Gravity Beetle nods to Joker as well, obviously accepting his answer. He got the feeling that there was more to both of these "Navis", but that would come out in due time... if they can adopt his views on the situation.
Gravity Beetle: Alright, now I have news for you both; your reasons are great, but by the time we're a real team, we're going to change them just a bit.
Gravity Beetle nods again, pausing for a moment as he does so.
Gravity Beetle: Your goals are now to show others that what they believe in matters, to change their lives, to show them that there's a better way to live, to show them that anyone and everyone has what it takes to protect what they stand for, and to protect your team!
Gravity Beetle pauses for a moment, looking to the two Navis before once again.
Gravity Beetle: In the moment that you can't fight for your own goal, someone will pick up that torch and fight for it for you. This is what we're going to become.
Now, you have five minutes to talk and work out a strategy, the I'm going to come at you like a truck. I want to see how you fight, see if you can work together, and let you see how I fight!
Unity's eyes widen at Gravity Beetle's statement...
Unity: f-five minutes sir?!
Gravity beetle: Let's make it 4 instead. If you're not ready the I'm sure that Juno or Gate would be more than happy to wait on you!
Unity almost looks like he's been shot through the heart at this. He looks off into space and nods before looking up to Joker sheepishly.
Unity: ...Mr. Joker, sir... I can't fight as I am now. My entire design is to support someone stronger than me. Please don't think this as rude, but could I please run your data through my OS? I promise you that I won't slow you down, sir!

Joker.DB
Joker narrowed his eyes, seeing what the commander had in mind. Their needs and beliefs could no longer just be their own; they had to be willing to fight for each and every one of their beliefs, to the very end. It was an effective mindset; they couldn't all be on the team for different purposes, else there would be disharmony and difference of opinion. If they all fought for the same things with the same vigor, they would be more effective. More efficient.
He knelt down, once again leveling himself off to keep eye contact with Unity. "If that is how you function best, I would be a fool to disallow it. I will allow you to run my processors on your OS; my main concern is if it would disconnect me from my own databases. Have I anything to worry about in that facet? I would be nothing if not for my database."

Unity lowers his head for a moment.
Unity: I'm not fully sure, I've never tried this with anyone connected to a database before. However, if that's the case then I'm sure that you'll be able to re-connect after I release you, so...
Unity reaches out and puts his hand on Joker and closes his eyes. The Navi "Unity" disappears, leaving only the gray aura that encases him, which moves to Joker and spreads out, overshadowing him. The aura pulses for a moment, then Joker re-emerges. His traditional Netfrican garb remains, but the colors have changed to a bright, royal blue and bright, glowing golden tones, similar to Unity. Spikes appear on the back of Joker's hands, and his Navi mark changes to the red checkmark-like mark that Unity displays. The aura, now resized to surround the giant Navi, flashes and spins, displaying a ring of sorts at hand-level that Joker can now use to see and make use of all of Unity's powers, though somehow in his mind he's now aware of them innately... just like he's now aware of Unity's voice in his mind.
Unity: Joker, can you hear me? You're now running on Unity.OS. Your processing speed should be around 1.25x what you're used to, and you have access to my own healing, evading, and powering-up skills. Before we begin, please see if you can access your database so that we know if I need to return you to the net proper.

