She'd begin at the resort, just as they had before, and make her way up the lifts to find the cave where the first OOPArt had been guarded during her previous venture.
From here, her suit's Cyber World capabilities would generally kick in and she'd be able to progress much more easily by virtue of the enhanced physical traits in provided her. So she'd begin searching in the shrine, as that was the most recent location of the missing individuals as she'd come to understand it.

Feeling the effects of the suit kick in, she would also notice something strange then too. It was almost as if the Cyber World capabilities that they would normally display while in the area were weakening. Whatever the reason for this was would become apparent as she continued to further investigate with her now far greater physical traits, taking her deeper into the resort that was deathly silent. And upon going further, despite the missing evidence from before, she would find a sign that would be disturbing for another human to see, blood. There was dried blood off and on and even what looked like torn clothes, one such article having the NIA symbol emblazoned on the shirt that was shredded by something, though feathers were left behind, a curious thing in the otherwise cold region that the Yeti Blizzard had been found before.

Well that was a sight.
She'd have her weapon close at hand as she continued on, but would make it a point to keep her presence as discrete as possible moving forward, treading next to walls and in shadows while making little to no sound as she moved along swiftly and carefully.
She wasn't too sure of what to make of the feathers, but the scene itself painted a clear enough picture of what happened to her predecessors. The dried blood implied that the victims, if they were alive, probably weren't close by, so she'd follow the trail quickly enough to make it to them in time, but not so quickly as to blaze past any more clues -- primarily looking for any less-dry blood to indicate that she was getting closer, or otherwise any remnants of what was spelling itself out to be an attack on the previous agents.

Caution applied was well received, as when she moved, she would steadily begin to notice something. Floating bird-like creatures that were about the area, as if surveying it and looking for something. And the further she went, she started to discover more fresh blood from the previous agents. This wasn't necessarily a good thing, as she managed to spot one on the wall finally, resembling something akin to a pincushion as feathers riddled his body with a final one applied to the middle of his forehead, likely what had finished him off. A flapping could be heard from above akin to a bird of some sort, and the feathers resembled something akin to a swan's feathers on closer inspection with all the white. She would be able to make out the potential culprit then, a figure that stood tall with massive wings that looked like swans, a headpiece of a similar nature. It was more accurate to call the figure something akin to a humanoid swan, with shades of white, cyan, and black that adorned its figure to give it color and life.

She'd step out to reveal herself now -- partially infuriated by the scene, but also partially to deter this swam-esque individual from completing what they'd intended to do here. The scouring birds that she had come across earlier, combined with this person's presence here rather than moving else where, indicated to her that they hadn't quite found something that they were looking for. Or at least that was the hunch she was going with, and so impeding their progress felt ideal here.
" What's your business here, and where are the others? "
Her furrowed brow spoke volumes of her demeanor, and her confident tone of voice carried an authority that demanded an answer. One could argue that she should have taken a potshot while she had the element of surprise, but her combat paradigm didn't exactly allow for that as much as addressing her adversary head on. Whether or not they'd see her as any different than the pincushions that came before her was less of her concern than getting answers and attention now.

Looked like another stray arrived. This was good news, as it meant being forced to linger had added up in the end. It must have been in the event that this one showed up. She was no different than the others and even was alone unlike them. They had themselves and others to assist, but still found themselves mincemeat or worse in some events. He had no reason not to entertain her question.
"Tying up loose ends. The others should be dancing to their dooms right about now. They'll run out of oxygen and lose their lives before long."
It didn't let her know their exact location but did let her know that while they weren't dead yet, they were on their way there according to his account. And while Feint had no way to initiate combat of her own accord, it was clear that if she didn't find a way to bring him down before long, the ones who were still alive would lose their lives as well. His attention was drawn, and answers had been gained, now came taking action.

Feint grit her teeth in frustration, knowing that time was of the essence and this swan-fellow could bide for as much as he wanted to without her able to do much about it. She'd just need to threaten him more seriously to provoke him into attacking her, otherwise their stalemate would cost lives.
" What's there to underestimate? Sizing you up tells me everything I need to know: a sadistic bastard dressed to play the part of his own swansong. "
She could muster enough residual energy in her suit to power her gun for one shot, and so she'd aim for one of his wings as if shooting to clip it off. She treated it like a warning shot, bluffing that she had far more to offer so that he'd be coerced into retaliating.

