Fulgur glares at the kidnapper. Hmph...Now he was mocking him... The boy's eyes narrow in frustration as their attacks fail. What would it take to damage him?!?!As ???? goes up to Phoebe, his eyes widen, flying at them."Get away from her!"
The boy oofs, grunting as he's slammed into the ground as the kidnapper uses him as a springboard.Groaning, the boy slowly stands up,regen repairing what damage he suffered from that stunt. As the jerk points a sword at Phoebe, his eyes widen."No!!"
Dang it, they were fighting harder!!! He just kept dodging and blocking!! Ful clutches his head, furious thoughts pounding through his head. But then that fury, that worry, began to fade away, something else replacing it. He...he had to protect her, defend her. He couldn't get distracted by these feelings, couldn't panic.
-Hey,buddy...sometimes, you'll get in a bad situation. When you're in this situation, you can't let yourself worry too much. Others will be counting on you,got that, shrimp?!- A smile quirks up his lip. Yeah...got it,old man.
The boy takes a breath, then flaps, going into the air again. Dodging repeatedly,he winces as one of his wings brush the last one, the regen struggling to keep the corruption back.As Megami goes on the attack, his busters raise up high into the sky, charging. When she finishes her attacks, he flies over, scooping her up."Sorry, gotta get you out of the way!!!Please wait till we're done fighting him to damage me please!!" When they were at a safe enough distance, the busters lower, clustered tightly into a triangle, maws glowing bright enough to bath the scene in front of them with light....Then they each fire a Wolf Roar at the same time. The three, large beams fuse into one, the head of a giant, roaring wolf capping the beam, aiming to devour the Kidnapper whole, it's light making it seem day had come back for a visit.
After that, he gently drops Megami down, making his busters spend rapidly around ????, firing as powerfully as they can at full auto. While they're doing that, he raises his hand, eyes glowing brightly."We'll stop you, count on it!!" Ful brings his hand back down, a huge lightning bolt made of a perfect melding of Light and Electricity coming down unerringly onto ????.Considering he was of the darkness, the damage should be doubled what it would normally be."Judgement Bolt!!!"

As their enemy challenged them, yet again, and this time, added a serious threat to it, Merrill’s anger started to rise. They could hardly scratch the bastard. He was frustrated, as everything he had thrown was blocked so far. He knew his foe was very strong. Was he going to have to use that attack? Did he have the time to prepare it, let alone, use it?
”I guess I have no choice…”
He flew up, over the initial shockwave, weaving and dodging left and right, making his way towards the edge of the battlefield. Diving, jumping, and even a barrel roll or two later, Merrill managed to scrape by except for one that clipped his hip, and one hit him square in the chest, knocking the wind out of him. Thank goodness he had saved up some energy, applying it to his wounds, healing him instantly. As soon as the attacks stopped, he made his move from the corner of the arena, right by the edge of the water, black flames and sand. He watched as Megami’s attack struck outwardly at those around her. He had been wise to move back, when he did.
He started gathering energy from all sources of Life around him. From the crabs in the sand, to the fish in the water, he started arousing the energy surrounding the battlefield. He did little to hide it, at this point. If he wanted to fight serious, then so be it. Merrill was done warming up. Sigils of Crosses, Diamonds, and Dragons appeared beneath his feet in an array of colors, White, Yellow, Black, Green, Blue, and Red. He clasped his hands together, and started chanting. Life and Death circled him, ready to defend him as needed. Would the others be able to hold their enemy off, and stop him from killing the Maiden?
Xylia did not fare as well, as she took the initial shockwave, which knocked her on her butt. She could only crawl, or jump, narrowly getting blown up by his attacks a few times. She even stared as one blew up inches from her face! She managed to survive with only a few minor scratches and bruises. And to think, he was toying with them… She had to admit, she was starting to wonder if they could defeat this foe…
She noticed that Megami had already started acting. Noting her anger and frustration. She actually had to jump back, dodging a few stray barrages. The Goddess navi was quite angry, and Xylia plotted her next move while she attacked. Then, as she did, she looked around, wondering where Merrill had disappeared to. When she figured it out, she could guess what he was going to attempt. And she knew it needed time. Fulgar’s “Judgment Bolt” just went off when she dashed over to Megami and Fulgar. She had mere seconds to explain what Merrill was planning. She spoke quickly and quietly, trying to convey without him knowing.
”Hey… We need to keep him dstracted. We need to by Merrill just a few minutes… He’s preparing to go all out, and he needs just a little time to collect energy. Please, keep up the barrage!”
Xylia then dashed away, towards Feint. She started throwing ice barrages, summoning up earthen and wooden tendrils, striking at their foe. She fired round of air bullets as she moved As she reached Feint, she stopped.
”Ma’am… Can you…”
She stopped. She stared at the girl’s face. It seemed like she knew her from somewhere. It couldn’t be…
Suddenly, she had a flashback. The sound of a buster in her ears. The sounds and screams of Death around her. And the face… The face of the officer who saved her life.
”Officer….Officer Feint? Is that really you?”

Feint raised her sword skyward as the unknown enemy stomped his foot to ready his attack. As the dark beams began to gather beneath Feint, her weapon's residual energy that had been scattered around the field from her last flurry of cuts suddenly rose from the ground and returned to the sword, giving it the brilliant shining aura from before.
Before the beams had the chance to shoot up, Feint stabbed the sword into the ground, discharging its energy into the earth and allowing it to soak up the beam that would have erupted directly beneath her. The surrounding beams were unimpaired, though, so they covered her from sight for a moment as the erupted all around her, scattering their goo over the ground and even landing on her in some points.
She grit her teeth at the burning pain, but stood her ground regardless. She had been struck by more powerful attacks than that in the past and had kept standing -- today would be no different.
As the shockwave of the enemy's landing came toward her, accompanied by black flames and waves of energy, Feint gripped the anchored sword tightly to keep her balance against the hurricane-force winds that traveled with each of the attacks. It provided little protection from the blows, so she more or less took them to the face.
" ... "
Feint spat out some of the black acid-like substance that somehow landed in her mouth during all of that. She removed the sword from the ground as her allies began attacking the mysterious navi with clear prejudice.
Her clothes were singed in many places from the acid, but they were still mostly intact. Crimson streams were far from unnoticeable as they poured from the visible wounds across her body and pooled in the parts of her clothes that still remained. Despite all this, she somehow maintained the persona of an upright, headstrong, and unphased combatant.