Joker.DB
He nodded as Unity suggested they at least tried it, and, a moment later, he was whisked away from the Net and brought back anew.
The glanced over his change of design first, noting the change of color, the aura radiating from around him, the spikes from his hands and the Navi Crest on his chest. His own Navi Mark isn't displayed in his most basic form, so, while there was nothing to replace, Unity's mark still manifested on his chest.
What Unity would be immediately aware of is the absolutely massive amount of data that just entered his OS. At first glance, and even from his presence in the Network, Joker didn't appear to be a gigantic strain; within his own OS, however, the incredibly compacted and compressed data within Joker strained at full capacity. His data pool was absolutely massive, in comparison to the general navi. This was most definitely the properties of the Database he was talking about.
Joker heard Unity in his mind, and felt an innate awareness of his new skills. He wondered if the reverse were also true, and if the OS would be able to get an inkling to his own capabilities beyond data analysis, such as his ability to harness refined Bugged Data, called Crimson. He hadn't wanted to splay those cards onto the table so soon, but, it couldn't be helped, he supposed.
"I'll try now. I'll be downloading information files if it works; I hope you can handle the network activity."
Closing his eyes, Joker reaches out to his natural connection, a sever access request pinging from within Unity's OS to a satellite orbiting the planet. In their intricately connected status, Unity would be able to feel the satellite's presence and instantly feel the wealth of data and energy it possessed - many times larger than the largest database on Earth, and, yet, the data inside was practically compressed and compacted, erratic and living, to the point of making it nearly impossible to access safely.
[Authorizing Satellite Access . . . ]
Joker opened his eyes. This was good; he'd be able to connect to it, still. Now, to prepare against the Gravity Beetle. If Unity's OS made his processing power 25% more efficient, then his rate of data collection should also increase exponentially, as well as the rate of return information from the Satellite with which he is so intricately connected. First, though, he'd access a small connection, to increase his power and survival chances against him.
[Authorized. High Defense, Detected. Offense Files, accessed . . . downloaded. Connection: 20%]
Instantly, the compressed data within the satellite came coursing through his body, allocating its increased energy and allowing him to redesign his incredibly adaptable data on the spot. Data was surged into his combat protocols and energy efficiency, increasing overall strength and force behind his blows. A second later, he accessed the server again; this time, with a personal request.
[Authorized. Defense Files, accessed . . . downloaded. Connection: 40%]
The compacted data realigned itself once again within his form, compressing over his body like a cushion, making him slightly heavier and all the more durable for it. It wasn't a whole lot in comparison to data collected from multiple individuals at once, but, the longer this fight went on, the more data he could collect, and the better of a connection he could build.
"We're ready!"

Gravity Beetle raises a fist and holds it forward as he thrusts the monolithic golden axe-like horn atop his head to the sky. He stands tall and proud, looking to the newly fused Navi with an obvious determination in his eyes.
Gravity Beetle: Then show me what you can do!
Joker would feel a resolve rise in Unity, almost as though the small Navi was standing beside him now, raising his own fists fearlessly. The scope of the data that Joker was accessing was indeed expansive to say the least, but Unity's focus allows him to overcome it and look to the ONB commander before them.
Unity: I'll support you as best I can Joker, show him what you can do!

Joker.DB @ Unity Proxy
The massive amount of residual data built up within him began to suddenly exude outward, curling off of his body like a light red smoke from the sheer quantity of power in his possession. Suppressing the excess energy, wanting to keep Gravity Beetle guessing, the small aura of red smoke receeded back into his body.
For the time being, he would stretch his legs, testing the speed, strength and reaction timing he now possessed on the Unity OS. He needed to know what he could and couldn't do, but, more importantly, he needed to see if just brute force and good tactical measures would be enough against the Gravity Beetle. The longer he kept his crimson out of the equation, the better.
Alright, Unity. Let's see how fast we are, shall we? Despite his size, Joker was actually above average in the terms of speed. Uploaded into the OS, he could only presume he were even faster than before. Starting off for a head on assault, wanting to see how the commander would respond, Joker charged, holding his shoulder at the ready to bash into the Gravity Beetle.
This was a two fold purpose. If he didn't hit, he'd be able to see how the Beetle responded to full frontal assaults. If he landed the blow, he'd get a better understanding of his defensive measures, and be able to accommodate for a more powerful assault. As he charged, he would let up for but an instant on the commander before starting back at it again, changing direction as necessary to continuously barrate him, hoping to force a response for data collection.

