AirMan had made two vital mistakes with Troik in the room. The first being outright ignoring the gargantuan navi, and interrupting what he was trying to do. Second being to threaten a seemingly innocent navi. To Troik, he was to break his oath of pacifism, this was serious. Spawning his shield, he simply walked, the room was clearly echoing his steps, a loud, almost crashing manner with each step, slowly pummeling the poor ground as he moved forward, setting his shield now between the ever growing Nu and Airman, standing behind AirMan, as if to barricade him in...
"Troik does not know what is going on, or what fan navi is doing here, but Troik not like one bit. Troik ask that you step away from her. Troik will move when fan navi moves."

Oh, such information. Such realization. It doesn't take long to figure out exactly what's happening; Nu was reset, so this incarnation is not the Nu that met with AirMan. So much to drink in and gather... ah, but first things first; he turns his attention to Troik, a low, rumbling laugh rising above the rushing winds that continue to flood the room as he does so.
AirMan: Ho-HO! We have a hero! One who stands against the "bad guy" to save, and perhaps win the girl? How timeless a tale... ah, but you have already prophesied the words that you will speak when this is all over....
The winds increase even farther, now downright oppressive to stand against. AirMan's eyes, normally red with yellow sclera, turn to a solid, glowing red that shines through the fog of the rising storm.
AirMan: "Troik does not know what is going on"!
with those words, the power of AirMan's assault reaches a crescendo. The shield that Troik holds proves to be entirely ineffective, and little else could hope to hold fast against it all. AirMan's omni-present torrential storm hits him from every angle, cutting and smashing him with terrifying power that mounts with every second. Before long, the entire room is the center-point of a canned cyclone, with the endless wrath of nature brought to bear against the stone walls of the ancient castle.
And they are unable to whether the storm.
With a fantastic show of force, the entire room literally explodes from the concentrated air-pressure, sending debris in all directons and causing the castle to quake from the sudden outburst. In the end, all that remains are AirMan, the still wind-imprisoned Nu, and the pulverized remains of Troik.
<Troik, DELETED>
AirMan stands over the remains of the would-be defender, a glint of arrogance in his eyes as he kicks aside a bit of the Navi's data.
AirMan: The poor fool... I warned him not to stand in my way.
Then AirMan's eyes shift back to Nu. Fun was had, but back to business.
AirMan: Oh, and speaking of warnings given...
AirMan walks over and kneels by Nu, looking the goo girl in the eyes with a deadly serious glare as the torrential winds, now free from the prison of the castle, keep her pinned in an endless and furious down-draft.
AirMan: There are those who believe that death is not the end for mankind. Some believe that they simply return as new beings and start again, but that we must sometimes pay for the mistakes that were made in our past lives.
AirMan pauses for a moment, his eyes still locked in place.
AirMan: And now you're about to find out if their beliefs are true or not. Aren't you lucky.
In the same time that it would take to snap, the winds are halted and Nu is free. It's at this moment that AirMan stands to full height again, looking down over the rim of his fan exhaust at Nu with an intense stare.
AirMan: Whether you remember our deal or not is of no concern to me; you made it, and I intend to see that our terms are met, one way or the other. So here is how we are going to play this game; my "family" and I have plans for a sizable operation coming up soon. You are going to be joining us when I send you the word, and you are going to help us see that our goals are met. If you do this, I can assure you that you will be rewarded, as well as being given the general advantages that come with bring in my favor. If you don't, I will find you and all that you love in this world and the other, and then I will see to it that you watch it all fall to the ground around you before you even begin to meet judgment for the other sins of your past life.
AirMan waves his hand dismissively and turns his back to Nu. His point was made, and that's all that matters.
AirMan: I hope to see you again soon, Nu. For your sake.
AirMan then begins to walk off casually, working his way back to his other associates and the situation at hand.

Sensing their final member en route, Silence turns to the stairway and descends, around and around the device, off into the rocks, and then down the face. They would not be hard to find... the Inhibitor was an impossibly bright lantern of energy against the darkness of the pit. As they go deeper, the thing begins to audibly vibrate (vvvvvvvvv), and Silence tightens his grip.
At last, he reaches the bottom. The rock face falls away to reveal a single downward facing antenna: The terminal result of the entire monstrous device (when not destroyed and piled into the hole). At its tip, a maw to nowhere opens, and yet in the green light, it crackles with orange electricity and oozes with gray fog.
Silence awaits the others. This was where he was hoping intuition would pay.

