[bgcolor=570041] “We can infect the world.” _______________________________ *SWISH*
As the gelatinous green blob was cut into, she did not show any signs of pain or even some sort of emotional rage through blades cutting into her jelly-like flesh. Her fluid body had begun to drip and run over the kama lodged into the blob like she was seeping amber from a tree, and it would make sense considering how she conjured the wood from the terrain like she commanded earth itself. Her hands had risen as her disfigured lower body twisted itself. Around her head and upper body turned until it was facing Ion whom had landed behind her prior to her attack, and the kama that was within her pulled itself deeper as slowly the tip and sickle begun to dull as a visual show within the bug.
She was eroding it and eating it like she was some sort of living stomach!
The corner of the feminine face on the green blob had parted its lip to show teeth that were similar to its body color. Obviously, it was smirking, even as it took in the kama as it was showing how pleased it was when feasting, and a thought passing through its mind as it gazed upon Ion. Everything in its mind was the same word, method, and intention: food! As the kama sunk into her body, and finally turned into nothing more than a memory upon being dissolved, her own hands reached out before her as if they could just grasp Ion. However, the hands that bug stretched soon shaped into a curved green texture, and seemed incredibly sharp as the gel-like form became sleek and hardened enough to make the sound of metal cutting the air as if a sword had been drawn.
The bug brandished the sickle like hands.
With the form reeling back her shoulders, she had whipped them forth as the kama-like appendages stretched to incredible lengths, closing in on Ion. The blob’s arms wavered greatly giving a curving whip to snatch through the air and cleave at Ion’s body like she was handling the weapon on a chain. She attempted to slash at Ion like she was his own personal Grim Reaper, and done so while licking a sickly green tongue out over her maw; imagining the taste of his data.
Whether Finale desired to fight or not, death was just going to continue to come.
Even then as he demanded Ion to sheath his weapon, the green blob was not waiting and was on the attack as thoughts of ravaging and ripping at the NetNavi’s body with her own form was in her mind as well as her similar forms. The red and blue blobs that faced Finale, leaving the green blob to fend for herself, closed in on him like they were attempting to feast on an already broken legged gazelle in the middle of an open land of predation. The blobs had whipped out their hands, stretching them to incredible lengths, attempting to snatch Finale before he could escape as he walked.
They were relentless in their feasting, and whether the blockade of trees had become toppled or not, they surely shown to not give them a chance to escape without putting up a fight.

[bgcolor=black]<Not to be confused with the Unknown post stalking Trance and Riclice.>
*SHLICK!*
The green blobs whip-like appendages were severed in twain by a now crouched humanoid figure with pale, lifeless skin and short, slicked back, charcoal hair. It remained in the pounced position for what felt like an eternity. With one arm outstretched grasping onto the slimes cut limbs; the other stewing in a mess of glitched data before snapping back into a humanoid shape.
From its kneeling position the beings ensemble could be gleamed. It composed of a T-shirt and vest combo, cargo shorts, and large boots with metal struts running along the surface. All of it pitch black as the void.
Before anyone could react to the creatures presence it stood up and whipped the green slimes arms into its mouth. Disregarding the blade-like ends entirely as it ironically gobbled up the gobblers arms in one gulp and shot a sadistic smile back to the now armless assaulter. Revealing a pair of solid yellow dots for eyes.

[bgcolor=232323] ((Remnant's RP-Power is a collection of 5 Viruses (Two Tier 2's and Three Tier 1's). Since One Tier = One RP Level, that would give Remnant a collective RP-Power of 7.
When separated, Remnant's RP-Power is divided as evenly as possible among the Amount of Remnants in the area (to a Max of 5 Remnants, since there are currently only 5 incarnations of him in his Stats Page). This is relevant simply due to the fact that his strength shouldn't be seen merely as 'Virus-Level', but infact of that of a v7 Navi. Additionally, since Remnant's strength is divided among his separate selves, it should be noted that when there are multiple Remnant's active, they are all just as powerful as one another, unlike the common conception of clones. (What I'm basically saying is, if there's only one Remnant active, he's considered v7. If there are two, they are both considered about v3-v4 rather than one being a v7 and the other being v0).
And now that that's out of the way, close this spoiler tab and read the actual post already!))

