Xeel
Xeel casually struts through the streets of the Element city business district. Her hands behind her head and she eyes each building. Her uniform singed and mostly disheveled from the previous ventures. Hmmm~ she ponders, stopping at an intersection. I have... mumbling out loud as she peers down each street. Absolutely... She shoots a glance to several establishments, their signs emblazoned with as much flare as they could fit. NO idea where I am! A raised voice, but not quite a shout. She laughs at herself. She had never been to this part of Element City before.

"You."
A Navi with white hair and a white dress covering down to her feet appeared behind Xeel, carrying a brown bag of items, from which the top revealed at least one bag of potatoes.
"You look as if you just exited from a war, yet I detected no recent signs of darkness. Would you explain to me what happened to you?"

Xeel
Huh? Xeel turns to one who addressed her while giving herself a serious once over. Her appearance does give off that feel, doesn't it? I wouldn't call it a war, but I did get in a fight or two. Soldiers tend to do that. The lithe navi flexes her right arm. I won of course. No contest. With cockiness so thick it oozes.
Relaxing herself Xeel rests both hands on her hips. Do you know where the "Higure Homeco" building is? It takes her a moment to remember the exact name. It's a big company. They host most of the homepages humans and navis use these days. I just can't seem to find it in this concrete jungle.

Inori leaned in with a confused gaze.
"...Who? I'm not really from around her, I just moved in really. So I am as clueless as you are. Have you tried using the map? I would pull it up for you myself, but my hands are kinda full."
Inori perked up after waiting a moment.
"Oh, if you are a soldier, maybe you can help me! I've been looking for someone I haven't seen around even though he is a part of the ONB. His name is.. uh.. what was it.. oh yes Nightcat! Nightcat was it, would you have happened to hear of him lately?"

Xeel
There's a map? Where? She glances around yet again, not seeing one plastered anywhere. Continuing to look as she answered
Nope! Never her of Catnight. Sounds like one of those cartoon heroes you'd see in a childrens cartoon though. she gives up her search for a map. What map? Show me Xeel extends both arms in an offering to take the bags from her conversation buddy.

Inori sighed.
Where could he be...
Inori took Xeel's offer and handed over the brown bag. From being able to hold it, Xeel could tell that the bag contained nothing but package-wrapped potatoes. Inori then opened a little window in front of her, scrolling through files until she pulled up a navigator. She turned to stand next to Xeel and pointed to a general area of buildings a far distance from there current point.
"Is... one of theeeese the building you are looking for..?" The end of her sentence was slower and trailed off.

Xeel
Oh wow. That's fancy. noting the interface that appeared while accepting the bag. Wish I had this kind of function. she nestles in closer to her helper Can you touch it to get more information? she hoists and cradles the sack of groceries into one arm. Then boops a building and a window with details about 'Metties Multimail' pops up. Cool! She quickly taps the x and begins rapid fire going through buildings. After several seconds she stops at one. A large square a few blocks away. Here here! Right, straight, left. Awesome.
She holds the bag out for Inori to take again. By the way what's with the potatoes? For an emulated taste to enjoy potatoes aren't even in my top 10. Icecream is way better.

Inori nervously chuckles as Xeel has fun with the map, but realizes what she said.
"Eh? Don't you have an operator that has a navigation system installed? I was on the assumption it was even default nowadays."
Inori gratefully takes her shopping bag back, cradling it with both arms once more, the interface closing automatically.
"I have gotten quite fond of simulated cooking. It is a fun activity, to be honest. A lot of the side dishes I make include potatoes so I have to make sure I stock up!"
She adjusted the bag in her arms for better support.
"Oh, and, my name is Inori. If you ever need anything, here is my contact information."
A much smaller window appeared in front of Inori that she motioned with her head to float over to Xeel. It was a basic info card, reading simply her name again and the address which Xeel could send her mail if she chose to.