And there it was already; the first mistake of the fight.
Gravity Beetle had not expected quite that much speed from the hulking figure, and is nearly knocked clean on his back from the imact. The first shoulder rush lands true and causes the ONB commander to slide back on his heels in a mild stun. The following few hits would also connect to a lesser degree, but in the end Gravity Beetle would finally hold up his hand and catch Joker mid-charge, nullifying his momentum as he does so.
Gravity Beetle: Decent open.
*Gravity Beetle then rears back his free hand and thrusts it forward. His palm is encased in a solid black energy that seems to momentarily change the flow of gravity in the immediate area. Joker is thrown away, though undamaged by the counter.
Gravity Beetle: Now let's see if you can keep it up.
Both of Gravity Beetle's hands become encased in the same black energy that he'd just used moments before. He thrusts his hands to the side and two black spheres... no, closer to voids in reality itself, appear. Each is roughly the size of a golfball. The two voids spread out and begin to orbit a few feet out from Gravity Beetle's body, distorting space as they travel around him. Gravity Beetle then leaps forward, closing roughly half of the gap between himself and Joker, and comes down like a ton of bricks. The entire battlefield quakes beneath his mountainous weight as bits of debris are shaken lose and thrown into the air. Already prepared for this, Gravity Beetle stretches his hand forward again, redirecting the gravity around the debris and causing a storm of rocks to fly forward towards Joker like meteors.

Joker.DB @ Unity Proxy
With each successive blow against the defender, Joker felt his offense getting less and less effective. This meant that he had an adaptive defensive method - it would get stronger the more he assaulted it. The quicker he finished this, and the more often he used bursts that would make his armor a moot point, the better off he would be.
The sudden burst of gravity sent him sprawling backwards, and Joker took a closer look at the black energy roiling off of the armored commander. That must be the visible effects of his gravity control. The shifting voids around him were likely useful as both methods of offense and defense - he was sure the density fields around them were astronomical. Chances are, a full frontal assault would only net him a lot of pain.
He didn't have much time to think of that, though. With him on the offensive, Joker lowered himself down on one knee and took to his satellite connection. The rock shower was met by a red sphere that suddenly appeared around his very being, covered in data points and analytical vectors. Each time a meteor struck the barrier, something of an equation branched across its surface, and Joker analyzed each one in the brief instance they struck.
[Temporary Access . . . Defense and Offense, 140%]
His defensive maneuvers allowed him to better analyze and get a better feel for his opponent, and to gain a stronger connection for that time to strengthen his already downloaded files. Raising up, his barrier dissipating, Joker decided to get a better look at his new defensive.
"I can keep up just fine. Just collecting data for now, anyways."
He held out his hand, his fist retracting into his sleeve. Tapping into his satellite's targeting systems, he locked on first, no visible reticles appearing - all the same, a dozen rockets suddenly streamed out of his flared sleeve like volley from a machine gun, soaring in all directions to challenge the Gravity Beetle's orbiting voids. As the rockets continue to pour out of his sleeve, they change in color; first, the plain old rockets, filled with condensed crimson that would explode before the Beetle would get a good look at it. He would definitely feel it, though, the incredibly condensed, refined bugged data, and would more than likely feel its build up within him as Joker began to use more.
The second set were purple rockets, and getting hit by these would weaken the Beetle's potent strength, the burst of chemicals released charged with data files from his satellite to emulate a powerful poison. The third and final were yellow, and these released and powerful electrical shock that would limit the beetle's maneuverability, to at least serve to slow him down and avoid another of his jumping assaults.

Gravity Beetle looks on to see the soon-to-come onslaught and clenches his fist. The spacial Navi sets his feet and sturdies his stance as his entire body suddenly begins to flash random colors from an intense force within his own body. The missiles begin to pummel Gravity Beetle at this point, yet they somehow fail to have any form of true effect. Then, as the final volley of rockets begins, Gravity beetle suddenly rushes from where he stands in a virtually invulnerable dash, closing the gap between himself and Joker and slamming the axe-blade on his front horn down like a ton of bricks at the end. The razor-edged weapon strikes with such force and weight that it cuts into the ground below like a laser, and is removed just as easily. Following this up, the two orbs of void, now roughly the size of basket balls, catch up and begin to orbit Gravity Beetle once again, now much closer to Joker than they had been before.
Gravity Beetle: Close combat, hard to escape. Let's see how you handle it now.
Gravity Beetle then raises his hand and sends off another golfball-sized orb into the sky as if he'd dropped it in reverse gravity. The orb rises roughly twenty feet before stopping and growing into an expansive gravitational anomaly that spans the entire battlefield. Bits and pieces of the battlefield begin to "fall" upwards into the void as gravity lessens. At this point, weight and traction are greatly lessened, while any upward momentum would be greatly increased, running the risk of colliding with the expanse of nothingness above.

