A large chunk of Resonance's bravado drops as he takes a far more defensive pose. He'd seen this power before, yet he'd never seen it used in quite this manner before. He didn't expect to fight the power of Falzer in this fight, but to say that it was a full surprise would be a lie. With the new Griega Juuka still in this network combined with his knowledge that Falzer had gone missing after Rammount, Resonance had expected to meet this power eventually.
However, while a terribly destructive being on its own, Falzer posses only a small amount of the issue here....
Resonance: I'll admit, I'm impressed. Using a vastly more powerful being to enhance your weapon like that instead of yourself is a neat trick...
Resonance reaches his hand forward and opens it, revealing the fabled Hourglass mark on his palm.
Resonance: ...shame for you that mine is basically the same.
The Crest of Eon himself resonates on the chest of the original Generational, cascading a black light across the network as a luminous, blue drops down from the sky, alighting on Resonance perfectly. Rosso would recognize this program as he was there the last time it had been seen by Navi kind. This was the power of Eon himself that Revelation Forte had lost in his final moment as the greatest being in existence, brought down from the Galaxy network.
Resonance: You may not have known each other very well, but I know that you were there that day... Zane...
Resonance's eyes narrow as his true deus ex machina begins to appear.
Resonance: The Power of Space, the Crest of Time...
Resonance opens another portal, this time revealing Embera as she makes her way towards Genesis... with a special emphasis on the cross that she wears; the last piece of the puzzle that Resonance had been missing for so many years.
Resonance: ...the mind of the Eternal Engdame.
Resonance turns back to Rosso, putting a hand on his crest and another on the program of Eon's power as he does so.
Resonance: You say that you are going to obliterate us all. You say that you're going to bring about your own change. You say that you're the trigger...
Resonance's eyes narrow as he prepares to do the unthinkable, truly on his last option against the Pyroclasm.
Resonance: ...well I was the trigger for the strongest Navi known to this net, and I will tell you right now; either you yield, or I will bring back a being that will destroy your every tactic, and erase you without a thought. I will bring back Eon!
The three pieces were already in place. Resonance still held the crest, the Power that was held by Eclipse is in his hand, and the Mind is now only a gesture away.

Nightshade's body suddenly twitched uncontrollably. The power of the Cybeast within him reacting at its double as it manifested as such incredible strength. The juuka could feel it.
Falzar's Juuka had finally manifested in the net.
...no wait. It wasn't a juuka. The signature he was feeling drawn towards was nothing like his own. The Beast Factor was...bound. It was being forcefully channelled somewhere. It was immensly powerful, but it didn't feel natural. That made the little cat zoanoroid think. Whoever had Falzar's powers was trying to control them by force. What if the key to Beast Out wasn't control but Synch? Beast Out. Draw out your inner beast.
Suddenly, a memory returned to mind. Nightshade paled visibly. If he felt Falzar's power that deep underground, a certain someone who was looking for the cybeasts not too long ago and with powers way stronger than his own definitely felt it as well.
"RAM, forget the Life Virus. We need to evacuate Element City RIGHT NOW. If I felt it, he did too. Forte's coming."

The virus eyes the Bestial hunter as he approaches. Narrowing its vision and allowing Nightshade the desired stealth he sought. The hulking destroyer does not move, it feels no urgent threat to its well being from the comparably small navi before it or its frigid power.
Nightshade strikes. His bug infused blade connects with the translucent purple veil that surrounds the beast yet finds it melting and bending before the might of the Virus' aura. Giving no quarter to the hesitating attacker the Life Virus deals with this minuscule pest with a swat of its mighty fist to push the navi away.
GROOOOOOAR!!!
A Scuttle virus crawls out from under the water in front of the Wolfen navi to block his path. It's blue shell like many seen before but within its yellow eyes lurks a power K-414 would sense is unlike those he's crushed before. It flares its own purple veil and hisses.
Here's yalls thread.

