((Open to everyone))
Prologue It was a long, blissful night in the Forest Network... We lay our scene here, where a certain navi treks across the lands, searching for one thing... A friend... Through many hardships and trials, he will advance, regardless of odds... Maybe even better than the Blue Bomber himself at times... But he didn't go alone. This story is told of not one, but multiple navis... Are you one of them?
Downpour was happily enjoying himself, glad to be out and about, he loved the night, how the stars shone over his armor, he loved the day, too, but the night better... He was prowling a nature trail, looking for friends, his tail wagging to and fro, making himself known to those around him... "Ba-dum-de-dum-ba-doom-de-derp! Hahaha! Ba-da-ba-ba-ba-ba-boom! Heheheh..."He hummed and sang to himself, even laughing like he did... He then stopped, and smelled around, readying himself... He wasn't alone... "Hello? Person?"

He was not alone indeed...
?: Ho-ho... "person"? How unfitting a title for any of our kind.
*Was this voice coming from the friend that he had been hoping to meet? Most likely not. With a beam of light and a torrent of wind that swirls out from a central spot, the figure of a Navi takes form in a flash. Medium blue metal armor covers the vast majority of this Navi's body, leaving only his arms, legs, and hands exposed. Dark steel details rise from his body like a set of blades and meet in the center of his chest, framing a fair-sized jet engine with a fan affixed to its center. Directly above this, where the head of a Navi would normally be, his torso forms a mound and a set of red and yellow eyes stare out. In spite of his less than traditional proportions, he stands at the same basic height as most Navis, if not a bit taller. After appearing, the Navi looks to Downpour, almost staring him down for a moment longer than what would have been comfortable as he seems to study the aqua Navi in detail*
AirMan: Do forgive my interrupting your little walk. But when I saw you, I thought that I would come over and have a little chat.
*AirMan then takes a slow step forward, eyes still locked onto Downpour as he does so*
AirMan: Tell me, little Navi. What brings you to the woods at so late an hour, hmm? Don't you know that it can be... hazardous to your health?

"Just walkin', nothin's gonna bother me!"
He trotted over, before trying to stand, towering around a head or so taller than the new navi, putting a hand on a nearby tree for support...
"Just trying to relax, I think, clear my head... I hurt a lot of people, most wanna hurt me, other people call me 'Brutal'... But my name's not Brutal! It's Downpour!"
He laughed, not getting that it was to describe, not name him... He gleefully went back down on his hands and legs, it seemed his physiology allowed this to seem natural, as it seemed odd when he stood... He then sat himself right next to the new navi... Still slightly taller, his face-guard retracted to reveal an almost human face, it was somewhat eerie how he acted compared to his looks...
"So, why're you out? Aren't you gonna get hurt, too?"

...and AirMan simply just blankly at Downpour. The message, though only thinly veiled, managed to go entirely over the dog-human-Navi's head. Not relishing this Navi's happy-go-lucky attitude, AirMan waves it off, now growing a bit irritated with the Navi before him
AirMan: No, I'm not. That's not even the point!
AirMan closes his eyes and calms himself. The moment was passed, and that was that. It was a shame, too. He had rather liked his entrance and little monologue. And to make matters worse, it was obvious that selling "protection" to this Navi was pointless.
...well, maybe it was, but since he had already come this far....
AirMan: You say that Navis have tried to hurt you? Ho-ho, then you've come to the wrong place, little one. You see, there have been Navis of less than reputable report making this area their own. And I can assure you that they are far worse than anything that you have fought. However, I may be able to help you through this forest safely, allowing you and your valuables to see another day. For a price, that is.

"Oh, prices, I'm maybe b-"
Before Downpour could finish, two navis, one large and muscular, the other thin and quick-looking, both colored white with blue trim, and both seemingly like frames...
"There he is! Apprehensive modes engaged! Leave the Box Fan! We need Subject D-14!"
"Oh! There are the bad guys! They're the guys I hurt! They want to do mean things with me, but I won't let them!"
The Two Navis rushed, the quick one leaping off of the trees, and the other slowly trudging forward, being met with two claw slashes to the face, they didn't seem overly powerful, rather, on-par with the Navi before them...
"Yeah-Yeah! Come on!"
If Airman were to intervene, maybe this could turn... positively in his favor...

