Shine had fought a lot of people now and was looking forward to learning more ways to improve herself by fighting a new opponent. Though unbefitting of a spy, she immediately ran at her enemy and attacked them on sight. Maybe that was one of those things she needed to improve on, but she'd know for sure after this fight at least.

Having a spy run straight at you was weird, but he created a barrier of laser energies anyway that she cut through a bit. And then he prepared his guns, mirrors opening up as a result as he aimed at it and fired first, hitting both as they reflected back and forth as they became four, each darting toward Shine as he unleashed several more rounds of attacks right after at her.

That was absolutely a thing she needed to work on! Shine ducked and dive as needed to evade all of the incoming lasers, but one managed to strike true. Sensing the heat of the lasers charging up for another round, Shine channeled her full power to desperately attack Zaven while she still could.

Zaven was pretty surprised she made it out of that, but dodged the gunfire before taking the rest, spraying his own barrage at her while she came at him. Defensive fire generally meant shooting them back while they shot or cut you, right? So shoot them down first before it could ever go down and that just meant that you managed to shoot them down. Gunning folks down was his job, so here he was.

After being burnt out and failing to bring down her opponent, Shine braced herself as best she could for the lasers but it was just barely not enough to make it through. She was okay with defeat though because it showed her where her flaws were so that later she could fix them.

SE - Sniping Zone S-Type Seeking Element As if at the gunning range, Shine wastes no time firing at his target, primarily aiming to weaken their defenses and their offensive prowess. Mega Chip Damage, Can hit up to three targets. Undodgable, Cuts Auras, Avoid Separately. Hit targets have -10 Armor per successful hit for two turns and -10 Damage per successful hit for two turns.
