Jinko was out for a walk and had decided to sit down on a park bench. He saw another navi not to far away, but he didn't sense anything dangerous about him, so he allowed himself to drift off to sleep. When he awoke, the other navi was still there, so Jinko walked over to him. "Mind tellin' me yer name? Mine's Jinko." He offered his hand in friendship, then with his other hand pulled out one of his signature Colt45s. "Man, this place is nice, it'd be great for a nice match between two great navis like ourselves"( for your entertainment, and an added effect)

Type: Single-Judge (requesting) Posts: 1 intro post each, 5 battle posts each Story Version: Off Version Bonus Points: Off Version Match: Matched at v11
((OOC: ya need that info when starting a match, just so ya know next time xD)) ((That up there can count as your intro post. So your next one will be the first of your five battle posts. Best of luck!)) ((Also, since we're matched at V11 [Warrior's Story version], you can do stuff like... blow things up, and whatnot. Much more than you could as a v1 xD))
" ... Fair enough."
Accepting the challenge, but not sharing his name, Warrior held two unique-shaped daggers in his hand as he took a few steps away from Jinko. He had alot of unpleasant thoughts running rampant in his mind -- this would be a good opportunity to let loose and vent some of his anger.
He just had to be sure to hold back, if things got too rowdy. " Ready?"

"always" Jinko unsheathed his sword with his empty hand. He then started firing blessed silver rounds at the unknown navi while getting closer to him. He suddenly stopped firing and dashed forward with his sword, in an attempt to knock his opponent into the air. Then Jinko sheathed his sword, pulled out his other gun, and continued firing. "Man, i haven't been fighting for about two years, good to know i still can." While his opponent was paying attention to his attacks, and not him, he got in close, hit him hard over the head with the but of his left pistol.

As soon as Warrior saw Jinko raising his weapons, he shifted his grip on his own so that the daggers turned into handguns automatically while he kept his focus on Jinko as he made his approach. His eyes sharpened as he raised both hands, making a clear aim as Jinko began to fire.
Each round the Jinko let off was met head on with one of Warrior's own shots -- the bullets from each side were moving too quickly to be seen, but the sparks that were produced from their collision could be seen within the distance between the two navi. Every shell fired by either navi instantly became nothing more than a sparking flare when it reached the center of the area, almost as if it had his a brickwall when, infact, it had just hit an opposing shot.
" Easy enough."
Warrior was still quite calm. Nothing threatening, but this was slowly starting to get his excitement. As Jinko tried to knock Warrior into the air, he simply jump-avoided it -- soaring high out of reach during his ascent to be struck by the weapon. In order to retaliate the additional barrage of bullets that would soon be coming his way, Warrior shifted the shape of one of his handguns back into a dagger, and effectively blocked each shot coming his way with proficient skill.
Touching down to land, Warrior tilted his head to the side just slightly so that the pistol bunt would miss his head and strike his shoulder instead. Still a painful experience, but not as bad as it could have been.
Grabbing the outstretched arm that Jinko has just struck him with, Warrior pulled his body weight to throw Jinko over his shoulder, in the opposite direction. It wouldn't cause much harm, but opened his target up for a follow-up attack -- While Jinko was still airborne, a bolt of lightning came from seemingly nowhere, intended to strike him down to the ground.
" Two years? I think it's high-time you had a warm up."
Lightning surged in the cloud above where Jinko was at -- even if Jinko had moved, it would have followed him. After the bolt charged for a few seconds, it shot down to the ground with several bright flashes and a long roll of thunder. The bolt almost seemed to spiral in place, to gain multiple hits, and lasted for a good 5 seconds -- leaving behind nothing but a good, deep, burnt hole in the ground where it had struck. There was a split-second or two for Jinko to evade the strike from the time it left the cloud to the time it initially touched down.
" Still there?"

Jinko saw the lightning arc toward him. in that split second before it would have struck, Jinko used his sword to absorb the energy and fire it back at his oponent. "darn, that was a little too close for comfort. Good thing the hilt is wood." Jinko then Fired his anti-shield rounds at this un-named navi. "Still not going to introduce yerself? Seems kind of rude, doesn't it?" Jinko then started speed-dashing around his oponent while continuing to fire, hoping that the other wouldn't be able to keep up.