Rosso let out a bit of a scoff. After all, there was a lot that could be said was true yet only half true. When it came to just enhancing the weapon or a vastly more powerful being, those were up for grabs. They might even be true, but the glint in his eyes didn't change: he was reassured that there was only one logical outcome here. And it wasn't just because of his own hubris, but the knowledge he possessed.
"You don't know even half of it when it comes to the powerful beings backing me now."
But it was true that he recognized the program. He didn't have a point-blank view like Genesis did, but he had seen it with the rest. He hadn't actually confronted Eon back then, rather acted as a spectator. He couldn't claim to have been behind the mighty blows that the Titan of Space and Time could bring down upon others. He hadn't become an active fighter until Revelations Forte, of which he put in no small amount of work to win that fight. And the battle against the greatest being had been given an opening thanks to their efforts... or was it so? But once he narrowed in on the cross, he was able to draw a clear picture.
"No wonder she was immune. She has the mind right there? Or is this yet another bluff? Let me offer a few corrections to your words though, Resonance. We are both triggers, but their meanings are entirely different. And the strongest navi on the net Eon might have been... but wasn't he still weaker than Forte at his prime? The fight that ruined Electopia in its entirety due to the nature of Eon's true greatest strength. Not to mention that he's a loaded gun not to just me, but the world by existing. His programming can't be stopped. So why would you wipe out everyone instead when you were so upset about this city? We'll visit him in good time. But one last correction..."
The light that had gathered for Rosso had dimmed, faded even as he lowered the sword. It would appear as though he had yielded, yet given his words that couldn't have been the case from Resonance's perspective. In the face of the ultimatum, Rosso was still as unyielding as ever. While Resonance didn't know Zane intimately, it was a trait that likely passed on. He was obstinate once he took a stance. But before that stance had been for the benefit of others instead of this polar opposite.
"We're not going to eradicate all of you. Only most of you. The ones who resist and a few key targets, namely. You were a key target, so here we are. And after you fall, what hope do the others have when your greatest power buckled beneath just one of us? When at just a gesture I could make one moment stretch out for an eternity?"
It was here that Resonance noticed it. The other strange thing that had been happening in the spanning timelines. They were repeating themselves. Locked in a loop of some kind, like a paradox. Something that Serenade would have been familiar with, but not something that Resonance would have known. And it explained what that other feeling was at the battle's onset. And slowly but surely, each of those moments, even the one with Embera, were being taken in by the moment here, his sword held aloft once more.
"A gift from our defective friend and his failed idea of a paradise. A power none of you can grasp right now. And a power much more valuable and mighty when augmented by something more. Coalesce, and disperse in this quasar."
Everything collapsed into a single moment. A lock that could only be broken by a greater force possessed by the individual. A greater strength rather than force, that is. This was why he said his trump wasn't exactly a lightshow. He had one of those for certain given who he was, but another that he possessed now was this forced clash. A moment that could span on any number of times, yet could only end when one of two things happened: either his attack would best his foe or his foe would best his brute strength. And he imagined even Resonance knew...
That was something he wanted to avoid from the very moment this fight began.
So the light of the sword renewed, and just like the quasar he mentioned expanded and erupted. If they weren't inside of this space that Resonance created, the force of which would have left Electopia itself more than just reeling. It was a fiery display with the sole purpose of utter eradication. And it was meant to do the very same to Resonance and everything that was here, all changed and refined into this moment thanks to the numerous powers he possessed. The might of the beast he now possessed... and at least two Titans on top of his own magnified status.