A girl had approached her before she made any further action -- the look on her face was one that Feint would only assume to be... shock?
”Officer... Officer Feint? Is that really you?”
"Just Agent, now. Didn't know I had fans."
Autographs would have to wait, though. Bigger things were at hand.
The realization that she wouldn't be able to defeat this enemy without her standard weaponry rushed into Feint's mind as she searched for an angle to strike from. Although there weren't any "good" options available, she wasn't one to not try when someone's life was at stake, even if it was (in her words: ) "just a Navi".
Fortunately, Fairy Boy had an end-all be-all in the works, so she didn't have to defeat this foe at all; she just had to keep it busy until Merrill's charging was complete.
She could do that.
After everyone had made their mark on the mysterious Navi, Feint leaped forward with a rather ambitious jumping-strike of the sword. She swung the sword lazily at him a few times, feigning exposure so that the enemy would think he had an opportunity to strike her down. She fought opposite side of Merrill so that while the Kidnapper's attention was on her, he wouldn't have vision of the attack that was charging.
If nothing else, Feint was a higher-priority target than Phoebe, so if the enemy saw the chance, he'd likely go for a killing blow against her first which would ultimately save Phoebe from the same fate and simultaneously give Merrill more time to charge.
A win-win in her book, but it sucked that she had to play the bait this time.

Excellent….
Mentally, his challengers were starting to wear out. He could feel the emotions leaking out of them now. What once was a solid mentality shared among the group was slowly fading…
Anger… Jealousy… Frustration… Fear… Rage… Hate… … Darkness…
He felt the emotions like a sixth sense. Even the Human seemed to show the fear on his face. And he appreciated it. Relished it all. The battlefield told no lies, as far as emotions go. As the counter attack begun, he could not help himself from enjoying the moment. He studied each navi’s raw emotion, from Fulgar’s despair, to Megami’s rage, and jealousy. Xylia’s fear, Xenneth and Merrill’s hate. To even Feint’s frustration. Each of them felt a negative emotion, the group as a whole was starting to release more negative energy than positive. It was a wonderful sight that he beheld.
Until a dark barrage of attacks hit his chest. With a grunt, he took a step back, staggering after the surprised attack. They hurt, but did not wound him profusely. He regained his footing, in time for a burst of lightning to surge down on him. That was shocking too. He staggered again, but fended off Xylia’s strikes fairly easily. He Jumped back, flipped over, landed on the balls of his feet, just in time, to block Feint’s first strike. He was able to counter her second strike with a thrust of his own. He sidestepped or blocked most of her other strikes, which seemed lackluster in comparison to her previous strikes. His hair stood up, from electric shock, and he felt a few bruises on his chest. But otherwise, he was fine. He stood, realizing not everyone participated in the assault on him. Nor did it seem that Feint, or Merrill gave him everything they had. He knew he could get more from all of them… He sighed dramatically.
”Well. In the end, if this is the best you can do as a team… I figured by now that I would have had more of a challenge…”
He waved his hand. The cage of darkness holding Phoebe vanished. As she began to fall, he resumed.
He looked at Merrill, grin appearing on his face again. He could tell the navi was doing some type of preparation, but he wasn’t sure what. He made his decision. Let’s see what the boy would do.
”Clearly you all haven’t been pushed enough. I don’t see much heavy breathing, or truthfully, enough of an effort to realize the life of the navi…”
He jumped, brandishing his sword. He darted at Phoebe at breakneck speed.
”THAT YOU COULD HAVE SAVED!”
He laughed, swinging the blade, aiming to cut Phoebe in half…

The silence of the situation was breath-taking. Feint could hear her own pulse as the scene unfolded and, as if time had slowed down from her perspective, she watched the kidnapper begin to swing his sword while only inches away from his victim.
The emotion of the scene was hard to pinpoint. Fear of Phoebe's death; Fear of Cherish's own failure. Regret for not being able to save her; Regret for not trying hard enough. Hatred toward her enemy for his actions; Hatred toward herself for her shortcomings.
Cherish buried the emotions as quickly as they came -- distraction had no place here -- but they kept rising again to challenge her headstrong spirit, demanding that she carry their burden as she stood below, only able to watch the event unfold, powerless to influence it.
And that was the word that caused her stoic persona to crack just a little bit: Powerless. The girl that kept a straight face most of the time curled her lip in disgust at the thought of the word -- it was the one thing she'd hoped could never describe her, yet she was the epitomy of it right now.
Nothing she could do would be quick enough to react to what was happening as she watched the final moments of Phoebe's life unfold. But something caught Cherish's eye just before the kidnapper's sword met Phoebe's body...
- BOOM! -
A sonicboom accompanied the sound of thunder just then, originating from the kidnapper's position. Something moving really fast had clearly made impact at that location, but it couldn't quite yet be told exactly what.
Looking back at the scene, the kidnapper was actually no where in sight -- Phoebe was left falling (just as she had been before), completely unharmed. Where did the kidnapper go, and what was that loud, thundering sonic boom?
- BOOM! -
Another sonicboom, this time louder than the first. The ocean retreated from the noise and even the clouds in the sky receded from the area. This time, the loud noise's point of origin was from the ground below where Phoebe was falling.
Looking back to the ground, they would find the kidnapper with his back buried into the sand underneath him. Standing over him was Warrior with his hand glowing and pressed down onto the kidnapper's chest -- the emotionless look in his eyes mirrored the stoic expression that Feint had just recently discarded due to frustration.
It took a moment to process everything that had happened in that split second, but quick recollection of it all would reveal the finer details: Warrior had just Pulsed In to the Cyber World, rocketing down like a comet on a collision course with the kidnapper, managing to catch him just in time to intercept his strike at Phoebe and carry him along on a breakneck trajectory to the ground.
It all happened quicker than the eyes could process, perhaps even faster than the Cyber World was even able to process with data moving that quickly, but that's where they found themselves now.
Up in the air, Phoebe would feel gentle arms catch her and carry her back down to the ground, finally safe from the danger she had been in before, but not quite in the clear just yet. They landed not far from where Merrill was gathering energy.
If Phoebe were to gaze upon the face of her savior, she'd notice the crimson eyes and the silver hair of the girl that held her in her arms: Faith Nymphra. The expression on her face was not quite "happy", but encouraging, as if she could non-verbally say to Phoebe "Hang in there, we're almost through this".
