[Civilian/Light-Combat Style <LC> (Bipedal)]
--[HEIGHT]: 5’7” |Note: Current height is not final|
--[DESCRIPTION]: When Avalanche is in his four-legged form, it is even more noticeable that he resembles the Smilodon he was modeled after. One such trait, is the fact his forelegs are longer than his hind legs. As a result, it gives the impression he has a top heavy appearance, especially when the Quad version's more robust build is taken into account. Excluding these differences, there are not many changes in his appearance from his bipedal version.
--[ARMOR]: The combination of tank top and cargo pants are no longer present. In their place is armor that provides protection in more places than the version used by the bipedal version. The armor itself is the same dark purple color used by the tank top, however, now taking the appearance of a full body jumpsuit. The jumpsuit is designed to not be restrictive and allow for the same ease of movement. Like felines belonging to the domesticated and wild varieties, his paw pads also specialize in noise cancellation.
--[HELMET]: A helmet is present for Quad LC, as to provide additional protection to Avalanche’s overall armor. The helmet has the same color scheme as the jumpsuit, however, it only covers the top of his head, cheeks and extends to his muzzle. This allows for his jaws to keep their freedom of movement.
--[GEAR]: The silver, metal plating which was present on the Reactor Gloves, are now placed along the length of Avalanche's spine and the back of his shoulders. Unlike the fingerless gloves, the plating is covered, so as to conceal its presence. Also, the special gel which was embedded inside the gloves, has been programmed to absorb damage from all areas the jumpsuit covers. Meaning outside of his face, paws, and the entire length of his tail, the jumpsuit awards the same damage reduction properties as the gloves.
--[BUILD]: As mentioned previously, the FC gives Avalanche a build which emphasizes bulk and muscle. The breadth of his shoulders, chest, back, and arms more clearly demonstrates this difference, as they are still uncovered by any armor. However, those attempting to land blows on those areas, especially his arms, will be surprised by their hardness. The fur which covers his arms feels more like a hard metal of some kind, which in turn makes them more resistant to damage. His legs are also more bulky and solid in their appearance, and this gives him the same increase in strength as it does for his arms.
--[ARMOR]: In FC Style, Avalanche now wears a full suit of armor which is the same jumpsuit present in Quad LC. It keeps the same dark purple color, but adjustments made to the armor drastically alter its appearance. There is now a collar guard which is made out of the same material which composes his jumpsuit. But, in this case, it is layered and styled so that there is no longer easy access to his neck. The layers which form the collar guard are on the thin side, but their combined strength and the number used provide Avalanche with enough defensive power to potentially repel attacks directed there. Key areas such as his chest, back, and legs also receive additional layers of this defensive padding. The number of layers used in those areas differ, as so they do not hinder Avalanche when he is on the move. The combined bulk of these alloy layers in some cases is enough to alter the appearance of his armor. Which is why the chest piece looks like an altered version of the thick, damage resistant armor found on knights. It is altered, as the armor does not cover his stomach; leaving this region exposed, or so it would appear. There is a layer of transparent colored alloy present which connects the pieces of chest and leg armor. It is a different type of alloy that was designed to be several times stronger than the alloy covering his body. It is this very substance which also coats his arms and shoulders; eliminating the need for armor in these places.