Resonance visibly winces as Rosso calls his bluff. At the moment that he begins to give credence to his own power and plan, the window to Embera closes, and the flame that he'd called down disappears from sight, now an obvious forgery of the real thing. However, a moment later Resonance's eyes light up and his head perks up, a smile returning despite Rosso's rising power.
Resonance: ...I see...
Resonance's hand lights up as the crest on his chest begins to pulse and flash.
Resonance: ...the only reason that someone like me would be a target....
Resonance raises his hand and stretches it forward as Rosso's very soul begins to burn with power, revealing the hourglass on his palm as he looks beyond it with a new determination.
Resonance: ...is if I have a hand in ending your plans.
The air around Resonance crackles and breaks, causing miniature explosions as he begins to bring out a greater level of power than before. His body shifts positions several times uncontrollably as he looks on. The original generational now knows beyond a doubt that the Navi standing here outclasses him entirely. His hope to win was nothing more than a vapor to begin with. However....
Resonance: Look down.
...Epoch's power. The seal that Resonance had set on the ground at the very beginning of the battle now extends beneath the trigger's feet like polished onix. As Rosso releases his final pulsar, the black ground flashes white and generates a pillar of light into the sky. Inside, Rosso's pulsar attack comes to a complete halt, frozen in time for the moment as little more than a small orb of energy in the pyroclasm's core. And still in the center of the reticule, Resonance's hand reaches towards Rosso.
Resonance: ....Reality Maelstrom.
...the sound of a violent, horrible shattering rings out, racking the minds of all within range with the sudden change. In the area around Resonance and Rosso, it looks as though reality itself warps, cracks, and breaks before moving off to the side at an ever-increasing rate. Within seconds, it looks as though reality itself is caught up in a tornado around the two Navis, breaking the very fabric of all logic and sense in a show of fantastic power and influence.
Resonance: ....I know that this is the end. I know that I can't beat you, and that you're going to win no matter what I do at this point.
The power of Resonance's final attack becomes more and more destructive with each passing moment as it suddenly contracts, focusing solely on Rosso and his abnormal barrier with a constant stream of unreal power. Resonance: ....but you're not getting out of here scott-free. I'll make the way for your defeat!
Resonance now stands in yet another form. This time, his armor is white with a brilliant aura of light. His every detail is sharper and more pronounced, and his day-white sword now shines like the sun itself.
Resonance: ...that barrier of yours. All of that power has to go somewhere, so let's find its limit!
The Reality Maelstrom pours its power as a non-stop torrent into Rosso as Resonance makes one last invisible dash. Through the light, through the power, he clashes his sword against Rosso the white blade burning with a heat dissimilar to Rosso's own power as he places his palm against it, pushing it into his foe with every bit of his might. All at once Rosso finds himself dealing with Resonance's two most powerful techniques, with no stop in sight to either as the Generational makes his last stand against the Pyroclasm with his apex techniques; a power that he'd never called on in his entire life.

He had looked down as he was asked, but the sight wasn't as horrifying as it normally would be. Instead, it was finally time. Here was the moment that he was waiting for from at least one of his opponents today. His eyes practically sneered for him. Yes... it took long enough for this moment to come to pass. An almighty motion that could halt the force of a Titan and more. A moment that would stretch out for an eternity... But that would be for later. Now came toppling that very moment himself since he was at least waiting for it. Were it to catch him unaware this would be much more problematic, but that was what made this worth investing in. Because Resonance wasn't a key target because he could end their plans, no... he was a key target because of what they would gain from him. Because as he stated, his death would be the cornerstone, yet so too would his final moments. So reality attempted to crush him as Resonance charged in to push the blade against his defense as well, but all the while he could feel Rosso sneering. And it kept getting better... this would do. It most certainly would... he'd have to leave the rest to his partner for the Life Virus at least, but he managed to get their other prize all the same. The rest would be history that he could wrap up in short order.
"You're the end of our plans, alright. Because your power is something valuable. Something with a lot of merit that can work against many things. And just like our friend, when in the right hands? It will pave the way to our change. In exchange, you may test these limits."
He wasn't certain if Resonance would hear him over the maelstrom of reality, just as a shrill noise echoed out. And the blast that had been halted in time earlier was tearing itself free. Rosso's free hand reached out to grab Resonance as well by the scarf he wore before pulling him closer to change that grab to be his throat instead. And then his own explosion tore free, coming together into the maelstrom as the forces collided together to add their destructive forces together. Rosso's indiscriminate destruction was added to the focused storm, now focusing on the two rather than just the one.
"So I'll say it again: sleep, Resonance."
And it was here that the Angbar Ragvell disappeared, flowing into his now free arm instead. The same arm that he aimed to drive right through the crest that Resonance bore and him along with it in this vicious landscape that they created together. To destroy the last remaining source of the Generational as well as to slay the last true wielder of its might. Because in the end it was true that Resonance had managed to find the right condition. That was why in this last ditch effort on his part, Rosso would make certain it was truly the last this time.

"Aren't you forgetting about someone? Normally I'd claim that it's me, especially given the fact that the name you invoked was that of someone very close to me. However, my understanding is similar to that of Resonance. I might not beat you, but I can still pave the way for someone else. And odds are, that someone else is on his way right now, given the amount of power that you just unleashed. So, before I leave you, I will give you something to think about. How will you defeat him?"
After she finished that final word, Serix began to glow brightly at her core. The glow would extend outward exponentially, carving it's way into buildings, the ground, and the air. After the large explosion, which would level an area of 3 city blocks, a shockwave would follow. Finally, in the crater that had been left behind, there would be a mystery data, as red as oxidized blood. Above, there would be a great cloud, which would begin moving towards Netopia. On the Mystery Data, there would be an inscription.
"Please deliver to Kajira."