Out of Character
Taking the gift Xeel pulls out a small notebook looking device and physically inserts the card into it. No operator here! Us soldier types don't get ops. rambling off in a joyous tone and twirling her finger. The soldier dressed woman glances down and grins.
Hey. I've got work to do and I'm burnin' clicks. I'll e-mail you if I find myself in the mood to 'eat' potato. With that Xeel assumes a readied sprinters stance and in a small Hup! disappears in a flicker of speed. Down the road already half way too her destination...
...Accurately following the directions and in a matter of a minute is before the Higure Homeco gate. Closed of course. A complex of two large buildings with hundreds of windows and several 'bridges' connecting the two buildings. Contrary to its business focus a battlechip encircles the large HHC logo. Behind the gate is a modestly sized garden and dozens of business official looking navis discussing things Xeel can't hear. At the gate she addresses the gates only guard. Yo. You give tours here?

Huh. Lots of strange Navis lately, but she's nice.
Inori takes her stride in the other direction, heading off to her original plans.
<Inori exits>

Out of Character (Long week ova. Be my own npc then, ya scrubs!)
O hay der grl yar we gib dem der toors we's got wun stahtin n jus a min r too yusm it be de fine-est toor in de wur-...
Xeel can't understand a word the guard says, a defense against would-be tour goers? Still, she could understand enough to know there were tours which gave her a valid excuse to wander around. She vaults over the gate leaving the guard to ramble to himself.
To the bridge! she thinks to no one for her own amusement. strutting past the suits in the garden and into the building itself. Scouring the first floor lobby for an elevator to the upper story offices.

Out of Character
Her search was short-lived, as being a large office there are offices everywhere. She see's the red numbers above the two elevator doors. One reading '30' and the other... '1'. Oh my god... A race against the clock is it? Her favorite thing. The last navi enters the elevator and the doors begin closing. She leans back slightly and bolts for it. The longest second of the day... Except for the bombing of the NSD building.
...but she makes it in the nick of time. Nudging her way inside the plethora of day to day schmucks she waits silently while they pass glances at each other, then to her, and back again. Saying nothing in timid confusion.
*ding* Finally, the death road to offices arrives on the 18th floor. Spilling out into a large area of cubicles and desks. Most full of navis typing away their lives. How sad. This calls for some time off. she mumbles to herself, the generic navis pouring out of the box and assuming their position inside their cubicle. The out of place soldier clad woman finds herself an empty cubicle. Too many passive generics around to say anything about how she's not supposed to be here. She plops into a chair and hacks past what little defense this terminal had. Such are her skills of eyesight. As the password was taped to the monitor.
Once inside she browsed various files, peoples personal information, collected a few snips of data on choice navis she had heard about, and even looked up Inori using the information she had given Xeel. She really does like potato. So weird. Tired of this Xeel finally does her job. Taking out a small usb stick and shoving it into the terminal. She spins around in the chair while the virus uploads.

Out of Character (My antics amuse me and that's all that matters.)
After a passing minute the cries of several workers lamenting the loss of their work, inability to recover files, and a 'broken screen' signal the successful upload of the virus. The 'phones' begin buzzing with complaints of erased pages and lost data.
By this time Xeel had completed turning the cubicle she resided in into a Rube Goldberg machine of various post it notes, bobbing ducks, rubber bands and other office supplies... All set to, after a minute of shenanigans, set off one of the bombs gifted to her to use at the NSD building. A spare should one malfunction. Tadaa
Her work complete Xeel stands up, stretches and walks to the elevator. Waiting for minutes before it finally arrives. She enters, pushes 1, and just as the doors about to close shoots a quick finger gun to her contraption to begin the countdown to the longest vacation these schmucks will ever have.

Xeel *ding* the elevator arrives at the first floor, just in time for the Rube Goldberg machine to finally trip the bomb. It explodes in a fine display of raw power tearing apart each headless chicken jobber without delay. Blowing apart the entire floor and infecting each computer like its brethren did in the NSD.
Meanwhile, at the lobby. Xeel casually walks out of the building as the rumbling from above sets in. In the garden she hops out over the fence and disappears into the Element City streets.
HO hay der hope to see you gain der! the guard shouts, his goodbye unanswered. He is sad now.
/thread done! Huzza!
Deathy dunno if you collected yer expizzles but I'll write it anyway. Inori: 25/250 Xeel: 45/450 +10/100 bonus, apparently thread creators get that.
