"...Decisions, decisions…”
Her conciousness stirred to hear that tempering voice!
Out of all things, she heard that one word, two times over, and it brought back so many memories. The fiery NetNavi reminding her of pain and loss! The effects power had and how it drove one mad! She could remember the smell of smoldering buildings and the sight of bits of data scattering to the air like little butterflies taking to the wind, whence came from the gale of swinging swords and collapsing structures that once reached to the heaven.
All of it so familiar, but it was like a dream all over!
She remembered the feelings when all this happened! Rage, despair, and loneliness! She remembered how she felt that she was not good enough for him! She never would be! He saw him holding a P.E.T. with some other female NetNavi and some doctor that knew nothing of him or her to say that it was all in his mind!
They dare called her mad?
She brought down skyscrapers, scattered decaying bodies under molten rocks she called from the heavens like a Goddess, and then unleashed mass chaos! Why? Because of her love for him! Even now, her thoughts that spoke of pure chaos were like clear logic to her! It all made sense! If she truly loved him, if she wanted him to love her back, and if she ever truly meant any of her feelings...
She would kill!
Before she could even know how she was moving, how her fingers moved across her polearm across her laps; Megami was rising from the crater before the NetNavis whence she was kicked into. The force of the kidnapper's strike, follow-up, and her own reckless energy caused an impact in the terrain that could have been her grave if the soil would have covered her up properly. However, it begun to scurry and become distrubed! Electricity had ran off Megami's body as if it was fleeing in terror, and her fingers stopped doing their little dance across her weapon as they decisively curled around the center of her weapon and squeezed until it become as unstable as energy itself.
Decisions...decisions...
Megami...listen...Megami..did...not...stop...
The word went through her mind! This NetNavi was a fool! He did not know love like she did! He did not know what it meant to care for someone! To do anything for them.
Megami...stop?
She would not. She had reeled back her arm as the polearm instability became apparent. It turned into a bolt of thunder that danced uncontrollably in her very fingers. The sound rippled through the air making it obvious that it was present, but the nature of it was as unpredictable as the small pops and fizzes of electricity that ran across its surface.
Megami...stop? Please...!
She was way beyond that! She knew what she must do! She cast back her arm, looking into the eyes of Xylia, of Feint, and even more that dank expression she felt sorry for that cowered behind them as they were its meat shield. The twisted expression of the kidnapper sickened her as much as the kiss he stole! It was infuriating! Nothing was going her way! Xenneth's feelings, her reserved body she had just for him, and not to mention how helpless she was feeling by every moment this NetNavi was living.
Please! Megami? Stop?
She would not let him off easy, and the others were in the way. A sentiment she shown as she cast her arm forward after leaping from her grave at breakneck speed, whipping her arm forth, sending the unstable pole arm forth like a bolt of thunder to rip through the bodies of Xylia, Feint, and the coward that took refuge behind them-
"Megami! Please! listen! Stooooop!!!"
Her mind focused on her goal, she did not even realizee that voice in her head were the anguished cries of her loved one trying to stop her crusade, and by the time her hand cast the bolt forth, it was already too late.

" No. We can't. It isn't a guaranteed we could get JUST him. He could use them as shields to escape or something. We know how fast he is. I refuse to sacrifice Xylia or Feint on this one. Sorry. Besides... we can negotiate... I suppose right now, that is the only option we have. "
" ... "
Merrill began powering down, advising Warrior to do the same. He had a point. There was no way to hit the kidnapper without taking out Xylia and Feint with him.
The quaking of the network finally began to subside and return to its regular state, but everything seemed quieter than usual, as if the Cyber World was waiting for something in suspense.
" ... "
Still holding Phoebe's wrist, Nymphra noticed something when she looked toward Warrior. Even though the quaking had stopped and the fluctuating lighting of the area had died down (due to Merrill releasing his built up energy), the energy pulsing in Warrior's sword hadn't gone away yet. He was still holding onto it.
" ... "
Down on her knees with crimson blood bathed in acid pouring from the wounds around her body caused by the thorny whip, Feint recognized this as well and found the strength to turn around and look to Warrior.
The Cyber World was still quiet. The suspense ceased to rise -- now it was the silence of shock that took over the atmosphere.
" That's not what I think. "
The silence of shock and suspense still lingered as Warrior soundlessly swung his blade down toward the ground -- Faith's voice echoed in the quietness as she screamed in opposition of what he had just done.
" Jacob, No! "
~* BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM!!*~
" ! "
The silence retreated immediately as the attack was executed -- the quaking of the network was much more chaotic than it was just a few moments ago, as if Aqua Net was wailing in pain.
Everything within an obtuse angle in front of Warrior was suddenly consumed by what appeared to be a rising tower of light bursting up from underneath the ground and reaching high into the heavens in a split second.
Nothing was visible beyond the curtain of destruction before him; not for miles, even beyond the horizon in the distance.
The area's quaking intensified for a moment as if it were about to fall apart -- from every corner of the network, the ground would twist and break apart as if someone had grabbed it by its corners and rung it out like a carpet. A blinding light would illuminate amidst the cracks of the worked terrain as if a white sun was buried beneath the crumbling ground, throwing everyone off balance, but no harm coming to anyone except those in the blast zone directly ahead of where Warrior was standing: The Kidnapper and his hostages.
Aqua Net remained just barely intact; the strike was concentrated on a specific portion of the network, sparing most of it despite the splashing effect it had. When the curtain of light finally faded away (after what seemed like an eternity amidst the catastrophe), everything that it had covered was completely erased.
Now, the only thing before Warrior was a field of glitchy 0's and 1's, desperately trying to reassemble themselves to bring the half-deleted network back together again, but to no avail. It was nearly incomprehensible what filled the great chasm infront of Warrior. Nothingness was difficult to describe, but there it was, extending as far as the eye could see between the triangular rift in front of him.
It was hard to determine what became of the kidnapper after all of that, but Warrior stood ready and prepared for any possibility. If the navi could survive the force of an attack powerful enough to delete an entire network, then he had to give him some credit. Unfortunately, though, Cherish and Xylia didn't have the same degree of durability.
There wasn't any dust left to settle or any smoke left to clear away -- all of that was deleted along with the rest of the earth before him. Whether or not any trace of the enemy even remained was a question in and of itself too, but more importantly, was the chance of victory worth the cost?

Again, he was surprised. That was happening a bit too much for one day. he released his grip on Xylia, and used it to open up a portal of darkness to envelop the pole arm...
And sent it straight back at Megami! Despite his newfound lust for the Jester Goddess, he had other matters to deal with first. just in time for Merrill to power down, and Warrior to unleash his strike...
The last thing he heard, you ask? The tormented screams of his two hostages as their bodies were eaten alive by the energy attack. There was a small noise, inaudible due to the chaos of Warriors attack.
He had underestimated that at least one of them would fire their strongest attack. he had to admit, he didn't think they would. But, that in itself explained to him many things about the two navi's. He chuckled, light closing in on his body. He wished he could see the look on the boy's face...
Nothingness... Darkness... Empty space... was all that remained.
MISSION... COMPLETE?
