Aero was created twenty years before the appearance of Gate and the awakening of the Juukas. Created completely from scratch, his creator and operator planned him to utulize speed and statuses instead of strength to become a powerful peacekeeping navi. Aero seemed at first to believe and want the same thing as his operator and would finish any task set to him without wasting time.
His operator eventually overheard Aero talking to himself about how it was stupid it was to protect weaklings. Over the next few weeks, a change in Aero's personality became noticeable, but his operator thought it was because he was fighting almost every day. He allowed Aero to rest for the next two weeks. After that, Aero's operator had him do everyday tasks for a while. Aero, not wanting to be reprogrammed, acted like everything was how his operator believed. When his operator told him they were going to chase down a couple of Heel Navis who escaped into the Undernet, Aero was hit with an idea. When he tracked down the Heel Navis, he promised them a large amount of Zenny to use feint attacks. Expecting them to get irritated after a while, he kept them busy for nearly an hour, when one of them used a dark chip, Dark Bomb. Aero waited untill the last second to move, coming close to the deletion he was trying to fake. His operator really thought Aero was deleted, and instead of checking, shut down the PET and decided to work on a navi able to utulize Aero's abilities and be able to counter the power of the dark chips. Aero came out of hiding after noticing that the signal of his operators PET was gone, came back out of hiding and deleted the two heel navis so they couldn't come after him later.
He spent several years in hiding from the undernavis before the officials learnt of him, a custom navi in the Undernet, and decided to try to delete him. He escaped with his right hand badly damaged. He tricked the first navi from the regular net to get him something to cover his hand with in exchange for a powerful chip that even the officials wanted. The navi brought back a half baked glove data. Aero took the data and badly damaged the navi. Before the navi could be restored, Aero had already retreated deeper into the Undernet. He fixed the data into the dark blue glove and placed it over the ruined hand. Even after having the hand fixed, he continued to wear the glove to remind himself the first time he was weak. Shortly after, he decided to gain more power and teach the navis in the regular net what 'true power' was. He started to roam the Undernet for darkchips he could get his hands on without having to pay. About two months before the first Juuka awoke, he found a weak navi carrying dark chips. The navi, promising to give him the darkchips he carried and a few others that he was going after, hired Aero as a bodyguard to protect him in the undernet. At the promise of the dark chips, he agreed and took the navi where he wanted. When the navi tried to double cross him after the job, Aero fatally wounded him and took the dark chips. After the Alpha Juuka arrived in the Undernet, Aero left to pursue his goal...
