Water splashed everywhere as Kosoku's body hit the mud and gunk on the swamp floor. His breath was heavy from overexerting his lungs as they were being crushed by Xyz, who was now a pretty good distance away from him. The maneuver had worked, but coughs between deep breaths made it apparent that the move had taken its toll. To add to his troubles, his muscles ached from the immense amount of pressure that had been applied by Xyz's more-than-friendly hug.
"darn..." he mumbled under his breath and stood, holding his left shoulder. "That one dislocated my arm. He's a lot stronger than he looks."
Through the down pouring rain, Kosoku listened intently to Xyz's observation. He was completely oblivious to what the walking snake referred to, which was apparent in his response. Raising his right hand to the sky, he pointed upwards through the rain in a triumphant pose.
"The talent of the unstoppable Kosoku exceeds even further than you think! Just as one drop of rain multiplies into many, so too does my strength in each and every passing second! My skills surpass the very gods themselves, landing on a plain of existence very few can even comprehend! Watch as even the rain weeps in joy from the glory of the grand Kosoku!"
Such bold claims couldn't be further from the truth. Kosoku was beaten and bruised, unable to fully catch his breath or even use one of his arms. Every muscle in his body seemed to drag his strength down, traveling with the rain deep into the swamp. Still, he refused to let his decreasing strength hinder his ability to fight. He would push through the pain and give this last attack everything he had. He wasn't sure if his body would be able to hold up for one more aggressive assault, but he had to try.
Kosoku could smell the foul oder of Xyz's cover, although his face simply wrinkled up in disgust from the smell. He was far enough away to not recieve the full effects of the toxic gas, but he could still feel it crippling his body. Through the foggy mess of stench, a tongue quickly whipped out to give another poisonous kiss to Kosoku. Instead of trying to avoid the attack, he allowed it to hit his armor as he grabbed it tightly with his right hand. With Xyz's mouth no doubt agape, he held his breath in anticipation of the toxic gas that spewed from his mouth. Before the situation got any worse, Kosoku gave a hard pull on Xyz's tongue in hopes to send the snake flying towards him. The mind numbing pitch of the speakers had once again rung out, but Kosoku held his ground as he yelled to try to ignore the diverse amount of crippling effects that were all occuring at once.
Accepting all of these attacks was needed for his one chance at an almost perfect opening. Xyz would be at Kosoku's mercy so long as he kept hold of his tongue, but in turn the numbing slime that covered it sapped away at his strength. All that mattered for now was that Xyz was hopefully on a collision course right for Kosoku's next attack. With his fist low, wind began to quickly rotate around his arm that kept hold of the snake's tongue. As soon as Xyz's body was close enough, Kosoku would deliver a devastating uppercut right in the gut, hoping to end the fight. However, all of his senses began to go numb, and he didn't know if his body would be able to take the relentless assault and still be able to function well enough to pull of the attack. Nevertheless, Kosoku wouldn't give up until his body broke. Everything was riding on this one punch, and he had faith in his own skills that it would work.
"UNBEATABLE PUNCH!"

Ratings:
Kosoku
Style: 28/30: Good style overall, though the overall feel seemed a bit light on both offense and defense. The overall style of Kosoku’s RP and fighting work very well overall, but I feel like he could have done a bit more.
Articulation: 20/20: Nailed it.
Balance: 20/20: In spite of version being off, you recognized the strength of an existing Navi. It was a respectable move in my estimation.
Length: 9/10: Bit short, but you got your points across.
Emotion: 10/10: The balance of showboating with internal dialog worked well.
Judge: 9/ 10: I use these points for how the two of you interact, and as such it’s a shared grade. You both did great, and the actual dialog was wonderful for the most part. My only issue is that it felt a tad disjointed in some respects and lacked a more dynamic feel at times. Near the end you guys nailed it big time, but it was a bit of a slow start.
Total, 96/100. Rank: A
Xyzillentz
Style: 30/30: No issues here. You kept to character perfectly and managed to project everyone’s favorite reptile very well.
Articulation: 20/20: Again, no issues.
Balance: 18/20: Took a bit long to take an attack in my estimation. Beyond this, it felt like you took too many attacks in stride.
Length: 10/10: Good work.
Emotion: 10/10: Everything I’d come to expect from Xyz.