An intangible shadow. An unpredictable ghost.
The mysterious presence looming near Riclice and Trance suddenly vanished as the trees blockading the path forward were brought down. It fled from their senses, but only for a time.
It had not left the area, but rather changed position. Its ambience encompassed Ion as he leapt, and Finale as he left.
It now emitted a sense of protection -- no longer the haunt of a creeping predator.
???: "This creature isn't negotiable..."
A shadow-like entity rose from Finale's shadow as he walked.
From the perspective of the one who had known Remnant, this shadow would have resembled Remnant.
???: "Nor is it examinable..."
Another shadow-like being rose from Ion's shadow as the other pale-skinned, humanoid entity intercepted the attack directed at Ion.
From the perspective of the one who had known Warrior, these shadows would have resembled Warrior.
???: "It's not for the sake of the castle we must fight it, but for the sake of security..."
The tangible-shadow near Finale drew a blade and slashed in a wide, over-head arc -- large enough to encompass both sides of Finale's body in the diameter of the swing.
The blade was not swung at the incoming limbs of the red and blue blobs, but rather it seemed to simply be swung at the air. No less than a second following the swing, the wake of the sword's motion was lit up in a beam of light.
A beam that perfectly traced the arc of the slash. A beam that, if touched, would sear anything it came into contact with.
It was a Remnant of a Slash. A Remnant Slash.
The Remnant Slash caged Finale and the shadow-figure (Remnant) just enough so that when the blue and red arms came to grab him, they collided with the white, lingering beams of energy and were cut off -- sent squirming like worms to the ground and rendering their assault ineffective.
But it was not the sword that cut the arms -- it was the beam. And no less than a second later, that beam slowly dissipated into the air and disappeared from sight, leaving the two unharmed.
Remnant: "If this monster is empowered by what it consumes, it will, before long, become all-powerful and all-consuming."
The Remnant near Ion raised its sword as if waiting for a queue of a joint-attack.
The Remnant near Finale grabbed his shoulder to halt his exit, then did the same.
"Its crime isn't that it consumes to survive, but that it cannot control its destructive method of survival."
Remnant spoke as if he had been watching from the shadows during this entire incident -- it was truly uncertain whether he had been or not.
But regardless of whether he had; Regardless of whether he hadn't...
"... This enemy must be struck down. And we're the ones here to do it."

"I was wondering when someone would say something that made sense." Blades of flame seemed to descend on the creature from the sun, but their true originator was falling with them. With a brilliant flame surounding her right leg, shd delivered a beautiful spiral kick to the top of the creature.
"En!"
She then descended gracefully, as her troops flanked the thing.
"Show this thing how we say hello in Creamland."
Then she walked over to where the other navis were as the green tempest grunts unloaded their weapons. There were two full platoons of them.
"This thing have any weaknesses?"

As Serix put on her pyrotechnics display, an axe fell from the sky, landing near the navis. As it landed, a navi materialized behind it, kneeling. As he fully materialized, he grabbed it's handle and stood, almost towering over the other navis due to his height, an impressive sight with his cape blowing behind him, his massive axe now being held over his shoulder. His eyes danced from navi to navi, attempting to grasp what each of them could do, what each of them seemed capable of. Erat didn't quite fully understand why he'd decided to join this fight, but he knew for sure he intended to win and survive.
While he couldn't tell much, he did note that the angel navi could use fire and seemed to be in command of the grunts that were now attacking the thing. This meant she had a position of command, and thus most likely, one of the stronger ones here. That would be something important to keep a mental note of. However, mixed feelings still ran through him. They seemed like a competent lot, some stronger than others from the looks of it, but based on the state of the creature, it seemed like they couldn't keep it down. Not good.
"A weakness?" He stated, glancing at Serix with an eyebrow raised when she asked. "I think it's clear from the fact these things are still around that a weakness hasn't been found." He raised his axe up and slammed it straight into the ground, causing large axes to fall from the sky at the red, blue, and green blobs. He didn't know if it would work, but even if it didn't, it was still useful information. "Standing around and talking about it isn't going to help the situation, unless you have something you wish to share."

