So, My lovely Girlfriend and I have our anniversary on Thursday. She wants to go to dinner. Got Reservations.
Done
Flowers?
Done.
Gifts for her?
Done.
She demands that I come up with the rest of the plans for the night. She wishes me to assert my desires and expects me to offer ideas and things instead of me usually asking her.
and My mind has been blank for about 2 weeks straight. And I have 3 days to set this up. I BEG ALL OF THE BRILLANT MMM MINDS TO LEND ME AID!!!!!!!!!!
*Falls to knees, begging.*
Toss out ideas, that's all I am asking. I have 1 or 2, but they are too.... simple.
I may toss out a Zenny reward for anyone that can lend a hand...
We will not be home, my brother will be babysitting her kiddo.

Aww thats so adorable!
You should watch a movie together after/before dinner. At your house or even go out to a theatre. Theres some good ones out right now
Why don't you guys play some games together as well? Some board games, card games, party style video games, all could be some good choices.
Maybe even some dancing? Wether you go out to a romantic place or just set it up in your own house in the biggest room, you could dance together softly like a slow dance or an energetic dance and just go crazy.
(Ill add more tomorrow :3 I lied! :3 But there will be more tomorrow)

Hmmm...what kind of spots do you guts have in your location? A moonlit stroll through a park or along a river....a ride out to a location to see the stars...If she enjoys theatre/music, go to her favorite genre showing. If you have a lake, perhaps some sailing by candlelight. It all depends^^ Hope this helps.

We have beautiful Metro parks, a few hundred miles worth. Including the place where we shared our first kiss... we also roam all the time. WE have the beech by the lakes... We are making this a fancy dress up night, Mind you, too. But keep the ideas flowing!

Fancy dress up? Suit and tie thing?
Where do you live, exactly? If you don't feel exactly comfortable posting, then just message me where so I can place some spots. Also, think about what she likes. Favorite colors, flowers, and type of candy. There is a certain way to present the romanticism.
Is she fond of movies first of all? If she is, what does she like about it? Her favorite hobby. You have to give me an idea of the things that expresses "her" so you can piece together something that tells her "I know you" while at the same time innovate new experiences.
Also, how long have you been together?

Her favorite flowers are wild Daises, she loves Nature. Pink and Black are her favorite colors. Favorite scent is Lavender. She is very hippie in style and expression, with peace signs and yin yang symbols. She is very much like a Hummingbird. She loves cats. She's shy as she is strong sometimes. An English and grammar specialist. She likes reading and video games. We have an affinity for Butterfly symbolism alike.
Yes. Suit and Tie type of date. We've been together a year.
Any other questions? If you need more info, please be specific with questions.
That being said, Down to 2 days, to iron this out!

Congratulations and happy days for you two! I don't have many ideas but I'll share some of what Erin and I have done for special occasions and maybe it'll offer some ideas to you.
We found this Indian place, tucked away in a suburban area, really fancy and quiet, we dressed up all classy and went there for her birthday once. If there are quiet, fancy places around you I'd advise trying to seek them out. Going out but having the place to yourselves (if you're so lucky) is really romantic.
Getting a bottle of wine goes a long way. Listen to some new music the two of you have been meaning to get into, or paint, or both, while drinking wine is a fun thing to do and creating together is a wonderful experience.
If it's nice, long walks or bike rides are simple but elegant.
Hopefully I helped even a little. Have fun you two!

Gonna toss some out as they come to mind, but I have always found Improv Theater to be an excellent date idea. Good improv can be an absolutely fantastic time with everything from surprisingly moving scenes to hilarious mistakes.
Alternatively if there are any good plays in the area that you and her might be interested in, they typically are well suited to dressy evenings.
Depending where you are, I've always found stargazing with a nice cozy blanket and a drink of choice to be a beautiful time. It'll be about half-moon on the day too, so assuming you don't have a lot of light pollution, the moon won't drown out the stars either.

Two days? Ugh! The time limit is killing me.
But, going from your first post and what you are telling me: assert your desires means either she wants you to go to Tier 13 (Yes, made an Adventure Time reference) or she wants you to express how badly you want her in your life.
Let's go with the general: Of course we will go with a nice dinner that is somewhere nice BUT somewhere you both have not eaten at before. This shows you are spontaneous and adventurous. If you both are adventuring somewhere, and you take lead, she will look at you as if you have confidence that you can show her a good time because you are not afraid to try something new yourself. This will show you think under pressure and give a bold sense of character.
Just make sure that: 1) It serves a dish she would like to try (Hippy? = Organic foods? Not stereotyping, but my girlfriend has the same lifestyle and palette taste) 2.) It has reviews that are pleasant and won't spoil the night. 3.) It has a gimmick (A unique theme, romantic atmosphere that is original, or just plain quiet. The evening must make you both feel like you are in a world of your own)
If I am to say the former of the two expectations of what "desires" express: A hotel room with the furnishings of the details that describe her. A scented bath with lavender fragrance and soothing soaps. If you can? Make it a Jacuzzi. Make sure you use candles, and since she is a nature buff, a lot of floral arrangements around the hotel room. (Can be plastic or plants). Scared of fire? Don't be! Buy LED Candles. They are available in Wal-Mart. Buy a speaker set with an output, make a mix-list of her favorite genre. If you can find new songs that match the mood, make sure she hears them. This opens her up to your taste and mixes with her own tastes to make you connect during the intimacy. If you can find a lavender scented fragrant spray, get it and use it for the hotel room.
NOTE: If you can find small plastic pink colored shot glasses, place these over the candles. They will give a mix of pink in the dark hues of the room to signify her favorite color.
If we are talking about the latter: You have to play on a lot of the memories you had together while making a few new ones. After dinner, make sure you go somewhere that is beautiful. Since she is the reserved/fun-type you have to probably come up with something original that combines her loves. Maybe you can have a small grill standing by and cook her a lovely meal in the park together instead of going to somewhere fancy (I forget what they call those small charcoal carry around grills). That way, she would still be having a romantic evening under the stars and talking and laughing while YOU cook her dinner. If you could find a small table and two chairs that fold out while adorning it with a quilt and some flowers in a vase, it would make it all the more beautiful. A center piece and LED Candles can still be used for this mood as well.
These are base ideas and you can tweak them to represent her in so many ways. You just have to capture the things she loves about you and the things you notice about her in your night. Best thing about these ideas? They are in a workable budget and can be done if you visit Wally-World at the right time.
Also Note: Wine does work...if you know her flavor and palette. I recommend a Moscato, Red Moscato, or Sparkling Moscato since they're crispy, sweet, and universal. If she is an enthusiast for wine, I hope you paid attention to her preference, but it sounds like a good Sweet Red would be her taste considering the nature you described her.