Faith knelt down to one knee, sitting Phoebe on the ground will letting her back rest against the raised knee. She'd welcome Fulgur or one of the others to come to Phoebe's aid; this was what they all came here for, so the mission of saving the girl was complete.
Back at the scene of conflict. Warrior's foot took the place of his hand on the kidnapper's chest as he stood over him and reached out toward Feint, signalling her to pass his sword. Normally she'd be reluctant and refuse such a gesture, but she had to give him credit this time for saving Phoebe's life, even if it was pretty close to the chest.
Warrior's eyes never left the kidnapper's.
"You've got a habit of picking on little girls."
Feint, who wasn't far, threw the sword gracefully so that all Warrior had to do was close his fingers as it drew near, landing effortlessly in his hand. He pointed it to the kidnapper's nose, staring directly down the blade where their eyes met without interference.
"Let's see how you do against somebody your own size."

?!
”Umph!”
*CRASH*
….
Well. That was unexpected. He coughed, looking up at Warrior, standing over him in this sand pit they created upon landing. He immediately smiled, despite the sword pointed down at him. As Warrior spoke, he laughed at his words.
”I wondered when you would show…”
He smashed his blade up, throwing Warrior off him. He flipped back, landing on his feet. He stretched his arms, releasing the tension and stress his chest had just endured.
”I guess I can get a little bit more serious…”
Sword in his right hand, he raised his left hand, a portal of darkness appearing above him. He reached in, and pulled out his hand, now pulling something long and thin… Was it a sword? No, the length of this green, black and red item was way too long…
He gave a swift yank. The weapon he held landed onto the sand. The long rope-like weapon was covered in green vines, thorns poking out along the sides. But not only was it covered in thorny vines, but beautiful, crimson red roses. And there were roses that were open and some that were budding, and some were closed. But the thing that was notable, was that these roses were dripping with some kind of acid. For the drops that hit the sand, it evaporated the sand like it was water. He raised the sword in one hand, and the whip in the other.
”I’m done playing around now. I can finally get serious...”
He looked over at Warrior. His voice became cold again, like it had been when he first met them, right after killing the viruses.
”You have only delayed the inevitable, boy. You couldn’t scratch me last time. This time, the result will be the same…”
Dark, black energy arose around him.
"Even if you have gotten stronger... It is no match for me. But come, "Carve your name into my corpse!"
NORMAL POST ORDER CONTINUES

The Maiden felt a sudden rush of pressure rip through her form, awakening her before unconsciousness plummeted her into it's abyss. Instead, Gravity decided to plummet her, it's downward course demanded total obedience. Burned silver strands whipped wildly around her face with her stained dress flurrying about, vital fluid defying Gravity's law all the while. A sacred soul frozen in fear, unable to process what was happening, headed pure instinct. Drawing her arms together, crossed before her face, the onyx point drove forward with purpose. The purpose to end it all.
What is happening?... What... What is going on?... Why?...
Bracing to meet Deletion once more, tiny ears perked to a thunderous boom. But... There were no puffs of air sailing the twinkling, starlit sky tonight. No cloud threatening to cover the Moon's face with it's whiff of smoke. Daring a peak, the Maiden peered to see the Dark Wielder. Not before her face, but beneath her, in the center of a small crater accompanied with... a Warrior. A Powerful Warrior, not with his impressive skills, but with his strong heart. Oblivious to her own situation or surroundings, Phoebe felt tender arms wrap themselves around her tired self. Alert once more, amethyst hues turned to greet sunset shades of orange boarded with pulled-back spiky silver hair. Blinking rapidly, the Maiden could only meet her Gracious Rescuer's encouraging expression with a soft, thankful one in return. Registering slowly all that had occurred, Phoebe's heartbeat began to return to a reasonable rate matching the gradual descent to the sandy shores.
Propped up against her Gracious Rescuer's knee, the Maiden could fully examine her injuries. While her natural restoration kept her from death, the Maiden was far from safety even with the Winged Knight finalizing preparations. Her internal organs were functioning and all the bleeding had stabilized, true, but her melted skin and charred hands were nothing to dismiss lightly. She had lost sensation in her fingers and her surroundings were inaudible to her petite ears. The Maiden sticky ruby dress clung to every curve, scorched skin molding to the fabric. Phoebe could not help but let tears fall in pain, not for herself, but for others. Her Captor, overwhelmed in hurt, nursed himself into dark depths. Her comrades had given so much, sacrificing their time and efforts into saving her. Now, she must do the same.
Wrapping both petite hands around her Gracious Rescuer's shoulder, the Maiden mustered what energy she could. Pulling herself upright by herself, Phoebe found her two feet and slowly stood. The Maiden released her Gracious Rescuer with a glint of gratitude in her amethyst orbs. Turning toward the Dark Wielder, Phoebe hobbled onward. The simple movement caused more harm than good as her body deteriorated further, reopening sensitive wounds with every single step she took. Still she carried on, struggling, yet profound strength echoing with every single step. The Maiden growing more sure as she walked, standing upright with a regal surety and something... More. Her trials were drowned by her desire for the fighting to cease. Her throbbing anguish, ignored by her wish to end the suffering of others. Her need for rest, silenced by will to carry on.
The tiny, sapphire butterfly, once burrowed into moon-spun strands, flew to perch itself onto the Beautiful Woman's nose. Entrusted to her for safekeeping, the gentle caress of it's wings emitted such needed comfort. The Maiden hoped it would offer some peace to her beloved friend...
Standing tall, the Maiden drew her hands together with fingers intertwined in a prayer. Bending to her unheard call, ribbons of Aurora Borealis glided through the starry heavens. Shades of blues and greens collaborated to offer a breathless sight. Phoebe's faith in uplifting others' hearts sent a splendor of colour and light to so many, desperate to give something to all... Hope. Filled with purpose, the Maiden gazed at her Abductor. Unblinking. Unfazed. Still as a statue, her surrounding comrades may think of her as odd or strange in their confusion, but the Maiden continued. Piercing his mind, unknowingly to him, Phoebe gleaned for answers and information.
Why?... Why so much pain?... Why so much suffering?...
Manipulating the Dark Energies within her Abductor, the Maiden's invasion advanced largely undetected. Her comrades would not find out about her mind's talents mixed with the shadows. She was certain of it. Although there was the question of it's duration. While Phoebe did not know how long she could do this, she would give her undivided attention to the endeavour if it meant ending the battle. She had to. She had to do this.