--[HELMET]: N/A
--[DRIVE GAUNTLETS]: The Reactor Gloves present in LC Style, have been replaced with clawed gauntlets which reach up to his elbows. The gauntlets, known as Drive Gauntlets, have the same black color as the gloves, and they are made up of segmented layers which are fused together in order to form them. For each finger, a total of four segments are used, while the thumbs only have three. Three segments are also used for the part of the gauntlet which reaches towards his elbows. On the sides of the Drive Gauntlets which face away from Avalanche's body, there is an opening which is roughly a centimeter wide. Through this opening, an energy blade composed of energy from Avalanche's Catalyst Cartridges can appear. The gauntlets, like his armor, were created with the intent of assisting in efforts to create Catalyst Cartridges. Which is why the gauntlets are also capable of deconstructing the Cartridges so they can be used as raw energy in numerous ways. The gauntlets are also capable of bypassing the conversion process and able to use the energy in its natural state. Similar openings with the height of a quarter are positioned on Avalanche's knuckles; they perform the same function as those on the sides of his arms. In addition, the inside portion of the gauntlets which fit over his palm and fingers contain the same gel substance as the fingerless gloves. This gel is also present in the bottom of his shoes, in turn the shock from landing from considerable heights is reduced. His shoes, for this purpose, contain the greatest amount of gel.
Appearance
--[HEIGHT]: 5’11” |Note: Current height is not final|
--[EYES]: The color of his eyes are those of an amethyst gem, and their vivid hue makes the purple coloration seem more vibrant. Towards the pupil, the color darkens slightly, giving his overall eye color a two-toned color.
--[FACIAL FEATURES]: When it comes to his facial features, they are somewhat youthful looking. This suggests he is somewhere between his adolescent and young adult years.
--[DESCRIPTION]:]His appearance is similar to that of a bipedal Smilodon with there being some differences concerning his coloration, markings, and tail. Avalanche's tail has a length which is roughly the same as a tiger's.
--[FUR and MARKINGS]: The primary color of his fur is a light, blue-ish white. The combination of blue and white gives Avalanche the appearance of snow when it reflects the azure color of the sky. Typically this effect is created when sunlight hits it at a certain angle. However, these lighter colors gradually grow darker as the color travels along the strands of fur. Towards the 1/4 mark of where the tip of a fur strand would begin, it takes on a neon glacier-blue coloration. However, areas given this darker, somewhat glowing color are exclusive to areas such as the regions past his cheek bones, around his shoulders and upper arms, palms of his paw-like hands, feet/paws, and his tail tip. Tiger stripes which have a navy-blue coloration are visible on his face, hands, feet, and tail. In between his ears, around the top of his head, is a tuft of fur which resembles a short Mohawk-like mane. This mane reaches towards the spot where his neck intersects with the beginning of his shoulders. Unlike the rest of his fur, this is the only region which has a fiery, orange coloration; as if the marking were a highlight.
--[CLOTHING]: Avalanche wears a dark purple tank top along with a pair of baggy, beige colored cargo pants. Despite their appearance, the clothes are made out of special material which makes them durable and resistant to damage. This material is a type of alloy that offers its wear both a certain level of defensive power, and also remains flexible for ease and comfort of use.
--[BUILD]: While in Civilian/Light-Combat Style, Avalanche has a build which looks leaner when compared to the more bulky and broad appearance he has in Full-Combat Style. However, the solid, rippling muscles are no less powerful. Avalanche's build also allows him to be athletic and agile with reflexes that have lightning quick response times.
--[ARMOR]: Since this Style was designed with the intent of having Avalanche participate in either light to mild training or sparring sessions, it has less armor than its counterpart. The clothing on his body serves as armor for LC Style. Despite being so light, the armor that is present has damage absorbent properties. This is not exclusive to LC Styled armor alone, as the material used to create his armor for other forms have this same characteristic. Also, equipment such as his Reactor Gloves and Drive Gauntlets contain a special gel where this same effect is created.
--[HELMET]: No helmet is present when LC Style is active.
--[REACTOR GLOVES]: A pair of black, fingerless gloves with a heavy, silver plate positioned where it rests in between the joints of his hand needed to form a fist. In addition, there is a gel like substance contained within the gloves. More specifically, the gloves were designed to have pockets of space which would contain the gel. The space in between each pocket resulted in a groove being formed. The combination is used to ensure Avalanche keeps a strong and secure grip on external weaponry. Also, the gel helps prevent Avalanche’s hands from cramping up or tiring as easily. The gel serves an additional purpose in which it helps to cushion or stop punches, kicks, sword strikes, etc. However, the effectiveness of this depends on how well Avalanche can defend himself.

