Golem listened, as it had no choice but to. Actually it could have spaced out in it's own thoughts, but now was not the right time for that. Phoenix's plan seemed sound enough, if Golem had any kind of concern for it's well being. It wasn't arrogant, proud, or confident in it's ability to survive in a sense. It just... did not feel strongly one way or the other about it's right of existence. It was still trying to grasp why it existed as of now in the first place.
But it wouldn't learn anything by doing nothing either. This was a fact. At Erate's words, Golem's eyes started to flicker again. It was very unlikely, but Golem would attempt to monitor the activity of other networks. But with the game now in action, there wasn't anything that stood out to the stone guardian as... odd any more. Atleast not without some kind of assistance.

The navi designated as Jin had just exited the shell network and saw the same group in the night net.
"So, good news and bad news. Good news is that the damage is not spreading. Bad news, the network past what used to be millions street is gone. This means that the being of high immeasurable strength rumored tone there, if it ever was there, is there no longer."
Jin didn't know anything for sure. Most of his information of late was from rumors he heard in prison.
"If such a being was there, and now is not, then I can only see dark times ahead."

Challenger raises an eyebrow as Jin appears and has his say, crossing his arms and looking over to B.o.B. as he does so. He then motions to Jin as he speaks, obviously somewhat puzzled.
Challenger: ...didn't she just leave like five minutes ago?

Kajira: I don't know what's going on, Blake.
Blake: Well why not?
Kajira: I've been trying to listen but you keep interrupting.
This had been going on for the past several minutes, and while there had been plenty of action to be had, Kajira had been interrupted nearly every second by Blake. Finally, the young man left her alone and she sighed, before looking back at the others, having caught the tail end of the conversations.
"I missed the bulk of that due to my over-zealous NetOP, so I apologize. But I agree. We should find who is responsible for this and stop this madness. Any unnecessary deletion of Navi should be stopped. Now."

B.o.B. looked at Challenger and shrugged. B.o.B: "Time is relative to the perceive...well better regroup..." Without further ado B.o.B. ran and jumped head long right off the edge of the platform. "This seems familiar...oh yeah need to land..." Once again B.o.B. was caught up in its own thoughts about analyzing what had just happened in the previous situation and forgot to plan a graceful landing. Falling down B.o.B. landed atop Golem's head with a hard oomf !...

It seemed to Phenoix that everyone was mostly in agreement, and though various antics were taking place, everything seemed as if it had quieted down to a certain degree. He was pleased in that regard, though he was rather bothered still by a series of mails with the one known as Longinus. Perhaps he had been around for some time so he thought he demanded some level of respect, though perhaps that was not necessarily the case. This newcomer however, Jin, would likely be very helpful in catching him up in regards to the incident regarding this game, and the navi running it. He had seen all walks of beings in his time, of all different levels of power. After some degree of fighting against them or with them, one often becomes skeptical of others that show themselves, especially in such a flashy manner.
"It seems we are mostly in agreement then. We should all keep in contact with one another if we do not move entirely as a group, which while preferred is not always the best choice. First things first however, Jin was it? You seem to know quite a bit regarding this incident. We were busy earlier, but could you enlighten us to the situation? You said the Shell Network used to be something else? Millions Street?"

"Well, I had just been released. Decided to see what was going on here tat had everyone so frazzled. Fought a punk blob-girl-thing, saw an l friend from the ONB, then noticed a oddly colored mystery data. Kinda made me think back to listening to the children's story, Pandora's Box. Anyway, someone opened it and all shell broke loose. I left to get help......but a certain ONBug was less that helpful. Atr that, I came back, and the one that helped me fight the blob-girl had numbers above his head, and was shouting something about points."
Having rambled enough out by now and not wanting to have to repeat himself further, he said one more thing.
"I really hope you were all listening because I'm not repeating myself. Now then, I have also heard rumors of a being of immeasurable power being confined in the area past that network. Said area no longer exists."

