[This thread is for Kajira, Serix, and Blues as initial participants]
Blues entered his office, plain white all the way through with a modest desk. Leading behind him those ONB aligned that were with him as they left the Electopian Border. Kajira and Serix. The other, Spartan, had been sent off to undergo regular questioning. Moving behind his desk into his black chair, Blues relaxed at last, letting out an audible sigh as his blade arm turned back into a regular hand. His head moved to the three he had brought in, looking at each individually. He knew what they were each here for, despite that he brought them in.
Blues: "Alright then, I think it's time for a report, then you can get paid. Kajira I heard from one of the survivors of the massacre that went on there that you were there almost from the start. So please begin."
Kajira wasn't dreading the whole of the situation, per se. It was more the fact that the entire thing had blown up in a way that she hadn't really been able to fully respond to...and that frustrated her. It came off, she was certain, in the way that she was carrying herself and beyond that, how things were simply being presented from her. Still, she had a duty to do, and that involved giving her report to the fullest extent, and leaving out nothing.
"Yes sir. When I arrived on the scene, I was made aware of several things from the outset. First and foremost, that Ruin was present, as was Agent Nightshade, who was attempting to talk Ruin down from his...goal...of breaking through the border." She wanted to utter another half-dozen other names before she settled on Goal. Depsite her own anger at their failing, and herself, she had no need to not be professional. "Beyond Ruin...we also made note of Jinko there as well, who was deleted before you arrived."
She exhaled, then. "Nightshade was attempting to talk down Ruin when I arrived, as well as calling in backup from anyone available. During this time, we were also joined but who I found later was Spartan, and another Navi that we've had our eye on for her destructive power, Rosary. Knowing ahead of time from Agent Iria's reports that no amount of communication was going to stop Ruin from doing what he does, I had initiated the order for Ruin to stand down. At this point, Rosary had wanted to engage in blows with Ruin and we had believed that at this point, we may have a temporary ally."
She exhaled once more, this one a bit more frustrated.
"She did not assist us. Ruin had convinced her, in very few words, that I was a worthy target instead. It was at this point, given that Jinko had been attacking our own, but I had hoped that they would be able to resist and so had requested that Nightshade intervene to deal with Rosary. He instead was so overcome with confusion, or perhaps hesitation, I don't know which- that will be a question for him- that his actions were of little consequence and did little to ensure her arrest, leaving me to attempt to handle Rosary while also attempting to prevent Ruin from going through the gates. Seeing Ruin as the bigger obstacle, I opted to simply avoid Rosary as best I could while generating what offence I was able to while avoiding Rosary's strikes to attempt to bring him down, or at least delay him until the arrival of backup."
"Trishula appeared some time later, sealing the boundary with a missile, but rather than assist with apprehension of Ruin, had instead opted to let Ruin flee the scene after making a jab at Ruin's pride. He had assisted in weakening Rosary and deleting Jinko- but by that point, Nightshade was nearly out of commission and I had taken some damage from Rosary, leaving me with very few options. He had moved onto attacking Spartan, which given his lack of involvement was either a sound or a rash decision, but there was little answer to be found there. I did what I could to stop Ruin from crossing the border with my Gun Del Sol chips, but his Darksoul...just seemed to absorb them, rather than be damaged by them. I don't know what that could mean. Shortly thereafter, Serix and yourself arrived, and Nightshade was...as you saw him."
She paused for a moment, as if playing the scene over in her head before deciding that was all that she could come up with, and gave another salute. "That sums up the encounter, sir."
The red navi thought on the report from Kajira. Looking to her then to Serix, Blues tapped a space on his desk, which lit up and a small ring around Serix appeared.
Blues: "Serix, You can get your payment with HR. I'll transport you there now."
The ring around Serix soon turned into a cylinder surrounding her, before transporting her data elsewhere in the complex, leaving only Kajira and Blues in the room. Tapping a few more spaces on the desk, Blues popped up a small screen filled with text, scrolling through it leisurely. He looked back to Kajira, then to the document, then back to The Lightning Queen.
Blues: "So it seems Ruin got away without much effort on his part. We only had data on his combat abilities, so I suppose we should mostly view this as a learning expereience. Despite Trishula allowing him to leave, having him in Electopia where we can actually search for him is fine. Besides, if he's as smart as this encounter leads us to believe, he won't be making a ruckus for some time.
Also, My notes from others here say you had quite the time in Bayside City as well, I don't think I have your report from that yet either, care to go over it with me now? We can also go over your payment for both jobs at once then."
