*This was a strange feeling. He couldn't tell if it was threatening or not rather than it was off-putting. Like something that should be alienated, it was forcing itself in despite everything against it, as if saying it was above the same restrictions the rest of them were often bound by. He knew something was off ever since the world around them was changing... but had he been wrong? When things were destroyed they didn't return, but was the change more centered around all of them rather than the world they inhabited? ...Was the world collateral damage in whatever change they set into motion against the rest of them? To what end could this achieve by driving them toward becoming something foreign altogether? ...Or was it something foreign at all? Because he could dismiss the first idea he had now due to all of this happening and what he knew about himself and Hollow.*
"Talk about a lot of unnecessary numbers here."
*Xion never found himself impressed by armies. That wasn't to say that they weren't impressive to have considering their numbers, even in this particular case. It was simply the fact of what he was built for and what he had overcome. These numbers here as Burai's emptiness would remind him was that they were simply that: a statistic. He wasn't big on asking questions of an entity that was clearly looking down on him, so instead he would limit himself to just the one. One he would ask because it didn't pertain to himself either.*
"Is the Great Being still here or is she a recreated specimen you all cooked up in your smelting pot?"

As an instinct to feeling threatened, Feint's hand was already on her gun. It remained holstered at the bottom of her back, but with her hand resting on the grip, it was only an arm's movement away from answering said threat.
"The Great Being" was a term thrown around a lot today, and in the past few minutes especially. This was no doubt its dwelling place, anyone would have been a fool to not have picked up on that by now, but beyond that, she didn't really know much about it other than it was being used to create Wave Matter or something or another.
Whatever the static-esque individual saw in her among all of this was anyone's guess, but it certainly wasn't a feeling she liked. Burai probably had the right of it, but if that was the case then she'd be lying if she wasn't curious to know more about that. Were she aware of other world events, namely the "Mortality Anomaly" that Navis had been experiencing lately that hinders their regenerative abilities and even goes so far as to indicate flesh and bones within them, then perhaps some sort of parallel could be drawn there. Cherish Pele, however, was as oblivious to all of that as she was to anything else she had discovered today, so it wasn't her place to observe it.
With Burai and Xion having said their pieces, and plenty of more-than-desired attention already on her, she simply remained silent and at the ready for what came next. Xion in particular was being much more confident than she had remembered him being back in Netopia during the Dark Colony invasion, but more power to him in that case. It was just too bad he didn't show it back then.
The army was impressive, but at least two of the guardians certainly preferred the air or the sea, and there wasn't much of either to offer indoors, so that'd at least cut down half of their efficiency in this particular setting.
But then again, EM stuff probably had a caveat for that, so her hopes weren't so high after all.

As was to be expected of one from beyond. His understanding was a fair deal above what was shown by a vast majority of those who innately were just from here. But then his understanding simply was one obtained through his relatively short time on his own world. It was long enough to make him more keen than others, but also long enough where it would have been much more ideal to have played with this version than the other. In the time constraints given at least, they still performed rather optimally.
"Your first deduction is an astute one. You certainly are wiser than you were when you belonged here. I would have preferred to tinker with you when you understood the implications, but I've already finished with you and your tantrum enough times."
It was a rather disinterested tone that it held behind the amalgam of noise that came from it. But it held a finality to it that revealed the answer to a question never vocalized thus far. Whatever happened to the Solo of this world as they traversed through the Murian landscapes. His words alone gave voice to the answer to that innocuous question with a ruthless, merciless conclusion. Like everything else that was toyed with, he adhered to the same fate that all the others had before him until they were finished with him. He vanished the same way in which he was so mindful of being: alone. The other experiment's inquiry came up along the way, so it could be answered just as well with what his answer was going to be for the rogue already.
"Your second deduction however is one barred by your point of view. You fall behind in comparison to our Experiment here. Answering the whims and demands of another? That's impossible for me. I can't follow anything that is lesser than myself. Forcing it back into slumber to reawaken it to continue its work? Initially yes, due in part to her limitations at forging the others we desired. That was taking too long however, so we took a superior approach. So now? She has had no say in what we want of Her for some time now, as all inferiors are fated to live, oh grand Executioner of Her will."
It had shifted from a disinterested tone to one that sounded as if it were speaking to a toddler. The temperature in the area began to rise, as the static figure floated back a bit as if to say that it wouldn't be engaging at the same time as the army before them. It was like a foreign notion to it, given its own standing and what this army represented. And the answer would be given on how this was about to begin right now.
"Living the pathetic lives of a people undeserving of any heritage whatsoever to understand the meaning behind it is a pointless endeavor. You are allowed to decimate the vestiges of this being's works as you have been allowed to collect your artifacts of old. Because ultimately, what you can destroy will never even be a fraction of what I stand for. This will only be but another vain attempt from you before you had no further merit for me. The name you can take with you on your final exit when you are done is Immortalis, The Unending."

