So we've just released the Chip system, as well as changes to Resource and some changes to Recon. So now I wonder; what does everyone think of the type changes? Do you feel that Recon and Resource are now balanced types? Do you feel that one or two types outshine others? How do you think the new changes will effect the metagame?
I admit I'm a little sad Mirror doesn't get higher EXP gain anymore, but that aside I'm more than happy with the changes to Types.
On a different but related note, once we see what the Chip System is capable of and can go about building something like this more effectively, I'd really like to see a Custom/Folder Type for navi's to select upon creation that specializes exclusively in Chip Use.
yeah, we'll obviously have to wait and see, but I'm excited to just use the system as is nonetheless. I am working on a chip using navi so I can be active in testing, hopefully I'll have something up by the end of the week.
which brings me to a question, would we be able to have a zenny allowance for sake of building a chip using character to purchase chips with? I'd love to test it in depth but it's difficult when strapped for cash. I totally understand if this is a no-go, though.
Not so much an allowance, but we have got systems in the works that should make zenny a bit less of an issue, though how soon we'll be able to implement them remains to be seen. Either way, I'll try to get a bit more Zenny circulating around to make playing with the system a bit easier.