Kosoku wouldn't get the chance to use his Unbeatable Punch, or even be able to keep hold of the snake's tongue. Taking on the barrage of attacks was too bold a move for him to handle, and the results would cost him the match. He fell to his knees as he dropped his arm, falling fast first into the mud. His body and mind were numb, but he still remained conscious.
There were no more boasts, nor words to be said. Kosoku had lost. His pride had been beaten to a pulp by a navi of greater skill than him. He looked up at Xyz, grimacing as he kept his words to himself.

Xyzillentz reeled his tongue back in, licking his lips as it rolled over them. The battle had come to a necessary end. He could take him back to the villagers searching for him. But would he?
No.
There was a chance with this one. Potential. That was too much to hand over to a bunch of hicks for imprisonment. He walked over to the weak, immobile body of his opponent slowly, intentionally trampling the grass as he went. Just as he arrived at his destination, he yawned and took a seat - on his fallen foe. Patting his back, he spoke in a calm, friendly voice.
"Now dear, you just stay right here, rest, and think things over. The marsh grass will hide you from your pursuers if you can crawl into it. I'm a bit bored, so I'll be taking a quick dip and going on my way. If we meet again, I invite you to approach me as an ally. You could learn a lot from me, as I think I've made clear. And besides, I'm always looking for... convertsssssss." He extended the final "s" in the word, a sweet embellishment he rarely allowed himself. Then he stood back up, removed his suit, and waded into the pond. The area was a scarred, dead wasteland by the next morning.

*With a new day's dawn, the sun rises to the view of a dead marshland, framed by once vibrant trees that are now wilted and beginning to decay. The smell of death rises above the scent of putrid slime that emanates from the swamp, but mixes even farther with the rancid odor released from Xyzillentz' very being. Fallen leaves, already brown yet not yet dry, litter the ground as a covering that the once-tall grass no longer provides. In the depths of this necrotic no-mans land, the lack of life draws a direct paralel to the sight of a forrest in the dead of winter, yet with the addition of the horrific side-effects of an absolute plague. Desolate and without cover, all is revealed in the once-tall grass....
...including something of a distinctly non-organic nature. On the far end of the pond from where Kosoku now sleeps, a semi-large machine of some form is easily visable. Laying in a rusting heap, the machine, which had obviously been there for some time, lay lifeless, almost as if it has been unlocked by some strange twist of fate; an object that, without the intervention of the previous battle, would likely never have been found.....
With Xyzillentz no longer nearby, the question falls to Kosoku; check this unknown being, or simply walk away?*

"...ugh..."
The smell of corpses and lingering fumes woke the wind warrior from his forced slumber. His whole body still ached, but he now had feeling over his limbs once again. The stench of the swamp had somehow become more intense since he passed out, yet it had seemed oddly familiar. He turned his body over and sat up, covering his nose.
"This scent is horrible! Its like the whole swamp decided to die while I napped!"
Strangely enough, the deathly aroma caused Kosoku to get up more quickly than he normally would. It didn't take him long to stand back up on his feet and look around at the damage that had been caused. The water now had a purple tint to it and was covered with several dead animals. The once tall grass was now replaced with a barren wasteland of death. The trees that were once full of marshy life were now no more than dead twigs. It was hard to imagine that this was the same place he was in yesterday, but he knew exactly what had caused this disaster.
"...that darn snake man!"
A sharp pain shot across his left arm as he tried to move it. Even though it was morning, his body hadn't fully recovered from the previous day's fight. His body still racked with pain, but he no longer tried to hide it. He held his shoulder and winced in pain, gritting his teeth together as he refrained from yelling. He might have been weak, but Kosoku was equipped with an emergency repair module that would slowly heal his injuries. It wasn't battle-ready or anything like that, but it was a useful tool to use when the rest of his body wasn't as active as normal. Activating the program, he balled his right hand into a fist before punching his shoulder.
"Oof!"
Pain shot through his body once again as he tried to relocate his shoulder. His recovery program helped lined it up just right, so he was lucky enough to fix his arm on the first try. He rotated it to make sure it worked properly, and sure enough, Kosoku was one step closer to being back at 100%.
It didn't take long for Kosoku to notice a rather large piece of machinery nearby. The rain and grass from the previous day had made it difficult to see anything, but he was pretty sure he wouldn't have seen it anyway if the weather had been perfect. Curiosity got the better of the injured fighter, and he decided to walk towards it and take a look. He avoided the water and took the long way around just to be safe. There's no telling what kinds of poisons that horrible monster put inside this lake!
The thing was rusted beyond belief. Kosoku had no idea what it was, or where it could have even come from, but he did intend to find out. Taking a long shot, Kosoku banged on the side of the machine and yelled out.
"Hey! Snake man! Is this your home or something? Come out and let's finish where we left off!"