#s://cdn~discordapp~com/attachments/340189121500938240/728347473344725113/113~png Burai narrowed his gaze at the foreign entity, Immortalis', words. He listened to them carefully, as he tried to think through the haze of the blood that pounded in his ears. The heat in the air made him feel as though his very body was boiling. He had to learn to control his thoughts - the predatory Crimson Dragon could leap on his rage and consume him. As much of a help its power would be right now, he did not need it out of his control.
You certainly are wiser than you were when you belonged here. . . . I've already finished with you and your tantrum enough times.
The implications were clear, and yet they were so much more than an implication: It was a statement. A finality; a certainty. Technology would never have advanced to awaken this world's Solo from his stasis, but that would not stop them from doing their own digging. They did find him, then - and treated him just as they did the heralds. When he had first awakened from his own stasis, he was certainly strong, but beings of their power would have wiped him out with ease had he not had the opportunity to adapt to the new world before hand. He'd had the benefit of journeying beyond and into the evolved Wave World to grow in strength.
They'd heard his tale, then. They knew his beliefs. At least, the ones limited by the perspective of this world's technology and history. What followed was nothing less than pure blasphemy - this Immortalis, declaring that he cannot answer the whims of anyone beneath him, as though the Great Being could be matched. Like a slumbering volcano, once awoken, she would slowly rise in power, and produced her creations as a natural process of Her being. Unless given time to awaken properly, She would never rise to Her full strength again - the strength that allowed the Murian people to ascend their continent into the heavens, and build colonies beyond the stars; a strength that even they knew was not Her peak. Through knowing the language and the history, the Murian sages once theorized that there wasn't any secret, any wonder, any technological creation that She would be incapable of. If they humored Her need to rest between creations long enough, and refused to yield to Her demands of worship, She would have never risen above her usual supply of creations. He supposed that with their capabilities and intelligence, though, enough strength and control could be used to redesign her, just as they did her creations. He thought of his previous notion - impossibility made reality. Was this, then, the focal point of that power? Was it Immortalis, this being that seemed to defy reality, that possessed the strength to rewrite it and make his will so?
Burai closed his eyes for a moment, which gave time for Immortalis to float away, and felt the heat in the air rise. He allowed its warmth to wash over him, as an ephemeral flame began to send cinders off of his body. When next he opened his eyes, his convictions were set, and he knew what he would do. Talking to Immortalis would bare him no fruits - he had to prove to Immortalis that he was outmatched. The motes of red ash suddenly turned dark purple as they mingled with the energy from his hand. Like a powerful geyser of volcanic fury, the ground cracked underneath him and unleashed a torrent of purple magma, rose into the air above him, and rapidly cooled into a dense rock formation that crashed back down onto him, streaming its own tail of purple flames.
When the show of power ended, Burai was left behind with rivulets of power arcing from his body. His silver shoulder pads had been replaced with large, black pauldrons that sported a trio of menacing crimson claws. The gauntlet on his normal hand had been replaced with a powerful, thick plate of armor that had a stout, heavy forearm and an inset underarm, perfect for building momentum behind a punch.
He now wore a set of large, rounded shinguards with wide, silver-and-crimson plated boots, with a design like powerful dragon-like claws arcing from the base of the shinguards. His helmet had been morphed to protect his cranium with a thick, rounded plate of black metal, and an angular visor that now supported his Wave Predictor. Most prominent, though, was the massive crimson horn that now sprouted from his forehead. His stark white hair still had space to jut out of the back of the more complete helmet, but had more intense spikes to accentuate the power of the form.
To finish the piece, his sword hand - the hand engulfed in flame - now was instead consumed by a giant gaping maw, a large, metallic dinosaur head with hollowed out eye sockets, great golden ridges for a brow, and large silver spikes coming out of its cheeks.
Feint would recognize the power, similar to that which she had wielded in the charge of the Phantom Black. Laplace now formed out of the maw of the Saurian Meteor, its handle nowhere to be seen, but the strength it radiated still present. Burai stood before the army that rose around him, transformed and still flowing with strength, as if daring them to come upon him. The color of his fire has shifted to a deep vermillion, as the rage and might of the Saurian Tribe washed over him.
"In the ancient days, the Murian Land was invaded by an army of monstrosities that possessed unheard strength and breathed fire from their maws. Rising above their crusade, the Murians utilized the Extinction Meteor to rid the world of the danger these Dinosaurs presented. Some of our number took to their primal might and emulated their strength - with their strength and breath of fire, the Saurian tribe conquered all of the land that these dinosaurs once inhabited, and then beyond it.
"Your army is nothing compared to what I have survived."
As the transformation completed, the intensity of the isolation of his very existence became a crushing weight upon the battlefield, a dark miasma that radiated from his very core that rushed outwards and and crippled those that dare stand before him in their unity. As time and time again, the only thing that was proved by their numbers was their weakness as an individual.
Burai raised the Saurian Meteor, as the jet of purple flames that burned from the back of it intensified into a maelstrom. The powerful maw released an arc of powerful purple flames that created an intense wave of heat that surrounded Burai, only to intensify as the wave of fire was brought overhead, the maw releasing wave after wave of decimating flames into the air. The fires rose above Burai in an impossible way, even after the force of the maw stopped propelling them, and sprialled ever upward, reaching towards the skies. As it reached its apex, the powerful flames burst into an intense conflagration of sparks, and began raining back down again.
[Burai HP=10,900/10,900]
Set Phase:
[Isolation Zone] A broken history paved his road to conquest, and all that stand against him must fight in the depths of his isolation. - Burai has no allies. Burai does not benefit from any effect reliant on allies. Burai cannot be intercepted for. - Individuals do not benefit from any ability that is generated by, targets, affects, or is reliant on allies, and treat all effects as though they were fighting alone. No individual may intercept for any other (self-summoned objects are not included), and abilities activated can only affect their user or their enemy. Allies cannot be excluded from effects that would target or affect all enemies. - Offensive interactions based on others are negated. - While Indie Darkness is active, Burai cannot ignore this skill for those fighting alongside him.
[Combat Arts] A skillful and capable combatant, Burai performs fluid movements that allow him to strategically chain attacks together in a way that leaves his enemies confounded. - Burai only ever requires a 1-Turn Charge for any Avoid Separately Attack, and he decides how many hits the attack has on use. Each hit of Avoid Separately strikes at full damage, but must be made as a part of a separate attack slot. - Being struck by any hit of an attack with avoid separately makes any hit that the opponent could not reduce to 0 Damage impossible to avoid. - If all hits of an attack chain in a turn successfully deal damage, Burai applies 1 immediate charge to that attack chain.
[Wave Predictor] His visor detects ambient energy flowing from his enemies and displays information about EM Energy present in his surroundings. By tracking the flow of energy, this allows him to predict an opponent’s movement. In this world, he must first flood some of his own energy into an opponent to force them to emit EM energy as they move. - Each full avoidable attack that hits a target grants the attack +1 Hit, until the attack misses. This can apply to Avoid Separately. - When avoiding the same attack in a turn, each sacrificed Attack Slot allows him to evade one additional instance of that attack.
[Bond Isolator] Burai stands as the antithesis to bonds, loyalty, friendship, teamwork, and every other feasible idea of companionship. When fought against, Burai uses his strange power, the ability to pull energy directly from the empty voids within the human heart, to isolate even armies risen against him. - For each allied entity against him, Burai activates one other “Link” Skill. The effects of these skills cannot be ignored nor negated as long as the enemy fights alongside allies.
[Bond Cancel] An oppressive force that renders their paired tactics as a suppressant. - For each allied entity against him, all enemies must choose a number of Skills or Programs to disable. This caps at 6 allied entities. [Xion and Feint must select 2]
[Bond Counter] An oppressive force that renders their paired tactics as a downfall. - For each allied entity against him, Burai gains the benefit of a single effect that would affect their allies instead. He may choose a different effect each turn per allied entity. This caps at 6 allied entities.
[Bond Curse] An oppressive force that renders their paired tactics as a poison. - For each allied entity against him, Burai inflicts 2% of his target’s max-health as unavoidable damage each turn. At three or more opponents, this Damage reduces Max-HP. This caps at 6 allied entities.
[Bond Debilitation] An oppressive force that renders their paired tactics as a dampener. - For each allied entity against him, Burai gains +5% Damage Reduction against all attacks. At three or more opponents, this Damage Reduction cannot be ignored. This caps at 6 allied entities.
[Bond Limitation] An oppressive force that renders their paired tactics as a barrier. - For each allied entity against him, all of his opponent’s non-basic attacks gain a 1-Turn non-reducible cooldown. [Xion and Feint gain 2-CD]. This caps at 6 allied entities.
[Bond Slowdown] An oppressive force that renders their paired tactics as a burden. - For each allied entity against him, all of his opponents lose and cannot gain 1 Attack Slot. This caps at 6 allied entities.
[Bond Suppression] An oppressive force that renders their paired tactics as a void. - Allied entities cannot affect Burai with battle chip related effects.
[Bond Vulnerability] An oppressive force that renders their paired tactics as a weakness. - For each allied entity against him, Burai gains +5% Damage. At three or more allied entities, this damage cannot be mitigated. This caps at 6 allied entities.
[Indie Isolation] A power given to he who has forsakened all bonds, Burai channels the incredible power of the Indie Isolation through his body, empowering his already potent defenses, speed, and equipping him with a mighty broad sword. - Can only use half of his attack slots to attack while active. Burai’s Mu Rejection Barrier negates three full attacks made against him in a turn. Grants the skills Weapon Focus, Vital Strike, Devastating Finish, Wave Slicer, Keen Edge, and Blade Works. - While Indie Darkness is active, Burai inflicts 605 Unavoidable Damage to the attacker each time he is struck by or prevents a C-Range attack.
[Indie Darkness] An incredible, pure dark energy bound within Burai’s left hand. The dark energy is renowned for its unparalleled destructive energy, and grants Burai an unprecedented boost in power. To tap into this strength, Burai truly forsakes all bonds, threatening everything around him. - Burai’s Attacks with his Primary Element gain an additional 50% of his base damage added to each hit, and gain the Dark Element. Charged attacks cannot be reduced below more than 15% of their total damage per turn of charge. Charged Attacks release an unaimed attack with Hits All dealing damage equal to half of their base each turn they are charged. This unaimed attack is affected by the multiplier of its current charge. - When used alongside an OOPArt, the OOPArt's Primary Element benefits instead apply to all of Burai's Primary Elements. Once per transformation, Burai can ignore the charge and use requirements of the OOPArt's granted Giga Special, but the Giga Special takes up all attack slots that turn.
[OOPArt - Saurian Meteor] The ancient artifact of the Saurian Tribe, this meteor is shaped like a dinosaur fossil. While appearing as a simple rock to the untrained eye, it radiates with intense wave energy, and when supplied with another's power it erupts into flames, and grants the might of the Saurian tribe to its wielder. - User gains the benefits from Fire Lv5 as an additional Primary Element. User becomes immune to Charge Interruption, Attack Slot Reduction, Counters, and Damage Reductions. - All Base Damage Calculation benefits to the user's Primary Elements are increased by 50%. - All optionally charged attacks gain the benefit of their charge multiplier twice. -- Enables Cataclysmic Crash, Extinction Meteor, Saurian's Roar, and Genocide Blazer.
[Laplace] Burai summons forth his most powerful weapon, and his only accepted ally: Laplace, a sentient blade, and an ancient artifact of the Murian people. The Laplace Blade has the ability to absorb the energy of the EM Beings created by Mu, as well as many other murian artifacts, making Laplace his most powerful tool. - Burai gains access to his attacks that specify Laplace’s use. Grants the skills Blade Fury, Wave Arc, and Divine Edge. Burai gains the Divine Blade Element.
Support Phase:
Burai Inflicts 12% of all enemy's maximum HP as unavoidable damage against the Murian Army. This reduces Max HP. Against Xion and Feint, this only inflicts 4% of their maximum health.
[Tribe Force - Genocide Blazer] An incredible show of raw might, the Saurian Meteor expunges a vortex of flames from its maw that envelopes the battlefield. The intensity of the released flames commands the complete attention of its user, but is stable enough that the gout of flames can be redirected and turned about, allowing it to strike at all angles. The flames arc upwards with each passing second, and as the cataclysm of the fiery vortex ends, it culminates and rains down the Extinction Meteor. 3,655 * 5 Hits [700%] S-Range Fire/Dark Base Damage || x1.3 [Bond Vulnerability] x6 [Charge] x6 [Saurian Meteor] * 4.5 [Charge] 769,745 Damage * 5 Hits [700%] S-Range Fire/Dark Damage ::o:: Fully Undodgeable, Burns, Cannot be Naturally Avoided, ignores avoidances with multiple types. ::o:: Damage cannot be reduced below 75% of its final damage per hit. ::o:: Hits 5 Times, Avoided Separately, Hits All. ::o:: Damage dealt by this attack cannot be restored by any source. ::o:: This attack is used an additional time the following turn with a number of hits equal to the number of targets struck. ::o:: If Hits: Executes. Destroys: All. Pierces all Survival Effects, including Gigas (or Giga equivalents). ::o:: Can be optionally charged for up to 5 turns. Increases all benefits of Primary elements on the attack by their base value per turn of charge, on top of normal charge multipliers. ::o:: If this attack is entirely avoided, uses Extinction Meteor with the same benefits on charge next turn.