Box fan. As if AirMan hadn't heard that one before. The situation took yet another turn for the annoying, and it wouldn't take much longer for AirMan to become fed-up with it all. However, this was business, the wind-Navi thought to himself.
Very well.
Taking a few steps to the side and leaning against a tree as Downpour fights off the newcomers, AirMan watches and laughs under his breath. It was a fairly even match, and AirMan knew very well that he could tip the scales. However....
AirMan: Ho-ho, I'll discuss business a bit more while you do your best to hold off these gentle-Navis. You see, on my previous offer, I am willing to demonstrate that I can indeed live up to my side of the bargain, and will gladly do so for a mere 100 zenny.
AirMan chuckles under his breath as he looks to the one moving about like a maniac through the trees
AirMan: Normally I'd charge much more, but rabble such as this... Ho-ho, I would feel amiss for taking any more than that.
(OOC: Any exchange of Zenny would just be a plot device, wouldn't reflect your zenny count)

Of course, Downpour didn't catch a word that Airman said, as he was defending himself...
"WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"
He yelled, as he kept slashing, the thinner navi landed in front of Airman and attempted to shove him...
"Listen turbine, we have a job here, we'd appreciate if you didn't offer anything to that mutt over there. Unless you wanna get deleted, ya fat oaf, stay outta this!"
Back to the larger Navi, he had slugged Downpour, hard, which sent the dog tumbling a bit...
"Oh! Now's my chance!"
The Thin navi turned around, not caring for the Navi he just insulted, and began to charge a buster shot...
"Gh! G-Get away! I-I don't wanna delete you, I just want to be left alone!"

And the irritation that this entire meeting caused just kept getting worse and worse. AirMan closes his eyes for a moment at the insolent comment of this Navi, taking the shove in stride as he does so. Staggering back for a step, he quickly re-gains composure and stands silently for a moment in the heat of the moment. Then, without warning, he breaks the silence that he'd had in the face of the two assassins; he begins to laugh.
AirMan: Ho-ho-ho-ho-ho.... I'll give you this; you're probably the first Navi to actually manage to lay a hand on me in ages. However, you made one cardinal mistake among your many stupid ones; you gave me a reason to give the mutt a freebie....
AirMan's eyes open, his fists clenching as he raises his arms from his elbows down. His stance widens and a low humming noise resounds from his body as the fan in his chest now comes to life, filling the woods around him with a strong breeze
AirMan: ....and I hate giving freebies!
In a flash, AirMan's full destructive potential becomes realized; the strong breeze becomes a hurricane-force torrent that rips through the clearing like a horizontal cyclone, tearing at everything along the way. Stones, sticks, and any other debris in the area is caught up in the storm and flies forward like a constant barrage of bullets. Avoidance of AirMan's torrent was already impossible, and already it was becoming steadily worse with each passing second.
However, oddly enough, Downpour is instantly swept away by the winds and tossed outside of the epicenter of AirMan's relentless assault. if this was a part of AirMan's intent or not was debatable, but it gave a very nice view of the storming chaos as AirMan's voice booms above the winds with an echoing force to match that of the hurricane that he now controls
AirMan: There's no way to escape it, there's no way for you to defeat me. How does it feel to be helpless in the face of your ultimate destruction? Knowing that there is no escape, and that your own foolishness is the cause?
AirMan laughs once again, this time with a far more sinister tone. He had always relished the ability to tear apart those who annoyed him. It felt like retribution for the bomb that Gospel had used to delete him and kill Arashi all of those years ago. As if he could finally say "I'm no longer at the bottom!"
With an unforgiving and cruel glare, AirMan raises his hands and thrusts them forward. Among the hurricane-force winds that he had already summoned, a pair of cyclones drop from the sky, touching down not far from the duo in the epicenter of the storm and slowly moving toward them as if masked executioners ready to perform their duty in service of a cruel master.

As the Larger navi Anchored himself to the ground, taking the full force of the sticks and other debris with lots of effort, as if each hit was hitting a crack, just steadily getting worse...
As for the lighter one, he was chucked into the breeze, his shot firing, only to fly into the air as he helplessly spun around and around, the only thing left was a severed arm... Which soon faded...
The Heavier navi kept himself anchored...
"RH! 'E SAID STAY OUTTA DIS BOXFAN! YA AIN'T GONNA STOP US!"
He tried his hardest, but his grip was slipping...
As for Downpour, he had already ran over and hid behind Airman, watching in awe as the destructive force was realized... He wasn't the only one with issues inside of himself, he had someone who'd understand now!