Nu looked at AirMan. It was a pretty interesting look. It was that kind that said, “Really? That’s the best you can come up with?”
The blob child did not take the threat too seriously, and it was an appropriate juvenile response for her stature. This “all that you love and care about” shtick was not in her character. The threat was more empty than a cup in a desert No! Not even that! It was like telling a murderous T-Rex that you would kill off all his other dinosaur friends even though they were nothing but sustenance! The blob had not thought about anyone or anything that came to mind. She was genuinely upset that this total blow-hard fan had came, bound her to the ground, and then proceeded to run her dinner through a blender of air.
He ruined dinner and now threatened her! She felt like some fat sloppy mafia boss!
However, Nu had to admit, the NetNavi did make an interesting proposal. He requested that she help him and his little ‘gang’ and she would be rewarded. Nu was not very interested in money...but the programs? She adored them! The moment the blob thought about sucking in more data that could ripen her young form, she had smiled a wicked grin! She knew then that things could turn in her favor...as long as she played her role.
With a simple shrug of her shoulders, the blob girl had seemed to be passive about AirMan’s threat. She showed a nonchalant attitude that spoke the quietest volumes. It was the equivalent of a simple “M’kay” which would question whether it could be trust. For the walking turbine for a mouth, it was for him to decide while Nu of course knew what she could do. Picking her body up from the terrain, she only begun to sink back into Rammount Castle from foot to head.
She became a puddle and then a part of the castle flooring. She had continued to eat her fill of the data that the confines of the castle had to offer...and staying in ear shot of her new business partner while she done so.

*As they decided the object that Silence had started to make some noise besides being a bright green lantern for them. This device had been much larger than he first thought it was.*
"Well that's an interesting sight for a number of reasons."
*There was an empty maw here, sure, but orange electricity and gray fog... That was a red herring if he'd ever seen one. Was the device keeping it away for why it had the program inside of it? Why disable the machine by taking the program out then? Considering what it did before and that he didn't imagine Silence as one to be suicidal, so this had to be part of the plan. He was just a bit confused on what the unspoken plan was at the moment.*

Jax While following the others descent he admires the craftsmanship of the device. It was like akin to a creation someone he once knew would spawn. He could also feel Nu moving through the framework. Stalking them. He left her be for now.
At the base expansive nothingness spread before them he continues to admire the view. While he understood what each piece meant and how they fit together; He did not to what end it served.

Silence turns to his compatriots and begins to mime. There was a direct intent in bringing them here, and it was only made possible by, strangely, their specific abilities.
He points at Jax, then stomps the ground at the edge of the abyss: A small piece of the ground, what Silence can manage, juts out over the nothingness and very slightly breaks the fog. He puts two fingers to his opposite palm and mocks walking them along.
He points at Xion: This time Silence throws little balls of darkness at phantom enemies, then turns and watches over his own shoulder.
Next, his finger rises in AirMan's general direction. He cups two hands at his chest in imitation of the older navi's fan, then pushes them out at the fog: It creates a gap over the jutting rock he had made a moment ago, but it is rapidly re-consumed with a crackle of static.
For himself, he gestures to the Inhibitor. Air and energy coalesce around the vibrating implement, calming it, but also magnifying and brightening its luminescence until a lime-green aura limns the fog until it almost feels like they're standing at the precipice of an overhead cloud cover, rather than the edge of nothing.
He points to himself, then holds up 1 finger: First. Jax, two: Second. Xion, four. At AirMan's general direction, three. Marching order. Hope for the mission's completion, then, lay entirely in the hands of whomever created the device they were using as a lantern.

Jax As requested, the digital framework bends to the will of its new architect. Empty space blurs and in its place a rough earth takes shape. Just wide enough for two navis(or Jax alone) to fit width-wise, and firm enough to support them. Even guardrails for the less than balanced to grip.
As Jax approaches the bridge expands farther into the abyss. He shoots a glance to his companions before returning his gaze to the unknown. Ready to follow at Silences leisure.

*Xion had gotten a bit good with mimes. He frequented one for some years after all. Jax and AirMan had the big jobs, Silence the role of the leader and him the role of bringing up the rear. Which meant to watch their back and destroy anyone or thing that wasn't supposed to be there or in front of them. Basically anything that jumped out was a target until directed otherwise. Even still, a job suited for him indeed.*
*And with the job determined, the air around Xion changed as the balls of darkness formed in his hands. Rather than be relaxed, he was on guard and focused, alert as he took up his position in their formation. Even if Silence would probably end up hearing him go "Pew, Pew!" occasionally in his mind when he did fire at something, it wouldn't change he was serious... maybe.*

With a casual and confident gait in his steps, AirMan walks at a meager pace. In his mind is the previous interaction with Nu; taking care of business always was an invigorating pass-time, and the ability to stretch some battle muscles was always enjoyable... ah, speaking of..
After a few moments, AirMan reaches his associates and Silence. The scene tells him exactly what he's needed here for; the fog. Ah, now that brings back memories. He and Arashi used to fill homes with toxic fog and use the resulting situations that it brought about to help bring funding to the Gospel Mafia. Such wonderful memories.... but now is not the time. Walking as if without a care in the world, AirMan approaches the edge of the oblivion and stands, glancing back to Silence as he does so.
AirMan: Aah, I see. So our terraforming friend provides the walkway, the great governor picks off the nuisances, and I clear the air? Ho-HO! How convenient for you that we have such varied abilities!
AirMan turns away with a hearty laugh and begins to activate his fan, but inside his mind he's not laughing at all. Convenient indeed that the trial here just happened to be tailored to each of the three. He couldn't help but wonder; if Ruin had been here, would there just happen to be a task that would require brute strength...?
For now it doesn't matter, though Xion had best know what he's doing.
It takes only a second for AirMan to bring his systems online. A rush of air begins to flow from behind him and into the fog ahead, slowly at first, but soon it begins to grow. It goes from a stream, to a river, to the tide of the oceans itself. Before long, the fresh air pulled from above ground punctures the wall of fog like a battering ram, creating a literal wind-tunnel for the group to travel across, a fact that AirMan notes shortly after.
AirMan: This should do, gentlemen. Shall we continue on?
AirMan's booming voice resounds above the racket of his still running engine as he casually begins to walk forward carefully, keeping the tunnel open for his business partners as he does so.

