Zane sighed, deciding that he may as well go and see whatever the guy was talking about. If it was plan, for the most part he figured making one was futile. This whole place seemed like a mess of misplaced and relocated areas. They would be lucky for the most part if they managed to get anywhere at all going through it, but they would get there all the same. He didn't know him, but it looked like he was about as off the wall as Embera, except she had reasons for it usually. Well, may as well find out if he was too far from the wall to talk to for an extended amount of time.
"Well, for starters, the first plan is to not shout taunts at the big bad. I saw people get blown up doing that once. I could name who they were, but I won't. What's more, what type of plan are you even making there?"

"It's quite simple really. We surround the oposing navii, delete them all at once, then go for the big guy."
Jinko smelled Xyz getting closer and instinctively covered his face with a cloth-like object that was near him.
"Now, the question is, how much longer we should wait. We could go over ther and surround them, or we could let them come over here and do our job for us."
Jinko was also preparing for any holes in this plan.
"Zane, I need you to make sure that everyone follows through. I still have something to take care of, and can you wake this guy up, so that he doesn't get deleted in his sleep?"
Jinko had been gesturing at the still sleeping Warrior.

Xyzillentz arrived on the scene just in time to watch as the war machine collapsed uselessly. One of the demons inside screamed something about the manual having been left behind in the Dark Dimension. How... anticlimactic. The rest of the battlefield was still in a state of chaos. It didn't matter for long. The entire tower disappeared, and for a moment there was nothing but empty, charred ground in its place. Then something new arrived. Something gothic, regal, and imposing. It was a castle, but not the same one that had once housed Creamland's rulers. It was bigger... gargantuan. It was taller than the Green Tempest Tower had been by far, and built from some unearthly material that seemed to be alive. It was midnight black, but not opaque; one could see an endless web of vines running underneath the surface. No, not vines. Veins. The walls and towers bled, bottomless sanguine fluid flowing out of gaping, festering sores in the structure's skin. There were few windows, and those that were there glowed a pale, sickly green as if illuminated by some unholy magic. The sound of screaming echoed out of them, covering the entire battlefield, amplified by some unseen force. And then there was the gate. At least four stories tall and just as wide. It wasn't wood or iron... it was an open arch covered by a thin, translucent membrane. Through it, a shadow was visible. A dark, looming, evil shadow. A claw ripped through the membrane. Bright red blood sprayed out of the fresh wound with incredible pressure, splattering all over the surroundings and the observers nearby. Through the opening stepped Samhain himself - 37 feet tall with the head of a jack o'lantern and a garment stitched from skin, a flame burning within his eyes. His deep, demonic voice boomed. "Nightwind... you have failed me. You have not taken action."The winged warrior flew up onto his master's shoulder. He would make him understand. Master liked him, adored him, LOVED him. He wouldn't hurt him. Never. Ever since he had been taken in as a prisoner of war centuries ago, Master had paid special attention to him. He gave him his own quarters, responsibilities. He granted him power. "My lord, you must understand... I was waiting for the right moment. It was purely strategic. I was just about to strike when you arrived." That was only part of the truth... but he couldn't bear to explain it all. He didn't dare tell his master how he was hoping to lose this colony, how he couldn't stand to be its governor, separated across dimensions from Master, the one who had cared for him, the one who loved him... "Silence. Find a festering pit and make yourself at home with the roaches." Samhain flicked Nightwind off of his shoulder like an insect, and at once the power drained from him. All the strength his dark lord had given him was taken back. He landed on his back, unconscious. "Now... is the reckoning."_________________________ BATTLE THREAD AND DETAILS HERE: raven8sp.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=storybattles&thread=7222Get to it - there's a deadline to join.

"|}3/-\T|-| |$ |-|3R3" (Death is here.)
This was the sound made as Viral Finale entered the scene with freakish glee. This was the end. This was the Finale. Nothing more left but to kill Samhain forever and ever and ever.