With each passing second her Abductor's Darkness waned, briefly immobilizing him due to shock. Phoebe bloomed streams of Light inside her Captor's system. Steadily traveling through his veins, it's corrosiveness proved to be detrimental to his very being. His skin slicing itself, his organs failing to function and his own strength fading. Evident by the thorny, toxic rope weakly held in his dominant hand.
Phoebe had no pleasure in this. None whatsoever. She did not like to fight. She did not like to see others' suffering. She would take it all on her own shoulders if it meant an end. But... The end would not come. This was the only way she knew how to end the battle, not just with swords or spears, but to end the battle within. To end the negativity.

”Well. In the end, if this is the best you can do as a team… I figured by now that I would have had more of a challenge…”
"No..." the feeling of heir synchronicity not being good enough was overwhelming.
”Clearly you all haven’t been pushed enough. I don’t see much heavy breathing, or truthfully, enough of an effort to realize the life of the navi…”
"No..." The feeling that he was not good enough was depressing.
”THAT YOU COULD HAVE SAVED!”
[smear:f25eff]"Noooo!"[/smear:e6de19]
They failed again?!
It was an unacceptable feeling! The second that the blade swung down, Megami's body burst out one more with the swirling rings around her body. Her hand reached shoving against the chest of Fulgur. The rage in her eyes as she looked at him was indescribable. The ally that was supposed to be working along with her had been acknowledged now...as an obstacle. He stood in her way! He was in the way of helping Xenneth wish to save his friend! He stood in the way of her pleasing the person she loved!
His ambitious soul stirred a flame in her.
Megami reached to Fulgur, grasping at his body until her chest that had been glowing of light had become tainted with the wicked aura around her body. The glow became malevolent, wrapped in a purple dim glow that started to enshroud her form. She was synchronizing with him, but also there was a contempt for their unholy synchronicity. With her brief stare, her lips moved to utter one phrase before he even had a chance to drop her body down.
"Chaos...Unison..."
Megami's body burst into a thick aura of purple that enshrouded her like flames in Fulgar's grasp. The next thing that reached out was the hilt of a mighty pole-arm that aimed to thrust him into the chest with the force of a wreaking ball. With a whip of the weapon, the aura broke away revealing nothing in the space as the sea breeze became disturbed by a force that flew through the air with the speed of a lightning bolt. The new found energy of a unified spirit met with the malevolent, untamed force of darkness.
In that brief maelstorm of movements, Phoebe was rescued by a familiar friend.
"Phoebe is free..."
Only Xenneth seemed to acknowledge this, but Megami had already been moving. The eyes of the female NetNavi had been wide and focused with a rage unparallel. Her hands reached sweeping the polearm as she arrived from behind the kidnapper. Her body finally appearing, but before anyone could register her attack, they would notice her find details: her head adorned with a jester-like hat that had a thunderbolt risen one one hand and a droplet of water on the bottom, the flowing yellow ribbon that tied around her body and was carried by a force like a gentle wind, and not to mention her body adorned by jewelry synonimous with the sounds of a wind chime during a brewing storm.
"Megami-chan!"
The cry was inaudible to Megami's ears. The only thing she could hear now was the sound of her crackling blade at the end of her pole-arm endowed with thunder. Her body multiplied many times over as if it seemed as if after images of the female NetNavi had appeared in three. One blade drew close to the neck of the kidnapper, the next drawing to the chest area, and the next to the torso as her speedy images intended to cleave the villain into three.
"That's dimension steal...but I..."
He had not slipped in the chips, and he was sure as his eyes went to the side to remember they were used to support their friends. However, it seemed through her ambition, her jealous rage, and her anger with this program; she had revived the chip data alone using her murderous rage as she intended to cleave the NetNavi. Xenneth was dreading the thought that time was repeating itself. Even if she had not turned her blade against her friends, she was turning it to a foe with no mercy or consideration for any of his reasons.
"So...this is the path you two have chosen..."
The whisper coming from the P.E.T. drew Xenneth's attention for only a moment, but his worry was more towards Megami was in mid-battle. The butterfly that Phoebe created obscured her vision was torn asunder losing its wings from her sword swings and surely to plummet to the grains of sands below, and now, the villainous kidnapper was to be next.

Fulgur breathes a sigh of relief, lowering his hand after the attack, and nods at Xylia's words. At least one of his attacks actually hit him...But maybe he could do more. Then, eye's widening in fright as the cruel navi drops the Maiden they were supposed to save, the boy prepares to drop Megami and fly after her. If he could get there,he could take the hit and..
Feeling a hand against his chest, Ful glances down, gasping at the rage in her eyes.Why...As she grabs on,he squirms."C-come on, I need to save her!!Let go!"The next few minutes became a flurry of shock, flame, and action, and with a crunch of metal and a pained cry, the young navi flies backward, the metal over his chest and surrounding his crest crushed and distorted.
Ignoring the pain,he flies at Phoebe's falling form, trying hard to reach her as his body works on repairing itself. Thankfully, a powerful stranger intervenes, saving the girl. With a sigh of relief,Ful lands with a shuffle of sand and a hum of light beside them, smiling reassuringly at Phoebe, though his brows furrowed in sympathy at the damage.Thankfully, his Warrior Spirit was hard already at work repairing any wounds of his comrades, and would now be supporting another addition as well.
He glances at said addition gratefully."Thank you. That was really close." The boy turns his gaze to Phoebe, smiling gently and speaking reassuringly."It's really good you're free.Don't worry, I have a little talent in regen. You should be ok in a little bit." Tilting his head as she gets up and moves towards the kidnapper, Ful neverless follows, his Hyper Mode fading away and being replaced by his standard armor.
Despite that, he stands by her protectively, hoping continued closeness would somehow boost the regen progress. Watching in concern as Megami attacks, the young navi hurriedly catches the dewinged butterfly, holding it gently.Wait...Didn't...didn't the ice armored lady say something about her comrade needing to charge up for energy? Maybe...maybe he could still help...Ful sends some spare energy Merril's way, hoping it helps.

eat.
eat.
Eat.
Eat.
EAT.
EAT.
EAT!
DEVOUR!
The Lupine Navi moved, his scarlet eyes blazing with something that may have been hunger, had he been been an organic. Something had come to Aquanet, recently. Something...different. He knew not what it was, but only that his body yearned to test itself against it. He had been gone for too long to the Undernet, tearing apart virii as he found them and leaving little more than a mass of deleted data in his wake. He needed to hunt, kill and eat- the ferocity that had been programmed into him at the start had long since returned.