[Location Change: From Netopian Lake] Dropping lightly from the portal that had been placed in the tunnel ceiling facing downward, Ion immediately caught sight of the goo below him. Snapping a hand out to snag the edge of the portal his descent immediately came to an end and he lithely swung his body to land on a patch of cleared floor, well away from the strange material. Having no idea whether it was caustic or not, he had little interest in being the first to test it out. Immediately scanning his surroundings for Grade his angry voice bounces off the mineshaft walls a short distance down. Quickly making his way over to the opening of a large cavern that appeared to have just experienced…a rockslide? A hurricane? Taking in the surroundings and Grade holding the fragments of a deleted navi by the neck in an instant, Ion’s muscles instantly began coiling in anticipation. Every sound sharpened in his ears and the dank, dusty light that still filtered into the cavern seemed to brighten even more. The final words Grade screamed were accompanied with Ion sinking into a deceptively comfortable defensive stance, the punch to Troik’s head and the careless way with which Grade discarded the body finalized it for Ion. He was curious by nature, but he wasn’t stupid. Even in the safest networks, a hot head with a bad attitude will get you killed. This place was certainly not safe… Seeing that the tantrum was over and he now stood listening intently in the epicenter of the chamber, Ion’s words were hard and measured when he broke the encroaching silence, ”Explain yourself. Now.”His eyes were no longer filled with the warmth of the sunlit lake, they held an icy glint. Not aggressive yet, but all the kindness had been sapped away and only an analytical machine was left behind. Ion knew that he couldn’t have been responsible for the deletion of the shield bearing navi in the time it took Ion to get through the portal, but he also did not know if it had been his doing beforehand. Perhaps he had already found the navi who wished to devour others…

(( I don't disagree with sensing power in a general manner, but do disagree with changing Phreeze's choice of verbiage (Navi (I assume plural, and it's a touristy spot), trace, smell) into something this specific. And what I mean by general isn't "THREE NAVIS, THESE COORDINATES," either, unless it's built into the navi through stats and decent RP reason (RP powers have to come from somewhere or they are, as we're seeing, unlimited). )) Silence holds the lantern higher, and nods at AirMan in agreement. He stops floating, puts both feet on the ground, and uncertainly slides one forward... the dice were rolling now. The other foot steps forward, and Silence moves past Jax to take the fore.
He pauses again, looks back at the other three. When they had first met, he had formulated an idea to seem as though he were able to speak, but was waiting until it was absolutely necessary. He thought about what they could benefit from knowing about this place, but realized, suddenly, that there was nothing to know. They only had to stand prepared.
Silence turns back to the wind tunnel and growing pathway. He begin walking.

Jax (Troik hasn't respawned either. He dead yo. Bits in the wind.) Jax gives their guide a stern but curious glare through his hood as the now grounded navi takes the lead. Then follows him into the unknown. After a fair distance the even more artificial earth wanes and crumbles. Slowly dissipating the bridge behind the group. [Jax -> ???]

*It looked like for a moment their guide had something to say. But then he thought better of it. Still, they had come possibly as prepared as they could be. Or at least in Xion's head they were as prepared as they could be. So he followed down as well, noting that Jax had the right idea on the bridge. Better to make certain they didn't have even more uncertain surprises waiting for them.*

The walking fan was interesting…but a jerk!
All in an instant, the group had vanished beyond Nu’s reach and it was infuriating! Here, she thought she was eating a vast castle for the sake of some good data, but she did not expect it to have secrets beyond her reach. It was absolutely incomprehensive! Downright agitating! It was something that…that…well…it made her hungry! Nu hungered for more data and knowledge at that moment, and she would have indulged if not for the sudden feel of more intruders dancing upon her backside!
The blob girl shifted her body through the architecture of the castle once more.
Her eyes becoming the creeping veins along the walls and the padding of feet and Vulcan fire was like the sting of some annoying mosquitoes. She had begun to weld her body up to see the sight that was the two NetNavis that was before her in the area. She looked to the right to see Ion and then to the left to see…that guy? Surely! She should have eaten him!
The blob girl folded her arms, tapped her right foot, and stared in the most distasteful manner towards Grade…or whatever this NetNavi was! There was something about it that made her…curious.
Was it some kind of special program or borderline insane wanting the pleasure of being eaten? She had a devious smile come across her lips while her gelatinous form widened as she shown interest in wanting to take a chance of biting this NetNavi once more. She savored it by staring, licking her lips, and awaiting for him to notice that he...again...was prey.
