"What in the?" The Viral King was confused, but at the same time amused. Living blobs of colour? What an interesting being... and an interesting tool. As the woman-thing formed beside him he acted oblivious, instead greeting the two in the courtyard he had found himself in.
"Hi. I'm Finale, the Viral King"

"Um...nice to meet you to-wait,this isn't the time for that!" Riclice exclaimed, summoning a sheathed sword at right-waist.
Reaching for the blade,he quickly whipped the blade from its sheath, sending a concentrated burst of energy at the beast that was about to grab Finale.
With his weapon still in his left hand,Riclice looked on,hoping for a good result...

Quickly glancing around at the sudden onslaught of activity, a veil of static rising to try envelop the castle and its colourful redecoration while the blue orb pulsed with an unrestrained growth of its own until finally forming into a womanly silhouette. As the blue woman reached, grasping for Finale's own blue stained hand Trance was still highly on guard and took Riclice's words to heart immediately. Perhaps now was not the time for Pride, he certainly didn't have the power to fight these coloured blobs if he was struck by one and considering the caustic nature of their existence he was unsure of the side-effects they'd have. They certainly wouldn't be any better than his run in with the strange infection he had suffered from earlier. Nodding to himself as Finale introduced himself he memorized the navi's face and flatly replied "Nice title. I love self-proclaimed royalty." Speaking in undertones to Riclice, "I think you're right, the network is unstable and if he does control all of this...things will not end well...
Something was nagging at his mind though...why did he possess only a single colour when inside the translucent static veil it was evolving into a veritable palette? Also why evolve it from a blob into a womanly shape while introducing himself? Was it a minion? A virus? Another navi? But the greatest kink in his assessment of the situation was the single color the navi possessed.
Trance pulled a small ocean blue key from his pocket and hiding the object within the palm of his hand showed it to Riclice. "Aqua net, on your mark."
"Vince, status?" spoken not sharply but with the minimalistic efficiency of a steadfast team Ion was immediately informed, "Infection has stopped spreading....except for one anomaly at the northeastern quadrant of the castle, about a hundred meters out from your field. The colors are evolving within the veil, shapes and mixtures of color are beginning to form and complete loss of the castle is guaranteed if we continue to contain the infection."
Wincing at the last line, Ion's tactical mind was racing ahead to possible outcomes and safety measures. "Test #1, Instinct, Preference and Effect. Let me know what happens Vince!"
Ion began to generate even greater quantities of junk data throughout the halls of Pride Castle in the hopes of preserving the structure in exchange for endless streams of junk data already available for consumption. Focused on doubling, tripling, quadrupling his junk data generation while observing the effects it would have on the strange entities inside he needed to know two things...could he protect Pride Castle by 'feeding' it more food than it could consume? Was it going to evolve and grow stronger the more food it consumed?

As Trance acknowledged Finale's introduction,Riclice listened, keeping his mind ready in-case any more surprises were in-store.
Watching as Trance revealed a small blue key,Riclice nodded at his suggestion to head for the Aqua Net. A wise suggestion indeed...
"Going now would be a good idea." Riclice said to Trance, doing his best to whisper, eyes currently on the blob-like creature he had just attempted to keep from grabbing Finale.

"Control all of this? Hardly. I'm unsure of what it is for sure, but I do know that I would like to."
Jumping to the right as Riclice slashed at whatever was beside him and kicking at the wall to change direction, Finale landed behind the two.
"Now, let's get whatever's attacking my castle under control."