"So this is the end. Even after an act of mercy you continue to attack." Death wasn't something Finale particularly feared. Considering you can always respawn, deletion was a minor inconvenience at most. Even still, Finale wasn't expecting such a simple mistake to be so costly. Heck, Finale was hoping the thing had some kind of internal logic to it, something that said: 'Oh? Free HP? Maybe I shouldn't kill this guy!'. But no, it was a beast following a greedy algorithm, rather then any proper AI. Finale closed his eyes and braced himself for death.
'SCHLICK!'
Finale had to open his eyes as the sound of the bug being cut. However, it didn't seem that it was the ones near him that were cut. Some other warrior had protected Ion from a blow. Makes sense. Protect those still able to fight, ignore those about to die. Strategically it was a perfectly valid move. Then this hero decided to touch the blob.
"Fool." Finale said to himself, knowing that the rather underdressed hero was now corrupted, and just as susceptible to being consumed like he himself was now. Even though there was inevitably some sense of pain running through the Blob's body, it still pursued him relentlessly, attempting to eat the easy prey.
And then Remnant showed up. Yet another lamb to the slaughter, although admittedly one of the more powerful lambs. Quite odd that two navis would show up in such quick succession, one after another. By this point the 'show' was probably on the news, and it'd only be a matter of time before more vigilantes showed up. Looks like he was saved as well, the Remnant Slash severing the arms of the predator. Finale laughed a little, coughing up a little data. "Geez Rem, do you just like to follow me or something?" His words were a little late, as Remnant had started his speech as to why the blob should die.
Finale was going to reply, but then some Fire-y looking chick showed up, with a squad of joes and hate in her eyes. Someone doesn't like things attacking Creamland.
And again, some random dood just falls out of the sky with an axe. Finae decided to take a headcount, trying to figure out why all these people would just show up out of no where. 1: Ion, 2: Himself, 3: Remnant, 4: Oh wait no, other Remnant. Real 4: Opera... oh Opera's gone now as well. Screw it.
Well, if Remnant wants to fight then he can fight. It'll be an easy wipe for the blob, simply more food. A lost cause, to be honest.
"Thanks Remnant. I owe you one... but I don't see a point in fighting still. The Creamland army seems to have shown up, they can handle it." And like that, Finale continued down the hall. He still didn't see the point in fighting. And if the thing won't cave to reason, then it's a lost cause. Violence couldn't be the answer to everything... could it? Finale bounced the idea in his mind, but even still, it doesn't make sense to kill things, but why hold back when the thing was trying to kill you?
Pain. The thing on his back was still eating away at him, and he was still losing blood out of his arm... err, uh, hole.
"I'm in no shape to fight anyway."

