V21 Approved (Warrior || 7/27/20)
-Navi Name: Nightshade.Rx
--Appearance: Nightshade takes mostly a humanoid appereance with a few cat/big cat details here and there, namely: claws and tail. Standing 6'2" tall (at least, in theory) he is overall a sleek and lean guy. His outfit is composed of a black undersuit riddled with neon green markings of various shapes. From his knees down a pair of tight fit, open toed, sickly greenish-gray boots crafted from a strange, rubber like compound cover his shins and feet. Chest armor, helmet and arm braces share the same gray-ish color and material of his boots. On his "ear protection" his own emblem has been engraved, still in neon color. A black face mask covers up mouth and nose, while a green visor covers his deep, sapphire blue eyes. Heavy dark eye circle and a nasty looking scar on his left arm (covered by the suit) are just the tip of the iceberg concerning his Curse.

--Personality: Nightshade appears cold and composed most of the time. That doesn't mean that he won't show joy or friendship, he's just an introvert navi. Sharp thinker, yet very impuslive. Somewhat nihilistic, he originally disliked any sort of direct confrontation in fear of getting deleted. Now, after being corrupted by Cybeast Gregar, his fight style has evolved into a more aggressive feral assault.
He does have his way around things with words and sly remarks, while surely full of witty one liners for almost any situation. He has a preference for close range combat and reactive fight style, but such does not limit him from using any of his ranged options.

--Background:
Created to help the needs of his Operator, Nightshade's early "life" had never been that eventful. If anything it could all be described as "been there, done that". With time, he was shaped more and more into a digital copy of his human partner and granted some degree of indipendence. Shane (20 years old, 6'2 black haired - green eyed male), his NetOp, was eventually employed in his father's Private Eye agency (referred simply as Nebula System Dynamics or NSD, in no way shape or form related to the 500 years old Nebula Organization). From there, the two would eventually be found snooping around both the net and the real world to help his father's research from time to time and later recruited by the ONB in the Echo Ridge precinct.
Nightshade would then meet Thrash, a mysterious navi with a complex and untold past, evetually developing a strong bond with her to the point of being able to access her DoubleSoul. Training harder each day, he would soon meet two other navis that would become part of his small group of friends: Inori and her "Mother" Rosary. Soon enough, he would come to blows with various foes in his path to become stronger, gaining more and more confidence in his abilities. He would later on be forced in a face to face with one of Electopia's most wanted criminals: Ruin. Unable to contain the criminal, Nightshade would then solely focus on attaining more power and set off to find the cybeasts, seen in his mind as the strongest beings in the net.
Sent on an undercover mission, he later found himself trapped in Netopia. With his life threatened by permadeletion, he would ally with the NIA to help discover the secret machinations of a navi named Magnolia. During said investigation, he would eventually join the NIA and help their effort to protect peace. Durin his time there, he would come face to face with Magnolia herself while also casually stumbling upon the leader of W3 Gate and his creation: The Shadow Devil.
After a gruesome fight with the monster and some bad choices, Nightshade found himself alone and holding within him the last remains of Cybeast Gregar, allowing him to become the latest Juuka to exist while also coming face to face with Forte himself. Following his transformation, he was approached by Embera, a very powerful navi with quite alot of fame surrounding her. Accepting her request to become her pupil, Nightshade set off to the Heap to train with the fire wielding legend.
Returning from his training and now a wanted navi by the ONB for his defection to the NIA, Nightshade would contact an old friend: Kajira.exe. Meeting up with her ex colleague, Nightshade revealed all he knew to the Storm Lady, in hopes of warning Electopia about an impending threat, not too long before a reaverbot invasion threatened the lives of many.
Wishing to right his wrong and know more about his infection by the hands of Greiga he was lead to a strange doctor in Kotobuki, where he learned crucial info on his change: Greiga's code had embedded into him permanently and had began mutating him into something unknown. Returning to the NIA, the now newly converted Zoanoroid discovered the organization had been compromized.
Rosso, once an ally, was the man behind all of the happenings. He had caused all the trouble Nightshade had suffered through and even thr reason he could use Greiga's powers.
Apparently, Nightshade had been used as a pawn to spread a virus. This new program was the reason permadeletion was now a threat. He also had been used as a lab rat to test if Cybeast's power could be harnessed without side effect. Rosso now safely wielded the power of Falzar, imbued in his sword, without risking to go berserk. As a result, Element City was destroyed before the Titan tried to dispose of the pawn no longer needed.
The rogue navi managed to escape, with Rosso seemingly taking away Nightshade's Juuka's powers. But the Titan made an error in his perfect master plan. He did not account for Nightshade's secondary infection. The infection fhat was now eating away at his code...changing him for the better or worse. Nightshade was no longer the naive, young navi. No longer he flip flopped about chasing a carrot on a stick. The power he once sought as a tool to prove himself had become a curse. A curse not so heavily lifted.
Now a fugitive, Nightshade lives by the day with a single burning desire: master the Cybeast Curse and put an end to the navi that caused him so much pain.
To show the world he now could make a difference...

Chaos Unison: ThrashSoul

Upon harnessing the darkness within him, Nightshade absorbs the dark energy and controls it, bending it to his will. His appereance begins shifting as his soul resonates with Thrash's, granting him access to some of her abilities. The undersuit changes its main color to a translucent dark nebula purple, while the armor worn by the navi darkens its gray color into a deep black. All the highlights on the suit change shape and begin to glow red in color. The claws on his arms become serrated and crystallized. All the gems on Nightshade's arms and legs turn from a diamond shape to a oval one, resembling Thrash's cores. An eighth one forms on his chest. The helmet changes shape from round to jagged and incredibly similar to the metallic mask worn by Thrash herself, completing the outfit
While in this mode, Nightshade's behavior shifts to match's Thrash. He becomes ten times more aggressive and brutal with a deep desire to destroy anything standing his way. He won't stop himself from deleting the enemy unless told to by someone he trusts.
Lasts for 3 turns {+1 Tadashi}
Bleed cuts Dark Souls if it reduces the opponent's HP to/below 0, but user is forced out of the Hyper Mode the opponents disables their DoT immunity (or status heal effects if no DoT immunity is present).
Soul Unison: InoriSoul

Gained after confessing his feelings to the lady he loves, Nightshade's soul found a new power lying within him only Inori was ever able to draw out. While in this form, Nightshade displays the absolute best of his speed. Most of the time it gives the opponent the illusion of teleporting around. Strength wise, he isn't as strong as under the effect of Thrash Soul, but he still is able to push himself a little further than normal. The peculiar trait of this form is the ability of rendering Nightshade completely immune to corruption both physical or psychological.
Lasts for 3 turns. {+1 Tadashi}
Nightshade deals 1.5x damage (Bleed included), but user is forced out of the Hyper Mode when taking damage from an Avoidable Attack.
