Laying on a remote forested hillside is the district of "L'Internet du Soir" as its creators dubbed it. A network where the digital sun has no place in the sky, letting the moon reign supreme in its haunting glow.
The buildings stonework match that of England in the 1,500's. The streets are lined of neatly arranged cobblestone that makes its way to each other building in the area. There's a small park roughly half the size of a football field near the center of town with a pond that is barely a fifth in size compared to the park.
Every few streets is another restaurant, cafe, or shop. All labeled as such via the signs dangling overhead the doorway. The most prominent of these businesses however is a pub that work from the modified basement of the owners building. A small staircase off the street leads down to the door. Finely engraved guardrails line edges ensuring no one falls down in a stupor. At the base of the buildings second story dangles the sign. It reads "Jade Monkey Dragon".
Over all the classic feel and night-loving patrons of the "L'Internet du Soir" make it one of the most enjoyable and relaxing places in the net!

As he stops his movement, the swordsman looks around the area. It was... rather an interesting place, all things considered, given the environment and style. Not a bad one at the least. He pulled out the folder that he had been given, pausing for a second. Even with all of this though, he was still a bit wary of trusting the darkloid. Like the Navi had said, there was a motive for the Navi of poisons as well. But... There was little choice at the moment. He began the code access and install, wondering just what would come out of all this.

The data unfurls and weaves itself into the location where Void accesses it, and then the lines of code split off to streak through and under the ground off to locations unknown.

“This world I have long forgotten; I return to give it a warm embrace once more.” _______________________________ There was a flash like lightening, but not bolt in the sky was before or after.
A beam touched down within the net area moments before that light show of data, so the new figure that was dawned in a lovely little maid’s outfit had missed it as such. She had only stood on the hillside of the moonlit area and looking about wondering and wondering. Her dazzled eyes went from rail to light, light to sign, sign to windows of a soft warm, orange glow. It was like that world. Yes! That world she so desired to see like it was her Oz and this imitation of a net world was a Kansas.
“Xen-kun, such a wonderful place!~” the NetNavi sung with joy as she tipped onto her toes. The weight of her body sent her toppling forward before she recovered with a whip of her leg and a dance on her tip toes. Her black dress and apron had spun in the gentle follow wind of her movements before her arm swayed upward and shielded her eyes as if she was trying to peer through false binoculars. She need no better vision to see the beautiful of the moon that was the skyward backdrop of the imitation of a town.
“It’s like your, world.” she had said, “Oh, how I do yearn for it!”
The NetNavi closed her eyes in regret saying that, and grunted even more almost forgetting her mission as she became lost in her dreams and fantasies. That world was not for her, no matter how she craved it. Even her existence itself was not something of certainty.
Like a wave that hit a shore, the thoughts were washed away like a tide wiping a blank slate in the sands. There were no traces of her fantasy thoughts, but rather her memory that almost slipped away a second ago that there was a needed important mission. The network was said to be chaotic, and so she was on-guard. Her arms came to her side and Megami had begun to step forth and walk along the square cobblestone blocks that made the walkway. Her hands had reached out touching the hand rails and felt the slightest chill that were reminiscent to something of a moonlight’s walk under such a romantic city that was under the most romantic of crescent moons. She had searched the streets, looking for the faintest of presences, but found little to no one on the network.
“I’m here now,” the familiar sound coming through the network before a window opened revealing the communication avatar of the violet haired boy, “I’m having trouble communicating. I guess it’s because we had to force a log-in with ONB being strict about people logging in right now. Also, the P.E.T. said the café linked you directly to Netopia. Did you find any-”
“Xen-kun,” Megami had cut in as she walked on the quiet streets. Her eyes shifted left to right as if she was in danger, but it was the opposite: even worse, she was alone. “I see no one here.” Megami had said lowly. Walking on, she had kept walking amongst the streets of the night city.
However, she felt someone else was here. The felt aura within the air had told her there was someone out there...somewhere. _______________________________ “So why do I feel no embrace in return.” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Up, Up, and Away!” by LightsIC Attire: Blessed MaidChatty Ditz:-----

[From Rammount] A darkloid takes uncharacteristically firm strides through the throng of the L'Soir's central streets, heedless of the traffic flow. His form shimmers. Data glitches around him, shifts and twitches into being, envelops his body, and then settles into solidity: A ragged brown cloak, unused for years, now settles on his form. As he stands straight and makes subtle surveillance, he dons his hood. This'll be the last time I hide out of paranoia, darn it... Without so much as another glance at the surroundings, he shifts past an unsuspecting navi and plunges into one of the network's darker alleyways, making for his old hole-in-the-wall.

