Warrior heard the approaching voice as he reached out to claim his own share of the newly spawning mystery data.
“Good evening, my Warrior-san.”
He was already smiling by the time he turned around to respond to the source -- just the sound of the voice and the wording of the phrase alone was all he needed to be able to tell who it was that had greeted him.
" Ah! My Goddess! "
Elsewhere, Feint spontaneously cringed as the universe alerted her to a disturbance within the sacred balance of clever puns and corny puns -- the later seemed to be overtaking the former somewhere, but she herself was too far away from Warrior to know specifically where or what had caused this disturbance.
" I've missed you, Megami. How have you been? "
He put his free hand on her shoulder for a moment as a sort of proxy hug since they were both holding their mystery data in hand. Warrior had been offline for quite a while now, almost an entire year, so he hadn't been in contact with most of his friends during that period.
The last time he had crossed paths with this particular friend was sometime during the fight with Juno, and since then the world had been in a relative state of peace as far as he had been aware. It felt good to be with her again without some looming threat constantly on the front of his mind, and it meant that now they could fully enjoy each other's company with distraction, interference, or influence.
Keksis begins materializing a wooden structure similar to your average Lemonade stand. He places one piece of Festive Mystery Data, leaves a space open as he motions as if he did have one in his hand, then places a third Festive Mystery Data down as he leaves a space open for the fourth one. His plan? To open all of them on Christmas to celebrate himself, since Wendell would be busy celebrating with family. Keksis looked up to notice the second slot empty to his surprise. He looked down, in his pockets, in his Celestial Sphere, and on his Celestial Hammer. He looked back at the tree, where it stood empty awaiting the last delivery.
"... hm. Unfortunate."

"Yes yes. It is I, the champion. But you know me. Trouble has a tendency to follow me around." In a bit of a twist to some, Regis actually took the conversation well with the other Navi, a grin on his face as he answered. Just like last time, it was rather amusing just interacting with her. Part of it likely had everything to do with the holiday spirit, of course.
"You don't sound quite to pleased to see me though!" The swordsman remarked, feigning a wounded tone as he partook in even more of the festivities of free gifts. Speaking of trouble though... Regis noted her actions, and subsequent 'unaction' by what he assumed was a system design, holding back even more laughter. This really was the season to be jolly, wasn't it? And turn out for participants... Though a bit lower than he expected, it was still a number of people.
He wondered, was there more in store for coming events?
The cloaked navi watched as the other two he knew of the group of Navis conversed. It seemed that the swordsman has also had a strange encounter or two with her as he had as well. He didn't feel like interrupting their little conversation, but he did want another of the gifts that were being replenished through the event.
He knelt by the pile of data once again, only this time waiting until the female navi went to go for another data. Rather than grabbing his own, he specifically made to grab the one she was aiming to grab first. He knew it would get under her skin, and the reactions were generally humorous, A win win one could say.
((As of this post, anyone that posted prior to this one may post here claiming another Red MD. Others may still join and claim an RMD as well for the week of Dec 23rd through Jan1st, but they may no longer claim the free one from the week of Dec 16th through Dec 22nd. xoDeathy Keksis still gets a Gold MD even if he missed the 2nd Week's rewards. Another wave of Red Data spawns from underneath the tree; this time the lights on the tree (and all around the park) got a little bit brighter as if to indicate that nothing else would be produced by the tree. And indeed, this appeared to be the last wave of free data to claim. Feint and Nymphra did their civil duties and acquired the prizes, as did Warrior from where he was standing next to Megami still.
Shine was slightly preoccupied to grab hers at first.
"You don't sound quite to pleased to see me though!"
"On the contrary, I'm quite pleased indeed!"
Shine's spiteful scowl was suddenly replaced with a malicious grin; a clear indication that the girl was scheming some manner of mischief.
"You really foiled my plans last time we met, so that means you owe me!"
"Owed her what?", one might ask.
