Welcome! We have exciting updates (and a few over due fixes) put into effect immediately!
First off...
NATURAL AVOIDANCES
This has been an ongoing issue for a while: Natural Avoidance Cooldown Reduction was far too easy to obtain, and far too abusive. Because of this, Recon Type has seen a slight refocus (not necessarily a nerf), while the Deft Movement Programs have been flat out nerfed.
If either of these changes affect your Navi, make a post here saying so and attach a link to those navis stats after you make the appropriate changes.
Recon Type
☉ -1 CD to all Natural Avoids and Activated Elemental Special Properties
Deft Movement
{
Deft Movement
Passive Program
User has -1 CD to One Natural Avoid
3,000z }
⇪ Alpha
Effects increased to -2 Natural Avoid CD applied as desired
Upgrade Cost: 3,000z
Deft Movement
Passive Program
User has -1 CD to One Natural Avoid
3,000
⇪ Alpha
Effects increased to -2 Natural Avoid CD applied as desired
Upgrade Cost: 3,000
With these changes, you're now allowed to own multiple Natural Avoidance Skills instead of only being restricted to one.
BATTLE CHIPS ARRIVE
Yes! We finally did it! They're finally here!
You can now purchase Battle Chips from the Chip Shop and equip them to your Navis!
There was quite a bit of adjusting we needed to make in order to fit them nicely into the system, but we believe we've found a way to implement them quite neatly. We're only starting out with a small number of chips for now.
Also note that there are a few chips that can only be attained by accessing BMDs or defeating NPCs. Not everything is sold in the Shops!
Read below for all of the adjustments concerning this new exciting system.
Chips
Chips are one use per battle items that act like attacks or skills.
Standard Chips are the lowest tier and are purchased in the Chip Shop
☉ Your Folder can hold any number of Chips, but only 5 are usable per battle
☉ Standard Chips deal (100) + (V*10) Damage unless noted otherwise
☉ Standard Chips have 1 Aiming Effect set to them upon retrieval unless noted otherwise
☉ Dark Chips are considered Standard Chips, but they lock User's Hyper Modes/Attacks for the rest of battle upon use
☉ Dark Chips can be purchased in the Dark Chip Shop
Mega Chips are the mid tier. Some can be purchased in the Chip Shop
☉ Of the 5 Chips your navi is allowed to use per battle, only 3 can be Mega Chips
☉ Mega Chips deal (150) + (V*15) Damage unless noted otherwise
☉ Mega Chips have 2 Aiming Effects set to them upon retrieval unless noted otherwise
☉ You cannot use the same Mega Chip more than once in the same battle
☉ Stage Chips are considered Mega Chips
☉ Special Emulations are chips obtained from other player-characters. They are also considered Mega Chips. Their Damage caps at that formula shown above.
☉ After battle, you may give someone a Special Emulation of any of your regular attacks
Giga Chips are the top tier. They're only dropped by powerful NPCs.
☉ Of the 5 Chips your navi is allowed to use per battle, only 1 can be a Giga Chip
