and power from her fusion, and from her summons. Another two appeared, an armadillo and a sylph, enhancing her body further.
She dashed forward, throwing a flame uppercut at close range, followed by a firebreathers at point blnk. From there she retreated, as the twins fired two lasers and Celero dropping another bomb. A special bomb had appeared where the first had been preciously, all homing right in on Faith!

#s://i~imgur~com/HMwvYex~png " Oh, this is impressive! "
Faith moved deftly to avoid everything, but Xylia's impressive change in speed was managing to keep up with her so many of the attacks actually grazed.
" Very unique! "
Having felt quite warmed up by now after all was said and done, Faith sheathed her weapon and relaxed her pose, signifying the Xylia that she was finished with the training.
" I suppose we're just about done here, aren't we? "

Faith easily handled all of the attacks, which was to be expected. Even with her enhanced state, Xylia's still had a long way to go in order to be able to land a solid blow.
However, before they could continue, Xylia had to transform back. She kneeled down, taking a deep breath.
"I suppose... That we about... Done..."
She was exhausted.
