The original Creamland Network, perverted and corroded in its entirety into an interdimensional, alien land. Home to the Dark Dimension denizens, invading demons from another dimension. The colony had been moved by Vinyl but unlike the rest of his work that was undone, it was left out of reach because as Xion puts it, Vinyl sucked at his job. Due to a lack of permission to do so on his part, Xion spent some months getting access to it again alongside Slypner. Twisted and sinister as the landscape is, change is on its horizon. Be that as it may the large land has numerous places that changed in accordance with Samhain's curse and is properly fortified as it stands. The place is brutal, as its citizens are unfriendly and aggressive to all who do not match certain criteria.
Cursed Coast - Nightmare Wall
The former national park of the Creamland network that takes up the entire shoreline of the island. Entry here is through small guarded openings in the north and south gates of the island's wall with the shore a mess of various dangerous traps, making visitation a hassle. Nets, mines, and other traps form a barrier a mile away from the network and create a perfect fence around the area save the dock. The shorefront instead has guard outposts set roughly 1/2 a mile apart in a ring around the island. The ocean is stormy and the sand is instead dark rocks. Getting past the coast leads to the Nightmare Wall accessed through one of the two aforementioned openings.
Along the outer wall and just inside is the residential area of the Dark Colony, this area itself existing as a ring around the central Dark City and the two castles at its center. The walls are coated in grime and blood, the wide-open yard is covered in dead grass and what appear to be bones. The apartment-like areas are built into the other wall and other thin, wall-like structures inside with windows to peer out from the wall as if it were a massive building. Inside each apartment are defiled walls and weathered, creaky furniture, all surrounded by thick cobwebs. The large fence around the lawn is covered in razor-sharp barbed wire.
Dark City - Colonial Prison - Castle of the Fallen
The once central network of Creamland's mainframe; a massive, sprawling network designed as a medieval area combined with futurisitc adaptations. Samhain's curse has corrupted the area into a hellish maze of run-down buildings and winding cobblestone streets. The rail tracks are twisted, bent, and broken, the teleporters offline and requiring one to move by foot across the city. The once-clean walls are coated in thick layers of muck, grime, and blood. And the bustling populace of navis has been replaced by the interdimensional colonists, dark, demonic navi-like creatures that have taken the city as their own.
The curse of Samhain has transformed what used to be a factory within the city into a gigantic prison. The bars are rusted but strong, the walls stained in blood, no light but the auburn beams that weakly stream through the grimy windows. The entire prison is staffed with dozens of Dark Dimension soldiers serving as guards with a chief warden standing above them for good measure. The prison has been fortified again and better prepared for outside threats. There exist no threats once one ends up captured within the prison, as those in the prison within the Dark Colony lose all strength and abilities here, rendering them powerless and incapable of escape.
Leading up to one of two castles, the Castle of the Fallen. Once Pride Castle and the seat of government for the country,s net presence, the curse has aged the castle into a run-down yet regal ruin that looks decidedly haunted. The artwork in the lobby has been replaced with portraits of Lord Samhain himself and pictures of unspeakable horrors. The statue of the princess of Creamland that once stood in the castle is shattered, its rubble remaining scattered on the floor. The many twisting staircases, littered with broken or cracked steps, lead up to the central tower, in which all of the rooms are in a similar state of decay and disrepair.
Samhain's Castle
Once there had been a mighty, shining tower here - the headquarters of Green Tempest, the Creamland law enforcement organization, and an affiliate of the ONB. The location of this tower at the center of the island proved an appealing target for Lord Samhain.
Now, where the command center once stood, there is only his hideous castle. Taller than the Green Tempest outpost by far, the castle is built from some unearthly material that seems to be alive, with surfaces that squirm like a mass of insects. It is midnight black, but not opaque; one can see an endless web of veins running underneath the surface. The walls and towers bleed, bottomless sanguine fluid flowing out of gaping, festering sores in the structure's skin.
There are few windows, and those that do exist glow a pale, sickly green as if illuminated by some unholy magic. The sound of screaming echoes out of them, covering the entire surrounding area, amplified by some unseen force. A grand, fleshy archway opens into a courtyard filled with dead, twisted trees and exotic carnivorous plants. On the other end of the courtyard is the door, made of what looks like blackened bone.
The inside of the dark castle is vast and filled with shadows, lit by torches with flames that burn endlessly. The main atrium is filled with grotesque sculptures of figures, many nearly unrecognizable as living things, in states of torment and pain. The walls are adorned with paintings of unspeakable terrors. Ornate chandeliers hang from the arched ceiling.
Numerous spiral staircases lead out and up from this room, into servant's quarters, a kitchen and dining room, several torture chambers outfitted with cages and brutal tools of "advanced interrogation", prison cells, and, at the very top of the highest, central tower, a throne room.
The throne, meant for the governor of the colony, is made of solid gold. The cushion is an odd, purple, fleshy substance of some kind. The room is always staffed by demonic Dark Dimension guard soldiers. It includes its own massive chandelier, which lets off a pale green glow, and a ring of windows around the room from which to survey the entire island. On the opposite end of the room from the throne itself is a pristine mirror in an ornate golden frame, hanging proudly on the wall. In the center of the room sits a podium of black bones, on which rests a thick, leather-bound book - the tome of laws governing the colony. All the pages are blank, save for the first, which reads the original eight laws instated by Samhain before the usurper took his place.
