Another figure was there too, flames coming forth as a sign of who it was. The familiar flames and the dual swords he held, Zane taking to the field too. He could talk about this in a lot of ways, but he figured by this point that talking it through would only make things even more confusing. Sometimes, the simple approach that Genesis and the Destroyer used when they met one another helped, and this was one of those times. Unlike everyone else, he offered no words, simply getting ready himself with a sigh. He was ready for this now.

Warrior didn't make much of a reaction to the arrival of the Armored Destroyer or Airman. He'd heard alot about one of them, not so much the other, but had never had a chance to face either of them. Seeing Embera recover from Airman's attack was comforting -- surely he could make a stand against this enemy as well. Warrior drew his weapons as they shared words.
He wasn't one to talk in encounters like this. Why waste words that wouldn't matter?
But it wasn't until Genesis came that he slowly lowered his weapons -- each one being in it's handgun-form at the moment.
" Hmph... Long time.... no see..."
Mumbling to himself was just as pointless as starting these random conversations. He knew he shouldn't hesitate, as it could cost him dearly, but it just seemed strange to be fighting against someone he had considered his ally for as long as he'd known him. All paths split, eventually, though. Warrior had never been stronger than Genesis -- it caused a jealousy about him that he never quite dealt with -- but this was no time to fear the opposition. Warrior's weapons slowly shifted their shapes into large daggers as he held them to his side.
Perhaps pointless thought-sharing was in order.
" Look... I don't plan on... deleting anyone..."
"I just..."
Warrior winced at his own words and shook his head before he finished. He cleared his throat before giving his attention back to the temporary 'opposition'. What he had to say wouldn't matter anyway -- it wouldn't change a thing. So why waste the breathe?
Having not really chosen a target yet, Warrior sort of stayed toward the rear of Xion and Embera, still contemplating if he was really going to go through with this...
" My reluctancy to make this decision is.... is pathetic..."

[glow=white,2,500] *Embera saw Genesis and Zane arrive in their generally serious tone. Cracking her neck she walked up to Zane with a genuine smile on her face. She extended her arm into his direction, gesturing for a handshake.*
Embera: Looks like we're enemies this time around. I figured I'd take their side for once, see what it's like. I bear no ill will, man, but...we really can't let ya by. So, let whoever comes out be the best. No need for us to get so serious about this, but no holdin' back. We're out for blood now.
*Embera wasn't a heartless monster....totally. She didn't mind being civil, but she knew there was to be an intense fight. There's no reason to bring grudges or other forms of anger into the fight. She wanted this to be an all out battle just to see who was stronger. With a laugh, she looked back over to Warrior.*
Embera: Ya don't plan on deletin' anyone because ya can't with that power! What did I tell you about being soft? We got our instructions, so quit your complaining and do your job! [/glow]

This was why he sighed, smiling after. As crazy and spontaneous as the Solar Empress more often was than not, he couldn't just view her as some kind of perpetual enemy. Extending his own arm in her direction, taking the handshake with no ill will at all.
"I guess we are. I won't question the side you're on all things considered who I'm with now too. Let's see which of us is stronger then."
Embera could be cold, unreasonable, heartless and overall chaotic, but that were all things that made her Embera. She had more than that too, but when it came down to a fight, the civil nature lasted only until the fight began. Then it was a fight for supremacy, one that he would have to give his all in order to stay in the fight too. Besides, he knew that deep down honestly, he wanted to know the outcome of which of them would win in a fight for a while now too. Just like Embera likely wanted to now too.

As much as Xyzillentz had wanted to see Xion and action - and as satisfying as it would be to see Blowhardman deleted - he was wise enough to see this battle would pose an extreme risk to his personal safety. Xion HAD said it was his choice to stay or go... and the snakeman chose the latter option. Turning around to where the warrior shaking hands with Embera had come from, Xyzillentz saw the sprawling Castle Network. He smiled, a plan already forming in his head. In the distance he could see the castle itself through a huge hole in what had once been Pride Wall. If the heavy-hitters were here and he couldn't fight them, why not sneak up on their reinforcements? He walked through the gate into the city crawling with demons.
Location Change: Castle Network
The mob of demons reacted quickly, relying on their numbers as they were all low-level, hornless creatures. A group of several ran towards AD, claws extended.

A jewel-encrested navi burst into the Outpost, with flames being left in his wake. He took in a breath, looking around to get a good grip on their numbers, but it dawned on him that numbers may not be the prime factor in this fight...
He saw several who appeared to have joined the invaders' side. For some reason,he didn't feel any true 'hate' toward them, but he moreso felt pity for them...
Putting such thoughts aside,he knew that this was a battlefield...and being over-emotional at such a location could be the end of him...
It appeared to him that this was a 'flightless' location, with no turning back.

When Jinko loaded once more from the backup program that his operator held, he could not contain his anger. That anger drove him to the brink of insanity. His clothing was much darker than usual, and his eyes had changed from their normal green color to black.
"Well now, it would seem that things have changed quite a bit."
Not wanting to be deleted again, he noticed Xyz leaving the area and decided to follow suit.

Nightwind landed in the area, surveying the battlefield. He didn't engage anyone, instead looking around the vicinity, observing coldly. Things seemed a bit lopsided at the moment. He whistled loudly - a signal. Out of the tower came a huge war machine shaped like a jack-o-lantern, adorned with cannons and lasers and bombs. A group of demons inside controlled it, driving it out onto the edge of the battlefield. There was a quiet, high-pitched whirring sound as the weapons systems ran their warmup cycles.