The stage was fully set, then. Immortalis withdrew for now to leave this matter to its minions -- unfortunately enabling it to observe this party if it so desired, collecting even more information on their limitations and abilities.
" ... "
Feint wasn't fully bothered by it, as her combat paradigm was a pretty honest one, all things considered. Unsurprisingly, fighting against a legion had its own assortment of pros and cons that would stack up against said paradigm, and she wasn't exactly built to wipe out hundreds of foes at a time.
Fortunately or not, Burai had made his move, and if nothing else, an extinction-level attack would probably do the trick better than she could. Certainly would, in fact. But he wasn't exaggerating when he said she and Xion would be in the blast radius -- something she still didn't find a problem with, as it at least empowered her weapon in the process.
Less fortunate, though, was that her suit's adaptation of Burai's rejection barrier was perhaps a bit too handy. It endured the cataclysmic attack before it made contact with her suit, so her weapon remained uncharged. It wasn't entirely a problem, of course, it just set her back to her regular slow start rather than the jump start she was expecting. Conveniently, it also mitigated the negative side effects that Burai's isolation aura would have had over her under normal circumstances.
So she had nothing to add to the assault for now, but took the initiative to prepare for the worst this army had to offer them.
Defensive
Feint: 9,100 HP
Isolation Fragment: Feint cannot use Mega Chips
Mu Rejection Barrier: Feint accepts the following Locks
{- ° She cannot be intercepted for - ° She does not benefit from allies - ° She has no allies - ° She only benefits from self-sourced, self-triggered effects - ° Feint can negate 5 Attacks per turn ::(+)::} Murian Rejection Barrier -- Core A mysterious, impregnable defense that seems to spawn of its own volition before Feint, springing forward to protect her from any source. The depths of her isolation reaches a new height, fully isolating her from any force. The Crest of Mu appears on her chest upon accepting this power. ° The Murian Rejection Barrier negates one attack that would otherwise hit the Feint each turn. This is a non-avoidance effect, and cannot be interacted with by any source. ° Triggered effects that do not negatively affect Feint are still triggered from negated attacks. While this Barrier always negates full attacks, attacks with Avoid Separately or Additional Required Avoidances will reduce its total effective attacks as appropriate. ° The number of attacks negated is increased by 1 for each of the following Locks accepted. These must be stated at the start of combat, and cannot be changed once selected: -- Feint cannot be intercepted for -- Feint does not benefit from any abilities and effects created by allies -- Feint has no allies in combat, preventing her from intercepting for others or targeting other entities with effects that would benefit allies. Any effect that scales based off of allies in effective. -- Feint does not benefit from interactions based on another's actions; she can only benefit from self-sourced, self-triggered abilities. ° Costs 3 Isolation Fragments

