Type: Single-Judge (requesting) Posts: 2 intro posts each, 5 battle posts each Story Version: Off Version Bonus Points: Off Version Match: Matched at v11 Setting: In the heart of Bayside City, near a large fountain. The fountain is lit up with bright lights of different colors, so as to attract tourists' attention in the middle of the busy night. The ground is paved with red bricks near the base of the fountain, and gray bricks about five meters away from the diameter of the fountain. Benches and garbage cans are set up at the border of the gray and red pavement, all around the fountain -- light posts as well. Trees and grass encircle the fountain area and border the gray pavement about thirty meters away from the base of the fountain. Over the tree tops, if one were standing at the fountain's base, they could see a large building just beyond the trees. Carnival-like music played softly in the distance, as if some city-event was going on in a nearby district, but the waves of the fountain drowned most of the sound out. Despite the light that was being let off in the area, the cybernetic sky was brightly illuminated with many stars.

Warrior let out a loud sigh as he approached the fountain.
His head was throbbing with confusion and painful memories. He just needed sometime to rest and to rid his mind of the junk. Walking to the base of the fountain, he leaned with his hands on the paved border of the fountain -- where most people would just sit.
The noise of the crashing water was almost soothing, and a light mist from the fountain cooled his face. He looked directly into his reflection on the water. Sorrow and anguish covered his face. " ... I just wish... I understood... I just wish I knew what to do..."[/sub]
As for what was actually troubling the navi, it couldn't be said. He let out another sigh as he closed his eyes and hung his head, allowing the sound of the water to carry his mind away, deep into his past.

Xyzilentz walked over the stone sidewalks, stretching his slender body as a song played loudly in his head. He leapt over a garbage can, only to knock it down with a roundhouse kick once he had landed successfully on the other side. There was a hollow clanking sound, the can already having been emptied out for the night. It followed the slight slope in the pavement, gaining speed as it rolled until it went right past an attractive-looking young male navi, standing all alone by the spray of a fountain. Well, THAT was quite the opportunity.
He wandered over, putting full strut into his steps. He spoke, his voice coming out of the speakers on his suit to make up for the fact he was wearing his helmet. His voice was smooth and extra-sensual, partly to compensate for the fact his facial expressions couldn't be seen. "My my... why is a pretty boy like you so down, hm?" He took a seat on the fountain next to Warrior, scooting in uncomfortably close and leaning in towards him. "I'm sure I could cheer you right up, if you'd like..."

Warrior's eyes shot open at the sound of the empty garbage can falling over, and rolling down the cement. The noise echoed in his head for what seemed to be an eternity, destroying all chances of him regaining his focus and relaxing his mind again. He stared at the navi who had caused the distraction with quite displeasure, even as Xyz approached Warrior.
It was when Xyz began to scoot in that Warrior figured this navi had gotten the wrong impression of his death-stare. Anger replaced sadness, and rage buried sorrow. Warrior jerked away from the navi entirely, turning his back to him and crossing his arms as he spoke facing the opposite direction.
" I don't need your help. My problems, are my problems, and I can handle them myself."
Besides, this navi wouldn't understand anyway.... right? That was what Warrior told himself, to justify his solitude and his unwillingness to accept aid.
" And I doubt anything you plan on doing will give me the kind of 'cheering up' I need right now. Just... Leave me alone."
Arms still cross, body still turned away, and head still tilted down, Warrior held his position until the navi left. Or atleast until it seemed long enough for him to be gone. As he stood there, though, he closed his eyes and allowed his mind to sink back into the deep state of focus he held before Xyz arrived.