Near the middle of the group, a navi materialized from nowhere. It was the same, odd, strange navi that appeared just minutes prior in Shell network. The navi wore a flat brimmed hat, black suit, and emotionless expression. It looked up at Phoenix with, cold, dead eyes. "Hello. I am Dr. Image, the Image of the Future. I have zomething for you, an offering in exchange for cooperation with one of my colleaguez."Dr. Image opened his suitcase, revealing a blindlingly bright golden light, before closing it again, this time holding a piece of data in his hand. "The navi you are zeeking, Nidhiki, is engaged in combat in Zharo area, under the crumbling mountain of the old wayz. He has been purzued in the nature of the quote-unquote 'game', but not for the reazonz immediately evident."He just spoke with no preamble, staring at Phoenix, ignoring all of the other navis and conversation around him. In fact, even if other navis started to talk to him, he simply ignored them, focusing his entire attention on Phoenix through the duration of his speech. "Zince the Zhell Incident, upon exiting Nidhiki has been the proprietor of an artifact, a 'myzteriouz ztone'." He handed the first piece of data, showing a navi in a dark cave, very far away, holding a red object. It seemed to be images from a scope on a gun. "Through combat, the navi haz been drawn to dezperation to uze thiz artifact, combat that would only rezult from having zuch a high zcore placed upon hiz poor head. It is believed the zcore of '100' waz granted as a method of triggering the voluntary activation of thiz artifact." The images he held in front of him moved like a flipbook, showing combat between multiple navis, resulting in the stone embed itself into Nidhiki's own eye socket and the navi rising to his feet to fight. These images came from another navi who must have been on-scene at the time. As the images progressed, the combat got more intense until a cave in, then an avalanche, began. The last few images showed the cowing image of a cute navi underneath a series of powerful navis, all under the crushing landslide. No other images followed. "Thiz iz the purpoze of both the game and the artifact thuz far, and finding thiz navi may be exceedingly difficult now. However, my colleague haz obtained zufficient data to begin tracking the navi, and azzociates."
Dr. Image motioned toward Jin. "Thiz navi may recognize this artifact from the Zhell Network incident. Making an attempt into the EMP network, from where your mystery data originates, is vital to your zuccezz. However, zo long az the game continuez in itz current form, it zhall be impozzible. The zource of this peril is deeper than thiz artifcact, but it represents a catalyst of evil from which thiz bloodzhed originates. Following it will only lead you to further evil." He turned back toward Phoenix, again, his expression unmoving despite the immense gravity of what he was saying. For the first time, Dr. Image paused, as if thinking, before continuing. "Already, you have failed to prevent the destruction of thiz mountain, its inhabitantz, and many of the participantz of thiz game, and the effort of gathering these navis has slowed your progrezz conziderably. But there iz ztill hope for you, for your quezt is long, and zuch a zetback will be forgotten in time."Dr. Image then gestured to the many navis around them, gathered around Phoenix. As his words grew more dramatic, his voice remains business-like and flat. It was absolutely eerie to hear such passionate words coming from such an emotionless navi. "You, like the many before you, have gathered power without control. If you wish to combat the giants behind evil, you will require the prezcence of both naviz and humans, net ztrength and operator ztrength combined in unity." Dr. Image dropped his arm, still addressing Phoenix. For your organization to be zuccezzful, you need a ztaff, an operationz control, an intelligence network, a baze of operationz and many technological advantagez over your enemiez. Thiz group must become zomething greater than mere naviz."At this point, Dr. Image started to look at the other navis. "While thiz group containz much power, it iz without organization or logitizticz." Dr. Image then produced a second piece of data. It was a.... resume? Dr. Image nodded at Phoenix. It contained a long list of successful multinational companies, ranging from Investment Banks to Real Estate, to Scientific research businesses, all of which Dr. Image had supposedly worked for at time point in time, instrumental in rehabilitating the failing companies into thriving businesses. "Azzet management, organization, team-building, and rehabilitation are my zpecialitiez. I have a full time ztaff of zcientiztz, a location, and rezources at the ready, if you zo chooze to further cooperate."Dr. Image then produced the penultimate piece of data, which was a list of navi names. "Az a zhow of good faith, thiz is the lizt of all naviz involved in the Zharo Mazzacre, which haz occurred while you continue to meet here. Thiz information is mere minutez old. It iz now a lizt of leadz for you to inveztigate next." He cleared his throat now, nearing the end of his speech. He gave Phoenix time to look at the list. Accompanying each navi name was brief description and an image from the battle. with the exceptions of Resonance and Xion, which had only names but no data. "At thiz very moment, you are a gathering of naviz, both known and unkonwn, with divergent purpozez and pathz, zelf-interezted, and cooperating out of carnal dezires, not out of a vision for the future. You have yet to zee thiz vision, I am here to invite you." Dr. Image now walked toward the center of the group, addressing the entire area instead of just Phoenix. In that ever-constant monotone, emotionless and dead, his words continued. "You all may zee merely a motley crew of naviz, but in you I zee The Image of The Future. Your deztinies lie not along a path of combat, but of peace. For in thiz group is the zpark to do thingz for the network beyond the reach of the Official Net Battlerz, to fight without bureaucracy, and to be the team of the zhadowz, of espionage and tactics, ztriking at the threatz too large for any other naviz to ztrike, uzing methodz too extreme for any other naviz to uze."
He paused, looking at the faces of all the navis around him. "Iz thiz not what you have gathered here for? Iz this not what you dezire? The Danger? The Thrill? The preztige? Are you not naviz of ztrength, zeeking to improve the world around you? Do you not zee the evil that permeatez thiz world, giving birth to thiz 'Game'?"
"You are engaged in a war between Peace and Chaoz." "You judge the threatz to thiz peace, and you uphold the law of reazon, not of bureaucracy. You are The Court." he said, this time actually raising his voice slightly. He then lifted an arm to point at the figure of Phoenix. "And he iz your Arbitrator."
He then produced the last and final piece of data, which was an organization structure based on the navis in the immediate vicinity. This was handed to Phoenix without mention, as an example of what this group was capable of if given the proper organization.
To fight Giants, Protect the Net, and Maintain Order without Jurisdiction, Bureaucracy, or Limits.
Division A: Management Arbitrator: Phoenix.EXE Research: Jin Logistics: Dr. Image, the Image of the Future
Division B: Combat Division Commander: Challenger Offense: Erat Support: Golem
Division C: Intelligence Division Commander: Kajira Investigation: B.o.B. Support: Mirror
Provided for example by Dr. Image, the Image of the Future. "If you wish to contact me, you may do zo at thiz private addrezz. If you do not wizh for cooperative work, then do not contact, and it will be az if we had never met. But while you wait to organize yourzelvez, more are zuffering." He said, producing a card with the private address on it. "Thank you, and may all your dayz be wonderful and zee zuccezz." He said.
And with that, Dr. Image faded completely out of existence, disappearing from the net entirely.