[bgcolor=570041] “We can infect the world.” _______________________________ Junk data had become more slimy, more thick and blubbery. The halls of the castle became twisted and the room became more cramp.
As the junk data was consumed, the gobbling glop of slimy texture had begun to divide, split, and break into three separate forms after a short while. Eventually, there were three of them standing, and as massive as a seven foot humanoid forms…or at least their upper bodies. Slowly, they had expanded until each of their colored features had become more feminine in appearance. Their torsos were barely formed as they were nothing below the waste but a splash of gunk on the floor that spread about in a circle around the area they preoccupied, making them seem like incomplete beings.
Still, arms raised, faces twisted with a sickening expression, and bodies bouncing up and down in an unstable manner, the gelatin like monstrosities still looked threatening as the very spots they took before the three NetNavis were erodding away at the edges of their incomplete bodies.
*Gurggle-Gurggle-Gurggle!*
All three of them making such a grotesque sound, seeming to be taking delight in their feeding frenzy.
Even as they sat motionless, their very presence had seemed to have a dramatic effect on the castle. The bits and pices of their bodies that dragged around the bricked castle floor had begun peel away slowly. Small nodes of light ran between the bricks as it almost seemed like veins were in the castle flooring in varying colors of blue, red, and green and where the forms had stood waiting they had stopped at.
They were rooted to the castle like a fungi to dying life.
As they sat amongst themselves, seeming to be just satisfied absorbing the terrain, and not caring for the NetNavis (not yet at least), what would the trio do…and why did the three incomplete forms seem to have bunny ears and look feminine?

Eyes tracking Finale's movements with the appraising eyes of a combatant, the swift movement to get behind them certainly did not lend anymore credit to Trance's trust of this self-proclaimed King. Turning to face him directly he shrugged his shoulders and moved into a more comfortable standing position, non-threatening and seeming to accept Finale's words at face value.
"Alright, well if you're trying to save the castle I suppose at least temporarily our goals are the same as me and my buddy here." Reaching over to pat Riclice on the shoulder he simultaneously crushed the glistening blue key in his palm. The effects were instant and thoroughly disappointing if the hope was for a dramatic exit. It was so normal and carefree it seemed almost accidental that their two bodies warped out of the network. "Ion, individuals are forming within castle, three produced after increased data production." Vince patched a quick snapshot he had managed to capture through the veil of technology crippling static that Ion was producing as a side effect of his massive data generation. Eyes taking in the forms, a small pit began to form in Ion's stomach. Those shapes...they were exceedingly familiar with one of the Net Crisis' he had extensively researched during the Juuka battles. Continuing in a terse voice, having already drawn the same conclusion about the misshapen blobs as Ion, "Instinct is purely consumption currently, it shows no preference over stabilized data versus generated junk data."Mind racing he was going to have to move onto the next test, apprehension tickling his gut. Currently the colours seemed to eating, breaking down, then reforming the data, it didn't seem to be taking on the properties of the castle or elemental attributes of the surroundings in the slightest. Also, to his knowledge the Gospel Crisis preceded the Alpha Crisis but the origins of Alpha stretched far before the bug beast Gospel's conception. Obviously this derivation had its own unique anomalies but based on the data he spoke with confidence directly to Vince via a secure line so he wouldn't be overheard, "Test #2. Infection"The next few moments required his utmost concentration as he began to weave small glitches into the junk data. If it was going to continue its gluttonous consumption without regard for its meal he was going to give it a very, very upset tummy. Starting with small glitches that would incrementally slow its processing speed and corrupt small portions of its data transfer systems, Ion was ensuring that nothing large enough to be noticed immediately was being integrated into the junk data. Though for his own benefit he was generating baseball sized clusters of glitches filled with potent side-effects as hovering orbs around him for later use. There was a limit to how much he could infect from outside the safety of the veil. Knowing his reach was already beginning to be overextended as he forced glitches along his own data veins within the castle, he would soon be forced to enter the fray directly. Hopefully by that time though, his own blight would be well rooted within the all consuming colored beast.