Avalanche’s personality is that of a young feline whose age falls between adolescence and adulthood. His understanding of how the world works is enough to keep from being considered a naïve cub. But, he still lacks the experience and power in order to be recognized as an adult. Making the transition from teenager to young adult, is no easy task, as Avalanche is gradually becoming more aware of. Add the instincts of a wild animal into the mix, and sometimes things start taking on their own unique twists and turns. But, it is not something he views as a bad thing. Felines tend to only learn their lesson after experiencing a less than glorious moment first hand. Avalanche is certainly no exception to that rule either. After all, what better way for an adolescent Smilodon themed Navi to make his way in the world, than through trial and error? Or, at least that is what Avalanche would claim. His personality is such, that if it catches his interest, he’s bound to want to explore and test boundaries. Which is why it is not unusual for him to be seen engaging in activities others would consider reckless; or even pointless.

-After striking out on his own, Avalanche’s taken an active interest in humans and how technology influences their society. Aided by the fact he is in ownership of a Digital Safari holographic program customized for his use, he is able to roam both the Net and real world as a hologram.
-He spent a lot of time interacting with humans after the short time which passed since his creation. This is why he is usually carefree around them and enjoys playing with children.
-Like others around his age, Avalanche has times where he can get up to no good. Most of his antics involve tampering with some machine or electrical appliance. If things don’t go as planned, he either tries to accept responsibility or flee the scene.
-As he was raised to behave like a wild animal, his instincts can conflict with his sense of judgement.
Negative:
-Avalanche’s experiences regarding serious or dangerous situations involving humans are limited. His inexperience when dealing with such matters often cause him to fall back on instinct.
-If cornered, Avalanche is prone to either lashing out or destroying things in his vicinity in order to get away. His ability to distinguish friend from foe can sometimes be hampered, but it depends on how great his agitation levels have become.

Avalanche's life started out inside the Research and Development department of Digital Safari Museum; one of their labs to be exact. The details behind his creation had not been explained until after his initial examinations. He was the latest addition to one of the more interactive exhibits featured at the museum. This feature was known as the Dueling Wilds exhibit, and it was divided into two categories; one for modern day animals and the other their extinct counterparts. The Navis belonging to either division were designed to provide visitors with glimpses of how animals lived their lives, and give them the chance to interact with animals in a way they never could. Through the use of texturized holograms, visitors had the option of choosing from touching a simulated version of bear fur, or even the scales of a dinosaur. NetNavis like Avalanche could interact with visitors to the museum in other ways, but as their Default Forms instead of the animal they were based on. For the newly created Avalanche, having the opportunity to interact with humans who visited him and the other Smilodon themed Navis was one of the best parts. In many ways, he was just like the eager and curious onlookers, as he shared a mutual desire to learn about the other party. The museum also offered visitors the ability to travel through simulated environments by jeep and experience being chased by a variety of different species of animals. The culprits behind the chases were often species known for displaying either predatory tendencies, territorial behaviors, or both. All of this was accomplished through the use of a more advanced version. However, being educational material were not the only things which inspired the creation of Avalanche and his co-workers.