He moved, his body having lumbered down to all fours as he moved, his nose at work as he inhaled in short, rapid bursts, looking to find the source of this strange creature that made its appearance in the Aquanet. There was the scent of danger around it, which only served to make the wolven that much more...eager...to encounter it. The best meals were of those that were the hardest to kill. The stronger the navi, the more powerful the virus, K-414 would grow increasingly ready to tear such a thing into pieces and devour all that remained of it.
The footsteps paused then, as the beast's eyes widened as he saw the black flames that danced in resistance to all that might pass by them. Interested, the beast loped over toward them, moving from all fours to a standing position as he did so. He was more steady on all fours, but he tended to move more quicly when he only stood on his hind legs. As he approached the flames, the heat that radiated off of them was immense- he shied away from the pyre for a moment, before he gave a low growl.
He would not be intimidated by such things.
With a motion, he pushed his hand out into the fire, as if testing its intensity. THe flames licked across the fur of his hand, the black flame threatening to spread, but stopping after a few inches, as if contained to its location. The wolven navi pulled his hand back, inspecting the damage from the fire, even as his systems, programmed to recover, began to rapidly put the pieces of his body back together. The flames had nearly burnt his hand down to a nub, but he had not cried out, had not indicated any sort of pain. If anything, the brilliant scarlet of his eyes had simply grown all the more excited.
The fore continued to burn out on his hand, the last few wisps of that shadowflame vanishing as they were pulled too far from their origin. "Pathetic," the beast growled, even as he watched his now-destroyed hand. However, the hand didn't stay dilapidated for long as the data that made up his body began to reconstruct the damaged limb, building it from the ground up in a matter of just a few seconds, leaving it right as rain. Experimentally, he opened and closed it a few times, flexing it to make sure it was fine and that this hellfire didn't have any particular lasting effects.
Giving a low growl, the beast moved then, and simply strode through the flames. He didn't run, didn't dive, he simply walked, letting the fire burn at his body, his systems, and everything in between as he strolled forward as if it were a walk in the park.
Richard: You're one crazy bastard, K.
K-414.exe: This cannot stop me. I am curious to see whatever crafted this manner of defense so I can show it just how pathetic it was.
Richard: You never change. Good to have you back.
It had been Richard, K-414's netOP, that had found him in the state that he'd been before and formatted his core data back to where it had been before. He'd rooted out the weird data that had seemingly bound itself to the navi's framework and replaced it back with the Company Approved systems. And, much to Richard's relief, the K-414 unit had been just as efficient at rooting out virii as it had always been, if not moreso, now. Whatever time he'd spent after what had happened in Creamland seemed to have changed him for the better. Or the stronger, anyway.
The beast loped forward, watching as something descended from the heavens like a comet, only it was headed to the ground not to far before him. His pace quickened as he began to sprint forward, excited now to see what new thing this was. Whatever combat was to happen, the wolfbeast needed to be part of it.
He arrived as a powerful-looking Navi reached skyward, pulling what appeared to be a long whip-like item from the nether. He had no idea what was going on, and frankly, he didn't much care. He did acknowledge that there were others here, but his focus was solely on the one that was clamoring to be the center of attention, like some sort of primadonna. But at his words, a wicked grin split K-414's face. Heedless of whatever acid or poison or whatever the whip had, the beast lunged forward. He was aware of a woman wielding a polearm attacking as well, but K-414 was very much concerned with only one thing that this creature had indicated...and that was to tear him apart.
With a howl of fury, K-414 rushed forward, his entire body like a whirling mass of teeth, claws, and pain as he rushed forward toward the navi. Power built in his right arm, the limb beginning to give off a dull, muted glow even as he, heedless and overtly aggressive as he always was, moved for the blade hand, his jaw opening and, with virii-melting saliva dropping from his feral maw, clamped his fangs down on this kidnapper's arm, his claws raking against the opponent's body, anywhere that he could find purchase.
He would devour this one- anyone who had a death wish like this creature did deserved to be eaten.

Xylia was starting to get tired, after slinging around so many attacks. As she stopped, She realized that their enemy not only had blocked or dodged them all, but had not been joking that he had only been playing around. As he drew out his other weapon, she took a deep breath. Now he would be even more difficult to deal with, and she was already being pushed. She took a second to glance back at Merrill when she heard those words of death. She froze. Would he attack her again? She had no time to react as their enemy was already on the move.
But not for her. Xylia turned and saw with horror that he was targeting Phoebe. She could only watch as the distance between the Maiden and the Dark navi closed at an incredible rate. Time seemed to slow, and Xylia’s heart started racing. But then, everything changed. The sonic-boom of Warrior had appeared with not much more than a moment to spare, to save Phoebe. As the dust settled, and Warrior could be seen, Xylia sighed in relief. The other swordsman had shown. Xylia trusted Warrior, as he had saved her life once already. As the two swordsman exchanged words. She took the time to prepare another attack. But she knew she didn’t have many left, without opening the small book around her neck. She did not want to have to open it, either. She wasn’t ready. She wasn’t sure. But she was relieved by the inclusion of another ally.
She watched Phoebe fight through her pain. She watched as Megami gave into her rage and attacked furiously. Fulgar was healing up the others and readying for another round. She must do the same. She leaned over, placing her palms against the sand.
”Gelida Clavi, Angulo eum!”
Her cry rang out. Suddenly, rows of ice spikes rose around their foe and Megami as she attacked repeatedly. She rose again, catching her breath. She snuck a glance at Merrill…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
”Not again!
He could make it in time… In return for all the energy he had collected so far. Just as he was about to, Warrior saved the day. Excellent! He smiled, if only for a moment. His brother had saved a life. Call it a win, but this was far from over. He refocused on the task at hand.
*Pant*
*Pant*
”More…”
Merrill’s body was generating life energy as fast as possible. Waves of colors of energy started rising up now. The energy around his body came alive.
”More!”
The energy now becoming more physical, the wind around him picking up, sand now blowing around at his feet. The symbols and Sigils at his feet pulsed with energy and power. But it still wasn’t enough.
”I need more!”
Even with Fulgar’s spare energy, he hadn’t generated enough. Something crossed his mind. A little read fiery headed face. Grinning from ear to ear. Two little yellow eyes.