*As Kosoku pounds on the metal heap, it remains silent; unmoving and as dead as the decaying surroundings. However, deep inside, the spark of outside interference causes a chain-reaction to take place, as power begins to flow through this being for the first time in years....
Roughly one minute after the wind-elemental pounds on the steel pile, a bright green light suddenly resonates beneath the ground, lighting the shadows with a blazing emerald tone as a low hum rises above the silence of the dead swamp. Slowly but surely, the rusted being rises. A set of steel armor gives off a dull shine in the newly risen sunlight and reveals the lanky form of an abnormally shaped Navi. Awkward in overall configuration, but fairly tall in stature. The mechanical being wobbles for a moment before turning to Kosoku, its eyes, or rather the screen that displays its eyes, cracked in multiple areas, yet still revealing an emerald blaze of outright anger....*
?: ...you think...
*The being raises both arms level with its body and glares on to Kosoku, his perception of the situation obviously skewed due to the raw anger that rolls off of his very being like smoke from a torch*
?: that I'm.... done...?
*With an eruption of rage and chaotic force, the unknown Navi releases a blazing tower of flames across his form and into the sky, burning the dead grass around him and igniting the swamp gasses to the point of causing an explosion to erupt outward in a flash. In an instant, the entire swamp is set ablaze by this unknown Navi, with the death and decay from the swamp now acting as fuel as the surface of the water burns due to the dead organic matter. Yet, above it all, the cracked visor with blazing green eyes still shine through the infernal chaos, looking to Kosoku with one goal; absolute and total destruction*

Kosoku's call was answered by a shimmering green light that rose from the pile of metal. It was indeed a sight to behold, something that the proud Navi wished he could do on his own when introducing himself. He grinned, impressed at the magnificent introduction that the light offered. It was a little odd that something as stunning as this would come from that horrible snake monster, but Kosoku knew when to respect true glory when he saw it.
"At last!" he yelled out, still under the impression that the rising figure was Xyz. "You will stand no chance against me this time, villain! The cries of this swamp will fuel my actions, pushing my talents beyond that of even the heavens! I will avenge this fallen land in the name of the Northern Wind!"
Kosoku's empty threats would not fall on their intended ears. The figure before him was drastically different from the snake man, both in shape and age. He was much taller than Xyz, and was a lot more robotic than most Navis he had seen. It was apparent that he was from a different generation of Navis, a generation that far exceeded this time. He was powerful and intimidating, that much was certain, but that was not Kosoku's concern.
"...Huh? What is this? This thing is just a walking pile of trash!"
The area was soon covered in flames as the Navi unleashed its rage. The pillar of fire that sparked from its body set everything ablaze. Fire danced around Kosoku's feet as it ravaged what was left of the swamp. Things were certainly starting to HEAT UP, but the situation only made Kosoku BOIL in anticipation. He was OUT OF THE FRYING PAN, but he had somehow landed himself into an OVEN of swamp gas. He was FEVERISH with excitement.
"You certainly have an amazing amount of strength, but you are still an imperfect Navi compared to me! Your armor has rusted, your mind has been ignited with the fires of rage, and your body is that of a match. My perfect body, my shimmering green armor, and my cunning mind will redeem this land from the fires of hell. For I am the unburnable Kosoku! I walk through the flame and feel not its heat! I touch the live embers as though I touch the dirt! And I will snuff you out as though you were no more than a match in my hand!"
The fires that Napalman gave off were intense. Kosoku was already beginning to sweat from the heat, but such a small obstacle would not hinder his fighting. It was needless to say that Kosoku would have a hard time backing up his claims, but it was unlike the overconfident Navi to show any signs of weakness. All around his body, wind began to spin into a small cyclone. It wasn't really an impressive amount of wind, but it was enough to fan the flames around him a safe distance away. He kept his confident smirk as he charged himself up for his first strike.

