From between the group of six, a hand taps one on the shoulder, to which the group moves away quickly. An old friend perhaps? Regardless, it became immediately apparent as Ruin stepped past the group of Heel Navis, Airman's personal troupe. His arms folded as he looked in awe around the room and walked closer to Airman. After finally bringing his head down, Ruin locked eyes with the giant fan, a gleeful smile came across his face. Finally a familiar face, and maybe even some info.
"Airman! Oh it's been a while now hasn't it? I really love what you've done with the place, good decor, nice and menacing, nothing like the Chaotic's old, tacky base. Really like the traps by the way, nice touch. Oh! Especially the one with the giant Spikey virus, that one was great...! Speaking of which... yooou might want to get another one of those, my bad."
It was unlikely any of the present company had ever seen Ruin so cheery, or anyone ever really. As he strolled forward into the group, he noticed Legion there. Interesting enough, but not really worth noting. Then another one he'd never seen before, maybe a new recruit? Hard to tell.
"So how ya been? Underground business been treating you well I hope?"

...and, in a moment, the words of Legion and the body-language of Nu becomes lost.
AirMan: ...HO-HO! My old associate, Ruin!
AirMan, obviously in an even better mood than he had been before, reaches out and gives a solid hand-shake in spite of his inability to even hope to match the master darkloid's strength. Still, he risked the broken hand out of contentment in seeing Ruin again.
AirMan: How have you been, my friend? Business has been well, but far less entertaining in your absence. Where have you been all this time?
AirMan then pauses and motions to Nu and Legion, re-including them in the conversation.
AirMan: Ho-ho... ff you have no farther business for me, then I'll not hold you any longer. You are welcome to stay if you have more business, but I'm afraid that my friend here takes priority for now.

And AirMan once again stops all that he's doing as if he'd hit a wall. His eyes slide over to Legion and Nu, locking on and almost looking through.
AirMan: Ho-HO!
AirMan takes a step away from Ruin and looms directly in front of the two Navis, his eyes slowly moving between the two before finally resting on the gel-girl.
AirMan: It's a simple oversight, really. No Navi truly thinks much of my hearing, in spite of the fact that I never fail to hear even the quietest shriek from the center of a hurricane. Nu, my dear; you did not inform me that you have been in telepathic contact with this fellow.
AirMan's eyes grow darker as he looks on to the two, a motion of his hands bringing his men back in from behind.
AirMan: This makes me wonder; just how much have the two of you been trying to play me through this little meeting, hmm?

This sudden rush of data was painful...
It was a good thing that Legion stood between her and AirMan, it gave time for her to process the many thoughts that intruded into her head. Each little memory to the ameoba was like a giant boulder falling directly into her noggin and knocking into one another. One headache to one actually felt like a thousand all at once. She gritted her teeth, eyes whiter and more hazed than mist, as Nu had seizured until her body lost stability and turned into a puddle of pink.
Rebooting...booting...booting...
Compiling of data started...
Her memories were organizing, her purpose became focused, and her primal instinct intact. She was to become God! She was to become Go-
"I know you have good in you, Nu-chan!"
Good. Good? No, not Good! Was it? It was supposed to be God! Perhaps both? A good God? What was even the meaning of that? It was illogical, but yet, that memory she was very fond of. Not just that one but many like it. A Netbattle? Those were for NetNavis! She was not one, but yet, she was treated like...one? She was scolded, depended on, trusted. She was all powerful! But yet with her...it was something...more...?
Booting...booting...
Compiling of data...incomplete! Illogical data found. Errors...bugs...more bugs...
Her mermories were chaotic, her purpose was secondary, and her primal instinct...tamed. She was to become God! She was to become a God like any other.
"Rosetta-chan..."
She broke her silence, but it was in whispers audible to herself. The blob girl could not log out in a haste, this place was dangerous. Her memories were flooding back so quickly, she had to try to reconfigure what it was she felt. Was it an error caused by the bugs? Faux memories? The chaotic rush of data masked her primal urge to feast as if it was a sickening, nauseating allergy. She stomached it, stood up, and flexed her body backwards in a flip as she turned into a liquid splat across the Citadel floor and made haste to escape.
"I have to move!" she thought to herself, "Cut my losses and make it back!" Nu had gained back memories, but also combined that with some insight. She knew AirMan would see this as treason! There was no way to explain the fact that they were communicating in private and not mentioning it. No businessman would risk a secret channel!
Legion, in her eyes, was a pawn. Now, he was a pawn she just felt sorry for seeing as she regained some morals enough to sympathize with the pain he was going to feel when the windy NetNavi would rip him asunder. She splashed in a traveling arching path and zigzagged as she slithered like a snake in her shifting form. She communicated not a word to Legion...her dead weight...as she tried to flee.

