"I'm sure we'll be ok though." Glassman said, reassuringly. It was important to not shrink back even if the situation did turn dangerous...
"And I've got your back too,Fulgur! Four fists are stronger than a mere two." he spoke, nodding both to Fulgur and to himself at that statement.
'A strange area that shifts between night and day...I shouldn't be too surprised by this since there's ice, lava and even digital plants...but this is still a step higher than the usual.
With hose thoughts in mind,Glassman readied himself a bit more for whatever events were in-store for them here. Native navis? New viruses? He had no clue what to expect...but all of which made him tingle a little with excitement. The excitement contrived only from going on an adventure-!

Fulgur nods, smiling as Glassman reassures him. How nice this navi was...He looked forward to being his comrade..Nodding at the comment, Fulgur keeps walking, looking ahead. An adventure...The young navi really looking forward to it!!
After some time walking, Ful glances around. It'd gotten a little darker already... They must've arrived at mid day...Seeing vines infront of them, he reached out to push them out of the way, but blinks.
"W-What?" He pulls his hand away, the 'vine' clinging to his hand. As more appear to wrap tightly around his lower arm, multiple eyes glint out from the shadows. Then, the owner of said eyes, a huge spiderlike virus, walks out, chittering.
Ful blinks, then raises his buster as it forms, firing a few shots, only to gasp at the results. Not....a scratch....Thee young navi grunts as he feels a tug on his trapped arm, bracing himself as he's dragged closer. This wasn't good.
No-one would need to 'take note' of anything here to notice the vines...but Glassman's mind analyzed the situation anyway.
'Hmm...cut Fulgur loose from the vines or strike the virus directly...' he pondered to himself. Choosing only one of the options didn't seem wise to him...
"Let's go with both of them then!" Glassman exclaimed, dashed forward as he materialized a neon-blue sword, forged with electricity over his right hand.
With a swift sweep of his blade, Glassman attempted to slice through the vines that bound Fulgur, lashing out at them in an upward pattern and then slashing down on them.
Afterwards, Glassman returned his right-hand to normal and stretched one hand toward the large arachnid virus, commanding a bolt of red lightning to strike the ground mere inches in front of the creature.
"Go find something else to eat. We're no-one's meal!" he proclaimed, with a faint aura of red present on his body.

Fulgur forms his kopis, the curved blade crackling from the buster, and takes a experimental slash at the snaring, vinelike webbing. Nope, not enough... Crud.Tugging back as he's slowly dragged forward, the young navi glares at the virus, beginning to charge up a Wolf Roar as streamers of electricity form, drifting into the buster.
Ful blinks as he hears Glassman exclaim, smiling in relief when the older navi takes care of the bindings."Thanks!!!" There'd been some resistance to the cuts, but not enough to really matter.Chittering angry at Glass as he shoots a warning bolt, the spider gurgles, then spits out a slimy ball of acid like venom at him."Watch out!!!" Fulgur steps in front, seeming to take the shot...until it's revealed he blocked it with a energy shield.
"Nice defense there!" Glassman called out to Fulgur, forming a buster on one hand while the other crackled with red energy.
Gathering the energy into an orb, Glassman jumped to the side of Fulgur and hurled it at the giant spider. Before the orb could make contact, Glassman released a shot from his buster, resulting in a bright red explosion of laser energy.
"Hmm...any suggestions regarding this guy, Fulgur? It doesn't seem entirely vicious...or that could just be me." Glassman questioned his accomplice, returning both hands to their regular state.
Awaiting any suggestions from Fulgur, Glassman waited a bit...though he hoped the red cloud would linger long enough for them to make use of it.

Fulgur glances back, nodding with a slight smile and responds softly."No problem sir. I can at least be a shield." The young navi seemed different, more confident, for some reason. As the Spiddy is distracted by Glass's tactic, he considers.
"Well....I dislike the need to delete anything. Perhaps we can try going around it while it's distracted? It might decide to leave us alone." Ful looks at Glassman, wondering what he thought.

Fulgur nods, following the older navi as they ditched the confused spider. He dodged and swung agilely through the trees, and couldn't help but laugh a little. This brought back memories, all right!!! All those forest training sessions with Rum are coming into use, even with the slightly different environment...It felt like home!
The boy glances at Glassman, checking on him, and they soon leave the troublesome spider behind. Dropping from a branch Ful smiles shyly at him, reverted back to his hesitant personality now that the trouble is over."U-uhm...thanks...for s-saving me again.C-c-couldn't scratch h-him..."

Fulgur nods, smiling at the kind words."T-thanks..." The young navi glances around as they race off. It'd gotten even darker...Night was upon them, and the he could swear things seemed more...sinister.
At Glassman's question Ful blinks, then shakes his head."N-no...Uhm...it s-seemed r-real big, even f-from w-where I w-was..." In other words, they would have already come across it by now, and it was more then likely very far away.
"No problem." Glassman replied in turn, keeping his eyes ahead of him.
As Fulgur pointed out they probably passed the structure, Glassman screeched to a stop, looking around at the area they had raced into.
"I guess I should've let you lead then..." the gem-composed navi said, lightly tapping the top of his head with a fist. Now that he thought about it, if Fulgur saw the direction the structure was in, it wouldn't make sense for anyone else to lead the way...
"Okay then. So whaddya say we get back on track and find that structure you saw? Or..."
Glassman trailed off once he observed their surroundings a tad more thoroughly...as if he realized talking loudly in the middle of an unknown, dark area would be a very bad idea...

Ful blinks as Glass screeches to a stop.Hmm?As the elder navi says perhaps he should have let him lead, he shrugs. It might have happened either way...They were in a hurry to escape trouble after all.
Blinking as Glassman suddenly stops speaking, the young navi glances as well, warily deploying his buster. They...weren't in a safe place...He spots movement in the shadows, and his buster begins humming softly, sparks crackling.

Fulgur breathed in and out, eyes narrowing and glancing around. The area around them rustled with movement.A voice, dark and echoing, suddenly speaks."So.....I've got two insects in my realm...Don't you know not to walk amongst the trees at night?"
The young navi's eyes widen. No way...it was actually getting even darker..."Ah, a fire hazard...Hmph, as if that'd do any good. Here? Amongst the darkness and trees? I am more then you can even imagine."