((Lazy Rp is lazy... But so is posting at 4:30AM >.o))
Knight comes in, seeing the situation, and promptly sprints over to the side of the battlefield facing Samhain.
Warrior gets up slowly, noticing things to be quite different... Still indecisive, he takes his stand neither for the heroes, nor for the criminals. But rather, he carves out his own future and stands alone, between the two -- fighting for neither, fighting against neither.
Wyvern follows closely behind Knight, not noticing Warrior at the moment, but more distracted by the massive giant no standing in the room.
"... Unappealing."
His draconic heart roared loudly inside of him as he dove for Samhain, attacking relentlessly.
Wave was the last to come here. Not yet noticing Warrior, he took his stand with those he found himself truly alleged to -- the heroes. With Nightwind down, atleast he wouldn't have to kiss any smelly feet anymore... But still, he had witnessed a fraction of Nightwind's power before. And he knew Samhain undoubtedly had much more, so these guys would need all the help they could get to take this one down.

*He didn't know anything about being 'loyal' where he more was just doing what he was doing to get a fight finished. He enjoyed fighting the others far more than ganging up to beat one big opponent, plus he was interrupted anyway. He couldn't say he was satisfied at all, nor did he appreciate being called a servant either.*
"Whatever... I guess we're done with all of that."
*Xyz had a new plaything, Nightwind. The guy was an arrogant one for sure, so it would be amusing at least to watch what all was done to him. The only part of it that he enjoyed was having the fact stated that he was the most powerful one on his side. It was true, all the other strong people were on their own during that fight or on the other side or just not caring at all for the whole fight.*
"I swear that my armor gets more and more marks on it from outside forces..."
*He was also putting something on it from someone. This one was too flashy, but it fit with the whole thing he guessed. Now that he thought about it, he basically brought forth a bunch of more people and ended up being their leader or governor as it was stated several times. That was more of a hassle than anything else and it most certainly would cut into business when he would get requests to do things. He would have to figure out how the place worked, keep the workers in line, and get them to not bow as much. There were much better ways to show their loyalty to a cause, but he supposed he could live with that one at least. He also had the big guy watching him too, so maybe he'd end up having him pop in again some time around this time next year.*
"You're not into politics? I despise politics and was more a leader because the others were too weak or too incompetent. Or another good one, not being present. Now I'm the guy assigned here with a castle because I wanted to fight the greater opposition? How quaint."
*Guess it did serve as another place to do stuff. They were sort of lacking entry into their usual spot for hanging out so it didn't hurt to have a backup. Plus in all honesty if people wanted to fight him for any reason they knew where he was now so it made life easier for them to find him. And easier for him to fight them when they came to him. Still, he didn't have the first idea for how to run the place, though the residents did make up for their overly obvious lack of shadier navis, even if their fighting abilities would probably mostly be untrustworthy. He wondered if Air would hold a grudge from their fight too actually? It was possible he supposed, but the guy would get over it sometime. Maybe flashing some money at him would make him feel better about it later. Or just giving him time to cool off wherever he'd show up next.*
"So secondary resident, what do you think? I'm freed up too since the guy ate Pluto more or less I guess. That sucks more than it is good actually."

Xyzillentz stood up eagerly. "It's Xyzillentz, not 'secondary resident'... though I suppose you've got the right to call me whatever you please, don't you? Speaking of... what do I call you? Your Higness? Master? Governor? I guess you can get back to me on that." He began the walk down through the aisle of colonists, motioning for Xion to follow. "If you need an aide, apprentice, or minion, I'd still be more than happy to oblige. For running the colony and... other things, perhaps."
He took a moment to gaze around at all the bowing miscreants. He knew they were technically bowing to Xion, but still... it felt GOOD. It's true he wasn't interested in politics - at least not visible politics. He'd never want to be a king or governor or public figurehead... it was much too obvious and dangerous. But as the leader of a smaller group, a criminal organization, he'd feel right at home. Being an aide to a government official was a bit out of what he'd planned, but it still felt better than becoming one himself. He had power, to a degree, and reverence, to a similar limit. And Xion was the prominent one. He wanted to keep it this way for the time being.
"And your little group seems to be... dissolved. AirMan betrayed you, the vampire girl was nowhere to be found in the final battle, and that darkloid fellow with the guitar - I am, of course, assuming he was with you - vanished before anything really started." He smiled as he gazed up at the beautifully disgusting castle. "Of course, if you wanted to start a new faction, this would be the place to do it."