Nu's attempted escape was sudden, but not at all unexpected. Fortunately, AirMan had already given the signal. Before Nu can make it to the exit, two Navis jump in front of her; the common-style heel Navi and the leader-style heel Navi both stand with busters drawn and ready to fire.
Rapid: Sorry, kid. The boss isn't quite done with you yet
Lynk: But don't let us stop you. Seriously; don't let us, force us. I really wanna' kill you.
AirMan lets out a low laugh behind Nu, the sound of his footsteps betraying the fact that he's actively walking up behind the goo-girl. Legion's exit was allowed, as the darkloid was at least smart enough to not attempt to oppose AirMan directly by this point. Nu, on the other hand...
AirMan: Good work, boys.
AirMan walks around and steps between his men, looking down to Nu as he firmly plants his feet onto the stone ground.
AirMan: One could call you many things, Nu. But polite is not one of them. Running from your host in his own home is very rude.
AirMan pauses for a moment, his eyes growing narrow as he thinks.
AirMan: But, given these new... or perhaps old... memories, perhaps I can forgive the trespass.
Nu and Legion weren't the only Navis who had recovered memories; AirMan had as well, but took the entire situation in stride.
AirMan: You felt it too, didn't you? Your little friend made it obvious, and it seems to me that he was not alone in regaining these memories. And this knowledge... is quite telling, to say the least.
AirMan's eyes rise above Nu as he thinks for a moment, giving himself time to put the situation into perspective.
AirMan: I'm not a stupid Navi, Nu. I knew from the moment that I met you that you must have some form of communication capability beyond your simple body language. However, learning of its existence in this way made me realize that you were likely using it to play me.
AirMan's eyes drop to Nu again, narrowing as he stares through her.
AirMan: And you were, too. Otherwise you would not have attempted to run when it was discovered. However, that no longer matters.
AirMan takes a step back, motioning for Rapid and Lynk to follow suit.
AirMan: I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt; you didn't recall our deal, did you? I am nothing if not a fair businessman, my dear. You owe me no debt beyond your word, and I am willing to free you from that word if you so desire. However....
AirMan then turns to the side and kicks up a storm, outright deleting a number of traps and causing the junk-data remains to kick up an fall to Nu's feet.
AirMan: ....do not forget why you agreed to become a part of my family in the first place
AirMan breaks the line with his men and walks past Nu, back toward Ruin.
AirMan: Weigh your options, my dear. I'll be waiting.

Airman certainly could be scary if he wanted to, though with his network it was wholly unsurprising. One of the reasons that Ruin was glad to be on his good side, and one of the reasons that Chaotic enjoyed doing business with him. He was very resourceful. Unlike the others though, Ruin didn't quite feel the same rush of memories, some other tug came over him though, difficult to explain. Not that it mattered much really.
Yet Ruin played as if nothing happened, sure he waited as the scene with Legion and Nu to play out, but it really meant nothing to him. Just a cautionary tale to why you don't cross Airman.
"Well I think I was dead for a while. But with a little 'help' from that one who just left I was able to come back in full force. So much has changed though. Last thing I remember we were fight Xezzukhz, then I couldn't feel anything. Before I knew it I was hanging out with that Legion fellow and bursting out of his chest. His darksoul still feels kinda strange, gotta say. Really miss my old one.
Aside from that though things have been pretty uneventful on my end. Gotta say its hard to keep myself busy with our old goal blown away so quickly. Whatever happened with that Loathe guy anyway?"[/color]

