((Versions off. Probably around 10 posts a person with Single Judge Grading.))
Legacy stood still, completely motionless in the middle of the arena. It seemed even his optical sensors were in standby as his normally glowing "eyes" were off. It was almost as if he was doing his best impression of a statue or sleeping while standing.
"..."
Despite his outward inactivity though, he still had a distinct aura emanating from his body. It glowed softly rather than intensely flowing through his armor like usual, and pulsated almost as if living and breathing all on its own. It seemed the tall imposing navi was meditating. Despite the light show and his appearance, he barely seemed noticeable to most bystanders. One had to wonder how long he had remained still.

The sound of paws tip tapping about echoed around the enclosure, a new challenger approaches!
Black fur and yellow tufts, feet paws clasped in some sort of rubberized armor, complementing a grey-yellow skin tight bodysuit. An elongated snout, wiggly bits, a tail and two long ears. A canine navi entered Legacy's field of view. Looking like a jackal, the guy seemed an agent from Nebula System Dynamics, the reason of his presence unknown...yet.
K907 stopped short of a few meters from the meditating robot, one hand on his hip and the left palm resting on the grip of his weapon.
"Greetings. Mind a spar?"

"Systems coming back online...Running diagnostics...All green."
The interruption snapped Legacy back into full consciousness as his main camera "eyes" once again, lit up green with activity. Legacy looked over the newcomer, unaware of anything to do with his background, although he was reminded of quite a few other navis that he previously met. Perhaps bipedal humanoid animal designs were a more popular choice these days rather than the almost completely human or robotic designs Legacy was more familiar with.
"Oh? It seems a strong one has turned up. Ka-ka-ka! Very well, this will be a good way to kill some time." Legacy extended his hand outwards, materializing what appeared to be a large handheld cannon and grabbing it. There was no better test of his revised weapon systems than live combat after all. His once gently pulsing aura grew tremendously, scattering a cloud of green particles everywhere as he readied for combat.
"My name is Legacy, now...Let's begin!" Legacy aimed at his canine opponent and fired a bolt of plasma in his direction. Rather than simply stopping there however, a set of crystalline copies of the plasma cannon appeared, riddling the direction he aimed at with gunfire.

The K-Unit's eyes shined as green as Legacy's own. His claws moved and all the shells that would have otherwise hit him were deviated. The wolf smirked as the area behind him exploded. This guy was a strong one. But brute strength wasn't going to work on him. Not without purpose at least. He moved into a shooting stance, ready to draw his gun at the opponent.
"Legacy uh? I feel like I have heard that name before...do you know someone named Thorn? Tall Darkloid, lizard looking, all purple...cocky and theatrical?"
The wolf ducked under another shell and responded by shooting a...beeping dart? at the robotic navi.

"Oh?" Legacy watched as the jackal-navi-thing elected not to dodge the incoming gunfire, electing instead to deflect them instead. "Interesting. It was a straight forward move, but to deflect them all at that range..." Legacy thought to himself, thinking about the possibilities of how to overwhelm his opponent. The Jackal was likely more skilled than Legacy in close quarters, but the worrying thing was the distance he kept himself from Legacy, not to mention that Legacy could see that he had firearms too.
Legacy couldn't conclusively judge that he was more skilled at gunplay than this tights wearing animal. Despite his fairly quick growth, Legacy's analysis and instincts told him that he was fighting an uphill battle. It seemed that he needed to rely on more than a straightforward assault.
"Thorn?" Legacy asked, only shifting his aim slightly before firing another round, blasting the dart out of the air. "Indeed we are acquainted."
As he talked, eight sets of small bat-like wings unfolded from Legacy's back before detaching and flying into formation around him, revealing his miniature mechanical Orbital Familiars. Within a moment, they all darted off in separate directions, surrounding the bipedal dog thing and bombarding him with gunfire from all directions. Meanwhile, Legacy began targeting his opponent once more, aiming at a opening or blind spot.

907's eyes darted all over the place as he kept track of all the little things swarming him. However, being so focused on making sure no attacks hit him meant not being able to attack the opponent. He needed to come up with a plan to get free of those pesky things. Destroying them seemed a pretty effective solution.
The jackal pulled the pin on a EMP nade on his belt, waiting for the thing to go off. Once the pulse hit the familiar, they'd be damaged beyond repair. After that he could focus on his main problem and find a solution.

