Sir! The entourage fall back after their brief entry to the fray to a safe perimeter outside of the roaring fight but within earshot of their master.
Apathy is a terrible emotion. Yet it's one of the few remaining ones that this brand of being is allowed to emit. While housing a level-headed intelligence rivaling that of some notable net scientists. This entity had no strong desire to survive. No force of will to refute commands given to it; having only the drive to learn, and return. Gathering piece after piece from alien technology to fragments of darkness. All for a singular goal: Return. After all, that was it's ultimate purpose since creation.
Even before the overwhelming force of the Dark Joker's attacks the shockwave of Dark Warrior's attack overtakes the artists form. In the wake it stands with hundreds of cracks in its frame. Various portions of its core and ligaments missing. Revealing a somewhat liquid texture surrounding but not covering the wounds.
...
Expressionless it stares blankly forward at the fray... and falls apart. Unlike the traditional deletion method, or the style overtaking the Net at large now. No bits or bytes rise from its corpse. Just a few unceremonious *plop*ing sounds as it collapses into a small heap.

Lalonia hopped backwards, her barrier appearing and protecting her from the fake. She then tucked and rolled twice to avoid the mass area coverage from Mirror Joker.
"This is quite a funny predicament. A fake fighting another fake."
She summoned bubbles of pink magic, tossing one to both Xion and Warrior.
"Let me top you guys off!"

[smear:87e4e6]In response to those who stood against him, an unearthly scream bellowed forth in return. A dismal, utterly suffering sound incomparable to any other to be heard. Reality itself warped as everything seemed to be brought into himself as the air and supreme darkness of the being pushed back against the offense of those that opposed. Darkness welled during Nebula Grey's abeyance, swelled and began to overflow upon the battlefield, the sign that his own offense was to begin. The whole of the dark one's body was launched into a single super-massive charge that obliterates the battlefield and scatters all, the offensive, pure power prefacing the assault with naught but power, rage, darkness and despair in an attempt to engulf them all in an instant.

Warrior covered his ears for the scream, but Joker nullified it for now. Warrior wasn't unfamiliar with the notion of bending time to prevent undesired futures, but this procedure was a bit different. Fortunately, the dark copies were still blown away during it all.
Weapon still in hand, he held his sword skyward again: this time channeling residual data from all of the blows that had been swung thus far into the cavity of the blade, making his intents for more clear than they were before.

He turned his head to look to the others, but couldn't turn too far lest he lose sight of his enemy as he called back to them.

*Well that was an unsettling scream to say the least. Was enough to make one's blood curdle with how oppressive it was. In his case he was an oddball: it was invigorating for him to hear that it still was up this far. And while Slypner crumbled down, he got an idea that he didn't have before this. No time to worry about that or the loss though, now came dealing with the present as in response to the scream did his darkness well up again. The oncoming charge was going to be met with his own, but Joker dealt with it instead. In that case, he'd plow right through to the heart of the matter. The swirling power he used before engulfed him akin to a sphere of crimson and black, taking the idea from the Ultimate Darkness Program for his own in this case. He'd give thanks for the assist from Lalonia and get to it then.*
"Thanks. I'll go for a grand entrance to the stage then."
*He launched upward first, the power welling up within the sphere as lightning surged forth from its very core before it came plummeting down and engulfing the domain in its destructive force. He wasn't worried about them throwing their weight around given the very nature of the colony itself keeping it secure from their destructive tendencies. And if he wanted to plow clean through that defense it showed, he'd make sure he did so and then some in order to drive it into further depths. Where the true battle would start would be once it was driven into the very darkness it embodied, after all. He wouldn't bother giving a warning, as it wasn't exactly a guarantee it would be happening next. If it was, well, they would have about a thousand ways to have to deal with what was on the horizon.*