Trigger happy thugs? Brilliant!
Nu reassembled her form and stood right before the lackey NetNavis that were barring her way. Compared to each other's stature, that was about the only advantage they had in her mind. However, Nu doubted AirMan had these NetNavis just for fun or to feel important. If they were his "investments", then she should feel in danger....which she did.
As AirMan appaorachd, she had taken a defensive position. She did not want to defy him; not at the very least: that was the logic of a sentinent being that sought complete control at all costs. For Nu, this was a simple method of abandoning ship. That ludacris of an idiot had made things difficult for her and not to mention that her friend was porbably looking with her.
It was in her best interest to get out of this in as less pieces as possible.
The blob simply shrugged her shoulders hearing AirMan. Manners were not her thing, and he knew that more than she ever did. Her primal instinct had been overcome and now she was looking at AirMan as something she seen before, a guy with a dog collar that was overdue for giving her meal. Seeing that now, she folded her arms and furrowing her eyes. Her lips pursed as if to say, "Really?"
That was to be spoken of...
Howeveer, as he reinsisted his arms, Nu only further her own aggrivated expression. It was not that he had any control, but rather it was that he had not been living up to his part and acts as if he has made payment. The blob girl, even after hearing that, followed AirMan by slipping into her liquid goo form, slithering upon the ground and then materialized her short stature by him. Her chronic rudeness still very much in play as she stepped to his side to address him.
"Then should we call that a double standard," she stated with her arms folded and eyes looking up to AirMan, "You appeared as a brute with expectations for me to follow a contract I recalled nothing of. Now that I do, the conditions had not changed. As a primal program that henges on the survival of devouring the strong and weakalike, you just became a piece in the link when you threatened m-....well..." her eyes drifted shamefully, "Whatever I was."
Nu had memory of her primal instinct, twice over now! Before she met Rosetta, she was simply a blob that morphed and attempted to devour any information any way she could. Then, when the network had gone through that strange shift, she reborned through a fail-safe left behind to keep growing and resuming the mot basic function: eating, manipulating, and using. Now, something came back to her mememory, and even now, her voice made the blob girl's head hurt as she rubbed it while wincing before AirMan.
"I am well aware of my options, and for you to hear my voice, you know how seriously upset I am. she stomped. Just like the voice of a grump high perky voice of a ten-year old, she seemed to express it with some mannerisms, "I am overdue for a feast AirMan? When will I reap the benefits of your partnership?" Nu did not seem angry, but rather grumpy. It was hard to seem angry or serious with such a petite body pouty face.

Before addressing Nu, AirMan turns his full attention to Ruin. This was one Navi best not ignored for two reasons; the first being the fine terms and friendship that they'd forged since meeting, and the second being the fact that Ruin's name wasn't simply a flashy word that someone attached to a Navi. This Master Darkloid's power had always been very real, and very respectable to put it mildly. However, one thing does cause him to give a slightly harsh look to Ruin; the mention of the name Loath. That connection was need-to-know, and Nu's presence made for less than ideal conditions for this line of questioning due to her fresh initiation.
AirMan: Ah, no news is good news then, hmm? At least your tale isn't one of grim tidings. Well, save possibly for those who may be at odds with you.
AirMan laughs, putting a hand onto Ruin's shoulder for a moment with a friendly pat. It was good to have him back, but other matters need to be addressed.
AirMan: Now, allow me another moment to have a word with our gelatinous friend here, hmm? She needs to be brought up to speed on a few things before we move forward.
This is when AirMan turns back to Nu with a wave of his hand, displaying a far more obvious good-will than he had before.
AirMan: Now, my dear, on to what you just said. And, in relation to that, it is nice to hear your charming voice at last.
The gentlemanly flattery fills a gap in the conversation as the wind Navi pauses, gathering his thoughts before he continues.
AirMan: I have a reputation, Nu. Part of it is true, and part of it is simply fabricated misinformation that very well could be true at a moment's notice. The main crux of the reputation that I have built is based on my family and the power that we have.
AirMan then motions back to Ruin, obviously using him as a visual example.
AirMan: I take care of my family, and my family takes care of me. However, if a member of our family simply walks away without a word and forgets to join in the give-and-take that we've agreed to, then the rest of the family needs to... "educate".... our wayward cousin. Do you understand, my dear?
The question was more rhetorical than anything, as demonstrated by the fact that AirMan continues after a brief pause.
AirMan: However, I am not an unfair Navi. If there is a legitimate reason for this falling away, then it is simple to forgive and move on. This was the case with you, my dear. And since we've truly conducted no real business together as of now, I felt it fair to offer you a way out as a way of extending good will.
AirMan then motions back to his men, each of them responding in their own way; some wave at Nu and AirMan, others nod, still others just stand in silence.
AirMan: I have been fortunate enough to amass family members from all sides and walks of life, my dear. Some wish to better the world, others wish to rule it, and still others wish to destroy it. Goals along these lines make no difference to us, just so long as there is the understanding of give-and-take among ourselves. We offer you our protection and aid in your personal goals, and in return we expect that you come to our aid in times of need.
AirMan then looks back, including Ruin in the conversation once again.
AirMan: And speaking of, I believe that we may have a goal here that will be mutually beneficial. You see, one of my family members has requested that we relieve one of his business rivals of some wealth and information. This job is quite lucrative as we've been given insider information and the rights to any and all spoils that we may lay our hands on, and it is actually quite perfect for all entailed.
AirMan glances over to Ruin first, raising his right hand as he does so.
AirMan: On the one hand, we have the opportunity to relieve our target of a substantial amount of wealth and Navi customization options.
AirMan then glances back to Nu, raising his left hand to help finish illustrating his point.
AirMan: And on the other, we're going to be raiding a database that contains quite a bit of data, all of which needs to be destroyed... or consumed, if you prefer.
AirMan's hands drop, almost exuding an aura of excitement at the prospects of this job.
AirMan: If the two of you are willing, we can begin perpetration at once. We are going to nee quite a bit of muscle and intel on our target, but it shouldn't take too long.
And that's when a thought comes to AirMan, a thought that causes him to turn to Ruin with a quizzical look.
AirMan: And speaking of; have you heard anything from Xion or Jax recently? We have ample forces as-is, but they should at least be given the opportunity to join us. And besides, I do prefer overkill when the option is available.