*'Our Experiment', was it? The last time anyone looked down on him enough to refer to him that way was back when the three of them were once nine. As he surmised, there was no room for discussion between them. That could come after the Unending was dragged down from on high and was looking at him properly. It was one of the things he was irritated with the most, having someone look down on him. But the only remedy for that was to assert that looking down on him wasn't an option. And that was still light in comparison to the slights given to the Murians. They were allowed to destroy this army, were they? As opposed to getting ready to fight back, he instead directed his gaze toward the changing Burai as his own darkness began to rise up.*
"With all that said, this army is all yours."
*It wasn't a matter of him standing alone or a matter of aid or not. This was a matter that was best resolved by him and him alone, so it would be. Before the mighty conflagration did he bring the darkness that rose up to bear, meeting with it to bring it down low and dissipate it as it came close to him. He would keep ready to deal with the brunt of the attacks set loose, but wouldn't bother trying to rush ahead either. All of the heat that was unleashed by the power adapted from the extinct dinosaurs by the extinct Murians didn't make him forget however what that sign very likely meant. Was he on this floor, the next, or higher up? One way or another, the dance with purgatory was just around the corner as well even after this was taken care of.*

Before the incandescent inferno he unleashed was he met with silence. His next accord would have to be met after he dealt with the army that paled in comparison to the end of his kind. And at the show of force did they too begin to move. Plesio Surf, much as he had done in the imagery he had witnessed was scorched one and all under the might of the Saurian Tribe. The others resisted against the flames however, as what was once four-hundred had devolved down to a rounded number of three hundred to three. The result of this was a flash of blinding gold before each of the Murians set upon them with moves that two were familiar with from Yeti and Condor alike as the unwieldy avalanche was set down upon them along with the onslaught of missiles and the charging bird. Even the Phantom would descend upon them with a whirlwind of dark energy and claws of shadow aimed to take everything from them as they were assailed from all sides again and again, time and again. Until at last the wave had ceased for when the dust settled upon the field.
Defense:
Yeti loses: Blizzard, Abominable, Shattering Force, Fractured Ice, Bellowing Cry, Deep Freeze
Immovable Object A defense without equal, the fortitude to stand against any force. ° +100% Maximum Health ° The User applies 25% of their Mitigation Effects regardless of Piercing Effects ° Mitigation Effects apply an additional time regardless of use restrictions

The user's ability to augment attacks cannot be hindered by any effect. -- User's Armor applies at 25% efficiency against all effects, regardless of ignoring, unavoidable, or bypassing effects. If an attack is reduced to 0 Damage, it has no effect on the user.
[Murian Dominance] A technologically advanced civilization, even when compared to today's access to technology, the Murians created technological wonders that are difficult to replicate. Their divine artifacts are without equal, and no one can know their power without truly being able to hold it as their own. -- Except by other entities with this skill, effects from the user's attacks cannot be copied or imbued. [Great Embargo] – Unique Gamma Wave An engine of war that stymies all others. -- Enemies cannot benefit from any mid-battle triggered effects or passive triggered increases.
[The Murian Adaptor Wave] The Murian Lookout's Adaptor Wave enables it to take advantage of any terrain type, making it the ultimate combatant as it can take advantage from the skies above and the ground below. -- User always gains positive benefits from panels, and benefits from all panel effects twice as much. -- The user can maintain one set of panel effects even after the panels have been changed, regardless of original panel duration. These panel effects only positively affect the user while stored in this way, allowing the user to positively benefit from up to two types of panels at once. -- If the Panels are Normal: +2 Attack Slots, +200 Damage, +100 Armor.

Their divine artifacts are without equal, and no one can know their power without truly being able to hold it as their own. -- Except by other entities with this skill, effects from the user's attacks cannot be copied or imbued. Skills copied from the user are always graded one tier higher for uses and scaling, and lose any custom properties. -- The user's effects that scale based on Version are 50% more potent.

The force within them intensifies in an outward manifestation, turning the wave form's body gold. -- Advanced Form. Can be activated at any time. Can coexist with other advanced forms. -- 2x Base Damage, Attack Slots, Armor, and Regen. +4 Uses to all Skills, bypassing Use Limits. All avoidances are raised to Omni-Avoidances. Can choose and double the effects of each of one Attack, Skill, and other Advanced Form. -- Attacks requiring 2 or fewer charges can be released as they finish charging. -- One Attack requiring 3 or more charges can be released once without requiring charge while this Advanced Form is active. -- Immediately cuts Max-HP by half and disables all Undershirt and Survival Effects. Cut Max-HP by an additional 10% each turn. Can disable at any time. Only active once, regardless of all other effects.
[Supply Line] The Condor Geograph releases a large collection of green crystals from its hull, the small crystals bursting with stored energy when destroyed to supply its onslaught. -- 500-HP Object. Grants Condor Geograph +1 Skill Use to any other skill and +1 Immediate Charge when destroyed, bypassing use limitations. Intercepting. --- 10 Uses per battle.
Used ten times. All destroyed by Blazer.
[Protective Creator] The Condor Geograph has a special care for its creations, if only because it is using them to protect its charge. -- All of Condor Geograph’s HP-Creations have 6 Endures and an Undershirt.
[Energy Field] A coruscating field of green energy surrounds the Condor Geograph, pulled from the very grounds beneath it, and can be solidified at a moment's notice to grant it power. -- 2,610 HP Barrier. -- If on panels that the enemy set: Becomes Uncuttable. -- Gains the Elemental Strengths of the current panel element. --- 14 Uses per battle.
Used five times.
- Plesio loses: Everything, guy's Executed. Blown back like he was in the past.
- Phantom loses: Battlefield Presence, Tactical Dominance, Battlefield Resurgence, Decisive Blow, Deadly Guidance, and Phantom Illusion.
[Tactical Elusiveness] – Unique Gamma Wave An engine of war that precedes any other. -- User moves first in initiative, regardless of all other effects. No other entity benefits from any first turn of battle effects. -- All first turn of battle effects are twice as potent.
[Gold Standard] The power of the Murian Wave Generator, intensified in time of need to accumulate massive stores of power.