AirMan paid no mind as Downpour got behind him, keeping attention on the one remaining Navi with a sinister glint in his eyes. The winds continue to whip through the network with hurricane-force as the two tornadoes draw ever closer to the defiant Navi, now within seconds of closing the gap
AirMan: Ho-HO! Stop you? You misunderstand what I'm doing.... I don't want to just stop you, I want to kill you!
As the cyclones converge, AirMan thrusts his hands forward again. The fan in his engine spins even faster and generates a small tornado directly in front of him, which itself creates a vacuum at its core. The cyclone remains in-place for a split second before AirMan releases it, causing the air in the area to implode back into that spot in mass and then explode in a violent backlash. The explosive force then continues in a straight line, causing what appears to be a series of fiery explosions to slice through the center of the storm in a mad dash, finally reaching the attempted assassin at the exact moment that the tornadoes close in on him. The result is a massive blast of air imploding in around the unfortunate Navi like the depths of the sea, an overwhelmingly crushing force of controlled nature

The larger, anchored navi took the full force of all the attacks, all remaining of his body being two legs wedged into the ground, lost at the knees, and two massive, meaty hands gripping the panels tight...
"You... You saved me! Thank you buddy!"
Downpour swooped around, and grabbed AirMan, pulling him into a deathgrip-like hug...
"Nobody ever wants to save the dog! But you did! You're awesome!"
He laughed as he held on... Finally letting go, he fell back to all fours again...
"You're really nice to me, so I wanna stick with you for a bit! It'll be awesome! What'ya say?"

As Downpour latches on while AirMan still comes out with full fighting force, the torrential Navi's eyes quickly widen and then curl into an expression of anger. Turning his eyes back to this Navi, the wind-elemental was about to turn the full force of his powers on Downpour in response to this move. However, as he's released and the aqua Navi takes a seated position, AirMan shuts down his storm and looks on with a quickly intensifying expression of anger.
AirMan: Boy... NEVER... touch... again...
That shouldn't have happened. It couldn't have happened. And AirMan was nearly inarticulate with anger. While his powers are active, no Navi should even be able to touch him from any angle, much less grab him. Nearly shaking with rage, AirMan places his hand over his eyes and forces himself to calm down before looking back to Downpour, anger still very evident in his eyes.
AirMan: Stick around? No. You're nothing but an annoying little stray, and even less profitable. Just... move along and discover someone else to bother!
*Still visibly shaking with anger, AirMan turns around and begins to walk away, sarcastically waving off Downpour as he does so*

"No! Please don't go friend! It's lonely... Cold here... Don't..."
Downpour dove at Airman's ankle, grabbing his boot and pulling it closer to himself...
"No one wants to be my friend! Everyone hates me! It's horrible! I tried everything for people to like me! Even bribery! And NOTHING!"
Downpour's eyes began to well with tears, as he began to cry holding Airman's ankle prisoner to his vice-grip...
"If it means I have to force you to stay and be my friend, I'll do it! I don't want someone else to turn their back on me! It hurts! It all does! Everyone just wants to take what I have and leave! I have NOTHING!"
Downpour clutched the ankle tighter...
"...Please... Don't leave me here... I can't do this... I need a friend..."

What part of "never touch" did this Navi not understand? In spite of the anger, in spite of the yelling, he still latched onto AirMan like a frightened toddler; a fact that even farther irritated the wind Navi and drove his point even farther home. In spite of his less than impressive physical strength, AirMan kicks Downpour off of his leg and takes a few steps forward, turning quickly to face the K9 Navi with anger in his eyes and the fan in his chest spinning once again.
AirMan: Fine! You want me to "take care" of you? You want a "friend"? FINE! Let's see if you've got more to offer me than endless annoyance! Let's see if all of that bragging can hold up to a HURRICANE!
Now entirely angry, AirMan slowly activates the wind turbine in his chest, causing the winds to rise once again. This time, however, their epicenter is based directly at Downpour, and the intent isn't to blow him clear of the coming onslaught.

Downpour, after being kicked, lay there, as the boot made clear contact to his face, cracking his visor...
"F-Fine! If I gotta prove that I'm more than a mutt, than fine! I'll show you! I'll show ALL of you!"
Downpour rose back up, his visor's left side completely out now, revealing his human-like face, showing clear signs of bearing teeth...
Downpour did not seem to notice the Fan spinning up, as he lunged, attempting to pounce on Airman, his claws fully extended...
"I'M SORRY! AAAAGH!"
