“Not a fan of the ladies, huh?” Yami continuing her assertiveness after a lick of her lips, savoring the taste of her beverage and her words, “Well, to each their own.”
Regardless of his pace that distanced himself from her, there was something about the chase that excited Yami. So, she gave it! Her dress tail dragging against the street as her pumps’ audible steps communicated her close trailing behind the NetNavi. She preferred not to be the one lurking in the shadows and following; she was often on the receiving end of that matter, so she knew too well how it felt. So, instead, Yami quickened her pace, walking beside the NetNavi as she kept tilting the coffee cup to her lips every now and again.
“My manners escape me at time, mostly because people are anxious to ask me right off the bat. Thus, it skipped my mind to say that my name is Yami. May I ask your name?” she drank once more, this time, slowly and taking petite swallows before dropping the cup down to chest level.
The drink smooth, but her she hoped this conversation would go even smoother to accumulate some knowledge. She was a woman of trade afterall.

He grunts. Persistent, and now walking too fast. He doesn't increase his pace for her, lets her keep adjusting to him. It was these days that made him stay in his 1-room and watch the streets, and now he couldn't even return there. "Not a fan of talking ...And you may. Won't give it. 'nother handle to be found with." He looks at her out of the corner of his eye, again pausing with another sip before raising his glance to her face. He doesn't hesitate when they reach the end of the road. They turn off his usual path.

“I see. Pretty cold, aren’t you?”
Yami had not sipped this time. She needed to keep her mouth empty for this one. After all, just by this little walk, short phrases, and chatter she already formulated her little hypothesis. The cup was half away filled from its brim and so her arm was freer as she kept it lifted at the maw level of her mouth, but carried it in such a careless manner. With her curiosity piqued, her habit for prying at its fullest, her eyes met he glance at a half close. An individual like him in such a place so distant, she had to know.
“Are you one of those people,” her tone so dry as she inquired, “That believe there is strength in solitude...that s”

His eyes glance again. His feet keep moving. Another sip. "No. That's naïve." Too many questions. Still. He knew he was on the conversational defense, but didn't care enough to ask his own. One came to his mind... he kept it down. Better to continue being politely curt.

________________________________________________________ “Oh?” her brow lifting in slight amusement, “Interesting perspective for a local.”
She inferred, but to no real need. Yami had been quite the traveler around the net for a trade woman, so she already knew the personalities based on location. They had one small strand of logic that prevailed in almost every personality, no matter how minor. However, that still was limited, and she was not so stereotypical and shallow. Either way, she still had her idealistic notion pinned on her goal for what was like idle, flirtatious chatter to anyone else who would have tolerated her for this long.
“Nonetheless, I agree with that answer.” she continued, “I found myself to undergo quite a change after meeting a certain group. A bunch of savory characters, and they challenge me. My business operates on the notion of ‘seeking things.’ Every person wants something and everyone may come across or have something of value. Therefore, it is my job as a businesswoman to see to that every person’s desire is met by finding something…or someone…they are looking for.” Yami, announcing her business card with an elegant turn of a hand and stopped before shifting her gaze and smile once more to the stranger, “What about you? Surely, there is something you desire?”

He's stricken. He stops briefly, considers an answer. Those words work him as none of the others had, general as they were: Of course everyone had a motivation. Of course he did. He keeps walking though, indicates the gateway to the Wall network, and moves toward it without another word.<Location change: Nightmare Wall>

“Well that was an interesting expression,” she thought, as the stranger had a moment gone into the gates, “And that is an interesting location.”
Yami had been at conflict just gazing upon the gateway that led to the Nightmare Wall. Sure, she was a powerful NetNavi to some degree, but she certainly was not foolish. Her powers were nothing comparable to a towering titan in her most major effort even, and not to mention she knew of the origin of this place. She had turned the base of her cups to her lips, drinking the last of the not so steamy coffee. Her expression, bitter for once as she pressed forth following the NetNavi beyond the wall, leaving her cup to fall with a crack running from the rim to the base.

<From Wall> The wanderer wanders while living his monotonous life, seeking nothing but the streets he walks. Eventually he returns to the coffee shop and returns his cup... not a necessary gesture, but one he makes regardless. This routine he leads plows ever on, and was meticulously crafted so. He walks. The other citizens avoid him, he avoids them. He passes his apartment, but Yami's words echoing in the back of his mind... Surely there is something he desires?
The monotonous life is interrupted.
The wanderer wanders.