...the light dies, the scene calm. Two Navis gave their efforts to obtain a victory, yet only one would take it.
...today, Resonance would not be that Navi.
Beaten and tattered, Resonance now kneels at Rosso's feet, the wicked blade of the pyroclasm cleanly through his crest, leaving the final Generational wide-eyed in final shock. His greatest effort, his highest power, all laid to waste this day. He'd tried his best, and in an ironic twist, the past repeated itself again...
....yet he didn't care. The OEL Navi, who now uses his remaining strength to look up to Rosso, hands affixed to the sword in his chest.... smiles.
Resonance: ...it all... makes sense...
Resonance pauses. Not by choice, but due to the sheer pain and fatigue of this final blow. Rosso had nearly obliterated him with this final blast, and if not for the protective nature of his SP form, he wouldn't even be here for these final words.
Resonance: ...I gave it... everything... and I lost. I failed... again...
...one final pulse, light though it may be, rises from Resonance's hands as he holds Rosso's exposed blade. One final attempt to fight back... yet to no avail. As soon as it had appeared, the pulse is gone, as a shadow exposed to the light of Rosso's fire.
Resonance: ...but I still... kept my promise... to you.
....Resonance finally goes limp, devoid of life. His body does not decompile or fall to pieces, instead it simply fades away. In his final moment, Resonance's end is as his life; just a shadow. And just as a shadow, he disappears without a trace when the lights come on. Where he'd been, the now shattered pieces of Eon's crest lay lifeless before fading away as well.

*He had arrived just as the explosion finished, landing down in a wave of darkness. But when he opened his eyes to look around... he noticed a very wasted city. He knew it was coming but man this was record time. He just said it! He sighed in a bit of exasperation and expectation, looking around to see what he could make of things. Fire and brimstone mostly, with some pretty heavy feeling beneath him. It felt like a few oppressive forces that he had the pleasure of coming face to face with in the past, like Gospel and the like. But before that, he spotted someone else that he had some unfinished business with. Third time was the charm, they said. But would it be the charm for him, or for Rosso? He'd get the answer to that one very shortly, confidence not withstanding.*
"So we meet again! I take it you're not gonna just peace out on me again, are you?"

He hadn't forgotten Serix, instead having opted to ignore her again to let her do her thing that he needed her to do as well. What better cover was there for the end of Element City then for someone else with fire to set it ablaze? Not that they could trace it back to him anyway, this was good. Still, when the explosion happened he narrowed his eyes. That was a bit of a pain honestly, seeing that she had been pushed a bit too far. And much like the destructive force that Resonance had unleashed, hers crashed into him too. But at the end of it, Rosso still stood alone. The city stood decimated, but that was about as planned. Rather, he walked over toward the center where the data was and struck it with his sword out of spite, destroying it completely. Rather than be spiteful and delivering it, he was vindictive right now instead. It bothered him that she took that method of all things. Taking one last glance back to where the crest had faded away, the deed done.
"Self-sacrificing mongrels... How irritating."
Everything had gone according to plan except the bitter end, but of course. There was a flicker much like in Netopia. Looked like that was it for today, growling beneath his breath as he put the sword away. It was barely hanging in there after Resonance, but Serix had sealed the deal. The defense was gone for a longer duration than when he fought Genesis and Nameless, which meant there was a key behind both of their approaches just now. He pushed the sword back in to whence it came, looking skyward for a moment and then to the ground below. It wasn't as though he couldn't keep pushing, but they had orders. And disobeying those weren't going to happen. He'd rub this in their faces later, though it looked like someone else showed up too.
"...Were you the one she was talking about? Seriously? I go through Resonance and her big hope rests on you? I'm insulted. Did you bring anything new to the table, or is it more of the same? I'm not in the mood right for playing games with weaklings again."

