From his position, Rein overlooked the fight happening in New Life from the scope of his rifle. He had a few clean shots, but without proper target designation he couldn't really do much but wait. How long could it take to just tell him what to aim for?
"What the..." the sniper muttered, looking at some sort of black hole being launched up in the sky of New Life.
Yanking the bolt of his rifle open, ejecting the round that had already been chambered with the others inside the internal magazine shortly following suit, the sharpshooter navi fumbled around his person until he found what he was looking for.
Grabbing a stripper clip, he pushed five new fresh rounds in. It was a good thing he always came prepared for every situation. He didn't have many Purple Tips, but they would suffice until that black hole thing would dissipate and stop warping gravity so badly.

Trishula had been staying on point with the hovering calamity, though hearing a voice in the communication and glancing about to spot where they were made his response time simple enough. And Kajira had come to intercept and lend a helping hand to their efforts. He didn't make an effort to stop the next lightning strike, the lightning crashing down into her spires and her. Serving as the lightning rod, she felt the tremendous force that was backing them even exceeded what she was capable of outputting even at her top performance. But it was a sound plan from her all the same. He only needed her to do so for enough time for him to bark a few orders and then do what needed doing.
"New Life hovers well above Element City and the Forest Network. Make the city your priority target and leave things here to us. Aid any of our agents that are there, like Agent Mary in the efforts to clear the city from any of the ones we missed from here. She's the one with all the swords. If anyone is hindering her efforts in any way, they're a target as they're clearly compromised in some form or another."
Because no one would have any reason to stop someone from doing their job in this particular scenario that would be good enough to warrant them doing so. He would take care of things when Gravity Beetle had launched his sphere up in the sky. It looked like something was going to happen because of it, so he aimed and fired two shots at it instead first. The spheres of plasma slammed flawlessly into it, encasing the mass of energy within a prison of ice rather harmlessly instead. But...
-
Joker and the other Reaver were squaring off instead. At his words it merely kept its focus on him before at last a scoff echoed from its body. It found his words... rather amusing, in a way. And so it pulled back its arm again and moved to meet his fist directly. The massive boom of energy had blasted out at first... before drawing back in. It was kept around them instead of expanding outward to the rest of their forces.
"Coming from a weakling like you those words sound like a really poor joke. One too weak to fight on their own shouldn't be trying to fight an army by himself. So weaklings like you should leave this world instead. But before you do I can show you how one wages war."
The widespread assault from Joker was kept contained with them. It wasn't eliminating the force, rather it was condensing it and instead being relayed back to the Reaver that was facing Joker instead. But even with that combined power, he met each blow without missing a beat. But rather than his shell being corrupted, the corruption wasn't sticking at all. It would make this a war of attrition if it stuck around, and that wasn't something it was here to do. Today was a day with much more than that left to it. So the cyan aura appeared again at the last blow between their faceoff, but this time kicking back instead and darting over towards the formation that they had created with the reaverbots.
-
Embera had crashed down as well into the reavers not quite in formation yet, the Reaver with the gun arm taking aim in Kajira's direction instead. Looked like she was playing an intriguing game now that tipped the scales. So he fired, the same red line going off to meet her electricity that was coming toward his weapon. It wasn't a power enough where it overwhelmed what she had fired, but what she had fired weakened upon impact instead. And eventually the shot managed to overpower it and continue straight ahead at her and the field around her. He fired twice more for good measure, going to aim up at the frozen sphere of destruction that he had helped create. But he halted, as the base of New Life rocked and tilted instead.
-
As the Destroyer laid out his next card, there was no response at first. But eventually a fiery wave tore through the opening he had first entered from. It didn't catch the Armored Destroyer at all in its wake, but he could see it pass. Eventually he heard two pairs of steps, one much lighter than the other. They clearly weren't alone given this hole, but playing the cat and mouse game wasn't something that they were both here for. They had already taken advantage of the situation enough as it was.
"Get going. We don't want to be late, after all. I'll see to it things are settled here. The weapons should be ready to be deployed shortly. The rest is simply keeping them all preoccupied."
There wasn't any disagreement instead the partner in crime jumping out of the open hole quietly and using the open passage that the others wouldn't see to cover his own exit. But the larger one was still around, starting to walk away instead. It was a slow pace, as if he was expecting his mark to try and make an escape knowing that he was on borrowed time here. It had at least lowered the threat in some regard with there only being one now, but the base was eerily quiet now with how each step echoed as the base started to rock back to its original position as a thunderous explosion was set off.
"First impact begins."
-
It had gone off thrice, the thunderous explosion. The first had come as Trishula had frozen the spatial force that Gravity Beetle had created. And what had caused it became apparent when something massive had crashed into Trishula himself, an explosion of smoke coating the air and darkening the skies even further. And through that smoke two more shots had come, one aimed at the side and top of New Life with the others letting them all see exactly what it was: some sort of... cannonfire? It was like a mass of thermal energy, a sphere about the size of New Life itself as the first shot rocked hard into its already tilted side and almost sent it spiraling out of control before the other was aimed to strike dead center on the roof of the aerial fortress. And it crashed and detonated, blanketing them all in a devastating amount of force that rocked the entire building. When the dust would settle, it was difficult to discern. But in the distance they could see something beyond simply massive.
It was a shadow that was miles and miles away. And whatever it was towered in its place, un-moving. But for those who could glean further, they could make out what it was in all of its horrifying display. A massive creation that was about 5,000 meters tall. The rest of it was hard to make out from the great distance that its massive cannons had fired from, but it was a siege weapon of absurd magnitude, aimed precisely at New Life now.