Healer…
Another face. Two silver, stern, quiet eyes looked back at him. Ever vigilant. Always there to shield him and Healer.
Defender...
Memories suddenly flooded through him of his family. Laughter, smiles, shared meals, albeit some burnt because Healer roasted things too much. Memories of battles and sparring matches. Pushing each other to the limits. Holiday parties, some with Warrior and Remnant and so many others…
”My family…”
He had felt like he hit a wall. For all the energy he was generating, he was losing some to not enough control. He thought of when the last sparring match between him and Warrior. Healer was cheering the entire time. She always believed in him. His body started to stress from the pressure of so much life energy. His body was overflowing with it. He wasn’t sure he could pull it off. Megami and Xylia were already striking and starting to wear down. Time was running out, again.
The picture of Merrill, Healer, Defender, and Warrior taken at a Christmas party, sveral years back…
”I believe in you…”
Merrill felt the tears rolling down his cheeks.
*CRACK*
*CRACK*
*CRACK*
*SHATTER!*
And the picture of them all shattered into a thousand shards.
The resulting noise from the general vicinity of the Life energy navi rippled outward as if there had been an eruption. White Light burst forth in such a blinding fashion that all darkness, even of night, seemed to vanish for a few short moments. The second wave of light rippled through each navi separately. Its trace leaving the resemblance of peace and tranquility. Merrill’s scream was lost to the sheer noise of the energy and the light.
”…”
At first, Merrill’s body was hidden underneath the pure bright light. He lit up the area like a freaking candle. So bright that the first explosion of light had turned the sand he had stood on and charged on became pure Diamond. The white figured slowly walked along the edge of the wall of darkness. Upon reaching to where Faith, Phoebe and Fulgar were, he raised his hand against the wall. White hot energy licked along the wall of flames, burning right through. White ate black, leaving a hole big enough for anyone to escape through if they were careful. As he turned and walked towards the small group, the bright light began to fade…
Bright blue hair glistened underneath the radiant white light. The tips were white as snow however. The energy rippled off of his body like white flames. The outer light clearer and more see through. The closer to his body, the brighter and more flame-like it became. His body was covered in it. His armor was completely hidden or replaced by this white-fire. His arms were bare, his muscles free. His armored shirt was of some flexible material, but the true defense was in that white-fire-like light that encased him. His hands were still gloved, however. And his regular shoes had been encased in white armored boots. The crystal on his forehead glowing almost blindingly bright, too painful to stare at, even with his hair. Even his wings, encased in a radiant warm heat. The closer he came, the warmer spirited it became by his allies and his allies would all feel relief and energy return to their bodies. Pure Light would encumber his foes. And his eyes… Full of Life itself.
With every step, a white blade of pure Light energy appeared around his body at his back, behind where his wings were, and around his shoulders and arms. A few even appeared behind his legs. These white blades had blue crystals at the hilt similar to his hair. It was like he was a fiery, semi-armored porcupine. Most of the blades down past his arms and legs where HUGE, as long as his body. The ones by his wings were of closer to a regular sword length, similar to Life and Death. His control over such power was much more refined. The energy moved at his will, his beck and call. He held control over it. He had never controlled this much energy before, especially without an explosion.
As he reached them, he reached Phoebe first. He unclasped his cloak, which had been floating around his wings, as it was too small and unfit for his current form. He wrapped it around her, placing one hand on her head. Warmth enveloped the wounded Maiden. Her injuries began to fade, replaced by warmth, peace, tranquility. Even her charred hands would heal before her very eyes. He pushed a wave of light through her body, immediately cancelling any dark connections between her and her captor. He turned to Fulgar and by extension, Faith and spoke calmly. Megami’s fit of rage would die down momentarily, so he wasted no time.
”Get her out of here. The goal was to see her to safety. I entrust that to you. You have an exit. I don’t care how much she resists. Get her out of here. Failure is not an option.”
He turned and walked forward, not waiting on a response. He passed Xylia, and patted her gently on the head. He gave her a quick hug and with a small smile, he spoke.
”You too. Get somewhere safe.”
He walked past Feint. He walked up to Warrior, offered a fist bump of success at his brother’s badassery, before stepping forward.
Healer flashed across his mind. An image of her smile, cracked and vanished. He stared at their foe. They were so close, that the white and black of their energies negated each other, directly in the middle between them.
”You… harmed innocent people. You took the lives of those I loved…”
The humming of Merrill’s power could be faintly heard around him. The White-Fire-Light began to spark, flare and cackle.
”But you can never take away the memories… You can never take the love that they showed me…”
He raised his hand forward. While Life, Death and Faith radiated and rotated above, a hilt appeared. Merrill grabbed the bladeless weapon. The crystal hilt had one blue and one white gem in the middle of the hilt. They immediately started glowing upon his touch.
”And there is one other thing you can’t take away…”
The light flared up again, brighter, as Merrill stated down those evil eyes. He gave a small smile. He stared right at their foe with that smile, never hesitating. He thought of that picture, all of them smiling and goofing around in the snow. Their laughing faces.
"We Believe.."
*THUD*
”THAT THEY BELIEVE THAT WE WILL DEFEAT YOU!”
In the blink of an eye, Merrill threw a lightning fast left cross, closing the gap between them in an instant. He dashed behind their foe, and threw a quick kick. He then threw his right hand forward, with the bladeless hilt in a downward slash. Light bust out of the hilt like a white beam, adjusting its length. The heat and light of the blade so sharp that it cut through the through the sand like nothing. He spun his body in a circle, the multitude of blades rotating and striking out.
He threw his left hand forward, and the blades that hovered above his hand darted forward like homing bullets, striking out at their foe. His body almost instantly replaced them, as he had the energy to filter. He slashed again with his bladeless weapon, another light beam following the arc. Dust flew up everywhere as Merrill’s speed created such winds. He slid along the ground on his feet, body already charging his energy. He just needed a few extra minutes, and was going to try and end this with his next blast. He hoped that as the dust settled, he’d have an open firing line, and could obliterate anything in front of him. He knew that Warrior was itching to go, and Merrill hoped he had created an opening for Warrior to keep their enemy busy while he charged more energy. He knew his body was getting used to this sheer power, and would not be able to hold it for long, especially since his body was unaccustomed to it.
More Energy. More light. More power. The brightness of the white light began to pulse, as Merrill’s body began to prepare to unleash all of the stored energy that he had saved up since he arrived in the Aqua net. Would it be enough? His body began to fade behind the pure light as time passed, the sheer power that he had generated and stored as he manipulated it around his body.