[glow=white,2,500]*Beaming back in from ColdMan's network, Embera appeared in the same room as Xion and Xyzillentz. A few feet to Xion's right, actually. She crossed her arms and smirked over to the new governor of Creamland.*
Embera: So I believe congratulations are in order....Shame I never cared much for 'em, but I guess this'll have to do.
*Without another word, Embera held out her hand to shake Xion's before chuckling.*
Embera: Ya did a good job. I'd be reaping this palace too but, c'mon, how could you NOT wanna attack the big guy?[/glow]

*Xyz still was his preference over 'secondary resident' or his actual full name. Your Highness didn't fit, Governor made him think of Nightwind, the slumped over guy somewhere in this whole mess of things. And then Master... yeah, he'd get back to him about what he felt like being called. Following and not standing to stare at the bowing masses was good too, so he could live with that.*
"Whichever term you prefer for it works. But betrayal sort of ran in our systems no doubt."
*Before he could expand on that, he saw Embera again. He didn't care much for congratulations either so it was nice she kept them brief. Rather than show scorn or anything for one of the many people who filed over to the other side, he took her hand to shake instead. The place was pretty big and spacious, which meant they could do a lot of things even if it wasn't as cool as being hidden underwater and having specific codes or other things to enter.*
"Trust me, resisting the urge was pretty tough. But I liked the other targets more than the biggest one around. Not that any of you made it easy too thankfully. Out of plans yourself I take it?"
*It wasn't like there was anything going on just yet. They sort of just handled the biggest thing around, so it was up to the world to respond this time. That whole license scandal, the Stardroids and now this. He was more curious on their take on the previous two things than the most recent one that happened. They'd be disappointed for sure, but they'd get over it... give or take some years.*
"But yeah, Air had no merit with siding with Samhain, though he had none from fighting him either save for the sport of it. Purple's always bailed when the going's got tough, and Ruin usually is around for the smaller fights instead of the bigger ones. The opposite would be preferred, but whatever."
*The Chaotic was formed who knows how originally. He just didn't like the guy in charge and liked Toxin more, so it was fun working with Guitar and breaking it down. Then they got the actual group and that was fun for a while too. Then they all just got a bit disobedient when the hand that normally would smack most of them back in shape went off for a while. Thanks to that, their numbers dwindled and instead they were just rather known instead. He was all for having people that were willing to stab others in the back, it was in most of their natures anyway, but...*
"Making a faction all your own is as much of a hassle as keeping one together. I'll think about it, but I do want to see something before I even considered that."
*He had something else on his mind. He figured he had waited long enough for all of it to settle down. For doing something he considered a few times in the past but never mustered up to doing. Then again, he was immature back then and only wanted to do it over petty reasons. That wasn't to say the reason he wanted to do it now wasn't petty considering he wanted to do it just to see something now, but still. Deep down, and not worrying about admitting it to himself either, he missed the guy from time to time if only because he was one of the few people in a list of a lot of people that weren't... well, Ruin-ish.*
"That and we need them to rally a bit. The opposition I mean. More than they did this time anyway. They were way fewer in number than they used to be."

