???: "So what? You're just going to give up? You're going to forget everything you've done? Everything that others have done for you?"
From out of no-where, another lone navi appeared. This one was covered in battle scars, and carried a large blade with him.
???: "And don't forget, I saved your skin back there during that whole Samhain thing. If you're going to just give up on everything, maybe you're not as good as I thought. Shame though, I can't just let things go as they are.
Then the navi noticed something about the other. His weapons were missing.
???: "Do I have to do everything for you?"
At which point, he handed the other navi one of his own pistols.
???: "Don't lose this one."

As Warrior continued gazing at his reflection, he heard the voice of another navi, standing beside him. But he didn't raise his head to see who it was.
Rather, his eyes wandered to the newcomer's reflection on the water-surface. And his mood shifted dramatically from depressed to displeased.
"And don't forget, I saved your skin back there during that whole Samhain thing..."
" I don't owe you anything."
But that comment wasn't enough to effectively remove his audience. On the contrary, this new arriver handed Warrior one of his guns, seemingly in line with the desire to help Warrior find a will to fight again.
But the gesture was met with a blank expression and an emotionless stare at the weapon Warrior now held in his hand.
" ..."
His gaze remained locked on the reflection of the water, but he raised the gun to the new navi's head from where he was still sitting -- clearly issuing more of a threat than an alliance.
" Get lost."
The only way to rid himself from the burden of impossible hopes was to crush them before they ever began to sprout.

As the other navi turned to aim at his face, the swordsman grabbed the navi's arm, and twisted the weapon back out of it.
???: Listen, I don't like you, and you don't like me. but this isn't about us. This is a helluva lot bigger. We're talking about the survival, or extinction, of an entire race of people. If this thing from before tears up the internet, then there will be two possible outcomes. The first, The humans will erase every trace of the net as we know it. The second, the net gets deleted anyway, and we have another alpha on our hands, only much worse. or do you not care what happens to those that have done anything for you?!
Harsh? yes, but it got the point across.
Jinko: Now think. Do you really want to see the entire net deleted? Do you want to see everyone you ever cared about just disappear? Do you?!
Jinko suddenly grabbed the other navi by his collar, and slammed him into a nearby wall.
Jinko: If you continue down the path you've set yourself on, it will lead not only to your own destruction, but the destruction of everyone and everything around you. And, If by some miracle, we win without your help, and you're still sitting here, waddling in your stool, then I'll kill you myself!
Jinko was starting to lose control, he was starting to be dragged down by the other one. the one that had been born from his overuse of the darkchips. Suddenly he let out a bloodcurdling laugh. It was the sort of laugh that told you something bad was going to happen.
Dark Jinko: So, poor little boy can't even defend himself now? Man, that's just sad. Tell ya what, I'll help you out. You might have failed this far, but that's the beauty of it. The only direction you can go is up! Face it, it's not in your nature to give up!

Warrior winced as the navi unarmed him, and before he knew it he found himself up against a wall, face to face with this guy.
" You don't know anything about 'my nature'..."
Interestingly enough, Warrior made no effort to break free of Jinko's grasp.
Was he really not strong enough? Or was there some way for him to get loose?
Jinko's words echoed in Warrior mind as he continued his lecture.
" Do you want to see everyone you ever cared about just disappear? Do you?!"
" Everyone... I ever cared about..."
At first it seemed like Warrior was emotionally quoting what Jinko had said. But then, before Jinko could see it coming, Warrior had kicked him away to get some distance. It wasn't even a strong kick, really -- more like a 'push' with his knee, if anything else -- it certainly wasn't capable of causing any harm, or even pushing Jinko back more than a foot or two.
Warrior made no eye-contact with Jinko, but rather, looked beyond him, to the lake he was just sitting next to moments before.
His intentions of getting back to that water so that he could wallow in self-pity were quite clear, to say the least. He walked past Jinko, aggressively knocking shoulders as he passed by, and continued his statement as he continued his way to the water's edge.
" ... has disappeared."
And he wished he could do the same.

The sword wielder merely spat at the boy as he walked off, saying only this.
Jinko: Seems I was wrong about you. You don't give two [censored]s about anything but yourself. Don't worry, I won't come lookin' for you again. I'll just tell everyone how much of a [censored] you are.