" ..."
Warrior made no response to Jinko's comment, but continued standing there and Jinko began his retaliation. The lightning struck Warrior, but he took no damage from it, nor did he flinch. Rather, it was just absorbed right back into it's source -- a scar on his left palm.
Warrior noticed Jinko's attempt to outmatch his speed, at which he simply smirked at. Instead of disproving the thought, a small typhoon began to whirl around Warrior, growing faster and larger until it was seemingly out of control. The tornado didn't move from it's spot -- it just stood there, with Warrior at the origin, to blow away each bullet that had been shot at him and send it off on another trajectory. Some of the bullets even shot back a Jinko, but others were well aimed enough to still hit Warrior through his defense. He showed no sign of pain the the shots that made it through, but rather, kept his focus on his next attack as he charged large amount of energy into his left hand. The energy gathered had shaped what appeared to be a large orb that Warrior held, as his body slowly lifted off of the ground from the tornado.
He'd shown an interesting display of elemental manipulation, but now it was time to introduce something new. As Warrior rose high into the sky, the orb he was holding split itself into three -- each one being sucked in by the typhoon and tossed away somewhere randomly. In a split second, after all three had spread out, the tornado dissipated into thin air. Warrior was no where to be seen where he originally stood, but if one were to look up, they could barely make out his silhouette hovering, high in the sky.
Then, without warning, Warrior travelled over to the first orb -- defying gravity and physics, and literally almost teleporting to it, to launch-kick it in Jinko's direction. While that one was still airborne, he zipped over to the second to to do the same, and finally the third. Each kick had been done in such quick succession, and with such perfect precision and force, that each orb hit their target simultaneously, which was presumably Jinko's current location. Upon impact, the orbs expanded dramatically, creating an explosive effect with about a 50yd diameter of where they hit.

Noticing what looked like orbs fly out from the tornado, Jinko knew there was only one way to avoid the next attack. Jinko Hit the ground with all his might, leaving a hole deep enough for a person, and ducked down inside of it just before the kicks would have connected. "Wow, you almost had me there. I'm actually starting to sweat." Right when the kicks connected with each other, Jinko fired off 3 rounds, seemingly at the same time, then he raised his sword above his head and jumped out of the hole in a spinning motion. "Hm... it would be sad if this area were destroyed...nah, i'd do it anyway." Jinko began firing again at his oponent using breaker, spiked, and blessed silver rounds.
(OOC: The spiked rounds represent my blade element)

(( i meant to say that the orbs connected with each other, not the kicks xD. My bad, and fixed))
" Hmph..."
Warrior was losing enthusiasm for the strictly-shooter opponent.
" Got any other moves?"
A taunt. Perhaps that would get Jinko to use some variety. And if not, Warrior decided to inspire. His weapons transformed into their dagger-mode while he approached Jikno (a feat that was quite difficult, since a constant stream of bullets were coming in Warrior's direction, but he managed).
Side-stepping here and again to avoid the shots and close the gap between the two, Warrior threw one of his daggers at Jinko, to atleast get him to stagger so that he would have a chance to approach him more effectively. Successful or not, Warrior was instantly inspire the moment after throwing the dagger to try something else.
Warrior snapped and pointed with his free hand -- his finger 'aimed' at Jinko. At his command, wind bursted forth from underneath the ground in a diameter around Jinko, raising debris and dust that surrounded him, essentially blinding him from seeing past the smoke-screen. Although the attack didn't actually hit Jinko, it was enough for Warrior to get a chance to approach without being seen or shot at through the barrier of dust.
The dust was all-around Jinko -- so Warrior could pick any angle of his choosing to attack from. Coming at him from behind was a little cliche, and head-on was just stupid. So an approach from the side would work well. Warrior burst through the cloud with dagger in hand, slashing and kicking furiously at his target, primarily at his hands and fingers so that he couldn't pull those triggers for a while.

As soon as the dust surrounded him, Jinko dashed backward, while still remaining in the cloud of dust. "Did you even think this through?" Jinko decided that this would be the best time to use his special attack. As soon as the other navi burst into the middle of the cloud, Jinko made his move. With his sword, he knocked his oponent into the air and slashed at him from all directions. "Guess not." After striking his oponent back down, he fired breaker rounds in the same direction. "If you survived that, you must be pretty tough."