In order to keep guests interested enough to keep coming back, the museum decided to have a stadium built and hold Net Battles there. The match-ups would feature animals against their natural born enemies, such as predator and prey; or species which were rivals to one another. There were also special matches were the contestants would be species which under normal circumstances would never meet; let alone fight. These Net Battles were not limited to having the Navis fight in there animal forms, they could also compete in their Navi Form or their more advanced 50% and 100% Forms. To Avalanche's annoyance, he was unable to participate in those fights, as he lacked the experience and power to properly handle his 50% and 100% Forms. The only thing which prevented him from being discouraged by his inexperience, was the fact the battles he fought in his Default Form were both intense and exciting in their own way. The frequent battles were beneficial to the museum’s Navis as it kept their skills sharp. The Navis were not permitted to leave the museum’s grounds as a precautionary measure to defend against potential incidents. The human members of the staff were aware of how unusual it was to have a stadium built and encourage their Navis to engage in fierce battles. Yet, they also felt it was one of the best ways to keep the Navis from becoming bored by repeating the same routines over and over. There was the extra benefit of having the museum’s Navis becoming strong enough to deal with those who would threaten the museum and its guests. With the Navis also being equipped with the latest in cutting edge technology and steadily growing in power, these factors served in being an effective deterrent in repelling troublemakers. At least, for the most part, there were a few instances when Net OPs and their Navis caused scenes on museum property. Such situations were on the rare side, so Avalanche primarily spent his days believing these familiar, peaceful, and fulfilling days would continue without end...
Without warning, Avalanche along with the other Navis had been gathered for a meeting with Digital Safari Museum’s curator. The Navis had found the sudden faculty meeting to be unusual, as it was taking place on one of their days off. The timing felt foreboding so they suspected some sort of incident had taken place. Ironically, their suspicions were partially correct, although not in the way they assumed. To the dismay of both humans and Navis alike, the staff members were informed of the museum’s impending closing. An uproar followed the announcement, as none present could understand why the museum was closing. The exhibits, expeditions, and NetBattles were all popular among guests, and the museum itself stayed busy whenever it was open for business. Despite all of this, the curator informed them the museum was closing due to a lack of funds. But, while this was the case, the expenses the museum had to pay had reached the point where it caused the museum to not make as much Zenny as it needed to continue to stay in business. It was still disappointing, but some of the staff members were able to come to an understanding about why the choice had been made. Others were still reluctant to accept the fact the museum would soon no longer be around. The Navis in particular were not happy about this turn of events. This meant they wouldn't have a place to go without any sort of arrangements being made. Or, at least this was what they thought would happen. It turns out the curator had a second piece of information to share with them, and it was no less surprising than the first. A decision had been made to release all of the museum’s Navis out into the wild and live as Solo Navis. The Navis did not fail to meet expectations as they once again went into an uproar, with this one being even bigger than the first. But, who could blame them? There was no way they could have ever anticipated that they would be turned out onto the streets like a bunch of wild animals. Yet, it was the curator's and other members of the managerial positions who decided to enforce one of the museum’s core beliefs; to let wild animals live life as they were designed to do. In the eyes of many, this was an extreme alternative to the more common choices of selling the Navis to other businesses or potential Net Ops. It was hard to believe this path would be more beneficial to the Navis in the long run. Wild instincts were programmed to drive and influence most of the behavior found in every Navi. Much like in the way an animal raised in captivity was still undomesticated at heart, so too were the Navis. No matter how mild-tempered a Navi’s disposition was, every last one of them was prone to behaving aggressively at any given moment. Even those like Avalanche who were fond of humans were no exception to this rule. So, how could the creator and his supporters still believe this was the correct course of action?
It all boiled down to the principle that humans posed the greatest risk to animals, and their Navi counterparts. To them, the only interference humans were allowed to do was to conserve and rehabilitate wild animals before releasing them. Strong views like this were the driving force behind the curator’s decision. Against this sort of reasoning, it was impossible to change his mind even with solid arguments. Until the very last moment there were individuals who still tried unsuccessfully to convince the curator. In the end, nothing could be done, and so time continued to pass mercilessly until the museum’s official closing day arrived. Unable to deny reality any longer, the Navis mentally and emotionally resolved themselves to finally leave the only place they ever called home. They knew it was better to stick to being in groups, but it was impossible for certain individuals to remain peaceful around others. Therefore, it was decided that those who were of the same species and/or exist alongside those belonging to different ones would travel together. Navis who were based off of animal species which lived solitary existences knew that for them, this arrangement was temporary. Sooner or later, they would break away from the rest of their party and carve out their own existences as loners. Those which were herd or pack-minded were more likely to band together for life, but there were still exceptions. Like their animal counterparts, there would be individuals who left their family groups behind once they reached a certain point in life. Avalanche was one of such Navis, as he was one of many who were in between the stages of adolescence and full maturity. He had remained with the other Smilodon themed Navis for a few months before finally striking out on his own. Aided by the custom holographic program, Avalanche like the other Navis from the museum now spend their days both in the real world and on the Net.