The grinning girl raised her free hand and pointed to Regis' Gold Mysery Data, then motioned at it with an opened-closed-opened-closed hand gesture; the type of gesture a baby would give to non-verbally request its mother's... uh.... nourishment.
"Trade me that, and I guess that will make use even. We'll be bestest-est friends after that! So what do you say?"
Surely she could outsmart "the system" this way!
Shine retracted her hand and reached to claim the newly spawned Red Mystery Data that had landed near here just a moment ago... only to discover it was gone! She turned around immediately to see where her precious prize had wandered off to, only to discover that Rime had taken it.
Her devilish smile never left her face.
"Just my lucky day! Another debt I'm owed!"
Oh yes, they "owed" her a debt indeed. In Rime's case, she attacked him they sparred in a Bamboo Forrest (... that she was probably trying to pilfer in some way/shape/form as well) and she slipped up bad to the point that she ended up getting impaled through the leg from one of his ice spires. Which meant she didn't end up finding any treasure after that exchange either.
The greatest of debts were owed to her for her own mishap!
"You may trade your gold data to me as well... but first I want my red back!"
A dramatic one, this girl was. She was as harmless as they come though, which was probably what made her assertiveness so humorous since she had nothing to really back it up with despite the way she dauntlessly bossed others around.
It was the kind of humor you'd get from watching a chihuahua square up with a pitbull, basically. One might even say it was a disaster waiting to happen.

Take a Moment & Think of Just Flexibility & Love & Trust
As the world had finished cringing, Megami had caught her bearings. Just hearing someone refer to her in such a way brought her delight. Though, the fog that followed after was undeniable! A heaviness on her heart that weighed like a fog that was too deep and vast to penetrate. She knew the way. She knew why it was there, and so she would only force a smile to her face after being aware that her visage weakened for a moment. A hand was tossed over her heart as if she soothed it with the flesh being no barrier to keep her from doing so.
“I am well...as they would say.” Her words borrowed as she had her usual practice. The Goddess was familiar with passive phrases and small-talk, but executed it poorly. “I am joyous to find myself meeting you again...and...seeing this splendor!” The source of such splendor was made obvious as the twinkling and sparkling from the Mystery Data had begun to rain from the sky. As usual, they glistened like stars that were falling among the many navis that were within the small virtual area. Megami would watch as the twins that accompanied her reached out and cuffed the data in a joint effort. She hoped Nu was also enjoying herself, knowing how the gelatinous Navi had a thing for collecting such data.
“Though I am grateful to you for this, Warrior-san!” Megami turned to him gleefully once again. Her fingertips meeting centered upon her chest. “You never seem to be far when the World needs you the most. It is rare that I get to see you when it is calm; when it benefits from the peace that you bring it.” Her eyes coming to a sheepish lull as if the very area around here was a dream. It was one of those dreams that one could not help but to smile subconsciously upon.
“You should be happy, yes?”
She asked curiously. His expressions worried her to her core. Even now, he fascinated her, never talking about anything that gave her a genuine feeling of joy or intimacy. A boon to her, a NetNavi that spent a majority of her time feeling everything relative to what a person would call a “heart.”
" Oh, I think you're giving me too much credit, haha! I'm nothing special. "
Warrior's hand returned to scratch his nose, as if it'd help to cover his nervous smile. Her praise made him blush for sure, and any detection of her hidden emotions was immediately lost in the flattery.
The way she had said that almost made it sound like he was on a "one man against the world" mission to vanquish all traces of evil wheresoever it reared its ugly head; in truth he just assisted the real "heroes" of their world when times were perilous. Most of the time he wasn't much more of a factor than just moral support, really.
But when he stopped to think about it, the way she said it really made sense coming from her. The only time Megami ever saw Warrior was during those perilous times, fighting alongside others against overwhelming odds. The rest of his time was spent in the real world just going about his regular life, a life she didn't even know he had.
So as far as she would know, maybe he was just some ardent hero that sought out evil doers in his off-time. He didn't know what she truly thought about him though, he just really liked the interactions she gave him and was drawn to her for that if nothing else.
