Above what seems to be a space-like area,there's an enormous platform floating high up,with several comets,asteroids and even what appear to be planets in the direct area.
A single beam shoots down from above,crashing into the platform,revealing a combat navi a moment later.
"Eh-? Did I choose this kinda setup-?" Glassman asked himself,looking at a comet that whisked by the battlefield.
Shaking himself from his awe,he awaited his opponent's arrival.

Glassman didn't have to wait long for his opponent. Vash had arrived in the arena at roughly the moment as he did. He walked past Glassman, into the navi's sight, and turned around to face him.
Vash.EXE: "Let's have a good match. You get the first strike."
He didn't give the initiative up very often lately, mostly because the few times he managed to get it was against ones he needed the first strike to stand a chance, but he was giving it up to Glassman. Vash thought it was only fair as he was most likely the more experienced of the two.

Vash stood still as the beam hit him, but stepped back out of the way root. It was kind of easy to feel sneak attacks like that when the element matches your own. He wasn't sure why he dodged it, but it was probably out of reflex since it was a hidden attack. He shook his head and laughed under his breath. Some things never changed, it seemed. He raised his hand and released several quick shots of light from it and followed up with a upwards slash. He was going simple for now, as a warm-up.
