The sudden movement of their platform caught Nidhiki off guard, causing him to temporarily stumble in the direction of the rotation. He could of sworn he heard a voice from above, but with all the noise around him, he couldn't be certain. He couldn't see anything either, and the rotating of the platform was not helping this at all. 'Flying blind in a dangerous situation... definitely less than ideal.'
But wait, one of the group DID have flying capabilities. Perhaps he could be of use!
With careful steps, Nidhiki made his way over to the other side of the platform. to the horned navi, Magnetman, and the ninja women. Even though he felt pretty secure, he wasn't taking the risk of getting tossed off the edge, nor taking anyone off with him.
Then he noticed Havoc flying about, suggesting to 'GB' that he fly with him for back up. Which was a reasonable tactical decision at the moment, and one that he greatly supported.
"He's right you know." He began as he reached the group. "Right now we're sitting ducks with no cover and no way of knowing where an attack will come from. If you and him scout ahead, we'll at least be able to have a chance at defending ourselves. Plus by providing him with backup, he'll be at less risk as well."
Hopefully GB saw reason. Nidhiki had noticed what 'GB' had done to the other navi. That was the last thing Nidhiki wanted at the moment, especially since it would mean he wouldn't be able to assist in a counterattack nor getting out of the way.

Glassman didn't expect an entourage of navis in such an enclosed network...nor did he expect the platform to suddenly ascend after one of his superiors tickered with a section of the Network either...
In contrast with others who probably wanted to chew his Commander out for making something happen,Glassman merely looked straight upwards - as if trying to get a view of whatever was ahead.
"Well,at least we're getting somewhere now..." Glassman spoke, still trying to be optimistic about the situation.
If they were being delivered into the maw of danger,at least a few of them could fly and potentially escape...but hopefully it wouldn't come down to that.

"GREAT JOB, YOU BIG OAF! I SAID LEAD ME TO IT SO I COULD DISABLE IT!"
Excalibur called to Magnetman, whom he'd followed behind... He then let out a sigh, and twitched, switching to a green color...
"Sorry... I've been installed with several personality switches, that was my more... aggressive side... But he was right, I should've handled it, it was obvious there was a security feature to entrap navis here... No biggie, we can handle it..."
He then turned to the two planning to scout ahead...
"Sounds excellent, you two scout, you seem to fit eachother well for a mission, as for you..."
Excalibur then addressed Nidhiiki...
"We can, actually, I have several trackers and overlays to help with info and sniping, shouldn't be hard to use some motion and X-Ray overlays to find targets..."
Excalibur then put his index and middle fingers to his temple, and began scanning the room, searching for targets, if anyone was hiding in the slightest, or even invisible, they'd be spotted of course, only in the direction he was facing, and he was slowly scanning around, if someone were behind him, they'd still be able to remain undetected...

*...and it happened. The event was nothing even close to a surprise to Gravity Beetle, and all he could do was roll his eyes at the resounding laughter and sudden torrent of opinions*
Gravity Beetle: Really? I all but told all of you that this was a trap
*While even-tempered in general, Gravity Beetle was now at the breaking point; everyone in the area had their own opinion on what needed to be done, and they were all pointing in different directions. The absolute discord that was rising, and along with it was a dark purple orb formed between his horns*
Gravity Beetle: ENOUGH!
*The orb suddenly bursts out into a disk-shaped gravitational anomaly that swiftly slams into the ground, engulfing every Navi in the area save the onyx-shelled Navi and plastering them to the floor. While no damage was done from the attack, it rendered everyone grounded and stuck where they stand*
Gravity Beetle: Now is NOT THE TIME TO RUN AROUND LIKE CHICKENS WITH OUR HEADS CUT OFF! WE WALKED RIGHT INTO A TRAP, NOW IT'S TIME TO DEAL WITH IT LIKE ADULTS AND WORK TOGETHER!
*Gravity Beetle looked down to the group for several moments before he continues, the orb in his horns dying down, and the pressure that he had been forcing everyone to the ground slowly dying off and freeing them, including the multi-personality Navi that he had held down earlier*
Gravity Beetle: We have a clear view of what's above us right up to the sky, so we know that we're likely not going to encounter anything until the top. And even if we did, having two of us go on ahead just lets them thin out the group and makes their job easier. We are going to act as a unit, COVER EACHOTHER'S BACKS, and play this game as REACTIVELY as possible! And so help me, if ANYONE tries to cut off and do it their own way, I WILL BISECT YOU SO FAST THAT YOU'LL BE DELETED BEFORE YOU HIT THE GROUND.
Oh, and also...
*Gravity Beetle motions to the bomb, where MagnetMan still works*
Gravity Beetle: Have you all forgotten that THAT'S THE REAL REASON THAT WE'RE HERE, AND A BIGGER THREAT WHAN WHATEVER IS AT THE TOP OF THIS SHAFT?!
*Grvaity Beetle's fists clench tightly as he yells out, very obviously angry at the confusion. He didn't care if the group listened to him or anyone else, he just knew that these Navis were sending off so many conflicting and individualistic views that they were doomed from the get-go*
Gravity Beetle: Alright, here's the deal; like I said before, we need to work as a unit! If we can deactivate the bomb, it will turn this situation to our favor. But more importantly, we have to watch each other's backs! We can take whatever we're about to face and make it through this, but it will be MUCH easier if we all work together!
*....he knew that backlash was sure to come, along with more scattered opinions, but he didn't care. This group was exceedingly simple to pick apart as it stood, and he had to at least have his say and try to glue them together*