Even before the screech, space seemed to phase out in front of Joker. He glimpsed past this horizon and into a million others, the whirlwind of power around him peeling away space to reveal the possibilities.
Put bluntly, they looked pretty bleak. Holding up his hand, he solidified a different reality through sheer will alone, slowly pulling his fingers towards his palm like he was crushing something within his grasp. As his fingers closed, the very space around the whirling mass of darkness wrenched up by Nebula Grey closed, as Joker forced this reality to reject its existence. It wouldn't be gone forever, but at least for now it wasn't their problem to deal with.
Joker rinsed and repeat his strategy of choice, preparing more power within himself as he waited for time to bend to his whims again. He smashed his fist into the ground as yet more buildings fell from the air, his strategy simple but nonetheless effective.

Much like Xion, Hollow felt emboldened by Nebula Grey's ear piercing screech. It was a sign that their offensive was working; even if his had yet to fully show its might, he would continue to prepare what was his greatest show of power.

What a feral scream. Even though he covered his ears, Merrill could feel the sound vibration reverberate in his body. But whatever skill Joker had, seemed to stop the actual attack for the moment. Everyone else seemed to have taken advantage of this, so he would too. He cautiously sent out several attacks, testing the waters. He still continued to build up energy and a couple of safety measures as well.

[smear:87e4e6]The defense that returned wasn't enough in the face of the oncoming assault, as their wave of attacks came forth. From Xion's overbearing darkness, Joker's ruthless strategy, Lalonia's slowing waves, and Merrill's cautious approach. And in return for their defiance would come to a head as the one steeped in darkness seemed to go into the very abyss beneath it... as what came forth was an atrocious hand. Time and time again did talon upon talon rise up, aiming to swipe and choke the life out of everyone caught in its path.

*Looked like he landed a home-run on the big old guy, rising up from the darkness as it began to recede. It was here that he knew the ones experienced with Nebula Grey, himself and Warrior mostly, were exactly dreading since the start. They were prepared personally, but unsure if the others would be the same. In the rise of its darkest depths, it would blot out all other darkness but its own while surmounting them with a death that was beyond reproach. At least, that was how it was the first time. Once the card was shown, that was when methods could be created to oppose the madness, like they were prepared to do now. The tone in his voice changed, nothing but seriousness heard within it.*
"Warrior, cover whoever needs it. Everyone else, etch this into your memory. Remember that even something like this won't cause the enemies after this one to buckle. But remember: you yourselves did not buckle as well. This is just the first step."
*For the first time the power that Joker analyzed within Xion began to rear its head externally rather than internally, as despite the darkness that sought to swallow it whole... his resisted. His efforts prior to this was rewarded with what he had mentioned to Serenade himself back then. He was fine using what he always had, and in a way it was his own. But he wouldn't be able to reach his goal if what he had was always merely just a piece of that one whole. If what he had could always be denied by a few simple things. He wasn't someone who believed in solely 'absolutes'. Your limit was what you made of it, where you chose to stop elevating yourself. And there were any number of ways to continue moving on from there so long as the will was present.*
*Such was what drove him to this pivotal day, where he would move forward instead of kneel before Regal's antique. And with an uncharacteristic bellow did that power well and propel him forward like a silver flame, the lightspeed strike blazing straight into the flawless abyss. And there it would erupt as both the funeral pyre for Nebula Grey, and the blaze of conquest for the rest who opposed him.*