*Looked like there was something to address from just their introductions. So Resonance had engaged him... and from the sounds of it lost that fight outright. The guy was still standing while Resonance was nowhere to be seen. And it wasn't like that hero syndrome to go and let someone blow up a city if he was there to save others. That annoyed him, but he supposed it was the way Resonance would want to go. In respect to that, he'd make what was to come happen in his honor too.*
"She? I don't know enough girls who would take an interest in me, nor I in them. So unless you mean Kajira whoever it is, or was, is irrelevant."
*The insults didn't bother Xion on the grounds that they knew the stance each took already. Rosso looked down on him while Xion looked down on him. In essence their opinions on each other were canceled out from their own mutual disagreements, nor did Xion care for his opinion since he wasn't someone to take note of. The only thing he would do to that opinion was change it on the grounds that he wanted to. And Rosso brought that about the first time they had encountered each other and furthered it in the second round, however brief it was.*
*So Xion went on the offensive first this time rather unceremoniously at that. Closing the distance between them as the darkness coated each of his limbs. This wasn't what he used as the opening move however, seven spheres forming up around him that were sent flying to meet him before his own flurry of blows were unleashed. He wasn't going to screw around or hold back on this run given their previous engagements.*

Xion was starting now it seemed, so he would return the favor. Seven feathers rising up that became engulfed in flames before they became a soaring bird that each flew to meet the spheres headed his way. As for the oncoming blows, his own arms and legs would be used to meet each one in quick succession. In comparison to Resonance, Xion was much more ferocious. Even if Resonance possessed the power, Xion was the one who could be said to possess the unrelenting drive. He'd overpower someone with more power than him by way of sheer ruthless force. It made them a rather clean match, as Rosso preferred to fight more loosely than being civil like he was with Resonance.
"Yeah, sounds about right for Serix. If anything you're probably glad that she's gone without needing to do it yourself. But don't you worry, Xion. I won't be killing you, oh no. I have a promise to keep with an obnoxious woman. Killing you now wouldn't leave enough of an impact."
So now he would push harder here. The flames surged to life as he pushed back with raw strength to drive Xion back. Stopping at that wouldn't be enough as he accelerated, unleashing a frenzy of blows that began to blur into mirages, each backed up by the sheering strength that Falzar presented to him before sending Xion skyward, aiming upward as from his wrists came a gout of flames, surging skyward and stopping just short of New Life above. It was around here that something flew inside of the hole in the center where the Life Virus lurked below, though Rosso paid no heed to it.
"You and Serix will both serve that cause. First she'll learn that her friend died, of which she already has few of to begin with. Then she'll watch as the one she looks up to and respects is ripped apart, the second blow. The third will be when I rip apart that boy that's always with her. And once she's fallen so low, once she wishes for death... then I'll allow her to die as promised."
The surge of flames increased as he aimed his other arm, both releasing the flames as they spiraled together to form a vortex, a sphere at the center that engulfed Xion now. Unlike with Resonance, there was much more venom here than with them. Resonance was a necessity, he had to perish for their purposes. Xion, however, was a thorn. He would die because he despised him. That alone was suffice for him to cut out the plague that he represented.
"But until then, get out of my sight. You'll serve your purpose when demanded rather than by your volition. And your ambitions clash with ours."

*Oh, it was just Serix? Yeah he definitely didn't care for her. She was loud and just plain dumb to him and always in the way. He wouldn't have cared for tearing her up or cutting her down a few dozen pegs himself, but refrained. She was useful as a decoy, as bait, and as a foil to a few people. Even if he was displeased with her that didn't mean she didn't have a place to belong in the world. If she was in it, then she belonged in it more or less. Sure he might kill her because she annoyed the crap out of him, but normally she'd pop back up like a weed anyway. Putting aside said weed were the concerns brought up by his words now. Not for himself, but because said obnoxious woman, Kajira, certainly wasn't up for trading blows with Rosso if he caught her by herself.*
"You--"
*He was cut off though when the raw force that Rosso had was greater than the last time they exchanged blows by an exceptional margin, one that was definitely outside of the acceptable room for error. So instead even he was quickly overwhelmed and blown upward before the flames engulfed him, wrapping him in a fiery tomb. But it wasn't something that would stop him just yet. He was just getting started, so this was far from over.*
"I'm already fed up with you when it comes to me... but don't think for a second that I'll let you do as you please with Kajira or the boy."
*White and black surged out against the flames, driving the spiral out and forcing the flames to fall back down on the city below. It was like a white and black shadow, the darkness around his left arm being in the white shadow, his right still in pitch black darkness. His left leg was in black, the right in white. His torso was covered in both, stripes that criss-crossed back and forth. His face area was simple, split clean across in white and black on the right and left respectively. Having claws and an extremely long tail that moved about at will, one of his purple hued eyes becoming azure. So he reached out with the left hand as a pool opened up as the hilt of the Polaris rose out of it, gripping it as the silver flames instantly sparked to life around the blade's edge, the flare of power going off as it always did. He pointed it first as it unleashed the devastating blast down at Rosso first before it fired several more times, forcing a continuous fire rather than the single blast that would normal be unleashed from it. And yet he persisted anyway, the body he had in the air shattering like glass before he appeared behind Rosso, the tail aiming to latch around one of the Pyroclasm's legs first as Xion was armed with Polaris and a blade of darkness at the ready. The armaments moved in tandem but in opposite motions. Left and right, up and down, opposing angles. Either way he intended to keep this as an up-close confrontation.*