Joker.DB @ Unity Proxy
Joker reeled backwards as Gravity Beetle suddenly came charging at him, raising his fists in front of his face and kneeling down to catch the brunt of the wild dash. Fast as he was, the sudden dart forward wasn't something he had considered, nor had he thought the beetle was capable of that level of speed. Were it not for his enhanced durability, he would've been far worse off than he already was.
He kept a close eye on the satellites around Gravity Beetle, the little gravity wells having grown much larger since they first started. Paired with the issue of the gravity expanse above them, Joker didn't have the leisure of movement without worrying for how the beetle would assail him for it. It was a clever range of control, no doubt, to be able to dictate how the opponent is to move about on the battlefield.
"Your battle status has risen signficantly since we've begun, and the density of your gravity wells have both increased with it. I wonder, can I make it go higher?"
If he put distance between them, he'd simply return to his invulnerable charge. The rotating gravity spheres were likely painful to touch, and he could already feel the effects of the expanse of gravity above them. His incredibly compressed data kept him on the ground without worries, but, any attempts at upward motion could prove fatal. Stacked on top of the massive amounts of damage the beetle was capable of taking in and dishing out, he was facing a very well rounded opponent.
His only hopes were to hit harder and faster than he could keep up. In short, he needed more data. And in order to get more data, he'd need to push the Gravity Beetle harder than he had been before.
A crimson aura once again began peeling off of his body like steam, and, rather than supress it, Joker allowed the excess crimson data to collect and surge across his body. The air within the crimson cloud was filled with static and distorted as though by heat, and the small space between him and the Gravity Beetle suddenly felt dense and heavy with intense bugged data - and, yet, the bugs made no change to the environment, and caused no immediate harm. Their presence was unmistakable, and, yet, neither was Joker's control over their refined form.
"Perhaps if I actually put in effort, I'll see more of yours?"
Joker steps forward, the crimson cloud hanging over his body suddenly surging downward, as he willed it to amass around his right hand. Clenching down into a fist, the off-red smoke, combined with the crimson he pulled from his core and his satellite, suddenly solidified, turning into a brilliant red sphere of incredibly compressed energy wrapped around his fist. Possessing a veritable nuclear reactor as a core, his body took highly volatile bugged materials and refined them into much more compacted, far more useful Crimson - this was his purpose. The incredibly small amount of crimson coating his hand required literal tons of bugged data to amass, and was compressed into the little sphere before it crystalized. His whole body was made of much, much more of the stuff.
He spun on his heel, bringing his fist swinging like a maul into the Gravity Beetle. "Gigant Swing!" Rapidly spinning on his heel, he swings his fist ever faster, pounding with all of his might against the armored shell, the crimson bashing against the defense and chinking off into his armor threatening to pierce straight through it with each shattering blow.

If he had a normal face, Gravity Beetle would be smiling in this moment. Joker's statement isn't lost, as this was exactly what the ONB commander had desired from the start; the Crimson manipulator was starting to get pushed back to a wall, and now they'd start to really test each-other.
The exact nature of the move immediately took Gravity Beetle off-guard. He hadn't expected Joker to be able to switch gears quite this quickly. very good to know. However, he also hadn't expected the condensed and refined bug data that he wields to come out with such power. The crimson-fuled fist arcs destructively forward in a show of massively refined destructive force... and misses. Gravity Beetle just barely drops back from the reality-smashing punch.
Gravity Beetle: If you want to hit...
Gravity Beetle then returns to fighting position, taking a few steps back as he does so.
Gravity Beetle: ...don't tell your opponent your next attack.
However, this would be the moment when Gravity Beetle suddenly begins experiencing pain. Despite the lack of contact with Joker's fist, the condensed crimson that enshrouded it still managed to spread across the commander's chest. Wasting no time, Gravity beetle generates a small void in his palm to remove it.
Gravity beetle: ...though I will admit, I'm impressed.
Even the residual damage from the hook was nothing to scoff at, so it was clear that a full impact from Joker's fist would have been terribly painful to deal with. Still, no time to dwell. Rearing his horn back again, Gravity Beetle clenches his fists and once again charges at Joker. However, this time the giant Navi would likely notice that it isn't purely with the axe-blade horn like last time. This time, his twin horns are actually set open and agape like jaws. The armored commander covers the distance with surprising speed... before a black void opens before him, swallowing him in an instant. A split second later a second void opens just inches behind Joker, and this would be when he'd feel it happen.
Gravity Beetle, newly emerged, snaps his horns shut like scissors, tightly gripping Joker's torso. Despite the behemoth's size and strength, it would be instantly obvious that his weight would be as nothing to the herculean Gravity Beetle, and one future is planned; a one-way trip into the black hole above. It would take swift thinking and the right plan to take freedom at this point, as a mistake now could likely end up catastrophic.