As if things weren’t already looking bothersome, the Navi they called Gravity Beetle suddenly turned on everyone with a fearsome gravity bind. Nicky, who was simply trying her best to learn why all these Navis were all gathered on this unsecure network, was quickly forced on her knees and pinned onto the floating platform. It wasn’t painful, but the brief moment of powerlessness signaled to Nicky that the situation was dire. She was in a place she didn’t know, surrounded by strangers and up against an enemy she didn’t understand. Without Evan on the other side of the net watching over her, she might have turned tail and ran back home.
Evan paid close attention to what Gravity Beetle had to say. He brought up many good points, including one about the group’s formation and another about the network’s instability. It appeared that someone would have to disable the ticking time bomb in the center of the network while the rest of the group fought off whatever came to try and stop them. It was still very vague, but the urgency in the beetle’s voice commanded his cooperation. To Evan, this would just be another test of skill.
“Nicky, are you alright?” Evan asked shortly after GB removed his gravity field. Nicky was dusting herself off when she replied cheerfully “Never better!” The times in which Nicky would ever talk back to Evan were few and far in between, so he cracked a smile and gazed at Nicky on the screen. “I think that guy knows what he’s talking about. We should help him out however we can.” Nicky nodded in agreement. “From here, I can tell he’s the guy I’d want to stand behind.”
With GB’s plan in consideration, Evan instructed Nicky to remain behind the beefier Navis and ahead of the Navis that appeared to be specialists at range. “Make sure to keep those rangers safe from flanking attempts, and watch those tough guys’ backs. You’re not able to take very much damage, so focus on fighting as a supporter.” After taking a few more steps forward, Nicky fell into position.

Nymphra's knees held fast as the purple energy pinned her in position; as if gravity was a force that could be fought.
Its effects seem to dampen though. He meant them no harm, he was merely trying to get their attention. Nymphra could give him that; she let him have his speech.
"..."
Something about people trying to be in control of this scene. First the beetle, then the sniper, and then the beetle again. It was almost as if they were fighting for command or something.
"I can't say the bug's decision is not unwise."
All the negatives. What did she truly intend to imply?
"I'll watch your back."
The gravity restriction had worn off now, so Nymphra was able to approach MagnetMan as she said that, who was still busy tinkering with the device it seemed.
Whether or not a young woman like herself truly made MagnetMan feel any more secure -- especially considering the fact she wore no armor, and her only weapon was a mere knife that was half the size of Magnet's own palm -- was clearly none of her concern.
She was a duelist; incapable of being brought down by a single opponent, but essentially worthless as an ally in a group skirmish. At best, she could single out the strongest target and eliminate it from the equation, possibly even eliminating multiple targets at once, but she offered no useful support to her acquaintances with her lone ranger style of combat.
In fact, as far as anyone here knew, she was only mediocre at hand to hand combat, somewhat athletic, and carried an excusable weapon at her side. In their eyes, her skill set was probably less unique than a generic net navi (that at least came issued with a standard buster or sword).
Some say not to judge a book by its cover, but to the others, Nymphra was like a book full of blank pages.
No stronger than a human, at best.