Finale stood idly by as the two teleported away. "Cowards." Finale chuckled. He supposed that taking over the castle was going to be a solo run at this point. Looking at the harem of gelatinous glitches he frowned a little bit. It would be difficult killing such pretty things. They probably wouldn't stop if he asked nicely anyway. Grasping the mask that he treasured as he did his life, he removed it... And crushed there and then. A sudden release in Viral energy surged from his body as he entered Full Viral mode, a certain blood-lust filling his mind. "Let's see when you've got nothing left to consume, hmm?"And with a rush he began racing down the halls, painting the walls with his hand and cutting whatever blobby mass got in his way. He noticed quite a bit of junk data, but paid it no mind considering how glitched the network was already. After circling the halls around the atrium where the feminine blobs stood, taking out their main source of food in the process, he returned to the room and made an aggressive gesture. "Come at me sis."

[bgcolor=570041] “We can infect the world.” _______________________________ Their feasting was interrupted by the strange NetNavi.
Although not related, not at all to be exact, they responded to the taunt. Their minds not slightly processing the method of a bait and lure, nor even the thought of it potentially being trapped. They only knew their main supply of feasting had been cut off, and their intake of data was limited. Before they even knew it themselves, they were taking in twisted data, but did not care because of the single-minded zombie-like frenzy they maintained. The bugs had looked to one another, snickering before looking back to the viral tainted NetNavi.
They did not move, as it was not necessary. After all, why move when they could massacre the NetNavi and absorb the data that was already within the area? The castle was like the plate, and they were going to eat everything including the dish.
One by one, the colored bugs plunged their hands into the castle bricks beneath their feet. With a quaking and shaking, the castle magnitude of the rumble from the castle increased overtime. Eventually, the area behind the NetNavi had begun to emerge from a network of thrusting wood that broke from beneath the bricks and nearly closed off the back of the hall from where the NetNavi had come and were breaching as they closer to him. From the front, towers of water and flame burst from before the three gelatinous bugs as the streaming elements slowly went down the hall leaving little room to get past them.
They blobs were not worried about the NetNavi escaping. From their method of attack, clearly, he would come towards them or at least be skewered trying to escape. They did not seem concerned about the data they took in, as if glitch inducing NetNavi was not having any effect.

Updating Ion on the situation as the new events unfolded rapidly Vince's voice was as fluid as his computer work as he linked a short live feed to Ion. Eyes quickly scanning the events Ion's blue eyes flickered with interest at the kamikaze navi who had bulled headlong into the depths of the colourful corrosion. Highly effective if he could hold up in battle against the... 'Hmmm? I recognize that navi...' Mind flickering back to a navi dying in his arms so long ago, his inability to save the individual and the mask that had been left in his possession, Ion couldn't help but smile gently in spite of the circumstances. The stage was set, all it required was an ally now. Completely severing the strings of code that he had been using to randomly generate data throughout the castle, the protective veil of static also collapsed to the ground. The random patches of white and black flurries dissipating like fog in a strong breeze, Ion had by this time managed to generate three orbs of bug element energy ripe with glitches and fractious anomalies. With the speed of a seasoned fighter Ion dashed into the castle and took a sharp right, avoiding the forest of deadly points and instead aiming for a second floor balcony overlooking the atrium. Veins of color seemed to have corrupted even these hallways and without a pause in his dashing Ion summoned two small hand-scythes. With both kama severing surface links where they could and easily slicing through the gelatinous blobs littering the area Ion quickly made his way to a balcony overlooking the battle. Vince had already updated their assessment on his way to an entity much more similar to their own experiences with Nero than the Alpha virus. Knowing he would be too late to do anything about the fire and aqua towers, Ion quickly shifted the kama's element to fire. Both sickles igniting with vicious tongues of hungry flame, the heat roared with its own insatiable hunger. Leaping from the balcony, body adjusting mid-air to center on the vibrant green blob, Ion was aiming to deal a devastating double sickle strike. Knowing the added force of his fall would be substantial, he was hoping for a much more radical effect when the green blob came in contact with his flame imbued kama. Landing heavily in front of the green blob, Ion immediately leaped back, leaving both kama lodged in the strange womanly entity while he made distance and moved so that the blobs were centered between the Viral King and himself. Body materializing at the front of the castle, Trance touched down softly this time on the unstained cobblestone. The entire front of the castle seemed to be corrupted with veins of coloured vines and none of them blossoming beautifully...
As he awaited the completion of Riclice's warp, Trance held out a hand as though holding the hilt of a jian. Upon Riclice's arrival, the short, straight blade would be fully formed. Both sides sharpened to a keen edge, the black and silver bangles he wore around each wrist would be reflected in the colouring of the blade. The sharpened edges a brilliant silver while the length and hilt were composed of pitch black metal. A sliver of moonlight in the deepest midnight.
The jian was a gentleman's blade. Today it would do the service of upholding the honor of Creamland. Moving into the main hall, Trance was immediately stopped by the expanse of vicious wooden posts blocking their path. Rearing back and slicing with animal desire, the blade sunk inches into the first post before jamming. Obviously he wouldn't be cutting their way to the core. Calling out to Riclice, his mind was already alight with his intimate knowledge of the castle layout and where this blockade could originate, "Do you have any way to get us over this blockade?" Motioning with his chin towards the space left between the lethal points and the vaulting ceilings he continues, "This hall leads to any number of places, but I'm betting the juicy part of this whole thing is at the origin of these bad boys..."
Removing the jian from its lodging in the wood tower, Trance knew time was of the essence as the colors had already had more time than they should have been given to corrode the beautiful castle.