...the army didn't matter now, nor did the fight. This was now going to become a matter of survival, and the situation was now getting dire.
New Life's shields absorbed much of the impact to the upper deck, but it had no chance of deflecting it entirely. The damage was still immense, yet Gravity Beetle didn't care. Damaged from the shot, he stands up and looks into the distance at the siege weapon; the obvious source of the blast. This was all-out war.
Gravity Beetle: Now hear this; I do not care who you are or what your rank is, evacuate New Life NOW! Priority one is protecting Element City!
Just as MagnetMan before him, Gravity Beetle reveals just how tied to New Life's systems he is as his voice resounds on every loudspeaker in the base.
Wasting no time, Gravity Beetle flips open the pad on his arm and begins to type away, rushing his movements as best he can in an attempt to bring phase 1 of his plan into action. Fortunately, it only takes mere moments for it to happen. From the sky above, a hail of rockets numbering in the literal hundreds rains down from between New Life and the engine of destruction in the distance, peppering it with explosive force and laser-fire in an instant. In the sky above, a form several hundred feet long descends, held aloft by a set of absolutely massive thrusters, and still firing a wild storm of death into the distance. Under Gravity Beetle's command is the ONB's gunship, the Atlas, and it now hovers between the doomsday assailant and New Life, holding the line for the troops still at war.
-----
...an interesting turn of events. One was a hulking beast, and the other far smaller, based on the weight of the footsteps. And their talk... while there wasn't anything concrete here, it was obvious that they had a hand in this attack. But were they guests to New Life, or invaders?
Right now it didn't matter. The one that was left put himself into the perfect position, so the time to act was now.
The ventilation duct near the opening erupts into a flashing, white geyser of energy without warning, flooding half of the room in bright, powerful lights and a high-pitched, ear-splitting shreak. The local ductwork bursts from the pressure and power, while the empty cells implode due to the excess force laid out by the cracking blast. The assault is accompanied by the sounds of something making its way through the ductwork above.
This was the moment. With the mine that he'd set in the ducts creating an adequate distraction, the destroyer slips from his alcove and through the door, making his way to the upper decks while strategically taking out every recording device along the way with surgical accuracy. Without missing a single step, he uses the cover of chaos to make it upwards, keeping his wits about him and leaving decoy trails of destruction in his wake to throw Navis off of his trail on his way towards his goal...

