Our story is told of gruesome torture and powerful lies... Deceit and despair fill our lungs as we spin this tale... ... Or does it?
This is the story of Valkyrie, but not alone... Other beings make way here... To hinder or help...
The setting is told from the reaches of the Net... A Third-Party lab, that is... Recaptured and retested
This is where the Valkyrie spreads her wings once more... But does she do it alone? What role do you play, Scientist? ONB Agent? Raider? It all depends on what YOU choose... Good luck, you may need it...
The Valkyrie project, the studies for a perfect and malleable fighter, the ultimate melee navi...
"Data flow is normal, all vitals are green." "All stats look good, report back to the boss, he'll be proud to see Valkyrie coming along gr-" "I've been held long enough... You took me once... Time to break free!"
Sirens all across the network went off, the Valkyrie had escaped... Without any true, stable programs to fight, she had no option but to run... and run she did! Making her way past obstacles and lock-cubes, she easily parkoured over, under, and around most, if not all of the surroundings...
"You took me away, tested me, broke me, funny thing... You torture a woman long enough, she becomes an all powerful b-"
"There she is! Stop her at all costs!"
Two rather gang-esque navi guarded her final exit... Of course, the three were not alone...
"Picking up another signature, doesn't match records... Could be a raider... Or ONB operative judging by the frequency..."
The sounds were like the most sharpest of blades scratching against the more durable of metal. It only had taken a simple flicker of the red sirens and the noise alert coming from the labs to make the sounds seem almost like a figment of the imagination. However, the claw marks that coveted the halls of the open doorway the two soldiers once stood in was like something out of a ravenous beast’s most pleasant dream. The flashing lights made the tail that swayed behind the corner seem like it was a fleeting memory as the only thing louder than the sirens and the atmosphere was the voice that followed.
“You should move faster, NetNavi.” the voice sounded throughout the halls, “If you want freedom, you just gonna have to trust my NetNavi. How about it? Wanna try to catch a tiger by the toe?”
It was a loose meaning on the words since a tiger could not even leave such large slashes in the wall, made such an easy rip of the two Navi’s chest that would leave them staggering in pain, and then make such an exit that only a phantom could partially pull off without being seen. The tail of whatever left its mark had made quick work as it scatted away at a quick speed down the halls leaving carnage in its wake. The only one instance it stopped as to stand at the end of the hall down the corner, look for Valkyrie lying in wait as it bust the sirens with its powerful metal knives, sunk into the darkness that it created with its rapid tantrum, and stayed in the shadows with only its eyes showing a sinister glow from where it awaited valkyrie.

"I like your style, but sure... I'll bite."
Valkyrie nodded, following quickly in the manner she did... Fast, light, and one heck of a force she made as she nearly flew down the hallways, linking external comms with her mysterious ally, she began to ask...
"So... What're you doing here? Am I just another doll that someone wants to fondle? If so, back off, I've had my share of friends, if you're looking for a fighter, or some danger..."
Her smile was prevalent, and her menacing eyes were even felt beyond her visor, then she stopped right in front of the shadow, shutting the Comms off...
The presence that crept in the darkness had seemed amused.
It was not shown or heard through words, but communicated through her eyes. Those curved yellow eyes that were in the darkness had slanted until they seemed almost vicious. A single paw emerged from the darkness, showing the light that hit long nails on a furry paw. It was adorned with jewelry that given off a beautiful and sleek shimmer, and a reflective shine of the yellow eyes. Soon, the complete form nearly leapt from the darkness in one swift movement revealing her sharp teeth, feral hair, and big eyes.
Her voice was nothing short of that like a young school girl’s.
“You say you’re a fighter? Fun! Fun! Fuuun!!!” she shouted revealing her enthusiastic expression. The hind of the feral NetNavi lifted in the air as she got on all fours of her long nails, “Meow! Then I’m glad I’m getting you out of here to be with us, meow! That means we can go play ‘fight’ all day with Ms. Kat and perhaps eat sweet mice while we heal, and take a hot ba-”
“You know what? Never mind that last one!” she said as she stood up on her hind legs, her long nail reaching under her vail covering her smiling face as she scratched at her chin without any irritation, “I really hate the bath parts! My fur gets all tangly and wetty, and it totally is icky! Meow! But Ms. Kat says I need to take my baths everyday to make sure I have some nice fur and not to mention she says it makes my nails very nice! I like nice nails, meow! Want to look at my Jewelry, too? Meow?!”
This NetNavi…was odd.
She did not seem to be an assassin, not at the very least considering how she rambled on, her tone of voice, not to mention forgetting all entirely where she was at the moment. Her nails had shown traces of shaven data from the NetNavis as she shown them off as well as whatever a piece of “Opal” was. Surely, she was the individual who caused the mayhem…right? It did not seem to add up, but the next moment, there was an echo down the hall that overshadowed the alert system.
With that, the cat-like NetNavi had quickly stood up on her hind legs, placed her right large paw upon her forehead, and with a straight face begun to repeat something as if it was rehearsed a hundred times over. “My name is Bastet.EXE! I am a NetNavi hired for the important job from a client to escort a very rare and sklilled NetNavi from his or her confinement and to the presence of the client! Meow! When engaged in front of the target,” Bastet smiling pointing to the NetNavi breaking character for a moment, “That would be you, I am to request that you follow me out, meow!”
Bastet rephrased her job perfectly, but her demeanor made it seem like it would be a job beyond her measure. However, this person, most likely a Net Operator, barking orders did not seem to be a cut of an idiot like the NetNavi who proceeded to turn around, looking around the halls as if she could see freedom from where she stood.
However, it was all for Valkyrie to make heads and tails out of, something that most could not do in their life time when it came to the silly NetNavi.