Riclice's data materialized in the area shortly after Trance had arrived, looking up at the building. Things were not looking good at this rate.
He glanced around to survey the rest of the area for a moment and proceeded to the nearest entrance. Moving swiftly,Riclice arrived in the main hall just in time to hear Trance call out to him.
The wooden pillars cutting off their advance appeared to be rather thick, with very little space at the top for anyone to squeeze through...
"Hm,getting over this may not work..." the swordsman replies, walking closer to the wooden pillars. He takes note of the attempt to slash through, once within close proximity.
"And swords are out of the question too..."
'Guess I'll see how tough this wood really is then...'
"Stand to the side a bit,Trance. I'm not trying to get you hit by this."
Riclice backed up a few paces and then reached to his right, where a stone buzzsaw materialized, the outside made like that of any other serrated cutting tool, but the inner circle was oddly smooth, perfect for handling.
Taking the weapon in-hand,Riclice focused on a segment of the wooden towers and threw the buzzsaw with all his might.
The sound of the buzzsaw cut through wood was quite loud, but the noise stopped as it only managed to cut halfway into the wood.
"Hmph...I won't let this thing stop us that easily-!"
Forming a sword in his hands,Riclice crouched down and then shot forward, slashing the same spot once more. He then jumped back and slashed the air, sending a blue wave of sword slicing through the air,on a direct path for the wooden towers.
Riclice dematerialized his blade, thinking for a moment that he heard a sharp CRACK,but he wasn't entirely sure.

Opera appears, basically out of nowhere, because Navis can do that. She had disappeared once things stopped happening, and now reappears because things started happening again.
Opera: So, giant monster that needs deleting. Is this really all the firepower we have? By my calculations, we don't stand a chance. Anybody got any big friends they can call on?
Opera seemed to be thinking about her own answer her question. If you believe that she is actually capable of breaking the fourth wall, then she considered summoning Lusca, but then remembered that she technically doesn't know about that. Otherwise, she's insane and there's really no way to predict what she might have been thinking.