*Hearing the earth-shattering thunder caused the Overlord to halt his own task and notice the first hit striking the other Commander of the NeONB... closely followed by New Life itself being under fire by two shots the size of the very base itself. He'd be more impressed if he wasn't on the other side of fire here, but still couldn't help but give them credit for whatever monstrosity they created to pull that off. New Life's shields had managed fairly well under fire, but the war was far from ended from that. Shaking his head and getting back on his feet after having them taken from under him, he eyed what was likely one of the largest siege machines that anyone would go out of their way to make to assure a victory. And he had to admit, their effort to make something of that level was something he had to respect. But something he had to overcome just as well. He was formulating a plan when Gravity Beetle had the Atlas begin its attack, giving him the idea he needed. All things considered even if protecting Element City was their priority, that priority would be meaningless if they left that weapon unattended.*
"Gravity Beetle. Try to keep your aircraft a bit away from New Life. It's clear by now they intend to destroy New Life, so it should be targeting it rather than the Atlas. Try to move New Life a bit further into the Forest Network as well. If not, then start heading toward that death machine. New Life is already large enough to hang over Element City and the Forest Network, but if it's going to crash we can at least just have it destroy the forest completely again instead of the city again."
*If all else failed and New Life was going to fall, where would the crash be better at? Ideally they didn't have to use it to ram the enemy before them but if they were going to fail, either the forest or right into the maw of their enemy was the better place to crash at. And it wasn't as though he was going to disobey the evacuation orders either. After all, he wouldn't be on New Life for much longer.*
"Have the Atlas continue unloading on that thing. I'll head on over myself to deal with that new priority. If it isn't structurally sound I'll find its weakness and break it from there. If it is then I'll have to do it the old fashioned way. Anyone here, at least one, can come along as well. Just in case things get a bit more wild than they already are. The rest of you, focus on a defensive approach. We don't need to beat back the invaders as much as we need to survive them. The aerial one, the gun wielder, and the sword-arm one are the ones to keep an eye on. Worry about the smaller ones after that. By the same token, each of you be prepared to jump ship at a moment's notice."
*It was clear that this likely wasn't the end of the attack. If this was the assault meant to end New Life then the Reaverbots would've started to withdraw. No, they were following a formation instead. He'd love to stay and try to break that formation, but he was another one who specialized in more than just mass destruction. So he went into a sprint, heading across New Life in an instant and then jumping off, bolting along the air as the data paved a path for him as he shot off to close the vast distance between the engine of destruction and himself. He didn't try to close the gap immediately because he wanted to draw its attention as well as shoulder some of the shots that would be continuously fired at New Life, if the three shots from before was any sign of the rate of fire it possessed. He figured it would take aim at those approaching it more than anything else even if it was closer to an impregnable fortress on the outside. But he had another motive for targeting that weapon now. Something that he had discussed with his two partners in crime already.*

Kajira pulled the electricity toward her. The storm of danger that Trishula was keeping under control was diverted to her in an instant, travelling at virtually the speed of light, as lightning is wont to do. The woman rose her own body's acceptance, functioning as a rod to pull that powerful electricity from her, and to divert it into the Reaverbots around her, aiming to simply decimate their forces with their own energy.
What she hadn't counted on, however, was the sheer power of the reaverbot above them. Kajira had very commonly channeled electricity directly from a thunderstorm into her and used it to wipe out foes before. In fact, it was one of her most common techniques when it came down to it. Harnessing the very power of a storm overhead was something she did regularly and she hadn't really counted on this to have more raw power behind it than that.
She should have.
BL4K3: Kaj, what the heck is going on? I'm seeing more errors than that time I pirated JiggleJuggs IV!
The woman would have cursed if she had the ability to do so, but the energy coursing through her at the moment was nearly pushing her past her limits. She could stand it, but not for very long. Thankfully, it seemed that this sacrifice from her was freeing up Trishula to be able to assist in other ways than just dealing with this. It wasn't the best plan, but it was the best plan that they had. The woman gave another low sound of wordless agony as the power ripped through her.
However, as she heard Gravity Beetle's words, the woman's eyes closed for a moment, the thundrous electricity ripping through her being. She couldn't move. She couldn't get down as he had requested. Instead, the woman solidified her connection to the spires around her, using the electricity to form a magnetic field around her as strong as she could, solidifying her anchor to the top of the building. The well that emerged from the Commander pulled at her, and she felt her hair and bottom hem of the kimono rising up, likely giving some a view of her thigh before it began to ascend higher into the sky...and then Trishula froze it.
She blinked, turning her attention to the man. Did he want them to be overrun? She was about to try and say something to him when the entire underside of the building shifted beneath her feet, and the only thing that kept her standing was the magnetic field that she had erected. Her yellow eyes flickered over to the other reaverbots then, and released another wave of electricity from her, before she glanced over toward one of the more...formidable ones. That was the one that had been firing before and she gave a feral growl as electricity from her poured outward into a singular bolt aimed at the rifle bearer.
The reaverbot fired a line of that same red energy that seemed to overpower even the electricity from above, and she gave a low hiss, the thunderbolt from above ending as the shots that came toward her after devouring her electrical current. "Son of a b-" she hissed, as the weakened energy, as well as the two at full strength, continued toward her. Before they reached, another series of bolts echoed from above, moving directly past the now-frozen black hole and crashed into her once more. After the first barrage, Kajira had a slightly better idea of how to deal with it, even if her systems were going into overdrive, and not in the best way.
Diverting it as soon as it came in, Kajira formed a powerful shield of raw power in front of her, formed like a cone. The first of the three struck it and was sent off into the ground near her. The second lowered the potency of the shield, as if the energy formed there was simply...devouring the power that she held, but the conical shape diverted it as well before the third hit the barrier. It too was deflected, but not in the same degree as the others. It veered toward her and her eyes widened as she lurched to the side, but the thin beam of energy grazed her shoulder.
Pain erupted there, and Kajira's concentration broke for a moment as the lightning she was supposed to be containing diverted out to those around her for the briefest of moments before she forced it back. "TAKE HIM OUT!" the woman screamed in a combination of pain, rage and desperation.