"That looks bad." Legacy thought to himself as opponent pulled out a grenade, likely to destroy his Orbital Familiars. He didn't throw it though, so that meant either he had a death wish, or it wasn't meant to damage with an explosion. Rather than withdrawing however, the familiars simultaneously glowed, their own board generators had been building up power as they continued the assault.
"Formation, Revolution." Legacy issued a command mentally to his familiars, causing them to surround his opponent in a ring, his opponent precisely in the center axis of the ring. The familiars, having built up more power, began rotating quickly around and firing a more concentrated plasma beam, rather than small rapid-fire bolts of plasma. Their small on-board generators however, were unable to keep this up for too long, and after this attack, darted back towards Legacy, docking back into place to recharge.
Legacy meanwhile, had flipped his launchers over his shoulders, aimed at the canine navi. "Barrels deployed. Level 1, Double shot." The Twin Sefirot Launchers had built up sufficient energy, and Legacy fired off two large plasma beams at 907.

Jumping over the two shots, the jackal closed the distance in an instant. He slid under the barrels of Legacy's weapon, jamming the EMP grenade in one of the barrels. Then, the K-Unit executed a perfect rising kick to slap the gun out of his way. He already understood the guy's weakness. Close Combat.
ShatterPoint fighting at work, 907 quicly predicted a good hundred thousands of possible reactions from the opponent and about a couple hunderd different scenarios he could force the guy into. For now, he would focus on a frontal assault, forcing the opponent to lose ground. Either he avoided by backstepping or simply allow 907 to maul him in that precise spot.
His choice.

Mildly surprised by the speed of his opponent, Legacy was a moment late in reacting and was pushed back by the sudden impact on his beam launchers. "Foreign element detected, purge." Legacy reacted immediately as he thought, firing another burst of energy from his Sefirot Launchers. The EMP grenade flew from the barrel, landing on the ground, although the pulse never came, rather the EMP grenade was damage and completely encased in an emerald green crystal.
Legacy stepped in towards his curiously stationary opponent, brandishing his rifle as if to club 907 and swat him away. In the next instant though, Legacy was gone as if the space around him suddenly swallowed him, and replacing Legacy were his Orbital Familiars, all detached once more and bombarding 907's direction from up close.
"Force Ray, Active." Legacy had reappeared a distance above the battlefield, his brigandine armor plating already formed into a gun barrel. Energy channeled into the barrel from Legacy's reactor, and a literal rain of tiny homing lasers fired at his opponent, dozens of smaller beams scattering and bending at impossible looking angles and yet all eventually still aimed at his opponent below. It wasn't the most powerful of attacks, but it would have taken a severe miscalculation for Legacy to miss. That said, it would only provide more insight on his opponent if it did.

The attacks did not miss per se, as the target was hit, but the result was not what the mechanical warrior had intended. K907 spun around and kicked the lasers back at the source, before destroying all the familiars in one fell swoop! Perhaps leaving them alone was not the best idea. Especially that close to the jackal.
"You know. You're getting kinda repetitive. I thought you wished to win?"
K907 grinned. The guy wasn't a dedicated combat navi, and his tactics were antique and inefficient. The fact that he kept saying what he was going to do only made things easier on the analytical navi. The K-Unit didn't even need to look at the direction he was shooting at. He knew where Legacy would be even before the guy moved. As long as he just kept shooting at him from a distance like that, he would have no trouble.

The deflected lasers headed back towards Legacy, although before actually hitting him, they once again curved away from him as if avoiding Legacy by their own will. Apparently that hitting Legacy with his own energy was harder than it seemed.
*roll*
A metallic capsule moved slightly at K907's feet before violently detonating, producing a massive blinding flash and a thick cloud of emerald-like particles around the battlefield. Legacy had left the Chaff Particle Dispenser discretely before warping away, and his Familiars served as a decent distraction. Curiously though, it didn't seem to deal any direct damage to its surroundings, although the cloud obscured Legacy's body.
The sound of gunfire rang out from a distance as several bolts of plasma flew quickly towards K907.

K907 shielded his eyes from the explosion. darn, he was too focused on the guy he accidentally left a opening...that wasn't capitalized on by the opponent?
It took three hits for the K-unit to track the trajectory of the remaining strikes. The hits stung badly, but at leas the padding of his armor was enough to stop any sort of lethal damage to his core area. Now, how would he get past the cloud...or out of the way. He sould close the gap asap.
First thing, jump out of it as to prevent any poison and backtrack to a safer position. Second, he needed to pin the opponent down. He was done with the constant hit and run this guy was doing. He was not going to waste a full day just to chase the opponent around like an headless chicken.
Perhaps he should need to stop fussing around and actually deal with the problem at hand properly.
A slew of custom NSD chips was promplty slotted in as a result.