Looked like she was infuriated for the fallen. A sneer came to his face as she readied her firearm, one of the birds of before, one that was black moving between them as the trigger was pulled and struck the swan.
"You first, dear."
His wings would move upward as the birds would charge in, the cold terrain settling in as he unleashed the feathers like blades, aiming to do to her what had been done to several others before her. Her bluff had worked more or less, now came finding a weakness in the opponent's defenses during the battle that would allow her to bring down the one who sought to deliver her one final dance before her own subsequent demise.

The feathers never made contact with her body, fizzling out just before they'd reach her instead by what seemed to be an almost invisible electrical aura protecting her. The sound they made was like that of flies meeting their demise to a fluorescent light bulb, even withering and falling to the ground in much the same way.
She had to brace herself for the smaller birds that came crashing into her, but after fighting Condor Geograph, that wasn't a terribly unfamiliar chore. Her suit had absorbed ample energy, but she was showing some restraint in releasing it just in case this enemy had some clever response prepared for it. Even if he didn't, she supposed it was prudent to hide her cards rather than spreading them at the start of every encounter.
" Make me. "
She fired again, this time letting loose an explosion wide enough to swallow up the smaller birds as well -- but there was some restraint shown here as well for similar analytical purposes as before. Feint wasn't quite savvy with the strategic side of things, so she'd hoped she wasn't making it too obvious that she was gauging his reactions, but regardless she'd just have to be better at learning on the fly for whatever came next.
In the wake of her explosive shot, she took aim once more at the Swan, intending to pepper him with shots before the smoke had cleared and he'd see them coming.

A more resistant target. Good. Not that it would avail much after what happened to the others that tried the very same. As she fired to swallow up the birds, he would move in place and skirt about the destruction as if it were never a concern for him. Likewise, only half of the birds had been swallowed entirely, his movements continuing as he skirted along the very edges of each of the shots that were fired upon him. This performance wouldn't be wasteful then.

The feathers that had seemed to fizzle out so futilely would produce something else then, the residue used from them not unlike the suit she used to produce energy. His feathers would generate themselves anew, creating more of the birds that accompanied him as they would charge again as he would fire the feathers again, this time beginning to twirl as he slid along, dancing along with them in a figure 8 about the battlefield of ice.

Feint's eyes narrowed, as if she'd noticed something about him already. That was only half true, though: she actually noticed two.
She'd let the feathers and birds fly into her protective shell again, but this time she didn't fire back -- she'd probably need to save ammunition for her new plan of attack. Her eyes stayed locked on his erratic movement, but she didn't lose track of all the hatchlings that were crowding the space, either. She'd shown that she was perfectly capable of dealing with their numbers, so her decision to keep them around for a bit longer was clearly deliberate -- she wasn't hiding that fact.
" I'll ask one more time: where are the others? "
Her stance was stiff now; her body bracing itself for the next feathery barrage. It could almost be confused with stoicism if she wasn't so bad at hiding the fact that she'd figured something out and was preparing to exploit it. Now was just a matter of whether he'd cater to her non-verbal call out or if he'd consider it another bluff and just ignore it while going about his way.

It looked like she was able to remain standing. This time she didn't fire back, likely because she was making preparations for her next attempt against him. Rather than worry about letting her take the time she needed to do so, he would seek to add fuel to her proverbial fire.

She would be able to see a screen that appeared with the static sound. When the imagery cleared, a number of people appeared that were both civilians and agents alike. There were people already in the area collapsed, a confined area in the resort that showed the systems were tampered with. The oxygen in that area was gone, and they were wearing some sort of helmet that provided them with air for a time, dancing to some sort of sick tune that only they could hear at the time. Without the helmet they would have long since run out of oxygen, but that wasn't good enough for him. They wouldn't have been able to dance long enough. And it was quite clear now that he meant very literally that they were dancing to their dooms.
To continue dancing they would run out of oxygen. When they ran out of oxygen, it was merely a matter of time before they expired. The ones who had already fallen were the ones who had already succumbed to that. He gestured to the snowy plains around them after that, the birds moving quickly to kick up the snow with a light storm to unveil the ones who hadn't been as fortunate. Like the agent she saw that was slain, others had been maimed or worse with the feathers that had taken person and agent alike and turned some of them into simple minced meat. To add to the display, a set of coordinates were provided. The location of the missing people.