Warrior shifted his weight while airborne after being knocked off of the kidnapper, reacquiring his footing midair and landing gracefully just outside of the sand pit.
" Even if you have gotten stronger... It is no match for me. But come, 'Carve your name into my corpse!' "
Warrior grinned at the kidnapper's challenge. It felt good to know his quote sunk in from last time.
The glowing light on Warrior's hand suddenly encompassed his entire body as well as his sword, shining like a bright aura around him. It was clear that he was much stronger now than he was before.
Last time they had fought, Warrior was reliant on Remnant for his strength, and Remnant was absent from that battle. But now, it was clear that Jacob Rayner was fully capable on his own to put up a fight, with or without Remnant's presence.
And last time they had fought, Warrior was concerned with the stability of the network that they were fighting in, hoping not to destroy it. But now, this wasn't the case. He was determined to bring this enemy down, with or without the network intact.
'Carve your name into my corpse', the enemy requested.
" I'd like to say I keep my promises... "
Warrior raised his sword skyward -- all the energy encompassing his body transferred to his sword, causing it to shine with a white brilliant light. The hilt of the sword turned crimson, and the blade, onyx black. The white aura around the blade slowly shifted colors until it became crimson as well. This transformation had been seen once before at Bayside City by a few that were present.
As he held it above his head, the blinding light that emanated from Merrill was suddenly swallowed by darkness again as Warrior's sword drew in the ambient energy. Like pulses throughout the entire network, the brilliant light would resurge from Merrill, then be reabsorbed into Warrior's sword, as if the two of them were powering each other up constantly; the ying to each other's yang.
Aqua Net shook violently as the earth quaked in the presence of the force in his hands. Even the neighboring networks of Element City and ONB Headquarters felt the it; the entire Electopian Network shook, but something about this quaking was unnatural.
This wasn't simply the result of tectonic plates grinding against each other. No, this was the shaking of fear.
This was the Cyber World's immediate response to the attack that it would soon witness, remembering precisely what happened the last time it had happened.
The area continued to quake for quite some time -- this strike had the power to delete an entire network (and had done so in the past), but Warrior didn't swing his weapon quite yet. This was everyone's warning to either back away or be destroyed alongside the kidnapper; Warrior was determined to destroy this threat here and now, regardless of who was caught in the blast zone.
" ... but there might not be any corpse left when I'm done. "
Fortunately, he could concentrate the blast zone into a specific portion of the area instead of trying to kamikaze with everyone inside. Any spot behind him would be safe. But anything in front faced the threat of prejudice deletion.
He didn't mean to leave Merrill hanging on the brofist, but his attention was clearly stolen at the moment.
Feint crossed her arms at the scene. Seemed like every one but her had some sort of game-changing charging-blast. Not that it bothered her though -- she'd have had this whole thing dealt with already if she'd had her suit and gun from the get go.
Without a weapon and clearly without a need of sticking around (since fairy boy and the wanna-be hero were holding enough firepower to nuke the entire Electopian continent), she approached the exhausted Xylia, clearly aware of her fatigue.
Cherish may have been a tad concerned for her, but she'd never show it.
" As much as I'd love to stick around for the pissing contest, I think it's time to take a step back. Let's just say they like to spray. "
Cherish didn't really speak in parables or riddles that often, but her advice basically translated to: "let's not get caught in the blast radius".
She waited for Xylia before moving toward the exit. Phoebe already had an escort, but Cherish felt like this girl may need one as well.
Faith acknowledged Merrill's advice and stood up after Feint's loud voice carried passed Xylia's ears to everyone that was present. She came to Fulgur and Phoebe to usher them out through the exit Merrill had created.
" She's not wrong. We must trust our ally's advice. "
Merrill told them to evacuate; Nymphra had faith that he advised it for a good reason. She waited for Fulgur and Phoebe before heading to the exit herself.
The Wolf and the Berserk Goddess did not leave her mind, but the one was fresh and new to the fight, and the other was certainly in a less co-operative mood than before. They'd handle themselves fine, she believed -- it wasn't them that she was tasked to evacuate.
Faith gently grabbed Phoebe's wrist, particularly intent on getting her out as Merrill had requested.
" Please, do not resist. Have faith in him. "
She wouldn't insist as much on Fulgur following, but perhaps, given the situation, it would be wise for him to as well.

His words had the effect he was looking for, finally. One had completely given into the darkness. He smiled. Attempting to hurt her own ally to him. As she appeared behind him, he turned, a huge smile appearing on his face. He stared directly into the eyes of the Majestic Jester Goddess with admiration, glee and desire as she stabbed into him. He was quick, but the combination of that chip from earlier was better. He stopped the one from his neck and chest, but the one targeting his torso was only misdirected by his sword. It clipped his hip. He let out a chuckle as they danced in battle, his speed matching Megami’s nearly perfectly, as they danced around, him meeting and deflecting most of her blows. Darkness and Lighting clashed and danced in tandem to the murder in Megami’s eyes. A few escaped though, leaving cut marks on his arms and sides. Nearing the end of their dance, he used a burst of speed forward, under one of her thrusts. He locked his sword against the pole-arm, leaned in, gave her a kiss on the cheek, and flipped his arm up, sending her momentum up. In that moment, he kicked her away back towards the others, snapping his Rose whip towards her with a vertical strike. And in that same moment, was oblivious of the new challenger who had jumped on him from behind.
The Lupine navi got the jump, and they tumbled to the ground. The Lupine navi got his maw on hos sword hand, around the hilt. He was lucky that his hand was armored to where he wouldn’t lose fingers, but the pressure was still crippling to where his hand started to go numb. He dropped his weapons, and he rolled, so he was under the beast navi. A claw was dug into his hip where the Jester Goddess had wounded him before.
The pain… He relished in it. Physical pain…. Excited him. The rush… He hadn’t felt in a while. He finally got a leg under K-414, and kicked up, giving him momentum to roll over on top of him. He got his knee on the navi and managed to slam a wave of darkness down upon the beast navi, freeing his hand. He used the darkness to pin him to the sand, long enough for him to stand up. He then grabbed K-414, lifted him up, and gave a roundhouse kick to the navi’s chest, sending him towards Warrior. He then sent a blast of dark goo too the navi to keep him busy.