Warrior bit his lip as the monstrosity sank into the void beneath it. He was one of the few to have been able to withstand this attack in the past, but with no small amount of help with Remnant. There was an uncertainty whether he would still be able to do so, but it was always easier dealing with something the second time than the first.
He leaped forward just before the multitude of hands erupted from the abyss, threatening the blue-flame that was Nebula Gray's only point of exposure with the charge in his sword. Rather than swinging for the kill though, he brought it down to the ground instead, blowing it apart to expose the dark galaxy-esque base of the creature and to ensure Xion's succeeding strike could not fail: adjusting his approach to compliment his ally's, just as he had foreshadowed from the beginning.
" Finish it off -- I've given all that I can for now. "
He retreated away in perfect synchronization with Xion's lightspeed strike propelling into the void. The hands that had been launched into the sky during it all were now raining down on those that remained, not unlike an array of arrows shrouding the sun.
Taking Xion's advice, Warrior took his place next to Lalonia, one arm holding his sword in front of him like a shield, the other wrapped around her shoulders to tuck her wings in and make her a smaller target as he separated his feet and bent his knees to take a wider stance beside her, making himself as best a shield as he could from the approaching oblivion. He couldn't stop them all from finding her, but held this close, he would be able to break her free of any of the hands that did manage to cling on to her.
" Stand your ground with me. We're just about through this. "
Knowing Merrill's capability, Warrior was certain that he would be able to stand tall to the end. Joker had proven he was able to hold his own as well, if not judging by his reality-bending arts just a moment ago, then judging by his own Dark Soul that Nebula Gray had spawned against them was proof enough. Hollow was the only one left to account for, then, but if he was of Xion's kind and left to fend for himself, he could safely assume that he would end up fine.
As the myriad hands of black flames came raining down, Warrior cut down any drawing near to him before they were able to meet their mark, turning back to cut Lalonia free of any as well during any lapse that he could, and did indeed find himself standing once again by the end of the assault, no less with all the rest still by his side.

The mood seemed to shift as the large blue flame suddenly descended into the well of darkness underneath it. What was left was just a large pyre of darkness, the blackness of the being within incomprehensible and absolute all at once. He could tell that whatever this was, the others that had experienced it before revered it.
Its hand rose up, and with it, a thousand reaching hands flew into the air. The abyssal claws swiped time and time again, but Joker heard their encouragement, and stood strong. The dark claws surely pressured his defensive measures, but, he need not worry - the brunt of their force was all he had to worry about, he himself fine from the actual harm they represented, solidifying reality into one where he persisted despite all odds.
He lacked the killing potential that Warrior or Xion possessed, and so just had to sit back and wait to see what the streaking silver flame Xion wielded was capable of.

Hollow also knew of the darkness that suddenly enshrouded the field, although he experienced it secondhand through his ability to connect with Xion's senses. In many ways, the abyss it exuded was like the void he himself was made of.
It was that force that he, as always, would defer to. No force would be able to stand against its power. No strength was enough to stand against nothingness itself. Holding out his hands, the black spheres orbiting around him as he prepared his magic dissolved into the black barrier of lightning that had protected him before - this time, amplified further by the innate power that he wielded, the innate dominance over the void within.
Hollow's body resonated with an intense energy as his resolve was decided, radiating outward in a burst of raw might as his form changed to a golden trim. The black wall of lightning gained those same golden highlights, each hand crashing against his barrier without effect.

Well, there was a small victory, with Xion clearly landing a powerful blow against Nebula Grey. A good start. But as expected of a being such as Nebula Grey, There was an immediate counter response. Xion was somewhat prepared, already prepared to move. He dodged left and right, readjusting his footing to get around the dark hands that were trying to catch him. He used some of the Life energy he had stored up to defelect some of the hands from above as well. The sheer number of hands was daunting, and yet, he managed to avoid them all that were targeting him. Looking around, seeing that so far, Xion, Warrior, Joker, and Hollow. He was unable to see how Lalonia was doing, but he did see that Warrior had been right there where she had been, so hopefully she would be okay.

[smear:87e4e6]As the gathered group dealt with the oncoming assault each in their own manner, the attack would come tried and true. Warrior's move had opened the path into the abyss that the attacks would then carve into that very abyss, its depths. His efforts would starch one of its final efforts before the darkness was consumed by that which was greater still: those that stood tall against it. As the void was consumed it exploded in a spectacular fashion, bringing with it the conclusion with the being from centuries past in a long time coming.