*Embera saw the Reaver taking aim at Kajira, it was much more advanced than the rest of the fodder around her. Charging a white-hot energy in her hand, she blasted it out, hoping to melt clean through its head. Ascending to level with the Atlas, Embera could see everything tearing beneath her. Element City was set to be leveled. If Element City fell, it wouldn't be long before The Heap would be overrun too. She began glowing. Her armor turning red, then orange, and white hot before dripping away, leaving only her right gauntlet, the same one that fired the blast. Hearing Genesis, she made her way to his side. She was smiling brightly that he was alright, as he tended to be.
Embera: This is the craziness we're used to, isn't it? We would take on the world together, like we always would. I so badly want to make that thing explode, but...My home...The Heap. If I don't put an end to Element City, then it will only be a matter of time before my home is overrun too. Please take this.
*Embera removed the metal glove from her hand, and placed it in the Overlord's own, before hugging him tightly.*
Embera: I'm always your right hand, But I need the rest of you to come back safe too. Let me know when the job is done?
*With a smile, Embera winked before closing her eyes and allowing herself to free fall, before adjusting her body and rocketing down to the City below like a missile ready to explode.*

Rein looked at all the happenings through his scope. He really did not want to admit it but Genesis's plan was sound. He had been ordered to fire at anyting that would threaten Element City, and that huge weapon firing on New Life fit the description. Getting up and slinging his rifle on his back, the thing dematerializing soon after, the sniper began jumping over from building to building.
Pulling out a Mare's Leg from a seemingly empty holster, he took aim at one of the Reaverbots going for Genesis. With a shorter rifle it was way easier for him to shoot while moving. A few moments and he was able to connect to the Onyx Overlord's comm system.
"You are insane." He told him. "I'm coming with you, before you get yourself killed. What good is a hero if he's dead?"
Another shot skimmed past Genesis' ear.
"I have you covered. Let's try to get to that machine in one piece, shall we?"

