The militaristic state of Sharo. Their net is always an arctic land with forests and mountains aplenty, but they carry their own secrets as well. Some navis take up mining and use that as a means to ensure their livelihood while in the network. In a recent fit due to the changes happening the world over, Sharo has adapted a very thorough search and lock method.
For any navis, they have difficulties entering Sharo due to needing a physical connection to reach the networks of Sharo now. As a result, an operator would be required for them to get within the network, and even that can be delayed by the searching crew. After they search both the operator and their navi or just the person in general, then they're allowed to pass. If they are an operator however, they're given a specific key that allows them to access only the parts of Sharo that are relevant to their business. Even citizens of Sharo have their navis restricted in where they can or cannot go. What caused such a drastic change in the minds of the higher ups of Sharo even with the Senators involved is difficult to discern at the time with no obvious clues being out there.
Prominent areas would be the Arbor Woods, Elbrus Range, Ural Tundra, and Com Square.
The Arbor Woods surround the northern peaks lays the massive wilderness of the pine-wood forest of massive size and incredible beauty.
The snow there never melts, leaving the tall pines constantly dusted in white and the floor constantly frozen. Life exists here in spite of the harsh conditions, though not in great number. The trees, snow, and rocky landscape provide little shelter from the elements, meaning this forest can be very dangerous to those without survival skills or the ability to tolerate the cold.

The Elbrus Range are massive peaks of white emerge in the north through the Sharo areas, eventually approaching tower like skyscrapers above their observers. Sheer cliffs that look as though they were dipped in water before being frozen meet the observer's eyes and simply cause vertigo with their imposing stature, though their stark beauty is a source of pleasure for some.
Evergreen arbors dot the landscape in precarious positions, storms start and stop on their whim without regard for the normal weather control systems, and the ground is forever in permafrost. Cave systems crawl under the mountain range like worms, harboring some of the net-goers of this northern country. All in all, this land is for only the hardy or the foolish, and even then only if they can manage some protection from the cold. And beneath these lands is the secret of what their beautiful structure truly represents.

Below the northern mountain range lies a large plain, torn from the realistic digital peaks by a jagged sweep of snow drifts, the Ural Tundra. Flurries still float down from the skies here, but the intensity is minimal and accumulation is null. Like oases in a desert, many sparse outcroppings of trees and links are scattered about the vast netscape giving no indication to their vital importance. The area is aesthetically produced to meld with the idea of a soft chill by use of mild colors and smooth lines, while the on the horizon flows a steady pattern of snow flakes barely distinguishable from the actual flurries.
Here, there's a portal to the train network commissioned of Gauss Inc. to maintain the Sharonian magrail system, there, a link to the capital's own network. Beyond, a system of mining network jumps lie carefully surveyed in respect to their real world position - important resources for all of net society are daily mined from within. Closer to the Elbrus ranges are various government level teleports, ranging from jumps to the official forces on up to the capital building itself.
-
And lastly Com Square, the pinnacle of all Sharonian architecture is located in this square, the single largest city in all of Sharo. Buildings of varying sizes scrape the skies and lay low as well. Some of the tallest buildings are identified by their cone-shaped roofs and multi-colored walls. At one time, this remarkable icon of Sharo's history was locked deep within it's own borders, but has since become open to tourism for everyone of all nations. Anyone strolling through this heavily metropolitan area will see franchised markets from all around the world located in just this square.
But while Sharo has changed in some ways and still the same in others, it has changed far more than the observer would be like to notice at all...