" I certainly am happy -- we should all be! This is a time to celebrate the peace everyone brings the world. "
Taking that credit off of himself and putting it where he felt it belonged was the only natural thing to say. After all, it took everyone being peaceful to have peace.
He noticed Xenneth's screen not popping up at any time during this like it had done in the past, but chose not to question that and proceed regardless.
" So I suppose we should be thankful to everyone for this, wouldn't you say? "
The lights around the park were beginning to dim down slowly as it was being made clearly apparent the event was coming to a close. It was departure time already, and the vibe for everyone to say their goodbyes filled the air as nameless attendees slowly fanned out from the area.
Various Normal Navis stood diligently around the borders of the park waiting for the remaining attendees to depart so that they could begin taking down decorations and making plans for the next holiday's event.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody!
For the next event: my intent is to have something more stats-related for Valentine's Day, but we'll see what becomes of those plans in a month. Red Mystery Data will be rewarded during that event as well, but its contents will be different. That being said: any Red MD you choose not to roll during January may be rolled in February instead. While you'll lose out on potential access to Christmas Chips from those Red MDs, you'll be able to roll more Valentine's Chips (which function similar to Christmas Chips: only usable while the corresponding Crest is equipped).
What will Valentine's Chips do, you ask? Who knows! I sure don't! But we'll all know by February 1st!
Sounds good! Just roll a 1-5 Dice for each of these in here and that'll be all. Warrior is accessing 4 Red MD's Feint is accessing 5 Red MD's (she had 1 left over from years ago) Nymphra is accessing 4 Red MD's Shine is accessing 4 Red MD's
To save space (since they can be traded among our own Navis at equal value), I'm gonna go ahead and re-allocate my Christmas Chips here. Post in my Player Shop if any one is wanting to trade chips among any of my characters.
[Feint] giving both Snow Stages and GBMan to [Warrior] in exchange for 3 Frozen Hearts

Take a Moment & Think of Just Flexibility & Love & Trust
Her smile would come when he said such things! Modest little lies he told about himself being nothing special. Megami, in her eyes, had thought he was just that and more. Many times over, whenever the world be in danger, he would be there time and time again. It was so much so that the violet haired boy who would see him would become inspired by the heroics of the one NetNavi who rallied the rest. Megami wish she had that strength...even if it was for her to encourage the spirit of someone she too was fond of.
Nevertheless, she would grow even more enticed. Feelings of familiarity for a friend long ago would come to surface. Eyes glossed over like a polished crystal, she would slowly step forth in a trance as he spoke. Her fingers twiddling on another as her thumb won the struggle pressuring to her index. In that moment, she was reminiscent of a girl approaching a boy in a preschool. Her smile all the more nervous as she could not think of anything more than a person she liked and would do anything for.
“I am thankful...my Warrior.”
Earnestly she would gaze at him unmoving. Only a moment would pass, but it would feel like forever to her. It was not only the topside of the net that was blinding and overwhelming, but also the radiance of the NetNavis. It had been a while since she was exposed to such light. A turn on her heel, slow and graceful, she would start to walk away. Her expression dropping in the shadows of the radiant tree behind her and not to mention the NetNavi that she held no candle to.
“You are right,” Her tone jolly as she bound in a matching swagger, “Let us enjoy this peace. However everlasting it may be.” Her head would swivel to show the saddened glance in her eye. She was an optimist at heart, but her mind knew reality. As of late, she had been exposed to it with every step she walked into the dimly lit underbelly of the net. Depravity and chaos were sadistic teachers, but they were still teachers nonetheless. Her eyes sorely going back to the shade away from the tree, away from Warrior, and away from the reaches of the net’s light.
“We will surely meet again my Warrior.”
The woman replied as she walked through the central area of the net. The sparkling pieces of data in her grasp starting to unravel as the light from them begun to circulate and sweep into her being as the chip data became one with her. The gelatinous NetNavi in the shadows of the building that seemed to lurk had done the same, leaving when she found their conversation had come to an end.