"Oh man, this thing sounds great! Count me in... Oh yeah, unfortunately no, though I suppose I haven't actually contacted them yet. I'm sure they'd be up for it."
Ruin brought up a small screen haphazardly, tapping a few keys before sending off the short mail. Neither Xion nor Jax really needed much info on it likely, depending on their status just having something to do would probably be enough. Especially for Xion, curbing boredom was the greatest of treasures, likely this would be at least something to do.
"So who is this guy we're after?"

Nu lifted his right hand, ran his thumb and middle finger along her lips as if zipping them and tossed her hand over her shoulder.
The female blob girl had seemed to go silent after hearing AirMan's explanation. If this was the way he seen family, then she had no problem with it. Her mind went back to the illogical reasoning of it all, like that girl, as it sounded like that little girl that brought her so much agony with her talk of family. The young form of the blob girl shifted as she placed her hands on her hips. Her right hand came up and she presented a tuhmb, and then held her hand out as if asking him to proceed to answer Ruin's question.
Obviously, she was all in, and she needed no words to express it.

This was the exact response that AirMan had hoped for. Unifying under a common goal would be exactly the "bonding" that this group so desperately needed after all of the chaos that had been going on for some time. It's just a shame that Xion and Jax were still MIA. Now, time for the details.
AirMan: Ho-ho... eager to begin, hmm? Very well.
AirMan takes a step back from Nu and Ruin, motioning for his two punk-Navi assistants to back him up.
AirMan: Our target will be an Electopian philanthropist who has plans not only to aid in cutting the red tape in rebuilding Creamland, but to amass some detrimental information that has the potential to cause us harm indirectly by taking out one of our more prominent family members.
AirMan glances over to Ruin, making it obvious who he was talking about.
AirMan: This unfortunate soul goes by the name of Verner Von Bluecher, and our goal is to relieve him of the funding and data that he is going to send out soon. And, from here, I will let Mode and Tekla finish.
The first to speak is the teal-colored punk Navi. He steps forward and raises a lanky arm, pausing for a moment before speaking.
Mode: Von Bluecher isn't as dumb as he seems. He knows that someone is coming for the data and resources, but he doesn't know that we know where and when he'll transfer both to Creamland. We're going to need to get into the weakened Green Tempest base and make some new enemies.
Next comes the dark pink punk Navi, who walks up with a much less pronounced manner.
Tekla: I've managed to get into his network, so I can delete his backup data and make sure that he doesn't have a leg to stand on. But if I do it now, the money that he's shipping will be lost to us. We've got one shot at this one, so we need to be careful.
This is when AirMan steps forward again, taking center stage.
AirMan: And this, my friends, is why I have to lay low for this one. If Von Bluecher spots me among the festivities, he'll be able to tie the job right back. But that's not to say that I won't be helping; my men and I will provide support and make sure that you know what to expect. And speaking of....
AirMan glances over and looks to his two archaic-designed Navis.
AirMan: Barrow, Ardor; you two are on recon duty. Go to creamland and start scoping out the area.
The two Navis nod and disappear in a flash of light.
AirMan: So now; any questions before we begin getting ready?