((Lol, Omni-Slash Version 5 ftw))
"... what?"
Warrior landed in the middle of the cloud to attack, but... Jinko was gone. That can't be good.
To his surprise, he was struck into the air by Jinko's sword, followed by a painful series of slashes and powerful blasts. None of it Warrior had time to avoid as he was struck to the ground and laid there as what appeared to be unconscious.
It look as though Jinko had one. Yes, it looked as though.
Thunder roared, but the sky was clear -- not dark cloud in sight. Lightning began cracking in the air, but it almost blended in with the sunlight, as there were still no dark clouds amidst. Warrior's eyes shot open as he stood back up -- his body cut, torn, and bruised from the assault, but his willpower forced him back to his feet.
" If that's... all you had..."
The thunder was getting more intense, as were the sporadic bolts of lightning. Warrior's escalating rage seemed to be the catalyst for the strange weather, and as it climbed, so did the intensity of the thunder and the lightning.
" Then it's a pity..."
Warrior picked up both of his daggers from the ground, and combined them into a single weapon -- a blade, about the length of a regular sword.
" You're..."
Jinko was still airborne as Warrior jumped up and held his sword out, in his direction.
" Still..."
The wind changed. It blew from all directions -- above, below, infront and behind -- around the two navi, who were now side-by-side, to effectively pin them in the air as Warrior began his attack.
" BREATHING!!!"
As the word left his mouth, a powerful bolt of lightning came down. It didn't strike Jinko, but rather, the tip of Warrior's blade, which was now directly above Jinko's head. The impact not only brought the blade down at unthinkable speeds, but the inertia of the strike caused Warrior's entire body to continuously spin at a similar speed, as he held the blade out for multiple slashes. Warrior was spinning at a rate of about 30 RPS (Rotations Per Second), causing quite a bit of pain to Jinko if he had not avoided for the five or so seconds that Warrior was left spinning.
The tunnel of wind that kept the two navi suspended in the air dissipated immediately after Warrior came out of the spin, so that Jinko would be sent spiraling to the ground if that attack connected.
It was powerful, and devastating, but costly. The dizziness Warrior inherited from that attack wasn't exactly a great trade-off for the potential damage it could have delivered.

Right before his oponent struck, Jinko moved to the side. Then before the last spin ended, as the navi was coming out of it, Jinko jumped back in, blocking with his sword. There was a resounding sonic boom that erased the wind surrounding them.
"It's over."
Jinko dashed forward, cutting clean through his opponent without leaving any definite scars.
"You should have told me your name, then i would have something to remember you by."
Jinko stood up, tossed his blade into the air, tilted, and caught it in the sheath on his back. He then lit a cigarette and sat down. [/color]

To Jinko's surprise, Warrior had taken the slash, but was not at all defeated by it. Rather, the wound healed up quickly afterward, as his regenerative abilities enable him to. Warrior landed on the ground feet first, standing with his back to Jinko as he lit his cigarette.
" ... Warrior."
He had a good opportunity to strike Jinko while he sat down, but that was cheap and dirty. A puff of wind extinguished the flame on the cigarette, and Warrior began walking away.
" ... Not satisfied."

Style:
Both of you had posts filled with distracting grammatical and spelling errors - Jinko moreso. Warrior has an advantage here because Jinko's posts were also very dry and uninteresting, whereas his flowed better and made more stylistic use of language.
Jinko: 9 / 30 Warrior: 23 / 30
Articulation:
Jinko's posts lacked detailed description of anything, save a single interesting phrase towards the end about "erasing the wind". They were extremely uninteresting, coming off as simple lists of actions. Warrior, on the other hand, took the time to describe what was happening, how, and why. It wasn't perfect, but it was much more involving and showed more effort on his part.
Jinko: 2 / 20 Warrior: 17 / 20
Balance:
Both of you were a bit overpowered here, but Jinko had the bigger problem. He uses abilities he doesn't actually have repeatedly, and his final post - in which he cuts clean through Warrior - is a bit ridiculous. The same is true of his dodging - he didn't take a single attack. Some of Warrior's dodging is similarly overpowered, but I'm being lenient here because it was done in response to Jinko's already-ridiculous attacks. Warrior did well in never outright assuming his attack was a success, except (debatably) the shoulder-toss.
Jinko: 0 / 20 Warrior: 13 / 20
Length:
All of Jinko's posts were ridiculously short, rushed, and abrupt. Warrior allowed his posts to vary in length depending on the situation. This battle serves as a perfect set of "do" and "don't" examples - "do" being Warrior, "don't" being Jinko. It's not the WORST I've ever seen - assuming joke threads count - but it was pretty deplorable.
Jinko: 0 / 10 Warrior: 10 /10
Emotion:
Warrior has always been a fairly stoic character, so I wasn't expecting high drama. Still, there was occasional insight into his state of mind, and his dialogue did well to convey a sense of aloofness and confidence. Jinko's posts have a bit of characterization crammed into their tiny space, so it's not a total loss, but it's all very shallow and unremarkable.
Jinko: 3 / 10 Warrior: 7 / 10
Judge Points:
These are an average of your scores in the other sections.
Jinko: 1 / 10 Warrior: 8 / 10
Final Scores:
Jinko: 15 / 100 (E-Rank) Warrior: 78 / 100 (B-Rank)
Warrior wins.
20 EXP / 200z to Jinko 65 EXP / 650z to Warrior
