Serenade looks down to Juno's hand, then returns his gaze to the Reaver King's face, his own face unmoved at these words.
Serenade: This network is an extension of the Undernet. Why have you invaded my kingdom?

If it wasn't for the fact his jaw was held up by magnets, it would've hit the floor when Juno spoke. 'THEY KNOW EACH OTHER?!' Nidhiki thought, his mind just about ready to blow. 'What the heck is going on here?!' However, it appeared Serenade wasn't having any of it. 'Must not be best of friends then. I wonder how long they've known each other?'

"I am in the process of creating Elysium. There exists forces in this world that seek to destroy it. It is this unit's prime directive to habilitate the continued existence of navi-kind."
Juno retrieved his outstretched hand.
"Do you not remember us fighting together, so long ago? The world is no longer like that. This world has become complacent with the ills of its own creation - the very fabric of our existence is threatened.
I apologize Serenade, but I must do this."

Serenade's expression remains stoic against Juno as he looks on, the reignments behind his back gently flowing as they hover in place.
Serenade: This world is the same as it has always been. The avatars of chaos and order rise against each other, yet they meet in the middle. At times one presses the other away, but the oppressed always rises, stronger than before. Your excuse is feeble, and your heart plagued by selfish desires cloaked with false purity. You lack the power of mercy, and that shall be the undoing of your ill-laid plans.

"Perhaps this were true. But I have found that Duo is on a collision course. The world needs a saviour - at any cost Serenade." Juno said, his reaction. It was a take it or leave it response. The Elysium networks would hold what was left good and truthful, and Duo was free to destroy the rest.
"If you claim I lack mercy, then clearly you do not see the mercy in building a Heaven for a world whose impending judgement can only bring death.
This is the afterlife. Elysium."

Serenade looks around, his face distorting to disgust as he realizes just what Juno had been doing here. Things were starting to make sense.
Serenade: ....the afterlife. Yes, it is....
Serenade then returns gaze to Juno, now obviously angered.
Serenade: ....it's purgatory. A world free from anything that resembles life, where our brand of life subsists in worthless safety, devoid of all that makes it worth living. And what of those that you deem unworthy of your purgatory? Are you their judge, with the right to say that their time to change is over?
Duo has been faced before, and beaten. His favor turned toward us. In your foolishness, you don the mask of peace. All the while ignoring the question that should burn at your very core; what changed to make an ally of the good in this world turn against us suddenly?
Serenade's eyes narrow as he clenches a fist, the temperature in the area rising several degrees in response to his rising anger.
Serenade: What if it's you? What if he senses the evil veiled within your heart, and seeks to extinguish it before you can spread to others like a disease.

"How long has it been, Serenade? Do you forget the one who defeated Duo the first time?"

Serenade: I do not, but it seems that you do. Mercy and kindness, they are the way to a true future of peace. Your way is but the folly of yet another who thinks that peace can be bought at the cost of choice. Reconsider your ways, Juno. If you truly desire peace, then know that it comes with sacrifice; the sacrifice of this mad dream that will only bring captivity. If you truly desire to save this world, then stand with those who seek the same end.

The entire situation seemed more dire by the second, and on a much larger scale to boot. Something named Duo was bringing judgement, and that he'd been through this before? 'I really wish I understood what was going on...'
However, one thing was becoming clear to the ex-merc. Something bad was coming that would cause mass-deletion and Juno was building a 'heaven' for those he deemed worthy, where he was judge, jury and exectioner. And Serenade believed that it was all a lie and essentially a soulless place.
However, it was clear that the whole situation was far grander than Nidhiki had thought it was. So much that he didn't know if even the Under King was capable of stopping it. They seemed to be getting very tense however, and Nidhiki realized a conflict would potentially happen.
He slowly backed off, hoping to get to a slightly safer distance. However, his foot scraped a loose piece of rubble, causing a pile beside him to collapse in a loud scraping of rock and metal. 'Well this just got awkward...' he thought, terrified of what would follow.

"Serenade, I simply cannot fathom your beliefs in a merciful peace. Duo lacks mercy, and I fear the one that I cannot see has less. Should either succeed, then there will be Elysium.
This is my new Prime Directive- the Exordium Games are too slow. Heroes will not rise-
not without a villain I fear."
Juno turns away from Serenade, a world of plants being built around the two. Reavers toil away, planting the data for billions of sakura and bamboo. Just ahead of Juno a fountain begins to take form, and a bench. Juno sits, patting the open space as if an invitation for Serenade to join him.