[bgcolor=392600]Also from Rammount
A small vortex appeared on the shadowed wall a few blocks away from where the cloaked figure had appeared. From it emerged a tall and well built navi to the point of being large. Upon his emergence the churning portal closed behind him, departing without a sound.
Yet again he made this journey, and like before his stature made any kind of orthodox methods worth more risk than anything. He had his ways though, and rather than try in vain to blend in with the crowd, the silent goliath chose instead to bypass them entirely.
The navi still shrouded in the dank alleyways shadows began to step forward... or down rather. With every step he took the alleys digital cement buckled beneath his feet, creating a staircase into the ground itself that closed behind him, masking him under the busy streets of Du Soir much as he was moments prior in the alley.
Once underground the navi walked the same path as cloaked one before, the dirt bending in front of him, leaving plenty of room to walk but quickly resuming its rightful place once he had past. The stoic navi ascended the same way as he had descended upon reaching a darker portion of the same alleyway as his accomplice, meeting him at their destination.

“This world I have long forgotten; I return to give it a warm embrace once more.” _______________________________ There was chill down his spine!
The violet had a chill that ran down his back like the coldest sweat. He could not explain why, but he had a bad feeling; but then again, Xenneth Hikari always had a bad feeling. He was certainly not the brave out of the duo, while he shook in his seat; the female NetNavi dodged the traffic of people with a sweep of her body and a toss of her shoulders. Her eyes went to the small groups of people that made their way along the public street’s walkway. She had no whim on what was out of the ordinary as of late after logging in for so long. If anything, things seemed fine compared to how the ONB made it sound like with their temporary suspension of licensure.
“Oh?” the female NetNavi stopped as she stood amongst the crowd, “I felt something.”
“…something?” Xenneth echoed.
The female NetNavi was not always certain of such things when she felt them. She was not psychic, a genius, nor was she a mind reader; Megami was just as special NetNavi that had “instinct” that was given a boost of perception by her power over aura. It did not take her long to look about the crowd looking for anything out of the ordinary, but to her dismay, she found nothing. She was completely oblivious of the happenings, especially that she turned the blind side of her head to the vanishing NetNavi that went into the shadows, completely unaware of exactly what she was missing.
“It probably was nothing!~” she had chimed, “However, we should be careful. I am fairly sure that they would not restrict us from the internet for nothing, but whatever ‘something’ of that reason is, it must be massive.” Megami commented to the small open window that popped up with a digital blip of a sound. She had seem calm and tranquil as she said these words while the face of her Net Operator was showing a false sense of ease. Xenneth Hikari lowered his chin as if giving an incomplete nod towards the NetNavi’s warning.
Everything was given validity in face value as far as safety went, but there was this dense “tension” within the air that bothered the angelic NetNavi. _______________________________ “So why do I feel no embrace in return.” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Walking on Airi” by KerliIC Attire: Blessed MaidChatty Ditz:-----

[More from Rammount]
From the darkened alleyways, the shadows warped and twisted about, forming a portal of which both a dark navi and a figure cloaked in a veil of darkness emerged from. As They left the portal and looked about, the cloaked navi looked to the second, then looked about once more.
???????: "Why do I have to wear this... thing?"
????: "Because you stand out too much here obviously. Anyway follow me."
The two moved through the darkened alleyways of Du Soir, but the twists and turns of the surface catacombs proved confusing for one who's never navigated them before. Even with a guide, the cloaked navi quickly got lost, separated from the other. He looked about in confusion, slightly worried that he was separated, but much more relieved that he wouldn't have to be tied to that Darkloid any more. As he wandered the alleyways, he soon found an opening to the main streets, where he headed, the cloak still obscuring his true identity and the light he naturally gives off.
The remaining dark navi further navigated the alleyways, finding the familiar hole in the wall, though it took some time. It hadn't been used in quite a while and his memory of it was rather fuzzy. Regardless, he went in, aware that he had apparently lost his companion, but it was probably for the better. He didn't really know why he was bringing him along, maybe he just liked having minions. But for a minion, the winged navi was rather demanding. So it would seem it is for the best.
As the cloaked one wandered the streets, blending into the crowd, he spotted another navi, standing out from the rest. One similar to him, winged, more akin to an angel than that of a mythical bird of flame. He walked over to a nearby cafe and sat down at the table, ordering some black tea as he observed the navi, to see what they were doing here.