He had opened his hand, as if he was expecting something to come of it. But then nothing came instead, glancing down at it and narrowing his eyes. That was right, she was holding it right now. Old habits didn't fully die it appeared. Well, no matter. Polaris would make for a fine opponent and a nice testament of the gap between the harbinger of darkness and himself. The flames surged from his wrists again, this time hanging in place as his own pair of claws that he used to meet the Memento Mori. Each blast rocked the area of Element City they were in, but they didn't rock Rosso at all. At least until he performed his vanishing act, narrowing his eyes before he felt the tug at his leg.
So he had gained a few new tricks. How bothersome. It was pulling and making movement with his legs difficult thanks to the loss of balance for a moment, using both claws to defend against the oncoming blows. Defending Polaris directly without either of his swords was a bit tricky unless he decided to up the ante again. And while he was using Falzar already... he was still far from at the limit of his strength. It was about time his partner came back as well.
"Embolden me, Blaze."
An orange comet blazed through the city and slammed directly into Rosso's back, but the difference in strength was far more than what one was going to expect from it. As immediately after it slammed into him Rosso went into a swift rotation, taking Xion with him and kicked with the leg he was latched on to, the force of the motion forcing it off in an instant before he he shot after him and closed the gap immediately, his eyes alone showing the wicked grin he likely had on his face as he plowed his fist straight down into Xion as the city practically buckled beneath the weight of his blow.
"I told you already. You will serve us as we demand it. So heel, dog."
The flame erupted like a geyser, uprooting that entire section of the city into the air save the part that didn't withstand the force of the blow, the part he was standing on. So instead he was hovering in place, wings of flame behind him as he looked upward with the sneer on his face. And he opened his hand, the flames all around the city steadily flowing into the palm of his hand. A movement that anyone familiar with him knew was the sign of his most well known, and most terrifying, method of attack.

*Blaze? That actually sounded somewhat familiar, but not something he had let stick to his memory before. But that increase in strength spoke for itself as he was suddenly hurled about like a rag doll before using both blades to block the incoming strike. But he couldn't shove him off just yet before he was caught up in the city that was now sent skyward. It was around the time he saw all the flames gathering into one focal point that he started to have some recollection here. This particularly technique was one he recalled, but he more recalled a sword more than anything. And none of that was noteworthy to him because the sum of their meeting happened at the Dark Colony, where he decimated him along with everyone else. Man how the tables had turned... but this could serve as its own chance to flip it back to its rightful position.*
*So the tail moved to rebalance himself, using it to flip off and then land at a centerpiece of his now hovering landmass. He slammed the sword of darkness into the Polaris, forcing it to be absorbed as part of the life energy that this parasitic sword drained off of. And then he held it aloft, preparing one of the blasts to be released. The blast multiplied into seven, then into fourteen for the preparations to be made. These fourteen then were swallowed within a dark sphere, putting the sword back into its makeshift scabbard as Xion jumped up into it himself as well as the energy was forced to gather back into a single more powerful mass. It began to condense, becoming one dense sphere that once again multiplied, having one in each hand now. The power continued to amplify over itself, multiply again, and then be condensed even further into another superior mass. At last he slammed the spheres into one single one held between both of his hands, the main course complete. Now he'd use the terrain as the misdirection for the attack Rosso would attempt next, if it didn't blow it all away instantly anyway. But he had a rough idea of how it would work, so he would place his bet on the next move.*