Always spawned around all allies when used. Can be used multiple times in a row to increase HP by 50%. Counts as Phantom Black’s avoidance for all relevant effects. --- 18 uses/Battle.
Used five times.
[The Murian Mind Wave] The Murian Tactician's Mind Wave enables it with the ability to merge living shadow with imagery, pulling on the delicate strings within the minds of those it haunts to make their greatest fears and potentially even their wildest dreams a reality. -- Once every three turns, an avoidance of choice can be used for free. This avoidance avoids four attacks, counts for all required avoidances of those attacks, and can be used to avoid an attack that it otherwise could not avoid. -- The user may create Figments. Figments are either status effects or summons without health and one attack slot, but can be directed to attack by expending multiple attack slots (if they attack). Figments come in a myriad of forms. Effects generated by Figments can only be circumvented by active sources – active healing to heal damage, active avoidances, active mitigations, etc; but all active sources are twice as effective against them. Figments can only be interacted with by the target that it was created for. --- Lone Figment: The target becomes Isolated, unable to benefit from any effects generated by allies or reliant on them. An ally that spends a full action of combat can allow Isolated targets to benefit from effects generated by or reliant on their specific effects; each ally needs to do this individually. --- Allied Figment: The target gains a bonded ally. This ally must be protected, and can always be intercepted for – any damage dealt to the figment is unavoidably dealt to the target. This figment dissipates at the end of any turn it takes damage. Can also force the target to defend an enemy, instead. --- Enemy Figment: The target gains a forced enemy. This enemy must be defeated – no other enemies can be targeted while such a figment exists. Its attacks deal 10% of the target’s maximum health, but can be charged to benefit from charge multipliers. It must be dealt 20% of the target’s maximum health in damage to be defeated. Can also force an ally to attack the target for half of its attacks the next turn, instead. --- Attack Figment: The user replicates the effects of a single attack in any combatant’s arsenal against the target. --- 8 Uses/Battle. Used for free on first turn, for all enemies. All subsequent uses require the user to sacrifice their offensive turn
Used twice per freely for Xion, Feint, and Burai. Burai = Allied Figment, target forced to defend Yeti Blizzard, Plesio Surf, Condor Geograph, and Phantom Black several times over. Feint = Attack Figment Xion = Enemy Figment
Skills copied from the user are always graded one tier higher for uses and scaling, and lose any custom properties. -- The user's effects that scale based on Version are 50% more potent.

If Hits: Destroys the Missile bird. The Missile Bird is unaffected by attacks during the defensive phase following this attack, but can only use this attack. -- Half of the Missile Birds spawned each turn begin using this attack and consistently use it.
[Persistent Bird] The Murian Lookout's precious payload launches down onto the battlefield, generating a burst of speed that lets it slice through enemies and make a return attack. -- 8,810 Damage. -- If Hits: Successive hits cannot be mitigated below an additive 10% of their total damage per hit. -- Fully Undodgeable, Cuts Auras -- By sacrificing an attack slot to attack the Missile Bird during the defensive phase, an opponent can avoid this attack by using an attack that deals more damage than this one. A significant number was removed by the species-ending attack, but plenty still remained to be accounted for.
" Well I won't stand by and do nothing. "
Burai seemed fully capable of handling this himself, and even Xion sounded convinced of that. Given that all three of them were under assault though, and she herself could only take so much, it behooved her to contribute to the genocide so that there'd be less receiving on her end.
Of the three here, she was certainly the least stacked -- Burai had his four artifacts that empowered him with the strength of the fallen tribes, as well as Laplace who essentially harnessed divinity from what she was able to gather during their fights thus far. Unbeknownst to her, but valid all the same, Xion wielded within him the power of a Titan and the embodiment of darkness itself. Navis of his caliber, in general, were among those blessed with coveted 'Giga Programs' or hidden elements of nature that surpassed the basic ones that Feint was limited to. Even Crests of accomplishments invited one's power to reach new heights, such as the Champion's Proof she had seen Warrior flaunting despite her brother being the one that had earned it, yet Feint was void of any of these significant accolades as well.
There was no special augment in any way applied to her, except for the faintly visible crest of Mu across her chest -- a mockery of Burai's EM abilities that her suit emulated as a means to fend off these enemies during her first encounters. The imitated barrier was already fully regenerated after preventing the falling meteor; Feint could feel its presence around her again.
But before it provided any boon to her in the coming waves of enemies, she swept her arm across her chest as if wiping something off -- the Crest of Mu completely gone and its protective barrier along with it.
" I can do better. "
A statement to herself, to Burai who essentially carried her weight all the way here, and to the Leviathan Tribe Remnant that still lingered from her encounter with its enchanted spear.
Any single unit of the three-hundred against her was enough to defeat even a group of the Cyber World's finest; with all of their special augments, though, they could stand toe-to-toe. Without those? Most would fall to the wayside. They were reliant on their privileged acquisitions, and so they sought more and more to cover their innate weakness -- from her standpoint of conceit, this was how Feint viewed all Net Navis or powerseekers in general.
Yet her own reliance on the Murian traits that her suit had adopted would mean that she was weak too -- her previous encounters with these EM Beings certainly reinforced that fact.
But now, against three-hundred of these "super bosses" and no protection from her allies to fall back on, she had more than sufficient an excuse to rely on those selfsame privileged acquisitions she had garnered; to be without any in this scenario was far beyond despair.
" ... "
This was her proof to herself, then: forsake the taste of otherworldly power given to her and challenge despair with only her own strength. This feat would stand as testament that she would never be one to rely on unnatural power, even if she were to attain more. Despite Burai and Xion likely being those that would make the greatest impact here, Feint would carry her own weight this time and every time going forward.
As the attacks came -- the literal avalanche from the Yetis, the myriad missiles from the Condors, the typhoon of darkness from the Phantoms -- Feint braced for impact and allowed each blow to slam against her at its full force, as if challenging the notion that any could bring her to her knees. Her suit had adapted in more ways than just mimicking the Murian Rejection Barrier; it had learned to absorb the energy of attacks made by EM Beings and manipulate it just as it had always done in the Cyber World -- surging and expunging on Feint's command at strategic intervals so that the force of one blow could be used as a counter-force against another.
Very quickly, the excess energy from these unequal exchanges would accumulate into a vibrant swirling aura around her that further protected her from harm and bolstered her parameters, increasing her speed and strength by hundreds more than had been witnessed thus far. The strain of wrestling control wasn't overwhelming her like it had been during her first fight with the Condor -- she was well accustomed to the excessive power by now.
When all was said and done, she was still standing, and quite comfortably at that.
The power of three hundred Wave Warriors now coursed her body as a geyser of violet waves, and while it may not have been enough to put all three-hundred of them down, it could certainly cut their number down by a significant amount.
With a mighty punch downward -- one might even say a bit dramatic -- the accumulated energy dispersed immediately; scattering from her body the moment her fist met the ground and within that very same moment plunging through every Guardian that stood against them and even through the walls of the temple, threatening desecration and desolation in one breathe to all but the two that accompanied her.
It wasn't much compared to a civilization buster, but it was certainly a step up from her performance thus far, there was no doubt about that.

