The world seemed to come to a standstill as the two combatants stood apart from one another, eyes locked in perfect unison. Silence seemed to wrap around the two in spite of the howling wind that scoured the mountain side. A feeling of vertigo filled Ion as the numbness finally took reign of his body and the only point that seemed to matter was the flicker of hardened determination that took seed in Fulgur’s eyes. Seeing for the barest of moments the incorruptible strength of soul that this navi would come to wield, Ion’s burnt face couldn’t help but tug upwards in the barest indication of an exhausted smile. Truly he would become a force to become reckoned with. He was young but he held within him the qualities to bear the mantle of leadership one day.
Watching the Wolf Buster rise with deliberation, Ion whispered softly, the wind carrying his words to Fulgur, ”Well done…”. The yip took Ion hard in the chest and he stumbled backwards, electricity crackling over his chest and playing amongst the growing ice crystal that had been forming on his back. Letting the vertigo take over, Ion descended into the snow, arms spread wide and eyes cast skyward into the dull grey of a winter storm. Letting the burns fade and the cold take his limbs, Ion watched the flurries fly above him, pondering on the paths that lay before the navi’s. Each not so different than the flakes buffeted by winter winds, cast to and fro at the whims of destiny and entities of absurd power. But deep down he knew that unlike the snowflakes carried upon whimsy, they could follow strange new paths, never before considered if only they could find the strength to forge them.
With a deep sigh, an exhalation that emptied his body of all air before breathing in the painfully cold air, Ion struggled up to his feet and began to trudge towards Fulgur’s fallen frame. Unlatching the cloak from his neck, Ion cast it over his combatant and let the heat of their battle seep back into Fulgur. He would find that the fringe of the cloak cut the cold out, emitting a soft warmth like that of a candle in a cool cellar. Though it had been punctured in places throughout the battle, it would be far warmer than the burnt fragments that still clung to Fulgur’s armour. Kneeling beside Fulgur, Ion summoned two full-energy sub-chips and set one down in the snow for Fulgur to have. Cracking one open with his own hands, the raw energy that coursed through the air invigorated Ion, already he could feel the ‘wolf’s’ share of his wounds sealing and beginning to heal. Despite being bare against the elements, Ion showed no indications of feeling the cold unlike minutes ago, instead he crouched patiently beside Fulgur and mused, ”That was excellent! You were awesome, ya really gotta show me how you get so much strength in that hook of yours!”. Rubbing his jaw in memory of the strike that he had taken there, the friendly glimmer of happiness seemed to radiate from him again now that the battle was over.
((OOC: Thanks Xypher for judging this battle! I really appreciate it ! Your feedback was in-depth and excellent, I hope to improve from it))

Fulgur shivers, enveloped by cold as his breath leaks upward like steam from a dragons mouth. Hearing a well done, he blinks, a smile tugging at his lips. At least he had managed to impress him...
The boy feels a warmth come over him, then curls up, breathing in. Oooh, that hurt...Not just the sudden shift from cold to warm, but his wounds as well.He looks up at Ion, then glances at the sub chip. He reaches out, and draws it in, cracking it open.
As the energy floods him, Fulgur sighs with relief as his wounds heal. He waits for his armor, and more importantly his cloak, to reform, but apparently it wasn't enough. Grumbling slightly, the young navi switches to his casual gear, drawing the borrowed cloak closer around his small frame and sitting up.
As Ion compliments him, back to his self,Ful looks down in embarrassment."N-no....I'm not that i-impressive....Uhm...one of t-the navis that l-looked over me, Rumbler....H-he showed me how to t-throw a hook..." He looks at Ion." T-thank you...and sorry a-about being so rough..."
Seeing the younger navi avert his eyes in embarrassment, Ion smiles gently to himself and listens as he speaks about another navi named Rumbler. Then with a quick glance upwards their eyes met and he apologized for being so rough. This brought a throaty laugh to Ion’s lips and he immediately responded, ”I’m the one who should be apologizing to you, especially with that last attack. But alas, we train hard so that we’re prepared for worse. I’m glad you didn’t pull any punches…so to speak.”
Slowly rising to his feet, the icy wind took hold of his hair, flailing it wildly about before settling back into its erratic style. Putting out a hand, he offered to help Fulgur Anima to his feet for the journey that they would share home. Continuing from before he speaks in friendly tones, ”This Rumbler must have been quite a fellow. It’s funny how some of the most useful skills we learn from others eh?”
Ion’s body was now all but immune to the paralytic cold that enshrouded them, ice crystals forming against his body then reforming, fluxing and sinking back into his body. For now it seemed that he was more aligned with the ice element than any other and the cold was a forgotten memory for him as his core temperature plummeted below the air temperature. He showed no indication of wanting his cloak back for the journey ahead.

Fulgur blinks as Ion apologizes as well, and shakes his head."N-no.....it's OK..I s-survived, and that's all that m-matters.." Wincing slightly at the feeling of the icy wind smacking him in the face, the young navi sees the offered hand, and reaches out a unarmored arm to take it, pulling himself up.
Ful nods."Y-yes....He's pretty i-impressive...Him and S-Sheridun looked after me when I W-woke Up...I s-suppose one could c-call them my....parents.....I k-kinda miss them, sometimes." His mouth quirks up from a memory, then he glances at Ion, concerned. It may not look like the older navi was suffering from the cold, but Ful was still a little worried."D-do you need your cloak?"