How well would she keep her composure to see the literal clock that was before her? This would be a fast battle by any means, as anything less would be a defeat. The swansong wasn't something that was meant to last for a long period of time either way. He would amp his tempo just as she undoubtedly would now that she had a very concrete answer to the problem before her, the feathers returning to fly alongside him as he danced along with the birds that were loyal to him in this deadly waltz.

Feint didn't expect his previous statement to be as literal as it was -- he was even more sadistic than she gave him credit for. Her composure was well kept at the new discoveries revealed underneath the tossed snow; her plan wouldn't change in the slightest. And now that his tempo was amping up, it was time to put that plan into action, just as he'd said.
Her previous observations were as such: the white birds were far more fragile than the black ones, she hadn't even managed to shoot down any of those. He seemed to beckon those white ones in abundance by comparison, almost as if welcoming her to destroy them -- perhaps as some sort of investment into his coming storm, if she had to guess.
The properties of his attacks were being changed based on hers, so withholding them for a moment gave her a better understanding of their base state. If he was aware of her Phantom Waltz and inviting it, then it was probably best to avoid using it, but it was hard to say in this case. There was indeed a storm gathering, and she expected that to be his coup de grace, hence her restraint.

The electrical field around her body screamed to life again, like a sudden roar of thunder, but this time it much more violent and red, casting a crimson glow on the frozen ground around her. It flared up as each attack drew near, absorbing them entirely and daring her enemy to replicate the protective aura -- it wouldn't help him against what came next.
She bent her knees and leaned forward, her plan was obvious now but too late to stop: she wouldn't be delaying her Phantom Waltz at all, in fact. It may have seemed optimal to avoid the risk of empowering his storm as she wasn't fully aware of how it would behave, but the crimson storm around her was her own coup de grace of sorts, threatening to consume him if he deigned using his.
As she vanished from sight, the rest of the scene would be all too familiar to the ghost of Yeti Blizzard if it still wandered these grounds.

Her observations were sound and correct. The white would come in droves but would be fragile in return for their availability. Black would be able to withstand several blows, but her latest idea would be capable of blasting them apart now with her additional tactics employed. Both sides were daring the other to play their game. The dare would be met in kind. He would call upon her defensive force, blown aside by her own preparations... but such betrayal fit him all too keenly. For those who sought such efforts with him after offering it up to him, it produced that which he could convert in kind. The fragments that had been decimated would then turn to feathers, enshrouding him as the ghost of Yeti Blizzard could only shudder at the sight that took place as he began his dance and began to lean forward to meet her charge. She would fire and feather would meet, both enthralled in this menacing performance as one of his attempts were denied by her careful preparation once again. This was a bait that he took as well, his feathers beginning to vibrate now as he sacrificed one method for another as more of the birds began to swarm, his feathers launching with greater strength to engulf her while this time not aiming to claim her defensive measure as his own.

As she continued her waltz, she remained confident despite Cygnus Wing seeming to match it at first. And then she saw her moment: the red field around her surged out toward him as he prepared to release more powerful attack -- but she instead found her preemptive counter to be a tad too soon as the red bolt met his bait instead. Her eyes widened for a moment before the enormous explosion that was intended to stop him ended up engulfing her as well now that she found herself much closer to it than anticipated.

It quaked the mountain and probably would have caused an avalanche had they not been in an enclosed space that contained the sound, but that also meant that the echoing would pester them for a little while.
Feint was sent careening out of the smoke cloud caused by the explosion before slamming into the ground with enough force that it shattered the ice and scattered the snow that previously coated it. After tumbling for a good distance, she finally caught herself on her heels to halt her momentum and look back at Cygnus with an expression that could be called "unenthused" if it were to be described kindly.