Dread Joker @ Unity Proxy
Joker narrowed his gaze as the reaverbot contained the reverberations of his blows, forcing the waves of nearly liquid crimson to rush back towards them, condensing in a dense cloud around the two of them. The monster suddenly cloaked itself in its cyan aura, darting backward to rejoin the formation of reaverbots behind it.
It commented on him needing another to fight alongside . . . did it detect Unity, then? No matter his pride, separating himself from the operating system would weaken him and put them both in greater danger. He would not be fooled by its jab at his bravado. "Unity, how are you in there? The density of the crimson isn't bothering me any, but, it doesn't appear to be bothering them, either - I need to know if I need to dial back, for your sake."
That was all the conversation he needed, for now. He wouldn't take much more time talking to it - he could get all he wanted by studying it. The tilting island shocked him only for a moment, until his boots magnetized against the roof. Orders were being issued and new people were showing up, diverting enemy fire or otherwise assisting. When the beetle released his well only for Trishula to freeze it, he questioned the Navis actions - but he had more important things to worry about, like this formation of reavers standing against him.
Charging up intense crimson energy into his palms, Joker smashed down onto the ground, the shockwave holding no malicious power behind it, but charged with the intent to move them backwards. The shockwave of energy would crest down into the New Life Base, the wave of data seemingly sinking within the data making up the data of New Life. This was his birthright; the ability to command this crimson data. And no one but he could or would continue to do it. Of that, he would be sure.

Looked like the insider was making their move now. It was a solid distraction, as even the sound that passed now could have been just another mine being fired and the one who fired it could go elsewhere. But this was a perfect position for him as well. They had been quiet before, but the one here was always loud. It meant that he didn't need to try hiding it as well, as this too could be faulted on the one making their move now. So he aimed his gun first and foremost back at the very start of the destructive spree that was unleashed, firing once. It was a blazing sphere that flew off and essentially melted that part of New Life off after all the damage it had taken. He aimed his other at the prison area that had imploded and fired thrice instead, resulting in the same outcome. He didn't shoot the ductwork yet however, which meant he wasn't aiming to destroy mindlessly. But he was also making his way further into New Life, as though he had a destination of his own to get to.
-
As the Atlas started to fire upon the engine of destruction, it unleashed its own onslaught of missiles to meet the ones coming toward it. The hundreds clashed and collided, exploding in a display that would light up the sky with their explosive array. The laser-fire managed to make landfall, though whether or not it did damage was hard to discern from this great distance. The Calamity continued to rain down lightning at the same time without relent, its purpose clear-cut and still the same as the beginning, even if it was being converted into the lightning rod that Kajira was. And as Embera fired at the one Reaver's head it moved aside, letting it fly barely past it as it kept its sights focused. It fired three more times at Kajira, but then turned its focus over to where the ice was instead now that the numbers had tilted like this and their focus scattered. So it took aim and fired in rapid succession at the well in a show that revealed it was trying to unleash it instead, meaning it knew the reason behind it freezing compared to others present with how much was going on.
All while the other Reaver left the formation and started to make his charge toward Joker once again. It disappeared from sight not unlike the other reaverbots that could cloak themselves, so like they Joker could still see it. But unlike them it wasn't making noise as it moved thanks to it warping from place to place. Each time it did the cyan would be left behind, the base rocking as more was happening inside of it. But the Reaver was in front of the giant now, unleashing four strikes aimed at each limb with one at the throat as well, the strike at the leg limbs being covered in one stroke instead.
-
As Genesis continued on his way the death machine had unleashed fire just as expected. The massive cannons it bore resounded four times, rocketing at the Onyx Overlord and New Life behind it. And then the missiles were unleashed again, this time focused on the Atlas. But this time even more fired than before as thousands littered the sky now, as though the first time it was fired in its defense was it keeping reserves for the offense that would soon follow.