Inside the small hideout, Toxin broods against a wall while tipping his chair precariously. He doesn't acknowledge Jax, and at Ruin's entrance he only glances up and ceases tilting himself. No conversation is offered to the unexpected guest.

[From Green Tempest]
A swarm of bats would descend upon a local church, making it's home in the bell tower, where it reformed as Shade, minus one or two fingers. There, he would open up a secret way down to the basement of said religious building, and rest in a long forgotten Coffin.
[Sleep Mode: Activated]
After a few hours of well needed rest, the Vampire himself, Shade, returned to his former glory. Bat-like wings spread from the area between his shoulder blades, and he tore across the skies in a streak of pure darkness.

“This world I have long forgotten; I return to give it a warm embrace once more.” _______________________________ “Maybe this place is normal,” Xenneth had begun to say, “We should log out for now Megami-chan. After all, the ONB are the ones issuing the order that we had to log out months ago.”
Megami had nodded her head acknowledging Xenneth’s warning. The atmosphere was tense around his net area and maybe it was best that Megami logged out. The eyes of Megami went around wearily as if there was something sickening in the air. The aura that was around her had begun to go black telling the angelic NetNavi that there was a disturbance. She was trying to avoid any situations that seemed too dangerous or too suspicious, and most likely, this was a clear sign for her that this was probably one of those situations she had tried to distance herself from.
“I see. I’ll log out of here for now, Xenneth.” Megami had said, beckoning for Xenneth to leave the Net Area in a blaze of light as she picked up off the street as if she was ascending to the heavens. With the computer confirming her log out, Megami had vanished leaving a lone space in the area of De Sol. _______________________________ “So why do I feel no embrace in return.” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Walking on Air” by KerliIC Attire: Blessed MaidChatty Ditz:-----

[From Green Tempest...again]
A swarm of bats makes its home in the basement of an abandoned church, where they reform into Shade, who then climbs into his coffin to rest.

[glow=white,2,500] *As Embera bolted into the network, she had been lead to the hole-in-the-wall area. Seeing it was a place of secret, she lead Scruffy to the edge of the ally, before rubbing filth into his fur.*
Embera: You gotta remember this scent, and we'll be back here, for now, we gotta blend in better.
*Not knowing any better way, save her own natural talents, she made her way to an abandoned church. She couldn't find anyone, but felt like exploring regardless. Making her way to the basement, she noticed a row of coffins. Gently knocking on the coffins, she came across one that had life inside. With a smirk, she punched a hole in the coffin, and pulled out Shade.*
Embera: Hrm...you look like a good navi, you'll do...
*Taking in the wholeness of Shade's appearance, Embera began to reshape her data to compile the physical appearance of her person to match that of Shade, only to a golden red color reflected over almost everything except her skin. Seeing her reflection, she was satisfied, as she looked nothing like her old self.*
Embera: And to make sure you don't try to see where I'm going....
*Embera took her free fist and extended the fingers, impaling Shade through the top of his skull, incapacitating him and leaving him in his coffin to recuperate, conscious of all the pain from the blow.*
Embera: Time for me to get back to Scruffy...[/glow]

Inside the hideout, a small viewfinder activates on the wall, displaying Embera walking away and her virus standing sentinel at the end of their alley. UNKNOWN DATA SIGNATURES appears across the bottom of the screen, and Toxin finally stops rocking his chair. "Ugh... Five's too many... and too many know where this is. What the ****... Jax... we're goin'. Ruin... kill the intruder, or grab them away, or destroy the place... whatever it is you're doin' these days. Just remember: Recruit." The toxic navi with apparently previously unknown unintentional containment issues ((/sarcasm ;p)) stands and holds out a hand to the wall: It bubbles and boils, and eventually opens into a greasy portal.

He was right, too many unwanted followers. As the corrosively grotesque door swirled into a large oval on the wall Jax stepped into it without hesitation. As he went he shot Ruin a shadowed glance before disappearing entirely within the portal.