Serenade stares coldly at Juno's invitation, his hands slowly turning into fists. His eyes go from the seat to Juno's own, burning with a power of legendary magnitude and a regal authority worthy of the legendary Under King, an authority that places him above such a gesture.
Serenade: The reasons that you give are the exact reasons that this "elysium" should never be. The age of the hero ended long ago, this is the age of strength in banding with one another. And if you insist on continuing with this corrupt agenda...
The reignments about Serenade shine and lighten to a bright pink tone as a wind sweeps through the area, seeming to almost come to Serenade's beck and call. The feeling rolling off of the Dark King of Mercy becomes more agressive and oppressing, radiating a feel of kin to that of Forte's own power, but far more refined.
Serenade: ....then you too should never be.

Juno: "You are both merciful - and arrogant."
A moment of silence echoes through the area, a pinkish aura appearing around Juno, then dissipating, revealing it was always there - a shield, invisible until now - and now gone, dissapeared. This was a fight.
Casting his hand to the right, the aura cuts through the ground and binds itself to the four legged reaver called Nidhiki. Juno then stands, a smile on his face as a bright, devastating light emanates outwards, not unlike that which rose L'Internet to become the first part of Elysium.
And in the center of this light stands the familiar figure of an ancient hero, clad in blue, with pink bangs barely jutting out from the tips of His helmet. In the center of Elysium, the ReaverLord stands tall - a hero of history, known to even the lowliest, simplest programs.
Bathed in a fountain of light stands MegaMan.exe. Buster drawn, Juno prepared and waited for that first assault.
"You dare defy Megaman!?"

Still Serenade stands, unflinching in the face of Juno's insult and flashy transformation. His only movement in the face of it all is the narrowing of his eyes at the final words, which finally sparks a response.
Serenade: No....
The pure light and absolute darkness within the Under King radiate out in the form of a chaotic yet fully controlled energy. However, this power reveals no visible changes as Serenade widens his stance slightly and stands prepared to do battle with Juno, as it now seems inevitable.
Serenade: I defy nothing more than another madman seeking control under the guise of bringing peace. One of countless hypocrites who claim themselves unlike the rest.
The reignments hovering behind Serenade's back become rigid, as if sales in gale-force winds. And now the Under King stands ready to do battle with Juno; a fight that he does not intend to lose.

So simple. A fight. Just another of the many Megaman has fought over the years. Megaman, hero of the network, destroyer of kings and gods - the Blue Bomber.
With a pinkish hue to him, Megaman Juno holds out his hands, stretching outwards as if to conduct an orchestra - and one he does conduct. Selections of battle chips expand outward, Juno scanning and choosing three battle chips in particular.
"Meteors."
Above, a swarm of rocks hang in the sky, waiting for the next command.
"Attack Plus"
The meteors begin to glow with a dangerous pulsing. They begin to fall, not downwards, but inwards, collapsing unto themsleves.
"Uninstall."
Finally, Juno plays his hand, standing still upon the 3 by 3 grid that had appeared beneath.
The meteors begin to change in such a way, like two beings with their own thought and operation. One bright as the sun and one dark as night, entangled in eachother's gravity, they began to collapse down upon the Underking, taking no time to wreak their massive force upon the network.
"Program advance: SunMoon. Oh so easy, isn't it Serenade? Brings back memories."

Serenade ignores Juno's continued light-hearted banter, still holding onto his own stern defiance against the mad titan. He remains unflinching as the program advance of ages past appears in the sky above Juno, and faces its beginning, a set of highly-focused meteors, with a stone gaze. But even more than that, a very knowing gaze. Why? Because Juno had already made a mistake.
The split second before the meteors impact the Under-King, he closes his yes, raises an arm, and swiftly spins around in a motion of kin to a graceful and blindingly fast dance. Along with this dance of the titan of light and darkness, his reignments hold to their orbital position and swiftly slice through the air around him, effortlessly slicing the oncoming meteors to pieces while sending out a set of wind-like blades at sonic speeds, each one careening directly for Juno's position.
Next, the satelite turns to a deep azure tone. Already knowing what's coming next, Serenade seems to glide on his feet back several yards, narrowly avoiding the oncoming beam and follow-up explosive blast of the crashing satelite. As the wreckage from the blast clears, the final after-images of Serenade, each one a deep, bluish tone, disappear from where he had been standing, and a set of beautiful, radiant lights swiftly follow an erratic pattern towards Juno's position.
