Krystania looked back up at the tree, frowning slightly as she did so. She couldn't quite get a good look up ahead at the higher tiers of the tree where she was. She took a step back before looking around at the others. Then, with a blur of movement she launched forward, slamming her blade into the tree.

The ornament was on her grasp, but before she had the opportunity to claim it as her own, some jerk decided to snipe it off her hand. Esperanza looked around while hanging on the christmas tree, and set her metaphorical retical over her newly appointed target. Since apparently, she could not take a quick moment to pick out at least one ornament for herself, before she made her way up higher so that later she could worry about obtaining more for the others. Esperanza decided to continue to search for another to gift upon that navi that's been causing a ruckus.
Esperanza made her way up higher, and was able to see a golden ornament. Unfortunately, there was a great amount of a distance seperating her from it. And being that she was slightly infuriated at the navi who sniped her last one, she instead materialized in that instance a Persian Craine on her left hand. She then scouted out her target once more, and when she positioned herself properly, she closed her eyes. After a breif pause, she took a deep breath, and then started to slice the branches in hope that a large chunk would land on top of Thrash's head. "Here's your mistletoe you impatient bugger!!
Action: Climber - Attack the tree along with Thrash, possibly causing a hidden ornament to fall for that attacker

Mayura was still puzzled by the entire situation. What was this celebration taking place? To sum it up, so far the most she understood was that everyone reaaaally seemed to want these strange spheres of colors. Though, she noticed that Nib must've dropped his on accident.
"Emotion: distress. His sphere.."
Mayura said loud enough for those that were near her to hear. She then crouched and dashed forward, floating off the ground to reach and catch the ball in time.

Nib:
Nib takes gold ball 7 for himself, and then would suddenly notice that Mayura had attacked the tree directly next to him, causing a hole in the pine-needle wall to open. Inside, there sits a small gift-box wrapped in bright green!

We should all be on the same team and try to reach for the top!"The cat Zoanoroid turned over to Saint "Ain't that right, Mr. Saint?"Somehow, Nightshade didn't really feel like this should be a race at all, nor it should be a competition as Thrash would make it out to seem. The juuka readied up and hopped up further, aiming for the Silver colored ornaments. Something about them attracted him way more than the gold ones. He reached a hand up and grabbed the one with the number 5 on it. Seeing the number two so close as well, he used is tail to pich that up as well.

The three ornaments that fell were deftly caught by the swordswoman, placing the items in her pack as she continued to look skyward at the massive tree. It seemed that they had been climbing for so long and yet there was still so much to see. It was incredible, to her, that someone had been able to put all of this together as they had. She glanced over at the others, noting that Asymptote was still on the first level and now, the tree seemed to have expanded up higher. He would certainly need to climb higher up, but she wouldn't need to support him much in that endeavor. He was strong enough to make that climb on his own.
Her gaze flickered over to the others then, noting that the strange, Cat-like navi seemed to be yelling at the one on the ground that was attacking some of the other climbers. She frowned, looking over at Thrash. "Your...brother? Is right. This is a time of peace and friendship," she said with a smile toward the female figure near her, before she noted that Nightshade was still hoarding the ornaments. She took a step back, channeling frost through her blade before taking a swing and for a moment, it seemed that she was launching a wintry assault at Nightshade.
However, the attack launched didn't hit him so much as it did the tree nearby, possibly opening up something for him as she had for Asymptote. "Merry Christmas!" she calls to the feline navi.

Asymptote would make sure the ornament was hanging off his suit without much of a problem, but before he could try to climb up towards the second area of the tree, he noticed a present in the tree from where his friend had managed to hit at with one of those snowballs. Tilting his head as he would reach gently into the hole and pluck the gift from it. He thought long and hard about how he would keep it from dropping or anything, so with a little bit of data manipulation, the navi created a small burlap sack that he could make use of, slipping it into the bag before he could begin climbing to tier two. But before he could, he would happily give Krystania a thumbs up and a nod, provided she was paying attention. But afterwards, the navi would sacrifice the bulb that was hanging from his tattered remains of his suit, jumping upwards a level and causing a very slight shaking of the tree as he did so, climbing higher and higher as he grabbed the third gold bulb

Merrill notices that the next area is open. He looks below, and sees Vytrex, empty handed so far. He looks at the ball in his hand, and shouts down to him.
"YO, HAMMER TIME! MERRY CHRISTMAS!"
With shockingly good elegance for one such as he, Merrill threw himself backwards off the tree trunk momentarily, doing a perfect back-flip. As his body was parallel to the ground as he looked down, he threw the gold ball down with great accuracy, so Vytrex could catch it and keep it. He managed to grab a branch in almost the exact position he had been standing in, but just a foot to the left. He used his wings for lift, to get back up, before reaching for the next tier. He jumps, and climbs up faily quickly, using his sword to reach branches and pull himself up like an ice climber. Once he got up, he saw he stood between two gold ball. He thought about it, and decided to see if he could get them to drop them for everyone below.
ACTION: Clime to Tier 3 and attack the tree between Gold Ball 9 and Gold ball 10.

"Ka-ka-ka!" Legacy cackled as two of his Orbital Familiars struck down an ornament before bringing them back to him. A small bounty, but a bounty none the less, not to mention that he could aim at higher levels now. He wondered if it would be more prudent to work with others in this case. It was a shame he couldn't aim for the highest tier yet though. With that, the Orbital Familiars flew back upwards, firing somewhat indiscriminately at ornaments once more, although at a higher tier.

Esperanza continued to advance further higher on the Christmas Tree until she found another ornament in silver coloring. Before she made her next catch, her current ornament felt rather heavy on her. Instead of it dragging her down, Mal just sacrificed her treasure and pushed towards her next catch.

If Nightshade and numerous others are trying to be the voice of reason, Thrash isn't listening. Christmas is not the time for reason or mercy, why else would they drown the malls with infuriating orchestral music if not to interrupt the logic center of the brain or any sort of conference between shoppers? No, these fools do not understand Christmas at all - one who has nothing cannot give, and only one who fights tooth and nail earns the right to the best tributes. Case in point, staying on the offense has already yielded a bounty of rewards... which the War Daemon immediately consigns to the void. One who has the most must provide for the lessers of the pack, after all...

It was nice of folks to either be joyous or riled up for the good old hunt of Christmas. Either it was for getting it themselves or passing it around or even helping others. Either way, he also agreed that the attack tended to work well when mixed with someone else. And he liked being repetitive from time to time too, so he aimed to shoot and help out with Esperanza's next catch today.