Catalyst Cartridge
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv*Cartridges are RP Exclusive
Catalyst Cartridges and their related systems are mechanics designed exclusively for the Navis of Digital Safari Museum. The driving force behind the creation of Cartridges was the need to attract more guests to the museum. In order to compete with the power displayed by the NetNavis born from the latest technological advances, the museum's R and D department developed the resulting mechanic and systems. When the raw energy present in the NetNavi's body is processed and converted into internal containment units, it becomes a Catalyst Cartridge. These Cartridges are able to prompt a series of different results from within a Navi.
Active Use [AU]
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvCartridges assigned the designation Active Use come with the identifying tag of [AU]. These Catalyst Cartridges are used exclusively for combat. This means that they are only usable in battle, and cannot be converted into their Standard Use [SU] counterpart.[AU] Cartridges are generated by either the Nuclear Reactor Program, or Catalyst Cartridge Drive System. The difference between both methods is that the Nuclear Reactor focuses on internal creation of Cartridges, while the Drive System is the opposite. As a result of their differences, the two methods also generate [AU] Cartridges at different rates. Lastly, any Active Use Cartridges that were not used in the present battle are deconstructed after the battle concludes. Avalanche’s current systems are incapable of properly handling these leftover Cartridges, and so must be returned to their original state.
Active Reserve [AR]
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvEvery version of Avalanche’s Drive System has a limit on how many Active Use Cartridges he can use at any time. This limit exists so the excess energy from the extra Cartridges does not overload Avalanche’s body. When the maximum capacity is reached, any other Cartridges produced are designated as Active Reserves[AR]. These Reserve Cartridges are automatically substituted for any Active Use Cartridges which were consumed. Active Reserves cannot be converted for use outside of battle. Also, Active Reserves are deconstructed upon the conclusion of battle.
Standard Use [SU]
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvStandard Use Cartridges are also developed by the Nuclear Reactor Program, so this means they share the same development rates. Standard Use Cartridges differ from Active Use Cartridges based on functionality. This type of Cartridge is used for day to day activities. These Cartridges also ensure Avalanche has the energy necessary to access his 50% and 100% Modes outside of battle. Since these Modes are currently unavailable to him, he primarily uses Standard Use Cartridges for supplementing his power. This gives Avalanche the flexibility to be better prepared when handling a variety of situations. However, they are not a reliable source of power for battles, which is why they cannot be converted into Active Use Cartridges. The power boosts they provide have a time limit as to how long their effects last. As a result, Avalanche has to use them sparingly when he’s caught in dire situations.

Nuclear Reactor Program
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvS-Tier Passive
The Nuclear Reactor Program is a single component of a two part system for Avalanche. Avalanche's attack power increases throughout the battle.
Every turn, 4 points are added to Avalanche's attack. Up to a max of 20 points can be added.
Catalyst Cartridge Drive System <Upgrade LV:1>
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
C-Tier Passive [Absorb]
The Catalyst Cartridge Drive System is the second component of a two part system for Avalanche. By working together with the Reactor Gloves/Drive Gauntlets and the armor Avalanche is equipped with, a portion of the opponent's attack is absorbed. The absorbed attack power is then transferred into Avalanche's armor and increases its defensive power.
Every attack received by Avalanche increases his armor by 2 points. Up to a max of 20 points can be added.