[bgcolor=570041] “We can infect the world.” _______________________________ The shadows that appeared from the ground as the saving grace for all the NetNavis in the area.
They put up a clever defense as the searing and energy based attacks had been enough to keep the blob-like figures away from their prey. The green-like blob’s arms were severed by the mysterious figure who resembled a beast the way it turned to it. The blob done nothing more, seeing the yellow eyes were staring right at her. They were not intimidating, but a message to her that simply snatching at it would not be enough. The urge to consume was there, but it needed more information...more methods of dealing with them.
Slowly, the green blob started to seep into the bricks of the castle and vanish from sight.
The red and blue blob was parried from their assault in the nick of time. Stunned by the attack attempt, but not stopped, they had to regenerate their hands that were burnt to vapor. Slowly, their wrists branched into many tendrils until they look like colors of newly formed flesh, and then finally opened and closed as newly formed hands. Once again, they were intending to stretch their limbs off and assault the shadowy remnant and the fading life he attempted to defend.
*BLOOSH!*
The two blob-like figures stopped in their track...
*SPLASH*
Their chest areas exploded outward before them revealing the center of their bodies. The center of them inhabited by a nuclei as it begun to be wrapped by a thin film of green color. Their faces, for once, had something other than a menacing smile. They were showing shock as they begun to twist as if their very faces were melting. Behind them, emerging slowly in size was a green bulge of slime rising from the brick walkway of the castle and exceeded incredible heights. The creature became larger and more massive by the second as the two blobs melted and begun to sink into its being.
*GARGLE~GARGLE~GARGLE!*
The front of the green blob-like texture formed a familiar face on its bobbing head as it grew. The grotesque sound resembled chuckling and echoed because of how high it begun to tower. Two limbs emerged from it side that stretched proportionate to its twelve foot build, its strong upper body that bulged with colorful blue, red, and green veins that riddled its should chest and upper thighs. Its lower body was deformed and seemed like a pool of slime, but the bricks underneath the castle became unstable as they peeled revealing static of blue and green on the flooring.
It was obvious what happened now: the green slime absorbed its others and became a whole entity again.
*THUMP-THUMP! THUMP-THUMP!*
The castle was now unstable as ever with the creature’s presence. The absorption process had sped up rapidly than ever as every rhythmic thump from the creature’s chest brought a sudden strain to Creamland Network and a violent bulge of the creature’s body as if it was still growing and taking in information at a very slow rate. The area’s terrain was a vile as a network filled with swamp terrain; decaying and slowing any presence within the area because of how the creature was feeding rapidly. Its heart was heated by a dark flame, literally, as at the center of its core, it had seemed to take in a Dark Chip within its core and rapidly recovering its strength. The dark soul was contained and controlled like a fire in a lantern for the creature to feed off of.
With Serix sudden entrance as it was forming its body, she was the first to learn that the creature’s size was not for show as the flames touched felt less like an inferno and became more of gentle feeling of warmth compared to a ray in winter air. The giant mutated blob had not even turned to look at the female as there was simply her regenerating skin rapidly recovering her as the Dark Chip’s fiery aura flared more intensely than Serix’s flames in comparison. The blob-like texture regenerated so rapidly, it even attempted to hold Serix’s limb in place as it tried to assimilate her unless someone acted even quicker than it was...
The wounded Viral King of the castle had gotten his chance to escape, and it did not bother the gelatinous abomination one bit as it simply stood still as it gathered its strength, encorged on falling axes, foolish melee attackers, and feeble unfocused rounds of Normal NetNavis.
She was in a buffet in of itself for goodness sakes!
With one powerful bellow from the lungs of the beast, the Dark Chip that was absorbed from a foolish NetNavi’s charity had come to a blaze as the beast recover from slashes, barrages, and strikes that seemed ineffective because of its rapid recovery. The castle decayed so quickly from her own feasting that a lot of the ceiling and balcony areas begun to collapse around it making large fixtures of rock and heavy structures fall on everyone, including itself, as it simply let the pieces seep into its body and melt away like acid further feeding it.
It seemed like the bug had grown to massive rates, and was neigh unstoppable to the unobserving eye.

"No reason to fight?!"
The fire navi gave fin an ice cold glare, as if peering into his very soul.
"Bull! Are you telling me that Creamland isn't worth defending?! That all those times that navis joined together for a common cause were meaningless?! You would dare to condemn my home?! And what happens after this thing is finished with Creamland?! It'll attack other nations! Are you telling me that you can live with all that blood on your hands?!"
Serix spat on the ground near fin's feet, obviously done with him.
"Pathetic."
Then she ordered a medic to his side, who began administering many anti-virii as well as malware eradication programs.
"As soon as you've recovered, get the hell out of here."

IC Post:
Finale waved the medic aside, preferring his own natural healing systems, which, although slow, he preferred much more over some random guy examining his data.
"Woman, I think you should calm down. Look around you, the entire network is already corrupt-" And then the thing grew it was huge, standing much taller then AxeMan, who was already the tallest guy in the area.
Instead, of being surprised and acting irrationally, Finale took the opportunity to remove his overcoat, and sidle up to Serix.
"There, the heat should stop the bleeding." Having closed his wound, Finale then examined himself. The chains that wrapped his body shoulder to shoulder were still there, albeit the one that had bound his arm was now hanging freely. The blob thing that ate at his body was still there, and with no idea how to get it off, that would be the main issue to his systems self restoring. If only there was something with the same delicious data as Finale himself- oh wait.
"Ion, can I please see my mask, if it's still with you that is."
Meanwhile, he hadn't even realized he was still rubbing up against Serix.