Usually, whenever the Genocide Blazer connected with something, it started anew, which create an intense plume of fire from the ashes that caused the conflagration to spread. The waves emitted by the one hundred Condors, however, prevented this, as did they also prevent the powerful flames from reaching their apex and descending as the Extinction Meteor.
Xion and Feint did nothing but hold their ground against his onslaught, as the extinction-level event slew the army's Servants. The blinding gold that followed was distracting, for sure, but the waves of attacks that followed - those were the concerns.
Attacked and threatened from all sides, Burai knelt and planted the Laplace blade before him, as Feint had seen him do only once before. Channeling the incredible power of his isolation, the Murian Rejection Barrier grew from a single disc to an unyielding dome that surrounded him. Within the dome, Burai modified his frequency, and when the onslaught ended, whatever hadn't been stopped by the Barrier had simply phased through him. Even the Phantom Black's attempts to fog Burai's mind with a figment, Burai fended off the attempt - Phantom Black showed him an illusion of an ally, and no matter what situation Burai was in, he didn't have an ally that he cared about.
Raising laplace from the ground, Burai lifted himself up and stared about at the remaining heralds. Many of them were likely destroyed by what remained of their brethren's own inability to restrain themselves, in much the same way that the Murian Tribes wiped themselves out so long ago. In preparation for whatever would come next, Burai tapped into another power, as the cinders that smoldered as they whirled around him shifted into leaves turned yellow and brown from autumn. Carried on the wind that breezed past him, a mighty tornado of leaves sprung into motion. When the gale of wind and leaves finally subsided, Burai was left standing with another change.
The color scheme of black, grey, purple, and crimson was unchanged. His pauldrons had shrunk down to a more reasonable size to accommodate his new power, and the Saurian Meteor mounted on his fiery hand now funneled with two powers at once: An unending inferno of vermillion, and a tempest of grey. The large fins on his back grew into two large crimson spikes. The large golden crests of the Saurian Meteor were replaced by a shining silver, with what looked like a metal ninja star mounted just between the ridges. The powerful heat radiated by his body was further accentuated by the constant gale that surrounded him.
Burai stood in the glory of the Double Tribe, the merged might of the Saurian Shinobi, and held Laplace aloft. He waited to see who would survive the renewed onslaught from Feint and Xion, and prepared his own assault for whoever remained.
[Burai HP=10,900/10,900]
Set Phase:
[Wave Predictor] His visor detects ambient energy flowing from his enemies and displays information about EM Energy present in his surroundings. By tracking the flow of energy, this allows him to predict an opponent’s movement. In this world, he must first flood some of his own energy into an opponent to force them to emit EM energy as they move. - Each full avoidable attack that hits a target grants the attack +1 Hit, until the attack misses. This can apply to Avoid Separately. - When avoiding the same attack in a turn, each sacrificed Attack Slot allows him to evade one additional instance of that attack.
[Frequency Shift] Accustomed to his wave form, Burai is capable of modulating his frequency in order to become intangible, even to other beings like him. Using this control, he can move through attacks, defenses, and even modulate his frequency to escape restraints or move through physical barriers. - Burai may sacrifice one attack slot to Triune Avoid one attack aimed against him. Burai may sacrifice three attack slots to instead Fully Avoid one attack aimed against him. - Burai is immune to any effect that would reduce his damage, attack slots, or impact his ability to avoid. - Burai may modify the aimers of any C-Range attack on use, and, if he uses fewer than half of his total attack slots for unique attacks, any aimers become omni-aimers for the turn. - Burai can designate a single type of HP-Entity that he bypasses entirely when attacking enemies. Auras selected. Auras cannot be used to defend against Burai's C-Range attacks.
Defense Phase:
5,325-Power Ethereal Veil. 15 Attack Slots cannot be used to attack. 20 full attacks negated via Mu Rejection Barrier and Indie Isolation.
[Evil Claw] - Burai is immune to Counter Damage. No effect. [Allied Figment] - Burai doesn't care about allies, ever, even fake ones.
[Mu Rejection Barrier] Even without his Isolation Darkness in full effect, Burai has an invisible EM Wave Barrier that blocks attacks that would otherwise injure him. Seemingly with a mind of its own, this transparent, circular disc appears before him as his ultimate defense mechanism. While his defense mechanism is up, aiming attacks directly at him seems to jam and disrupt a navi’s targeting systems, making attacks fly off without hitting their mark. - The Mu Rejection Barrier negates one full attack made against him each turn. - This number increases per attack slot sacrificed to use an attack with avoid separately across multiple slots, and per attack slot not used to attack at all. Each attack slot used to release a unique attack decreases this number. - If Burai has any negates left with this barrier during a turn, he automatically ignores any C-Range Attack, as well as any attack modified by active skills, without losing negates from the barrier.
Most of the attacks are modified by skills. He eats all of those. The Barrier is relentless. None of them actually charged those Hypers (the cheaters) and so they can't bypass it.
[Phantom Slash] - Burai is immune to effects that would impact his ability to avoid, including Condor's Wave that would prevent him from gaining additional Mid-Battle avoids, and the thing requiring additional avoidances. 1 - 15 automatically negated by Murian Rejection Barrier. 12 Attack Slots sacrificed to avoid 78 more. 12 Attack Slots sacrificed allow him to negate 12 more. 105 out of 100 avoided.
Burai counters at the Phantoms for 605 Unavoidable Damage.
Support Phase:
Burai Inflicts 12% of all enemy's maximum HP as unavoidable damage against the Murian Army. This reduces Max HP.
[OOPArt - Shinobi Star] The ancient artifact of the Shinobi Tribe, this small stone shuriken looks at first glance like an old relic. While appearing as a simple metal to the untrained eye, it radiates with intense wave energy, and when supplied with another's power it courses with the force of a powerful typhoon, and grants the alacrity of the Ninja tribe to its wielder. -- User gains the benefits from Wood Lv5 as an additional Primary Element. -- Avoidances can be expended together to stack their total number of avoidances and avoidance types. User counters for 300 Unavoidable Damage after every avoidance. -- User's Wood-Element Attacks release two auto-attacks that deal damage equal to their Base Damage Calculation Increases +20%. -- Optionally Charged Attacks gain 1 Aimer per avoidance used while they were charging. If charged for four or more turns, these attacks can have up to three aimers. -- Enables Shuriken Storm, Shinobi's Muramasa, Gale Dance, and Demon Flurry.