"ATTENTION INTERNET DU SOIR"
A loud voice boomed on speakers that stood at least 6 feet tall. The black noise machines were arranged in a semi circle, and in the middle of the semi circle was a rather pale looking navi wearing a black t-shirt and jogging pants. As he moved around his hair seemed to flow in every which direction, a slightly glowing green strand getting in the way of the navi's face. A robotic voice began to play.
"WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!"
The man at the middle of the speakers began to speak, again, a light Netopian accent behind his every word.
"Attention once again, Internet Du Soir, your network is currently under attack, by a threat never seen before. . ."
Music started to play, slowly increasing in volume until it was blasting beyond a point where you should've been standing within a ten metre radius.
"THE THREAT OF A MUSICAL TAKEOVER!"

[bgcolor=black](Mile is a bit much, yeah? lol) The music boomed and reverberated off the walls of the building. Giving all those within the area a solid double dose of for most, musical torture... but for other, the raver crowd, they were loving life.
The fearful flocked away and the party animals crowded as close as they could manage without getting in the way of the mysterious navi and his workings.

But even just out of Musilipsis' reach was too close. Just before he had started, Musilipsis had taken a dose of Darkchips, and just now was feeling the effects. As he jumped he spun, and accidentally knocked down a speaker. He continued in a direction, slipping and twirling every which way. His body was out of control, and he could barely stand, but somehow he continued to party, at the risk of others' health.

It was during the navi's dancing escapade that Carbon entered. Looking around, he saw wild party goers, none more apparent than the one in the middle, who seemed a little too happy for the occasion.
"Whoa there. Maybe you should take a seat." Carbon spoke softly to Musilipsis. Carbon placed his hand on the navi's shoulder, who in turn was dancing so hard Carbon's hand was wildly thrown off. Having to jump out of the way constantly, Carbon eventually placed two rough hands on Musilipsis's shoulders, struggling to keep him still.

????: Enough is enough. I'm trying to work.
**From well on the edges of the sound of the din from the music a single shot rips straight through the street, soaring through the air over the heads of the navis surrounding the speaker cluster. The bullet bursts straight through one of the speakers that was still standing, sending a shower of sparks downwards as it vanishes. From the source, a young looking navi holds a very large gun that begins to vanish as she makes her way forward, as the navi begins closing the gap she quickly surveys the situation.**
Deis: "If you have him apprehended, I'll call the authorities. But first, we should really do something about this racket."
**Deis motions at the remaining speakers, two pistols slowly forming as she does so.**

Carbon was still struggling when a new navi appeared, one who meant business. She had a rough-looking blaster, something Carbon didn't want to mess with. He let go of Musilipsis, letting the crazy one go wild. Turning, he responded to the blue-clad navi.
"Hold on. Apprehend him? I have no plans of that. I was just trying to be nice and keep the poor guy from hurting himself. Or others. I have no intention of injuring this navi or detaining him. I just don't want him swatting at me.
Regardless, I agree with your last point." Carbon looked towards the speakers. Deis was forming the pistols, and he was forming a blot of plasma energy to blast to one of the speakers. Letting the ball go, one of the speakers exploded in a bright blast, causing shrapnel to fly everywhere. He crouched down, dragging Musilipsis with him to avoid being hit. Carbon then straightened up, once the debris settled down.

Even as Carbon had originally tried to hold him down, Musilipsis continued to dance, oblivious as to what was happening around him until Carbon dragged him down. When the shrapnel stopped flying around Musilipsis stood up, and took a moment to survey the surroundings. He didn't hear what Deis and Carbon were arguing about before, but could clearly see now that they had taken to destroying his speakers.
"Man, you guys must hate parties." Musilipsis groaned as he reformed the final speaker into a ball of energy which he then absorbed into himself. He then took out a small brown bag marked DCS, and took a small chip out. The chip was purplish in colour, but Musilipsis' thumb obscured anything else. He then raised the bag, the green glow of his bang turning the brown to an ugly yellow colour.
"Want one?" Musilipsis offered to any takers.

**Deis looks at the bag of dark chips and lets out a sigh. Her weapons begin to dematerialize**
Deis: It's not that I hate parties... I just hate when people interrupt my concentration. If you want to continue this, I suggest on the outskirts of town, preferably that way.
**Deis points across town, opposite of where she had arrived**
Deis: ...and as for dark chips, those things cloud your senses. If it weren't for this other navi, I would have probably injured you.

"Kay... Lady..."
Musilipsis started to walk towards Deis, but he was badly off balance, and the darkchip's effects had begun to take effect. When he eventually reached Deis Musilipsis was nearly falling. He came up close to her, and tried to give her a hug. The effects of darkchips were beginning to take their toll, and Musilipsis gave up trying to comprehend what was going on around him.