Joker would almost feel the sight of Unity shaking his head, holding onto things as best he can.
Unity: Thank you, sir, but I'm fine! My G-Systems have adapted to the Crimson as well as I can expect. At this point it sort of feels like wearing pajamas made of fiberglass...
While uncomfortable, Unity was surviving well through Joker's database. Every few seconds Joker would feel a slight surge of energy as Unity continually tried to offer the hulking Navi his strength.
Gravity Beetle had nearly the same plan that Genesis had just stated. However, he'd gotten one detail wrong....
Gravity Beetle: LAST WARNING, GET OUT OF HERE NOW!!!
Gravity Beetle grunts as he drops into the top hatch of New Life and seals it behind himself. Here he finds himself in the emergency control hatch, a last-resort override for New Life as a whole. This was where his plan would begin. Taking his place at the helm, Gravity Beetle activates the engines on New Life. At this moment, everyone still onboard would feel a sudden shift... followed by a sudden increase in the relative gravity for anyone still on the upper deck. This would not be because of Gravity Beetle performing any space-altering attacks, but rather because the entire base was now rising skyward at an alarming rate. With each passing second it ascends higher and higher, passing the fleet in a matter of moments as Gravity Beetle's current plan becomes obvious:
New Life is going into Orbit.
By this point in time, the destroyer had made his way fairly high into New Life, making his way towards his target with a far more intimate knowledge of the base than would be expected of an outlaw such as himself. The destructive Navi below's attacks cut through New Life like a hot knife through butter, yet most fail to even come near him. Despite everything, this Navi is headed somewhere deeper than most would go.
In the heart of New Life he arrives, entering a passcode to enter his true destination for this operation. This was not the main control room, it was not the archive room, it's not even the commander's room... no, the nameless Navi walks into a small, round room with a handful of seats in it and a large screen above; the senatorial meeting room. It's here that the nameless Navi takes to the central console and begins going to work, hacking into the system and beginning to download every bit of information that he possibly can on the situation. Who is this strange force? How did they show up with such positions so suddenly? Why had the senate been so silent in regards to their operations? What ties do they have, and what is their plan? These are all questions that he would hope to obtain at least some information on.

*He smiled too with Embera catching up to him. It was true that pretty much every time they were subject to some form of craziness like this. After a while it was something to just expect at this point, but not something that ever irritated or annoyed him. It always gave him something to do besides focus on doing something else with his life. And with Embera it was often that they were tackling it together, just as they always would. But it looked like she had come quite some way given the past. He recalled when Zane said she was someone who would recommend destroying a city to get their job done. Now here she was, prepared to protect her home. He accepted the metal glove and the hug, offering her one back.*
"It's certain a craziness most will never get used to. I'll be done with this in a moment's notice."
*He sounded confident as he said it, the metal glove melding with his right gauntlet as it changed and took on a different appearance much like his mantle had when his oldest friend had left a mark on him as well. It let off four massive shots this time, counting on its shields to handle at least one other shot as he would reserve some energy to force it to quit the main offense it was already on, responding to Rein as he got ready.*
"I'm pretty sure heroes are only made when they die. So I will pass, thanks."
*He held out his hand, three of the shots that were soaring at them halting in the air and steadily collapsing in on themselves. He sent them elsewhere and slipped past the fourth, not noticing New Life's new direction as he kept his charge forward. From his hand came a trio of obsidian spheres that he fired off at it. Each grew gradually larger as they encroached before they started bumping into each other, purple lightning crackling off of each one before they eventually locked together and continued to gain mass, aimed directly at the main cannons of the large weapon. First would come taking out the primary weapon that was being fired at them, then seeing about what to do about the rest of it.*

"Looks like you got company"

The woman gave a small hiss as the fiery woman (Embera, she believed if she recalled correctly) fired a singular shot at the rifleman, but didn't bother to check and see if it had done anything effective before leaving. And so she had left, and so too had Genesis it looked like, and Gravity Beetle was struggling on his own, as too was Trishula. That left her up here against the rifleman, the hordes of reaverbots, and the electrical-firing beast from above and the only backup she had at the moment was Joker, someone that she didn't innately trust anyway. Not that Trishula was up very high on that list either after talking with Nightshade, though she had no idea how much information the navi even had correct.
The rifleman looked at her again, and she gave a small curse, the woman's arm still was in agony from the nick that she'd received from him not a few seconds before. Thankfully, he hadn't bothered to time his shots in conjunction with the lightning storm overhead. There was a lull in that energy from above, and the woman gave a small sound as she allowed the lightning to fuel her movements as the explosive speed of Kajira made its presence known as she moved very much like the element that she was modeled after, streaking like raw energy across New Life as she saw Gravity Beetle beginning to move, going somewhere within the hull of the place. She bit her tongue, figuring that he wasn't running away and had a plan, given that he had given them all a 'last warning' as he raced across the top of the building.
The woman's streak ended as the rifleman was aiming skyward, attempting to undo whatever Trishula had done to the black hole. Apparently the rifleman was someone who had very real control over the energies that made up everything, given how it had reacted to her shield too. Then again, it could just be the man's rifle. She might need to get her hands on it to determine exactly what the control of it was. But right now, she had a new surprise in line for him as she came to her stop, having timed it just as the entity above released another wicked burst of lightning.
One hand moved to the rifleman's throat from behind, while the other extended skyward. A single word was spoken, one that Joker too may remember from their very first encounter. "Kneel."
The raw energy rushed into her and, given the fact that she wasn't acting as a full lightning rod as her destination was the man toting the rifle, and not the surface of New Life which wasn't exactly built to handle energy coming into it, the load was about the same without her Spires to assist her, having moved far from them. She poured her own power into this as well, working to simply turn the reaverbot toting the rifle to ashes. She had no idea whether or not the sudden burst of electricity would destroy or incapacitate the other, but she wasn't about to let go until she knew. After obliterating this one, her other target was his rifle- she wanted to make sure the Reaverbots didn't get it back.
She could tell that they were going airborne at the moment, with New Life rapidly ascending. But she wasn't about to let this idiot go without giving him a full dose back of what she'd taken. She just hoped that she'd have enough time after decimating this rifle-toting jerkwad first. He was dangerous enough to hurt all manner of other navi...and she was willing to do what it took to make sure that no one else fell prey to him.