Warrior watched as the war-machine came out. The odds were still stacked pretty high against them, though.
"... I'll never understand why they only built one. Especially for times like this..."
It didn't matter, though. Two would barely make much of a difference anyway, at this point. It seemed as if the tension between each side was slightly lightened from before, so Warrior unhesitantly resumed his attack stance. With one dagger held high, the other at his side in it's gun-form, he was starting to feel alot more confident about this.
Confidence wouldn't be the root of his strength, for this struggle, though. He'd have to rely on another force, for even the slightest chance of survival. Warrior tilted his head and shut his eyes as began tuning out each emotion and memory of every Navi on the scene.
Those weren't going to be of any use, shortly...

So that was the thing that was supposed to make the difference in this fight for the other side. Well, it evened the numbers out a tad bit more he supposed actually. They picked an interesting shape for it considering it was a jack-o-lantern of all things. That wouldn't deter him he supposed, taking a few steps back from Embera as the two swords of flame were drawn. Once it was taken down, they could move on to Nightwind and then Samhain. It just helped beating down the ones that could aid those two later on first honestly.

(So you guys can start fighting and stuff, no need to wait for the villains to make the first move. Please note, however, that battles will be judged on an individual basis - instead of just good side vs. evil side, it's, for example, Embera vs. AD.)

[glow=white,2,500] *Embera turned her attention back to the one that had killed Jinko. Flipping back into her serious motif, Embera leered at the navi. This look would only last a second as she flew towards him to deliver a sharp hook to his jaw. She didn't care who won the battle, so long as she could win this fight.*
Embera: It's you and me, time to see who's gonna come out on top....

Complacency would have to be a thing of the past now -- Embera had already chosen her target, and evidently Xion would choose his usual -- so it was high-time Warrior chose his own. The Armored Destroyer and Genesis would already be taken, so next in line was Zane. The other navii there would certainly serve as hinderances, but the sooner they got these higher-powered opponents out, the better there odds were of getting through this.
Warrior wasn't quite ready for the challenge, he felt rushed into it. But continuing to hesitate would cost him far more than he could afford, especially against this group. Even emotionally he was slightly unstable, so he was pretty satisfied in not having to disappoint Embera or fight Genesis -- he'd fought alongside Zane before, but had never really gotten to know that navi, so fighting against him now wouldn't be much of a regret later on.
" Me and you, huh?"
Warrior raised both weapons as he approached Zane, stopping to resume his defensive stance as he got close enough to him.
" Let's make it count, I guess."
With his front hand, Warrior opened his palm and bent his fingers a couple times, hand-motioning for Zane to take the initiative.
"... Ladies first?"
Still rather calm, Warrior gave a cocky smirk to Zane. If his sarcasm wasn't enough to get the guy's attention, then that certainly was. He still couldn't feel his fighting spirit coming on, though... He was still... missing something. "...I need to find... my rage."

Zane smirked, he got the cocky one, did he? Well, that was fine he supposed. He knew of the navi but he wasn't exactly one that he would feel as much emotion against. Besides, he was going to fight Embera full out, he may as well do the same to this one. It'd be a fair stretch of the muscles at least if he fought him first of all things.
"That's funny actually... coming from 'you' anyway."
Zane brought the swords to the ground, a path of fire tearing across the field and straight at Warrior. He had no reason to fear close quarters with him either, moving in immediately as the explosive strength he held was let off right after. Lashing out in an X-formation with the swords before he did the same in a cross formation, from it bursting forth an ankh of flames immediately after the blades were aimed to strike their victim. He probably wouldn't even need to use his primary weapon, but he may as well make his opponent burnt instead of toasty. Hesitation didn't dull his blade, but from what he could tell, it certainly dulled Warrior's right now... if he could call those weapons in his hand blades anyway.

*The destroyer didn't care about the attacks of the minions... they clawed at his armor in vain, leaving scratches but no actual damage. No move is made until Embera makes her attack. The violet Navi's blood-red eyes flash a split second before the gap closes. Without a warning, he raises one armored fist up in a fluid motion and stops the fist of the Solar Empress cold. The force between the blow and its instant stop releases a localized shock-wave, literally tearing the minions that had been clawing at the destroyer apart in a flash as he looks past the destruction, his face hard as stone as he replies to his opponent*
?: No matter what happens now....
*Suddenly, a set of energy orbs scream from out of oblivion and impact Embera's back as the destroyer remains unflinching. Anyone outside of these two would have seen that a set of four energy orbs, each approximately the size of a normal fist, had been released from the armored destroyer's shoulder-based weapons and fired behind Embera during the flash. As if responding to the very thoughts of the one who had fired them, they rushed in and struck from behind, forcing Embera forward slightly and bringing her face next to her opponent's, who then speaks directly into her ear*
?: ....you'll never understand true strength.
*The destroyer suddenly spins back and lands the sole of his right boot squarely into Embera's gut. Standing on one leg he quickly raises the leg that holds the Solar Empress and spins her around, her body held by the spike on the side of the destroyer's leg until he comes full circle, throwing his opponent back to the pumpkin in one fluid motion before crossing his arms*
?: Whatever twisted need to prove yourself you may have, it doesn't concern me. I don't need to lift a finger to defeat you; your lack of true values has already done the job. Death is a mere technicality.
*In a stark contrast to his normally relentless nature, the destroyer does not follow up after the throw. He simply stands, ignoring the rest of the battle, and looks to Embera with an accusing glare.... as if actually looking through her*