Unlike the other navis though, Nidhiki didn't have the benefit of having his legs directly underneath him. As a result, he clanged to the ground, his legs splayed straight out from him in four directions, and his unconnected jaw dropped to the floor.
A silent rage built up onside Nidhiki. He didn't mind taking orders, he was used to that. However, the one thing he would not stand for was a leader that tried to assert control via foolish methods, such as what Gravity Beetle just did.
If anyone had their head cut off, it was arguably him. Multiple navis had agreed it was a sound idea, and Gravity Beetle argued against it since the whole thing was a trap, and then went on to immobilize everyone in the area. Despite not knowing what this area had trap and ambush-wise, he went ahead and put everyone in the most dangerous position possible, including his bomb disposal guy whom would have had no one watching his back.
As the effect ended, Nidhiki got up, his four legs scrambling for traction before pushing him up, his jaw snapping back up to his head. He looked at Gravity Beetle, gave a silent, disappointed shake of his head. He wanted to call him out, on how he just put everyone's lives in danger. But he had a feeling the navi wouldn't listen and would actually try to follow through on it's threat, and that would only put everyone at greater risk. If he did it again though... then things would have to happen.
If Gravity was going to boss people around and not do a great job of following his own orders, Nidhiki was going to have to step up. He moved behind Magnetman, facing away from the bomb, and brought his legs inward, causing him to cover a larger space in a smaller area. "Girl," he began, gesturing to Nymphra, "I don't know your name, but you don't look that armored. It's best if you got behind me and used my legs for makeshift cover. It's may not be the greatest, but it's better than just standing in the open."
Without waiting for a response, he gestured for Nicky to do the same. He could only provide real cover for two, and they were the two he felt he could trust the most out of those that couldn't fly. Plus Nymphra looked like she needed it the most out of the group.

A gravitational rift, and Havoc is shaken (but not stirred). And then Gravity Beetle starts shouting. Shouting? Really? He'd just made one suggestion, and a few people had agreed, and that needed to be shouted at? And the ORDERS he was barking...
Havoc shifted States mid-air, turning to his clawed form, and crashing into the ground landing near GB. He stepped forward, confronting this "leader."
"Now you listen to me," Havoc's temper obviously building. "I'm willing to cooperate as much as the next character, but hear me well, as 'in charge' as you may be, you do NOT get to literally attack me for making a suggestion! And then still expect me to FOLLOW YOUR COMMAND!"
Havoc was now face-to-face with GB, screaming from his unseen mouth, glowing eyes brighter than usual.
"YOU PIECE OF DATA, HOW DARE YOU THINK YOU ARE MORE IN CONTROL OF ME THAN I AM! YOU'RE A SIMPLE LINE OF CODE AND YOU THINK THAT..."
Havoc stopped, realizing the situation. He'd lost his cool, and that was something he was not okay with. He realized that during his yelling, he'd turned his right arm from a claw to a drill, and he had no intention of even fighting this Navi, he just wanted to express his feelings.
He took a step back, eyes dimming slightly.
"Gravity Beetle, I... I apologize. I meant no harm. I will cooperate, as I do not intend to stay here, though, I need a minute to focus myself."
He then turned his back to GB, and went to the edge of the platform, sitting, legs crossed, and his head down. He needed to meditate.

*As Havoc had his say, Gravity Beetle stared on with a stone gaze, still flying in place. He let him have his speech, and let him leave. However, once that was over, the onix-shelled Navi lands, walks through the crowd with surprising care given his previous outburst, using care to not push anyone out of the way or step on anyone, and stops behind Havoc. He then puts his hand on Havoc's shoulder for a moment. Without a word, he then tightens his grip, lifts the winged Navi with his herculean strength, turns him around, and looks him dead in the eye*
Gravity Beetle: You want to have an outburst? Then man up and have the guts to hear the other side, like I just did for you.
*Gravity Beetle then puts Havoc down, his eyes unwavering*
Gravity Beetle: If you want to wine that someone had the audacity to yell at mamma's special baby in the middle of all of this, then guess what Peter Pan; it's time to grow up. No one here cares about what makes you so special. I put myself in the line of everyone's opinions to try and help everyone here get re-focused, and I'm probably the least special Navi here. And that's just fine by me. I don't care about poor hurt feelings. I care that we all survive; including you. You don't have the luxery of a minute to pull yourself together, so quit acting like a spoiled little girl who didn't get a car for her birthday and GET IN THE GAME SO THAT THESE NAVIS AND THE PEOPLE IN THE REAL WORLD DON'T DIE TODAY!
*Gravity Beetle then takes a step back*
Gravity Beetle: Maybe my plan is wrong, maybe it's right. Honestly, I don't care if I lead this or anyone else; so long as the plan isn't "leave everything to me". None of us are MegaMan, and none of us should act like it. But when it comes right down to it, we could be stronger than Megaman if we work together. You can say I told you so after this is all over, though I hope that's not the case. Not because I need to be right, but because I want to see everyone get through this. All I care about is everyone in this room waking up and working together.
*Gravity Beetle then turns his back on Havoc, in a move apparently contrary to what he had said moments before*
Gravity Beetle: Give me your rebuttal after we survive this. Right now, the only opinion that I care about is the one that says we need to save those people.