The beady yellow eyes tracked Finale as he resumed his saunter; the sadistic smile gradually turning into a let-down frown. Even as the gelatinous monsters re-converged into one the shadowy navi remained locked on the glitched and hindered navi. The monstrosity behind him was of no concern to it as the being quickly slammed one palm onto the ground and took a running position before vanishing in a tuft of smoke...
...and reappearing in front of Finale with that same gleeful smile as before. The frightfully fast creatures right hand seemingly malfunctioned and became a sickle of the same variety the green slime was utilizing a moment prior. Then it drove the weapon straight into the Medical navis skull. However, the data never dispersed into the air as per normal. Instead the navis data was siphoned into the sickle which caused the attackers eyes to glow brighter momentarily.
Within a second of "devouring" the medical navi the creature quickly picked up Finale with its left hand, which during the interim had become a 5 pronged tendril that grew and grew, carrying Finale several feet into the air. All the while ignoring the chaotic fallout that befell the area.

Erat watched as the blob was barely affected by the axes he dropped on it, and in the process seemingly absorbed them as well. This brought a look of concern to Erat's face. If the being absorbed the axes he had dropped, then most of his attacks and weaponry would most likely have the same effect.
Then he heard the sick sound of a blade piercing a navi's skull and knew something was wrong.
He whirled to find a being absorbing the remains of a medic navi that had been healing Finale before carrying him off. Roaring in anger of being caught off guard, the poor medic navi could have been any of them, even himself. He leapt away from the two went to hurl the axe overhand, but realized the the large axe whirling end over over end would put the poor navi being abducted at risk.
Knowing full well he wasn't quite as accurate with the method he was about to use, he shifted his grip on the axe. While he was before going to throw it over hand, having gripped it at the end, he was now holding the axe like a javelin. With a mighty grunt, he shifted his body, arm and axe, aiming for the center of the mystery beings body, and then with a roar of strength, hurled the axe like a javelin straight at it. From there, he could only hope Finale's weight prevented the mystery being from moving out of the path of his axe, or putting Finale at risk.

I've always perceived it as an attribute of speed. Meaning that if the being in question is really fast(example, this one) locking them down to one action that's a possibility(especially against a wounded, much slower entity than yourself...) severely cripples them as a character. You wouldn't ask the Flash to only punch once when he could very easily punch 20 times, throw you, and then be there to catch you all before a single blink.
I'm not saying "Haha I'm gonna throw you through a building and then rip your arm off on the other side, your post!". That's a too far. I'm saying harmless(compared to dismemberment...) actions like my previous should be fine given the advantageous speed of the performer compared to those in the area. Also if you wanna reply to this keep it in spoilers. Don't wanna disrupt the immersion.
*slow-motion SHHHHHLCK*
The blade sliced right through the creatures right-side abdomen. Too enthralled with its prey it was to dodge or even notice the weapons approach. What would fell any normal navi was met with continued ignorance, and a familiar(to a select some) *flub*. The noise was accompanied with a vivid thick blue liquid that seeped out of the wound just enough to cauterize it in water. Which then quickly reformed into the creatures normal attire as if nothing had noticeably happened.
Four of the tentacles enforced their grip around Finale even harder while raising him several feet higher into the air. The fifth pulled away to give a light taunting wiggle from its tip before darting straight at its chest. The tendril aiming to impale the hostage even through binds that bound him.

Makes sense. BTW, have I done something to you in the past? What. The. Heck. Last thing he knew he was on the ground preparing to get the thing off of him but now... He was in the air? Surrounded by tentacles and about to be impaled Finale had to think quick. Assuming whatever the hell was holding him lifted him at such speed that the blob was no longer on his body, he had a new problem. He was about to be stabbed. With what he could imagine were his final breaths for now, Finale took a moment to ask, "What the hell did I do to you?"And then... *STAB* [Finale.Vir] DELETED ...What? He should have been dead.. but? He looked at where the spike had pierced him. His... Scar? Finale just now remembered the powers that it granted him. Invulnerability was not one of them. But if the attacker was of a lower version then he... Either way, this situation was quite painful. Time to hit the undershirt and hope someone else can get him down. Serix was about to smack fin silly, when he was grabbed from next to her. She felt a harsh sting as the tentacles whiped her while grabbing him, and cried out in agony as steam rose from the wound. It was a bone chilling, blood curdling sound. Within twelve seconds, however, the sound ceased, as did her feeling of pain. Now, instead, her sights were focused on the blob creature that held finale.
"That was the worst mistake you could have made."
After stating this, Serix began a barrage of seemingly endless flame swords, all aimed at finale's location. The joes added to the assault, firing at the creature's head.