Golem had been paying attention, honest. But he had still been trying to monitor other networks for anything out of the usual. And as it turned out, he got a hit finally. It was the place the Doctor mentioned, there was a huge spike of seismic activity moments ago. If they were to believe him, this was too strange of a coincidence to ignore. "This one concludes the strange man is atleast correct. The designated network shows a brief fluctuation in seismic activity that could only be the destruction of a mountain or something of that nature," Golem spoke in case anyone still had doubts.
Now it was up to them what to do with the knowledge. Golem was fairly neutral about it, but had not yet returned to dormancy. It only awoke to resolve some kind of incident in it's vicinity, so with that in mind, it concluded that it was supposed to try and resolve this matter here and now.

Erat's heart almost jumped in his mouth as he saw the images. The doctor semed far in the distance as he stared, paling visibly as he noticed the combatants. The 4 legged, reaver eyed Nidhiki, the golden Quo, the temporal Resonance...
and the little girl known as 'Noal.exe'.
She would be easy picking for those after Nidhiki, and it looked like she was there to try and save the navi known as Src. 'She's going to get herself deleted!' It looked like Quo and Nidhiki were already struggling with what they were up against, and Xion and Resonance had yet to be involved.
"I'm going." He said, already prepping for a network switch. They had wasted too much time, they needed to act now. "There's too many potential casualties there. We need to act now. My plan is to get in, get the girl out of there, buy time for the others then deal with the attackers to the best of our abilities. Now whose with me?"

Challenger: Looks like she's holding her own to me.
Challenger leaps down from the building that he had been standing atop, landing in a crouched position with one fist on the ground. He then gets up and begins to dust himself off, now obviously distracted.
Challenger: Not saying that you shouldn't go, just saying how I see it. I'll also say this though: that suit gives me the creeps.
In spite of his memory-wipe, Challenger had been piecing together what he had been in the past, and he had a pretty good idea; he was an ONB enforcer. However, one memory makes itself fully clear to him in this light.
Challenger: I used to be the Navi of a bureaucrat. One that was more straight-forward than this guy, but still. I don't feel like putting myself under those shackles again. If you guys want to follow some guy who doesn't even have the decency to stick around and hear what you have to say after he tries to recruit you for a life-changing choice, then do what you like. As for me, I'm going to keep on doing what I know is right; protecting my friends in the way that I see fit.

