It would be around this time that the red-eyed stranger would notice a slight movement not far behind Joker. Overshadowed by the behemoth's massive size is the small visage of a Navi in bright yellow and blue armor, looking on past Joker's leg with a curious and somewhat worried expression at the brown-cloaked figure.
Joker turned his attention suddenly to Unity, not realizing that the OS had continued alongside him from Netopia. He had given the OS the chance to stay behind and not follow along on his path, but apparently the OS had taken their little promise to one another more seriously than he first expected. This was fine, as well, as he would still be able to benefit from the OS' presence, not to mention that the OS did still give him that sense of humanity that he sought after, but that was just another parameter to consider when taking this unknown individual into account.
He took his attention off of Unity in order to consider the stranger's words, noting that, apparently, they knew what his plans were. It must make sense, of course, that they would be keeping tabs on him; how they would be doing that, he did not know, but he also did not have any clues to how they were keeping able to threaten his satellite at all, so that was just another mystery to pile onto the lot.
It seems that they also have the intel necessary to know deeper into his personality, based on the comments that this one keeps making about his decisions and words. To say that this trend continues to unseat him would be an understatement, but he did his best to maintain his composure - even if his composure consisted of a resting, devout scowl. If what he wanted to do was what they expected of him, he may have to reconsider exactly how he goes about his next steps. He knows his most recently acquired artifact is capable of amazing feats, but its power belies a connection to the power he now wields within him. If the next thing expected of him is to collect more of that strength, than he must consider their intentions with where he houses that power.
He doesn't have the storehouses within him to exactly outright absorb the satellite, and he also does not yet have the power to justify outright severing his connection to its server entirely, which would be the only way to prevent the satellite from absorbing any small fraction of power he gained. Their intentions with allowing him to move around, then, were purely because it would allow them to continue on their own agenda while allowing him to storehouse power within his satellite.
Without him, they could still do that - it was just slightly easier to let him do it for them. But what could they possibly want with his satellite? He understood it on a fundamental level, and could not imagine it being anything more than completely unstable without him to regulate it and control it. . . maybe they wanted access to its limitless power. He hated the very thought of it, these baser creatures who would use him like this, plotting to use him to turn his satellite into something they could harvest. He still didn't see how exactly he could go about his plan without falling into their trap, but that didn't make it any less dangerous to not storehouse power to fight them with.
What an interesting and intricate web they have woven. He was trapped. He found himself smiling, chuckling, even, before he stood up from his spot on the ground. He steeled himself again.
"Come, Unity. We're returning home for the time being - this endeavor has taken up too much of our valuable time. We'll go for a separate angle."
Without waiting for Unity's response, Joker turned and walked into another black gateway that opened within the fabric of the Net, glancing just beyond it to turn his attention to the cloaked stranger once more. Another face to remember . . .
One who knew their position and able to accept where they stood was quite the place to be. It meant that they had a firm grasp about themselves and what they needed to do or not do. One who was willing to take the proper strides with that knowledge to improve upon themselves was quite the individual. They would actively go about making those changes as they were able to...
"Good luck. And remember to apply wisdom with intelligence as long as you are able."
How amusing it was to consider though, that solidarity was backed completely by... well, it wasn't his place to look at all of that. For now he stood up, moving to disappear elsewhere for the time being.