Joker.DB @ Unity Proxy
Suddenly, a void opens to swallow his quary, and Joker finds himself lifted in the air. Seconds were stretched across moments, it seemed like, as Joker was lifted from the ground, and the looming void of gravity above got ever closer.
It would seem that one of his postulates were correct. In his ability to manipulate space, the Gravity Beetle was able to manipulate where in space he could be. This was information he could put to use later; for now, he had to get out of this vice grip.
"And before you grab your opponents, make sure you know what you're biting into!" he said, in retort to the critique the commander offered on his fighting.
The crimson cloud around his body suddenly intensified, the red aura around his hand pulsating with power as the interference and bugged anamolies came to his call, rapidly compacting and condensing out of the air into the cloud around him. The weight of the bugged data accumulating around the Gravity Beetle seemed insignificant to the compressed, dense mass of crimson he was holding in between his horns, and with each passing instant, the mass Joker accumulated was growing. If the commander was going to show his true colors, might as well show his.
[Satellite Access: 200%. Finalizing . . . Authenticated]
The incredibly dense cloud of crimson suddenly solidifies around Joker, encasing the behemoth Navi within a dense shell of the material, his features swallowed entirely by the crimson glow. In the Beetle's grasp, Joker felt volatile and incredibly heavy, the massive amount of crimson - and, by comparison, utterly immeasurable mass of bugged data - within his very body surging. The weight of the bugged interference was gone from the air, and so too were whatever negative effects they had been having on the environment before they had crystalized. The crystalized, refined bugged data coating him stung to the touch, and even began to spread across whatever parts of the commander were still brave enough to remain in contact with him.
In the course of a few seconds, the mist formed, the shell solidified, and, in a burst of raw energy, suddenly exploded outwards, a massive amount of raw, condensed energy surging out in all directions from Joker as the focal point. When the crimson smoke cleared, the behemoth stood, but, changed.
His traditional Netfrican garb was traded out for practically gladitorial battle armor, a deep, crimson red in shade that coated his entire body. The robe from before was much shorter, revealing the massive shinguards and heavy crimson boots underneath. His shoulders had morphed, sporting gigantic rectangular pauldrons that were much thicker and wider than the rest of his body, not to mention that they rose a couple of inches above his head. The massive red gauntlets surrounding his hands were coated in a crimson cloud, the cyrstalized clouds following his movement like a solid mist.
His true form. Dread Joker inhaled deeply, the power of his satellite's full power surging through him. This feeling was what it meant to be alive. This feeling of raw power. "I am Dread Joker! I, too, and impressed. For the knowledge I had on you, I didn't think I'd need to take on my true form . . . that is, if you're still standing from that explosion."