*Unsurprisingly he would be in the line of fire from the army, but he hadn't felt threatened from the beginning for this, keeping his eyes on Feint instead even as the offensive was going to make its way for him. Like before it was going to swell up in response, but instead he willed it to do otherwise. He had no reason to display anything more here against what didn't even amount as the appetizer for this particular round, so instead he was more interested in how she was going to deal with it after she had come this far. And as he braced himself for standing at the ground zero he held back while observing, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly to show his own amusement at the overall outcome that had come forth as a result of the attack upon them.*
"That's good. I would be disappointed if the humans of today were inferior to the byproducts of the humans of the past. The past is something to be looked back upon, but is never something that you live in. So you should never lose to forgotten relics like this."
*She said so herself. She could do better than what they had thrown at her. And she should be able to do so. If they were any less than that it would mean that they made absolutely zero progress in all the years that passed. No matter how great something once was, those who came after were to inherit and exceed what came before. Likewise, he had no reason to lose to them either, but also to not go to the same lengths that Feint had shown herself capable of in the face of adversity. He only wished her counterattack had been a bit more forceful to their surroundings, but it was still adequate all said and done. That wasn't her fault as much as it was the fault of the Wave Warriors who lashed out against her. Now then... given their display so far, he would have to respond in kind.*
"...But there's a limit to insults."
*Did they think it was amusing to have a repeat of history here? Beside him was a black mirror that had risen beside him, and from it spawned its own army to outnumber even the ones that were before them now. It was bothersome to do so with the weight of the isolation in tow if these were more than just tools at his disposal that he'd disperse with in due order. But while they were equally weighed down by the isolation, there was still something that they could do as he held out his hand as absorbed the destructive energy of the aftermath, patching himself up as though he were never touched to begin with before a storm of lasers was unleashed with relentless power that wasn't their own original laser, but one that was afforded to them due to their now changed nature, namely at the condors and jesters that likely remained. They wouldn't amount to much on the Yetis should they still be around from the repeat of the Murian Tribes. He still stuck to his word that he had given previously, albeit rather indirectly due to his annoyance with this subject matter.*
Defense Phase:
Undershirt activated.
- Set Phase:

Effects: All Viruses that enter the battle are immediately controlled by Xion. - Whenever an opponent's Clone dies, Xion gains a clone of their owner as though he had used Dark Mirror. Clones created in this manner have no negative effects for being allied with Xion. If a survival effect was activated this turn, this effect is not counted as a triggered effect.
3,000 1 HP Condor Geographs created.
Ultimate Evil Type: Passive Support Description: There is no being on the net darker, no force more maligned. Nebula Grey IS darkness embodied, and the entirety of his existence represents this. Doesn't take a use from the DC). If possible, it must attack the original. Clones share CD as normal with their original. - One DarkMirror may be active at a time. It can't be used to intercept attacks. It can't be reduced below [1] HP or destroyed until it creates at least one clone of each enemy. Xion can't use non-auto-attacks on the turn it is created. Not unlike the precursor to ruin of the time past had they done their own brand of self-destruction. For the ones who could have possibly made it through were caught by the onslaught of desolation unleashed by Feint and the precise laser circuit from the mirrored Condors set loose. But with no time to consider anything about what happened here, the pressure from the floor above them became all too apparent. It wasn't from a singular entity, but several. It was something Burai would be quite familiar with while foreign to Feint and Xion alike, and yet they could almost hear the chuckle from the voice on high already. What awaited them above and not even at the top would be coming face to face with divinity itself... the very visions shown that extinguished so much life in their wake before.
Battle Rewards:
Feint or Xion 1 Element Overcap

Burai paused, holding Laplace aloft, as he watched the newcomer's might unfold. The mirror he spawned, the twisted shadows of the army he summoned, and the amassed power he wielded - he had yet to see anything with such strength from this world itself, as he presumed the others were from a world beyond. To witness such strength, he could only assume that Xion was at the height of what the most basic members of this world could accomplish, in much the same way that certain members of his world were limited simply by their age and use of design.
The chittering whispers of a being beyond malevolent tried to rise itself up within him again. Burai pushed her voice down, focusing on what would come ahead. He was not lost to the irony nor the message being delivered here, as he was once again forced to reenact the Precursor to Ruin. This time, he wasn't the only one left standing. He couldn't allow himself to linger on this for too long, although he did allow himself just a moment to glance back at Xion.
. . . "They're not forgotten relics, you know. Immortalis made it clear what he did to the sole survivor of this world's Ruination. The Murian People . . . they deserved more than this. Their pride was well earned, but it was their downfall, for it was not a collective pride. It was selfish. That caused them to lose sight . . . "
Burai trailed off, taking a deep breath. He wasn't here to change opinions. He was here to avenge the wrongs of the Murian people that no longer had anyone to stand for them, and to do what he must to make that point made.
It wasn't until after the breath meant to calm him down that he felt the pressure from the floor above. The cackling laughter of Immortalis from on high sent an icy chill down his neck, for the reality of what Immortalis and those that worked with him had accomplished was suddenly truly dawning on him.
In all of the alternate realities, the Great Being rained down judgment upon the world and created a deity to deliver its justice only after they succumbed to their own Precursor to Ruin. Without the power to remain unified, they were divided, and their individual strength proved moot before the power of the Murian Divinities.
The pressure he felt, the power that he detected, it was accentuated by his own knowledge of what that power felt like. The world ending pressure that the likes of Apollon Flame possessed, and the might to enslave all that remained in preparation for the next. Burai was no fool to be unable to accept the facts - he was not stronger than any one of them alone, but had the tact and skill to surpass them given time.
The pressure he felt could only mean one thing - Immortalis enslaved the Great Being. Then, he enslaved Her children - the Murian deities. He could sense their power from here, and knew of the dangers that came with standing against any of them alone. He stared up the stairs from where they stood, grinding his teeth, but found himself suddenly calm.
The weight of the situation did not change his decision. He would push forward and fight at all costs - to not would be to abandon everything he believed in, and just as Immortalis could not submit to the will of someone lesser than he, Burai could not abandon the only thing he had left. He turned to Xion and Feint, steeling himself for what would come next. "The first floor holds the Murian history and relics. The second floor holds the Stasis Chamber - the room is dominated by a massive glass receptacle where spare copies of the Heralds - Condor, Yeti, Phantom, and Plesio - are held. I would guess that the receptacles are empty, all things concerned.
"That will not be our issue. I know the power that radiates from that floor. Feint may remember it, too. The collection of the Murian Divinities - the powers that the Great Being descended upon a world after its people had abandoned one another, to ensure that the calamity of the Murian people would never occur again - is collected up there. . . . " Burai paused, and turned to look back up the arcway into the stairway. "Any one of them would have the strength to obliterate any number of - what are you called? - Navis risen against them.
"That is what we're up against. I'm going forward."
The majority of his words were just for the sake of making sure they knew what they were going into, and so that they could prepare for what was next. Still channeling the power of the two OOPArts he had called, Burai walked up the staircase and into the first arcway. As Xion and Feint followed behind him, they would notice that, despite not going up any incline, they came back out the end of the corridor onto a raised dias some twenty feet above the first floor. Burai didn't pause on the platform, and continued onward past the statues into the Stasis Chamber beyond, which was just as convoluted as the room before it.
The crisscrossing wave roads and platforms on either side were instead bisected by a massive, thick glass container that acted as the floor for this room. Just as Burai had predicted, it was empty, all of the Heralds within unleashed. Burai waited to see just what numbers had gathered against them, getting into his combat stance and holding Laplace at the ready.