As Ion appears Finale is stunned. Confused, in shock and awe. A navi so similar to appearance to himself before... before whatever the hell he went through. He simply sat and stared as the towers approached from all directions. Time passed. His mind wandered to all sorts of places. The word "Me?" formed on his lips. What the hell was this... this thing? Pain set in. Suddenly Finale was back in reality, quickly evaluating his options and picking the only one that made sense: Approaching the strange navi, slowly. Finale realized the source of his pain: the coloured blob had eaten it's way up to his shoulder. Finale sensed something... odd about the white haired navi in front of him. He was... Viral? Such a strong concentration of Viral energy... "What the hell are you..." He backed up again, realizing that somehow, this navi had an object that replicated his code perfectly. His mask! There was only one in existence, as far as Finale knew. He suddenly decided to back up. Whatever or whoever the white-haired punk was he was strong. Then the other navi flipped, and Finale recognized the face. Ion? WHAT? Ion was supposed to be dead...? Wasn't he? What was going on... Finale's shoulder began to hurt a little more. The mask on his face reformed as normal. He realized that the blobs were still staring at him menacingly, an unsatisfied look of hunger on their blob-faces. And then some woman appeared. She screamed for help or something. If Finale were in a better state of mind he might smirk and tell her all of the help she needed was right here, ready to protect his loyal subjects. But Finale's mind wasn't right. It was in sick places, remembering horrible things from the past. The past... that was what defined him, wasn't it? His past. He could never hold on to the present, all he could do was reminisce and remember. His past. What past? He came into the world without memories, those 5 years ago, and yet he seems to think that he actually has a past? What a joke. Finale shook his head. He just seen what was supposed to be his dead brother of all things... more memories. Memories, what were they? Remnants of data left behind. No different then his mask. But they made up a person, and navis were no different. Were they? It was what Finale believed. Navi, Virus and Man were all the same. They were all life, even if they did have their clashes... life. Life? Life! "Ion. Stop this nonsense. Let her feast."And yet Man prosecuted the Navi who hunted the Virus who ate the data that killed the human. Many humans. Alpha was an uncontrollable mess whose destruction can still be seen even to this day. And to think Finale was of his kin, the same ilk that devours everything in sight. And yet that wasn't their purpose. Their purpose... What is purpose? What is meaning?... Finale closed his eye, trying to make sense of everything that had just happened in the past few seconds. The bug blob that was crawling up the arm of his now empty sleeve spread to his back, rather painfully. Finale knew he had a Darkchip that would heal him, but what would it even matter? He would just respawn. Most virii don't have that kind of luxury. He threw the DarkRecovery at the blob woman. Expecting her to absorb it and regenerate. The castle was lost anyway. The architecture had only a few hours before it would collapse anyway, taking into account the damage already done, and it wasn't like network recoveries weren't an option. "Ion, I've been wanting to talk to you for a very long time. The castle is already lost, and there's no point in fighting anyway. All it brings is pointless bloodshed. It isn't safe here, and most everybody's already gone. It's just you and I now. Sheath your weapons." And Finale turned on his heels, already walking towards the trees that blocked his exit. With a slash of his blade and a flick of the wrist, a beam of wind cut through most of the shrubbery. And the trees. The thing on his back, it just wouldn't stop, would it? Finale slumped over, leaning against the wall. Another step. Don't stop, just keep moving. Another step. This was tiring. He leaned against the wall again, catching his breath. "I just had to touch the shiny thing. Heh." Finale laughed, coughing up a small amount of data.

Opera saw Finale throw what appeared to be the most expensive and powerful Dark Chip currently on the market towards something that showed no signs of needing it. She considered snatching it out of midair, because hey, free Dark Chip. However, she deduced that going anywhere near those blobs was a bad idea. In fact, she saw very little chance of anybody appearing who could actually solve whatever was going on, so she teleported to wherever she goes when she's not involved with the plot, which probably isn't a single place, come to think of it.

*A dark being hid in the shadows of the corridors near Riclice and Trance; a presence they could not detect, but one they were aware of. A being they could sense, but could not see. Even in the shadows cast by their own bodies it was able to hide.
It was both threatening and trustworthy; both haunting and comforting.
It did not interfere with their action nor hinder them, but merely watched as if it was waiting for the opportunity to proceed alongside them... or to strike at them when they had their backs turned.*