Havoc held himself back from doing something he might regret. This Navi knew nothing of death, and here he was lecturing Havoc. Havoc steps forward, running his fingers through his hair. He's normally not too difficult to get along with, but sometimes these things need to happen.
"Agreed. We'll resolve this later."
Stepping towards MagnetMan now, Havoc gestured at the bomb.
"Priority number 1."

Excalibur was just recovering from the blast, his sensors were shot for a bit...
"Well, shoot!"
He seemed to kick in frustration...
"Now my scanners are shot, gotta wait now, because we're now BLIND sitting ducks, but it'll recover soon, no need to stress too much..."
He grumbled a bit, as his lights flickered red, but back to green, remaining calm...
"So, red guy, let's see what we got here..."
Excalibur took a knee near MagnetMan, studying it carefully...
"Maybe I can run a few scans, and see what we have..."
As he said so, Excalibur began to run scans, dozens of them going off, trying to analyze and decode what they were dealing with...

*MagnetMan glances over to Excallibur for a moment before taking a half-step over, giving him room to work too*
MagnetMan: I haven't been able to make a dent in it yet, so hopefully you can do something that I haven't been able to, assuming this really is the bomb. There's so much radiation here that it's hard to say for sure....

"HUEHUEHUEHUEHUE" As the spinning gear ascends to its final destination the laughing from above becomes louder. It permeates through the room, as if everywhere. Then, with the sound of grinding metal the platform comes to a halt. Then, the small, rounded device near the centre of the platform begins to glow. The virtualization of the bomb makes it apparent that it was not a bomb at all. What was it? A black-untextured sphere of ink with a massive black shield, about the size of KnightMan and elongated in such a way to come at a sharp point. It was something like a combination of a small wielder and giant lance. And it jumped into the data pillar, a stream of yellowish light engulfing it. Yellow streams of energy arced out, pure and plasma-like. Text appeared, somehow wrapping around the pillar in a distorted yet legible way. ChaOS.EXE RAM: 2.05 MK, CPU: 98% WARNING ABOVE CAPACITY TAKE ACTION Y/N? >Y IMMEDIATE ACTION TAKEN NAVI DELETION INITIATED ChaOS.EXE BATTLE MODE ACTIVATED"HUEHUEHUEHUE"The inky shielded orb leapt out of the pillar, taking a charge at MagnetMan as he did so, spear end pointed at his head. All the while laughing his maniacal laugh. The giant rounded shield only protected him from one side - leaving ChaOS' backside open to attack - but just barely, the orb with a shield in orbit moved very quickly, and wielded the buckler as if it were nothing more than a stick. Following his momentum past MagnetMan, ChaOS continued on his path, the nearest to him being Havoc. Better MOVE!

Havoc turned as all of this began to go down, only to see a gigantic blob of SOMETHING running at him, laughing like a fool.
Without thinking twice, Havoc shifted States right, wings appearing on his back, barrier still around him, he pushed off the ground spinning over this new attacker all the while shooting at his unprotected backside. When he landed back on the ground, he pushed off again, but this time took to the air, continuing a volley of attacks at this menace. If only someone could keep this guy still, Havoc could land a stronger blow on this things back. And then he remembered...
"Hey! GB! Any chance you can keep this guy in one place for a little while!? I need a minute to land a REAL attack!"

*MagnetMan's eyes widen as the thing appears. He moves just in time to avoid the tip of the spike aimed for his head, but the raw size of the monster still slams into him and knocks him out of the way*
*Hearing the winged Navi call out, Gravity Beetle turns to Havoc as he conveys his plan, but then his eyes shift to the newly revealed beast, his expression becoming slightly more stressed*
Gravity Beetle: Yeah, just assume that it can't understand you and telegraph your plans....
*However, there was no use crying over spilled milk, or time to respond to Havoc's thinly veiled boast. Instead, the shelled Navi closes his wings and slams down near the edge of the platform, planting his feet in a solid stance as he does so*
Gravity Beetle: My normal stuff probably won't do much to this thing. I'm going to need a bit of cover for this one!
*Holding his arms down with fore-arms raised and fists clenched, Gravity Beetle generates two gravitational disks; one above him, and one below. The spacial anomalies each pull in their respective directions and hold the insectoid Navi in place as he prepares his move. With a sudden spike in energy, every muscle in Gravity Beetle's body tightens and his entire form begins to flash in a set of unnatural lights. The energy that the spacial Navi generates then continues to increase, as his horns part and a solid black orb of dark matter takes form. The orb pulses and ungulates for a few moments after it appears, attempting to phase back into null-existence, but with a sudden upward thrust of his head, Gravity Beetle takes command and the blob of otherworldly energy stabilizes. Now under the onix-shelled Navi's authority, the orb slowly begins to pull in energy from across the field and engorge itself, growing larger by the second at a slow but steady rate*