Dread Joker @ Unity Proxy
Joker watched as the other Reaverbots receded, and the larger of the bunch made their way forward, paying close attention as his opponent began to blink in and out of the Net. Rather than moving, he appeared to warp, and, suddenly, he was upon him.
Until this point, Joker hadn't risked seeing just how much of his data had been compromised. He'd been fighting with the reserves he had left and trying to stay away from his opponent's attacks. However, as with each of his strikes the opponent intensifies the field of crimson around them, they are inadvertently providing more to his reserves. Allowing the individual strikes against his legs, Joker raises his hand to stop the monstrosity's arm before it can strike his arms, holding it in place. Channeling into his might the surrounding Crimson, Joker engorges his hand in its glow, forcing down the large arm.
In his fervor, he'd been throwing strikes of brute force and calculated blows against a large group of targets - it is obvious that this individual was created to prevent him from operating at full potential, meaning that he had to fight outside of his usual parameters to properly win. Focusing the data of his vision across the monster's body, he searched for weakspots to target and . . . ?!
His analytics were suddenly interrupted by the upward motion of New Life, crushing against his already monstrous size and weight. Standing strong against the sudden turbulence, Joker looks out at who remains on the top - apparently, it was just Kajira, dealing with her own demons. Still holding the other reaverbot's arm in his hand, he would not have himself outdone by this interloper - nor would he give it the satisfaction of allowing it to get away.
"You think you have me all figured out. I'll show you what true power looks like, fool.
The ring of crimson building up around them warps and shifts to his will, as he battles against the Reaverbot's control of his data. Whether the reaverbot had the ability to manipulate data in general or specifically combat against him, his control of the Crimson data had to be stronger - no force in the Net would deny him that, for the satellite from which he was created was his birthright; his purpose for being. Willing the mass of crimson to multiply and expand, Joker pushes his own inner veritable nuclear plant to its limits, producing a massive field of crimson around him, all the while emptying what reserves he had left. Rather than attempt to conserve it, he'd give it what it wanted - all the Crimson data that he could risk to lose without destroying himself, and not an inch of it from the satellite. The air was crisp, dense, like nuclear fallout, all around him, as Joker raised his fist into the air . . .
. . . and absorbed the mass of Crimson back into his body, focusing the shrill of energy, each particle of corrupted data, back into his being, from the expunged data to the data he's been loosing throughout the fight thus far, the mass of crimson surrounding him like a dense cloud of energy, solidified and in full. Within his body, the crimson bore no ill effects on the Reaverbot, but, for the brief moment that the area around them had been swallowed by its intensity, unless the Reaverbot were specifically designed to combat him, there was no way the intensity of that much bugged data in one area wouldn't weaken it.
It wouldn't matter if that wasn't enough, though. He would rend this reaverbot from the Net for its transgressions - his familiar red armor suffused his body. The field of crimson around him so intense that the finalization process simply took place, Joker stood in his true glory, and thrusted his crimson-irradiated palm forward.
"Be swallowed in the Gaia Eraser."