Ruin trudged through the Dark City as he fought off his affliction from attempting to take over. Even in a short time, as it returned, it returned with a vengeance. Vile's light being the only thing to grant Ruin a short reprieve from its whispering. Though hopefully he could take control of this power to no longer be tormented by it and use it to his own ends. If anyone were to know what to do for it, it would be this one... The town square was empty, the fountain which once supposedly spouted clear, sparkling water now spouted blood. Samhain's taste in architecture was a bit outdated, gaudy even, but he shaped this place to how it was now, so there wasn't much to do about it. Ruin awaited for the mysterious merchant to answer his call, after all, he had finally fulfilled the requirements. He was ready to fight, and Xion already had his turn. It was just unfortunate that what he needed now was far different than what he searched for before, though perhaps it was for the best, it was much clearer his purpose than before.
Then the broadcast pinged into Ruin's head. Seems he wouldn't have time for this, he would have to message the merchant later. Turning back to the coast, Ruin trudged through the city. The inhabitants still likely confused by the message.

Before even fully making it into the city the lanky creatures wings give out, returning as if they were never there to begin with and sending the tentacle plummeting into the back alleys of the city.
plop It crashes onto a roof only to roll off and clip a close line sending it flipped backwards onto one of the devilish denizens of the colony. Fortunate.
While not as demonic as as the guards the average Dark Colony citizen has a few other-worldly features. This one in-particular male model featured two small protruding horns on his forehead, sharpened points for fingers, a set of fangs and tinted red skin. While wearing a brown flat cap with a matching port rain coat and black jeans with dockers.
Ahg what is thi- Before the back alley business man can finish the wide end of the tentacle contracts and springs forward. Lunging into and tunneling down the navis mouth. Confused and scared are the last emulated emotions this being would "feel". Within a mere half a minute the navi collapses face first on the ground while pulsating an foreboding black aura that drained the source of its rich colors.
...
After a few idle minutes the denizen picks himself up off the ground. His skin now pale and cold, his clothing an ash stained black, and his eyes replaced with two yellow pupils.
The aberration begins to clumsily stagger through the main streets to test itself without a shred of self respect of its old host.

Jax [From Wreck of dunked seabound pride] Yet again the vortex churns out its host. Dropping Jax off in the main street that leads up to the castle. Tall buildings lined it and countless denizens meandered about. Oblivious to the idea that there was a civil war going on. Apathetic, just like their leader. Glancing up it wasn't hard to spot the deathball in the sky. He grunts in disgust. This is the second time in recently memory the air has been his adversary more so than the foe itself.

(From Wreck of the Seabound Pride)
A few blocks away, Nightwind materialized in a flash of blue light. He took a moment to glance around and take a few tentative steps, still unused to instant digital transportation. Several of the demonic denizens of the city gazed up into the sky at the firey cloud cover above, but they had seen such horrible sights in their home dimension that they were somewhat desensitized and so continued on their ways.
Governor Xezzukhz had reacted quickly and angrily to the attack on the ship, and had not informed Nightwind of any plans he may have had for retaliation. As such, the horse-headed warrior was left adrift, largely aimless and abandoned. After a minute or two of pondering, he decided he would need to find Advisor Xyzillentz to ask how to proceed. Unsure of where he could be, he began wandering the streets, calling out his name.
"Advisor Xyzillentz? ElecMan? Are you there?"

B.o.B. walked the streets of Dark City, having been wondering around the colony form the prison."This place reminds me of the internet of night...before Juno of course...what a weird design..." B.o.B. thought having noticed Nightwind wandering around in the middle of the street. B.o.B:"...hello..." B.o.B. said to Nightwind as it walked along, moving to keep pace next to him. "...anything interesting going on?"

*Somewhat like before, a message was broadcast then through the colony. This time the sender was obvious around the start of the message, someone that some would know and some would not.*
"Citizens of the Dark Colony, I'll save you some time and say that this is Xion, the foreigner of the Dark Dimension. When the Autumnal Assault happened I saw it as a chance to flex my muscle. But then I became the governor of the place. Now this came as a mixed blessing back then. I left you to your own devices to do as you saw fit. We stand divided because of this. So allow me to tell you of my vision for the future when the dust settles here. I won't promise that this is the vision that your Dark Lord Samhain had for you. He chose me to govern in the first place, and this is what I have chosen to do as a result."
"My goal is for you to be able to do as you please. Whenever and wherever you desire. To push beyond just this simple island that we possess. For you to no longer be just expendable forces, but a part of what has become something much larger than that. For you to lead lives that please you. Not because you're simply people that are governed by me and those assigned to my side, but because you all have become a part of a whole. A whole that will continue to grow ever more as long as we stand united instead of turning against one another as we have so far."
"So now I ask you to make your choice. Do you want to stand with me and accomplish this goal together? Or would you rather stand with Xezzukhz, a man who doesn't even know what to do with his power? As always, and as always will be, that choice is yours to make."
*And with that the connection slowly closed, leaving it up to them to decide the rest as promised.*