"Intriguing."
A pillar of light illuminated the cobblestone. Nature seemed to bloom, sudden bursts of colors and flowers spread across the network, otherwise invisible gardens sprouted upwards, spreading into full bloom. The navi responsible struts in a simple smock, coming forward to greet the navis gathered.
"Hello."
Juno waves.

...he'd felt this before. This guy wasn't a common Navi, and he seemed to match the description of this "Juno" that everyone had been talking about as of late. In fact, that voice matches up perfectly with what he'd heard in his head earlier. With this realization, Challenger's broad shoulders round, his arms drop, and his face contorts to an expression somewhere between frustration and disappointment.
Challenger: ....crap.

Erat stopped prepping for the network transfer. Challenger was right on every level and he knew it. He didn't know what Noal was actually capable of, and of what they had seen, she had seemed fine. Another thought came to his mind. 'We don't even have a time stamp on this info, only what the big navi has confirmed for us, and that the network has experienced seismic that correlates with a mountain collapsing. For all we know that happened a while ago.'
"I didn't say I wanted to be a part of that organization." Erat started, not wanting his intentions misinterpreted. "I only wanted to act on the information that had been given. But you are correct, the group, especially the girl, is most likely taking care of itself, and that he's not necessarily to be trusted. Heck, now that I think about it, we don't even have a time stamp on when this was."
He scratched his head, frustration slowly filling him. He hated not knowing the status of the battle or where it truly is. "So where do we go from here? For all we know Nidhiki has left the network or been deleted by now..."
And then Juno arrived. Or at least, he assumed it was Juno, based on what he remembered of the voice in his head from when he was still sobering up, along with Challenger's reaction to his arrival. "So you're Juno I take it?" Trying to act friendly to the game-master. After all, he had given Nidhiki 100 points to start with, god help them if he put a higher bounty of them. "May I ask what we've done to earn your presence on this fine evening?"

At the very least, the information was good to know about. Netopia network was located a fair distance away from Sharo, so he had not noticed the massive geographical change. But as Challenger had mentioned, tying up with the bureaucrat of a navi seemed like a poor choice, and by no means did it seem wise to trust him. If this grouping were ever to become an organization of any kind, perhaps one focused on peacekeeping, Phenoix could think of a few who would be likely much better to lead it. An old organization came to mind, one of a few Phenoix had been a part of at one point. The Nanashi Syndicate. Perhaps its initial purpose was not of this like, but before it dismantled to the winds of time, it was a paragon toward peace, hosting the only congregation he had known to happen with navis of all walks coming together to focus on defeating a common enemy that threatened the net in its entirety. It was here that great powers worked together, and from here that they finally were able to start taking back the net from Eon's grip.
Perhaps such a world would be possible once again.
But for now, this group was merely that. Just a group of navis with a common goal. Trying to do what they thought was right... It was better not to dwell on what they could have done, only to think and act so they could shape a better future in the face of this adversity.
As a rather flashy display occurred shortly after Challenger's words after descending from his perch. From it walked a navi rather inconsipcuously. Challenger's reaction was rather adequate, to attempt to fight this navi here would be a death wish. Phenoix had felt power like this a few times before. Even though this navi seemed rather docile, it was clear it held quite a bit of power. Perhaps this was the one who started this whole ordeal... The name... Juno? Strange name... Phenoix had a certain degree of conflict in his mind as they approached. Acting friendly could obviously yield better results vs someone he knew he could not combat, but it left a poor taste in his mouth if this was indeed the true enemy. Phenoix decided to go a more direct route. One thing was clear, any navi with this much power was often like the others... Trying to force their ideals on others.
"Hello there. Quite a flashy entrance... What brings you here to this small gathering?"
Despite Phenoix's relative calm, internally he was furious. What gall to approach so casually. It was infuriating. He knew he was powerless as is, but it was still incredibly bothersome. Well played Juno... Well played.