There were a lot of questions, but none of them were asked.
Nu had simply looked to the direction of Ruin. The glance from AirMan sitting at the back as the punk-looking NetNavi explained did not go unnoticed, but she doubt he was trying to do so. Even though she had a disdain and hesitant trust of AirMan, she-...well...there was nothing more to that. The blob did not know what he had to gain, but she always thought NetNavis were interesting: they did such a good job of mimicking the personalities of their Net Operators or humans in general.
So, in that nature, what was AirMan's gain? That question, too, went unasked.
Nu had verbalized in her own familiar way, raising her right hand into the air as she drew attention to herself. She opened her mouth, shaping it into the perfect "O" shape, and in a nonchalant manner, tossed her index finger into a pointing manner right towards it. She clearly was asking if there would be anything she could eat when she got there.
Nu could not fight her habit. The gelatinous program wanted to absorb data safely. She knew that Rosetta would not forgive her for indulging in her habit, but it was her nature! She had to sort out all the feelings later. For now, she would try to lay low and figure out all the details later...especially why she cared what a little girl thought, no matter how intelligent she was! She just wanted to return to her passion: learning and assimilating data worth her time.

*This was a popular gathering spot of late, for less than agreeable reasons for him, but hey, life happened. Though he came this time because not only was it something interesting, but from someone he hadn't heard from in a while. So the darkness pooled up, his eyes shining first before they dimmed down to their usual glow.*
"So I don't exactly know much from the message alone, but I'm a generous kind of guy. What's up?"
*If nothing else he at least thought he was plenty generous with people. That was all that mattered to him in the end. The ones who said differently, minus the ones here, just didn't have any appreciation was all.*

Nu massages her temples as the new NetNavi appears...
Apparently, this is what AirMan meant by "family." By his tone and word choice alone, the blob girl could tell he was summoned. Her gaze went to AirMan just for one moment. She questioned, in her mind, just how deep this guy's ties went with the underground. It was not her concern anyway; it was not like it would bring harm to herself, which she cared about. Nor, would it bring harm to Rosetta. Her ego and planning was enough to keep them at bay, especially when it meant keeping things a secret.
So, it drew her curiosity. "It" being the new NetNavi.
Her hand pointed a single finger to him, and swirled about in a circle as if questioning who he was. Her gaze went to AirMan once again as if she was prompting for him to answer, but as she looked to the NetNavi, she expected her answer to come from anywhere. She was not a picky little program, but just curious for information. Her attitude was reflected in her body movements as her left hand went to her right elbow and her straight face bent to an impatient frown as she awaited an answer.

*Normally he would let AirMan field the explanation when someone asked. But he was in the mood to mess around again. The blob creature seemed like a good subject of that too. She even looked impatient. He always had such fun with those kinds of people, like another certain person with a fiery temper. He wasn't terrible at charades so he could tell what she wanted at least.*
"I'm a navi who's the owner of a small town up the coast."
*He decided to play on it a bit more by being more animated than he normally would be. So he did a fist pump as enthusiastically as he could muster. He wasn't used to doing it so it was a bit tougher than he expected. He continued without much pause though.*
"Governor by day, stalker by night. Few know of me, the silent yet harmless predator!"
*He did a punch forward then followed by pointing off into the distance. Pretty much a few blatant lies tossed in there. Not to mention he probably would never be taken seriously by this blob again. He was pretty okay with this really. He was fine with people underestimating him.*
"All of these things put together lead to but one thing: Xion! That is who I am!"
*Animation was over now. He went back to be neutral again. He personally thought he nailed the presentation just fine.*