Gravity Beetle holds on to Joker for as long as possible. With each passing moment the grip tightens and the final moment of the battle is driven closer and closer; a moment to show this Navi just what it means to be an OEL commander.
However, now would not be the time.
The sudden change takes Gravity Beetle's attention away from his vice-grip hold, and forces him to instantly drop from the offensive to the defensive. The Spacial Navi looses his grip and rears his head back while releasing Joker, simultaneously dropping his foe and putting himself into a better defensive stance. His arms raise into a blocking stance as he's pushed back by the force and a set of voids appear before him. These voids absorb and negate the vast majority of the crimson expelled from the database-Navi's body during his explosion and allows for a clear view of the change....
...meanwhile, Joker's body now shifts wildly between the royal blow tone of Unity's OS and its appropriate crimson hue. In his mind, Dread Joker would know that Unity was struggling to keep up with the change.
Unity: I'm sorry, sir... I've never had to handle such an intense amount of bugged data before. It's going to take me a little time to adjust!
The added power from Unity's OS, now only slight in comparison to Joker's own power, remains despite the fact that it was obvious that Unity himself was currently struggling to adapt to this terribly unorthodox and unexpectedly powerful change of pace.
Dropping his guard, Gravity Beetle takes a good look at the towering form of the newly revealed Dread Joker. A monolith of a Navi to say the least, and now far more impressive than he'd already been. Gravity beetle clenches his fists and suddenly rears his horn into the air in a show of pride and excitement as he looks forward. The rubble from the earlier blast now rises from the ground and begins to orbit the ONB commander as if he were a living planet. All the while he looks on with renewed resolve and determination.
Gravity Beetle: I wondered if you were hiding something from me...
Gravity Beetle's shell shines in the light of the battlefield as he slams a foot into the ground, shaking the entire platform as he does so.
Gravity Beetle: ...I don't have any fancy transformations or hidden powers to suddenly bring out, but that's not to say that you've seen how deep this rabbit hole goes yet. Now, let's see if you can live up to your name, "dread" Joker.
Gravity Beetle holds up his hand and motions for Joker to make his attack, an obviously undaunted "bring it on" gesture.

Dread Joker @ Unity Proxy
Dread Joker narrowed his vision a little, having almost forgotten about the little Navi whose proxy he was running on. So focused on the battle at hand, he hadn't been paying much attention to the little fellow he was practically flooding with information. Try not to put so much of the strain on yourself. Worry about supporting my parameters - I'll worry about supporting my satellite connection. My data is effectively running on three different servers, so, I'm feeling a bit stretched, myself; but, I was still only using a small fractal of my processing power. The real fight starts here, Unity.
"Fine, then. You've yet to push me to my own limits - I want to see if you can!" As with everything else, this was simply another chance to collect data. If he said his abilities were far more expansive than what he's seen thus far, then, he wanted to see more. He wanted more information, more nuances of data, to add into the infinitely vast collective of his satellite core. More importantly, he wanted to feel alive.
This was what it felt like to be alive.
Dread Joker raised his hand, a massive amount of crimson already forming around his fist. Slamming it into the ground, the whole of the arena shook underneath its weight, but, not with a cataclysmic earthquake in mind - no, tiny red lines darted out from his impact, rapidly tracing across the landscape like a grid map. The lines quickly surged out, and mapped out a small square just underneath the Gravity Beetle -
- and no sooner had the square appeared did the air suddenly feel dense with energy, bugged matter quickly amassing and crystalizing, the red material taking form into an absolutely massive black tower that threatened to form in the very space Gravity Beetle occupied. The material surged up and quickly solidified, threatening to crush him in its incredibly compacted density.
As Dread Joker lifted his hand off of the ground, the red lines receeded, but, continued to circle the battlefield, still threatening. At this point, all he had to do was send a simple request to the satellite, and he could unleash anything with the flexibility his crimson data had to offer. Around him, the massive cloud of crimson data, already crystalized like a dense cloud rather than mist, suddenly broke apart and took form, a series of missiles forming in the air around him to barrage his commander from afar. Before the missiles had even met their mark, or even trailed across the sky very far at all, Dread Joker's form all but dissipates, as he simply willed his crimson data to be somewhere else, and he rematerializes in front of the Gravity Beetle, crimson data racing across his hand to transform into a malicious, iron-wrought ax.
"Let's see if you can keep up!" He swings the heavy weapon, nearly as tall as he was, and, as the arc of the ax completes, the weapon nearly entirely disintegrates, the crimson mass instantly warping into a set of three spheres that collected around the Gravity Beetle. The massive spheres of crimson instantly erupt once formed, the dense mass of glitched data within them released many tens of times stronger than the data they had absorbed. Dread Joker, still at point-blank with the commander, didn't seem at all bothered by the density of bugged matter floating in the air, as nearly as soon as it exploded it condensed back into crimson that he absorbed. The bugged anamolies had but an instant to affect the net around them, and it wasn't enough time for them to really register as anamolies before they were absorbed by the incredible bugged singularity that was Dread Joker.
He jumped back, a series of his gigaton blocks erecting out of the ground underneath him as he lept away, limiting the commander's movements. Usually, his focus was on eradication of a large number of targets all at once, where his data analysis skills could be perfected and used to the greatest extend. In this case, he had to supplement data he couldn't collect from the commander with data he had collected on individuals before; even if he wasn't fighting at his full potential, he still had his tactical expertise. At this point, the battlefield was alight with calculations, distances, radii, measurements and formulae within his vision, like the effects of gravity around the Gravity Beetle or the exact expanse of his explosions and just how far away he and the commander were right that instant. Everything was mapped out, every movement and every decision carefully calculated . . .
Everything was ran through his satellite, and it all felt envigorating.
Dread Joker kneeled back, almost taking a knee as he charged up two massive spheres of energy within his hands. It wasn't nearly as powerful as the fully charged assault, but, that could come in due time. A small scale strike was nearly as devastating. Lunging forward, he fused the two spheres into one, and the massive amount of energy ionized and broke down into figures of light - a gigantic crimson laser blazed forth from his hands, three meters in diameter, ripping up the terrain as it blazed by, turning the ground and debris as it passed by into crimson shells before they, too, were absorbed into its all-consuming blaze. This was energy channeled through his very being, yes, but, the majority of that power compacted within that laser was directly from his satellite.
And as much energy he expended in those brief movements, the massive crimson cloud once again amassing around his body suggested that he was nowhere near his reserve limits.