*He knew that Burai had yet to get started in the fight, which was a good thing in all honesty. The worst was yet to come and they would need as much as they could for surprises against these foes. He was already at a disadvantage from what Immortalis had said initially: he was done using him. They were confident they knew everything that he could do... but there was something amiss about that statement. Before he could address that though, he knew that he should elaborate on what he had said before.*
"Don't get me wrong, I don't mean any disrespect. Our times are simply different. In yours, Navis are the forgotten relics, right? Our advancement came to an end and your advancement, not necessarily Murian advancement rather, flourished. You shouldn't fall behind our kind in your world at all. I simply share that belief with my world. For the ones left behind, we move on in their stead. We should never fall behind the other because it's an insult to their halted progress. Sure it's prideful and pride in excess becomes hubris and downfalls alike, but being prideless is far worse. To Immortalis the fallen here are little more than toys to tinker with in his free time, of which there's only one way to make amends for this."
*He would keep the rest to himself on this. A common between both of them would be the humans who would carry on that progress. He could save that inspirational juice for if their Sponge here needed a boost in her confidence. He imagined she needed none from her display just now fueling that all on its own. But from the laughter he could tell that this fight ended about as well as their enemies expected. He didn't have a full idea of the issue before them, but he did know that it was going to be unlike anything their world had faced before beyond a shadow of a doubt. Rather than keep the power he had called up, he dismissed the mirror at the time. No doubt they would be detrimental to the next fight rather than helpful as he listened intently to what Burai had to say. The first floor was to honor all that they managed to obtain while the second was to show their work. The second was absolutely empty at this point so that was fine, but the Murian Divinities sounded like they belonged in the same weight class as the Great Being. They certainly had their work cut out for them.*
"A whole slew of planet busting menaces, hm? Fantastic..."
*Just one was enough with that obnoxious meteor that floated not far enough from their world. Now they had plenty that weren't even a step away from enacting the very same on an oblivious and ignorant people. Well at least it couldn't be called reckless to go waltzing into this situation. Foolish possibly, but not at all reckless. Because if they could destroy any number of them, he had to make it his job to see them done in here and now. They could turn that very same force on both ends of their world and leave it desolate, which was not an option for him. And as he followed along, he wanted to make something clear as well once again.*
"Immortalis may have said he was done with you, but he hasn't seen everything just yet. The sole survivor of this world's Ruination was lacking something that you possess. We can worry about that after surviving, and winning, against the Divinities with not just any number of us. With just the ones here."
*Because he knew where it was just as well as Burai did. He doubted they returned it to that place after they were finished with it. They might have managed to obtain an idea of it through alternative means, but how they would face against the real deal would be determined. Even if he understood the odds to go into the fight expecting to lose would be absurd to him. So instead he planned to win, because it was that or oblivion on the other side of that argument. And if he was going down it would absolutely still be with guns blazing. He'd have to form the plan after being on the receiving end for a bit then.*

#s://i~imgur~com/8w4a7DV~png There was dissatisfaction in her eyes at how it all turned out. While Feint herself was quite depleted after the ordeal, Xion seemed to have spent virtually nothing on it, and Burai spent literally nothing as he wasn't even fully warmed up yet. Even if had she utilized the Isolation Fragments, the results wouldn't have been much different.
" ... "
It wasn't fair that they could exert so little and reap so much -- and it wasn't even their own strength or skill that enabled them to do it. It was as if they'd leeched so much power through unnatural means that they'd forgotten what it was like to even lift a finger.
Her own self-destructive pride demanded that she purge herself of such envy, and through a deranged thought process involving correlation and causation, it now told her that the Isolation Fragments were a threat to her identity. If her victories could be afforded only by the power they provided -- even if that only seemed to be the case during times that it wasn't -- then she wasn't strong, she was lucky. The very same way she viewed Xion and Burai right now.
~*Crack!*~
Her grip on the Isolation Fragments in her hand threatened to snap them apart, permanently cleansing herself of their taint if she'd only squeeze a little tighter.
" ... "
But with a long exhale and before any irreparable damage was made to the Fragments, she released her tension on them instead.
The reality was that her biased judgement against the two was equally unfair; there was nothing saying that the power they exerted came only from their augments and not from themselves. Her prejudiced jealousy rushed to the logic that she was surely superior to them in an unaugmented state, and that if she had those augments then she could have surely done better, but it was high time to put that pride down in light of what was ahead. There was no reason to still be trying to prove herself when she was already accepted company in a challenge against divinity.
They fought the same way she did, just with different tools: she concealed her greatest strengths by removing them temporarily so that the divinities above that watched would have less to gauge her by. Xion and Burai expended the least required effort to show the smallest portion of their hand as well, so that their greatest strengths would also be veiled before the observers at the peak of their climb.
Satisfied with that resolve, Feint released her rejection of the Isolation Fragments and allowed the Crest of Mu to take its place over her chest once again. There was enough stacked against them now that she didn't need to add her arrogance to it; the pride of the ancient Murians was proof enough of that. Selfish pride may have been her own downfall were she not fortunate to have witnessed all of this.
Taking up the rear, then, she followed the other two onward to trespass into the realm of the divine, and with a bit less prejudice toward each of them for good measure as well.