Black flames sprouted from nearby the three, before Syn stepped out, looking around slowly. His movements seemed sluggish, before gradually quickening to his normal pace, as he gazed at the assembled. He couldn't say he really knew the female Navi, the Snake one seemed pretty familiar, and Xion he could say that he actually had an idea of who he was. Which was better than being in a place where he had no idea what to do to be honest. "...You seem different Xion." The Reaper says quietly, finally noticing that a mass of people were nearby, bowing to the Navi he had just addressed.
"...And what is going on?" He didn't recall Xion being of particular noble status last time that warranted bowing. Though, considering how long his systems had been inactive, maybe more had happened that just flashed by as though it were nothing.

Jinko seemed to appear out of nowhere.
"Hope there's no hard feelings, but a navi's gotta do what a navi's gotta do. I just didn't want that guy as my leader. Well, at least it's all over. Might not have turned out the way I wanted, but I can deal. By the way, your the leader of The Chaotic, are you not?"
He held it his hand as a formal sort of greeting.
"Don't think I got the chance to properly introduce myself. The name's Jinko, pleased to meet your acquaintance. Now, if you are the leader of The Chaotic, I have my reasons for wanting to join. Do you need to hear them now? Or can i bring that up later? Please excuse me for a second, i need to say something to The Solar Emperess."
He then turned to Embera.
"Miss Embera, please excuse my rudeness before, but considering the situation, I had no time for formalities."

Sheep was ignored. Feeling lonely, he disappeared.
". . ."
Finale was back, both mentally and physically. He didn't know why or how, but didn't care to think. He stood in a room of unfamiliar navis but there was one he recognized. Embera. Without a word, he silently slinked toward Her Royal Majesty Embera, Solar Queen.

*Shortly after, AirMan appears in the room, reforming after beind fairly throughly obliterated by Samhain*
AirMan: Hmph.... it would seem that I did not make the best choice.
*AirMan then crosses his arms below the opening to his fan and looks over to Xion*
AirMan: Shame, the reward of a kingdom would have been quite impressive, I'm sure. But still, the potential changes made could become very.... lucrative. Isn't that right, mister Governor?

Xyzillentz laughed at the reappearance of all these navis. Typical, wasn't it? As the expression goes, "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em". Of course, some people were better at subtlety and tact than others. Xyzillentz slid in uncomfortably close to Xion, whispering in his ear.
"As your adviser, I'd like to point out that you'll be seeing a lot of this - fallen foes and trounced traitors looking for your favor. But this can be a detriment too; some will have bad intentions, others will be dead weight. If you ask me, we should take the girl... she's powerful and courteous, and I can respect a thrill-seeker. As long as we make ourselves out to be the underdogs against the world, she should stay on our side."
"The viral one standing next to her is fun enough to mess with but really needs to straighten out his priorities. He's looking for a purpose, from what I gather. He's gravitating towards Miss Embera... if we get her, perhaps he'll be a part of the package."
"Jinko is weak, annoying, and completely untrustworthy. We should kill him if he doesn't leave. Or before asking him to leave... either works, really."
"As for the windbag, he and I don't exactly have the best history but I know you're interested in him. He's powerful, and I must admit I respect his... assertive nature. A bit cocky, perhaps, but it seems he has a good criminal mind. He could be useful in running some of the minutiae of the governing, but we'd need to keep a very close watch on him indeed. And... I don't know who that last guy is. Seems vaguely familiar, but nothing really comes to mind."
He stepped back slightly from the new ruler of the colony, smiling devilishly. He'd been completely honest in his analyses - had no reason not to be. It would be an excellent test of his influence on Xion, however...

Jinko couldn't exactly hear everything that was said, but he did hear what was said about him.
"Hey! If anyone here's annoying, it's you! As far as being weak, I'm not as weak as I was before. Trust is really no concern of mine, I could care less about anyone trusting me. But if anyone here is the slightest bit suspicious, well, you would be describing yourself. Oh, and you might need this."
He handed Xyz what appeared to be an antiperspirant.
"Seriously man, I can barely stand it. I doubt that her solar highness finds the smell appealing. I mean, do you ever clean yourself? darn."
He would then cover the lower part of his face using his shirt.