Gravity Beetle looks on to the Dread Joker as the crimson menace begins his attack. He makes note of the lines forming beneath him, but rather than try to escape he braces himself, bringing his arms across his face. The tower rises and its harsh, destructive force engulfs the ONB commander, yet he holds his position. After a few moments, he thrusts his arms to his sides with a grunt, causing the tower to pixelate and shatter. Gravity Beetle continues to hold his ground against Joker as the behemoth swings his weapon, meeting it with the axe-blade affixed to his helmet and stopping its momentum entirely. Next are the orbs that the weapon gave rise to, which begin flooding Gravity Beetle's position with glitched data in deep, harsh waves. The herculean Navi thrusts his arms out and generates a powerful gravitational force, causing the data to lens around his form and dissipate before dealing full damage, leaving the commander still planted where he'd started.
...and then came the big attack. Seeing what Joker had planned... more or less... Gravity Beetle reaches his hands out and absorbs the two gravitational voids that had been orbiting him from the start. The two black-holes, now roughly four feet across, rush in and merge into Gravity Beetle. The result of this is the commander himself appearing as nothing but a black void on the battlefield, a gravity well of sorts. Next, he glances up at the expansive void above. With a wave of his hand, he causes the nothingness above to contract into an area roughly 10-feet around and focus directly above him.
And now he was ready.
As Joker releases his crimson beam, Gravity Beetle thrusts both hands forward. His own gravitational polarity reverses, and the polarity of the void above increases. As a result, the massive beam draws near and suddenly bends upwards, shooting off into the sky rather than engulfing the ONB commander. Only the edge of the beam impacts, grazing Gravity Beetle and causing his body to heat up and burn with the bugged data, yet not enough for him to drop his deflection tactic.
With the beam over, Gravity Beetle releases his orbs, allowing them to once again orbit him as he plants a foot forward and motions downward, obviously showing that he hadn't budged from that spot since the beginning.
Gravity Beetle: Very flashy. But did you intend to actually damage me today?
Gravity Beetle was partly bluffing. While he was largely unharmed, the indirect damage had been higher than expected... and he couldn't help but feel excited about that. Things were g-
...
Gravity Beetle's attention suddenly breaks. He felt something. Something changed in Electopia, and it was far deeper than it seemed. His eyes narrow as he looks around, raising a hand to Joker as if to say "stop". Everything looked normal, but something was wrong.. as if an air of death had just entered the room.
Gravity Beetle: ...Enough. Did you feel that just now?