He felt Merrill’s transformation before he saw the now blue-white sparkling fairy candle. He watched and let the boy have his moments with the others. He was grinning from ear to ear as the boy approached him. Like with Megami, he enjoyed pushing others to their physiological limits. He was however, intrigued by the fact that unlike Megami, Merrill didn’t go dark. His intentions were clear though that the boy was going to attempt to harm him. Odd. He never let on to his thought process though as he continued to let him speak.
*THUD*
That… Did he just get PUNCHED?
”The Hell?”
He felt the navi move past him as he staggered from the punch. He turned and fended of the kick with ease. As the next attack arrived, he barely had time to consider the bladeless weapon before he moved just a hair to the side in the nick of time. The next swing though, he barely deflected to the side with the whip. In an attempt to counter attack, he thrust his blade forward, only to have it deflected by the ludicrous amount of sword like blades that were suddenly coming his way. He jumped back in the nick of time, despite his injuries. As the boy charged up energy again, he prepared to strike with his whip when he realized what the two navi’s had been planning. He felt the net shake. While he was not afraid, he did commend them for the improvement in skills. Had he not given them so much time, he could have had more fun with all of them. But alas, there was only one of him to toy with all of them. He had to admit, as the moments grew, the rate at which they were powering up their attacks was impressive. But his eyes caught something. Everyone else was leaving! But then, he had an idea. Probably his most dangerous one yet. But the information he could learn would be valuable if he pulled it off. He dropped his sword to the ground, and raised his hand.
”Guess I’m going to have to pull out one of my tricks…”
A black portal appeared. He thrust his hand through…
And yanked Xylia through the second portal that was created next to her and Feint! He held her by the neck, and brought her body close, as if to use her as a shield. He snapped his whip forward, and got it wrapped around Feint’s waist. He pulled on it, and the Magical whip forced Feint to be next to Xylia, wrapped around Feint, the whip began to wrap itself around Xylia too, slowly crawling up her legs. He mocked them.
”So boys… What will you do now? Will you drop your blasts to save these girls? Or will you kill them to try and get to me? Decisions, decisions…”
He knew this was dangerous. He knew he was playing with fire. But he was too concerned with retrieving as much data on these navi’s as he could.
”Either drop those charges, Or I’ll kill them.”
He didn’t believe they would actually fire and kill their own. Plus, this time, he made sure that no amount of speed would stop him from snapping Xylia’s neck if Warrior tried anything.

Cherish was caught off guard the the whip that shot toward her and wrapped around her waist. It twirled around her several times, entangling both arms at the elbows as well. She managed not to yelp at the thorns digging into her body, but the pain in her face was undeniable and the poison-esque substance leaking from the roses wasn't doing any favor.
Before she knew it, she was next to Xylia again who was being held up by the throat in the hands of Phoebe's kidnapper. She buried the pain when she realized the situation she was in.
The mysterious navi certainly knew how to nullify the threats of Warrior and Merrill, she had to give him that. She couldn't do much from where she was standing, though -- one wrong move and Xylia's neck would be snapped.
" Guess you really do like picking on little girls. Typical creeper -- you fit your stereotype well. "
It still wasn't a good time to strike. Not that she was even in the position for that to begin with. Cherish turned her head back to Merrill and Warrior, just to display to the kidnapper who was really in control of the situation.
" Spare the fireworks, boys. We all know you don't have it in you, so no need to waste any time. "
Crimson blood seeped through her clothing where the whip had enticed her, but it was quickly drowned out by the black acid that the roses were infecting her with.
" Ngh! "
Feint grimaced in pain as the poison from the rose-whip infiltrated her bloodstream, forcing her to hang limp from the whip in what appeared to be paralysis. The acid was certainly potent; she was past the point of shrugging things off, now.
Meanwhile at the back lines, Warrior gripped his sword tightly and evaded the hound that the kidnapper had sent flying his way. The situation got trickier, but was almost optimal now that Megami and K-414 were out of the blast radius. Now the only problem was that Cherish and Xylia were pinned down, and they weren't going anywhere unless he and Merrill abandoned their commitment to destroy him.
”Either drop those charges, Or I’ll kill them.”
" ... "
It was a tough call. Abandon everything they had worked so hard to achieve, just to save two hostages? Or follow through and ensure that their enemy doesn't escape?
The pros and cons ran through Warrior's head more quickly than he could comprehend, but he hadn't yet dropped his charge.
He found Feint's quip to be a little insulting. For all intents and purposes, Cherish was better than Jacob in every way. In many ways he admired her for that, but in other ways, he was jealous of her because of it. Deleting her digital body wouldn't kill her, so that lessened the kidnapper's threat, but maybe it'd gain Warrior some respect from Feint when all was said and done.
But what about Xylia? Warrior had fought tooth and nail to save her from the kidnapper during their last encounter. It'd be a lost cause to just allow him to kill her now (or even to blow them both up with his and Merrill's combined attacks).
There was no easy answer.
" Merrill... "
But maybe Merrill could decide for him. Warrior continued holding his charge to give time for his partner's input.
" What do you think? "
He'd let him make his decision first.

Xylia had no time to react as she was captured. She fought desperately to get air. She kicked, and tried to scratch him, to little avail. She slowly was losing strength. Would Merrill or Warrior Save them? She was entirely helpless. She was horribly scared. She didn't want to die. The whip was slowly wrapping itself around her, and it hurt. But she couldn't cry out as she could hardly breathe. She immediately started flashbacking to the last time... And her savior from then was stuck wrapped up next to her.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Merrill just stared as Xylia appeared from a dark portal how held hostage by their foe.
"NO!"
He snarled under his breath. Just when they have an opening, the crafty bastard takes it from them. With Xylia trapped, he couldn't fire.
As the enemy spoke, his dismay was worsened because he had no choice but to comply.
"Fine."
He wouldn't let Xylia or Feint die. He would find a way to save them. As Warrior spoke, he responded.
""No. We can't. It isn't a guaranteed we could get JUST him. He could use them as shields to escape or something. We know how fast he is. I refuse to sacrifice Xylia or Feint on this one. Sorry. Besides... we can negotiate... I suppose right now, that is the only option we have."
He sighed. Slowly, he let the charge down, reverting some of the energy into the air, some to the others behind him to heal them and some to his feet, preparing to dash in at any opening. He had the speed. He held his current form, but he wouldn't be able to get off his blast now... He waited for warrior to power down so they could start negotiations.