Xyzilentz had been a fair distance away when he heard the explosion from the swamp. After his midnight swim, he'd happened to wander into the village from which Kosoku had been running. Seeing the direction he was coming from, the villagers had asked him all about this strange, boastful little navi who had run through their village and attempted to use their sacred totem as a hat to "supplement his mighty armor of justice".
Taking advantage of his reptilian appearance, he had explained that he was, in fact, the mighty swamp spirit, arriving in the village because he had sensed the desecration of this sacred artifact and been disturbed from his peace. The rational-thinking villagers, naturally, chose to appease him with a great feast, a festival of song and dance, and the constant accompaniment of several strong, well-built guards in skimpy tribal garb (which was, naturally, his favorite part).
Just as he was becoming used to the accommodations and had decided to stay another day or two, the explosion had rattled the village and sent his worshipers scrambling, warning him of the attack on his "sacred land" and imploring him to go off to defend it. Realizing he might be exposed as a fraud if he didn't investigate, he agreed. Several warriors offered to come with him, but he declined them all. He considered taking the ugly one, since he would be no great loss and could serve as a shield in the event of a confrontation, but he suspected that somehow, Kosoku the Klutz was behind this. He still had an interest in the navi and didn't particularly want these villagers executing him. Besides, more people would only complicate matters.
He arrived at the blazing swamp to see Kosoku the Deluded facing off against some type of giant, fire-spewing machine. His first thought was what the hell is that thing doing here? It was quickly replaced by oh well, I suppose saving this idiot from himself might help me win him over. Sneaking up behind the hulking mechanical navi, Xyzillentz unleashed a large quantity of his acid breath on the arsonist's arse.

*As the wind from Kosoku swirls around the area, the storming bomber stands steadfast, his feet planted in the golden flames that roar in fury and continue to engulf all that could possibly feed the chaos. The rage in the military Navi's eyes remains steadfast through his opponent's show-boating, not an ounce of worry to be seen. However, something far more dangerous was obvious by this point; the battle at hand was being taken in absolute seriousness by the Storming Bomber, and the destructive Navi's intent is mono-focused; the death of his target.
Xyzilentz's move, while nowhere near expected by the Storming Bomber, was itself met with something that could be considered somewhat unexpected: as the acid nears NapalmMan's lower armor, a metal pole suddenly extends upward from the ground and unfolds, revealing itself to be an entirely independent machine-gun. The gun, roughly the same size as one of NapalmMan's arm-cannons, blocks the acid like a shield and unleashes a torrent of bullets at the serpentine terror, drawing NapalmMan's attention and causing a burning-green eye to lock onto the newcomer.
With one swift move, NapalmMan engulfs himself in flames and fades into the wall of fire, reappearing on the opposing side of the swamp, roughly 10 yards from his targets*
NapalmMan: It doesn't matter how many of you there are....
*NapalmMan raises both cannons level with his foes, glaring through the crimson lights and black clouds that erupt across the field*
NapalmMan: .....or how powerful you think you are....
*With an explosive torrent of sound and fury, NapalmMan unleashes a spray of bullets from both of his cannons, peppering the entire field with lead as he pays no mind to the locations of his opponents, rather attempting to blanket the entire area. The ground itself seems to explode in waves as the bullets fly, covering the swamp almost entirely before the Storming Bomber quickly rears back both cannons and begins lobbing a set of small, bright red bombs, once again using a blanket-technique to scorch the earth. The bombs, some aimed at the two Navis, and many more lobbed randomly, explode across the area, rocking the network as each one flares into a tower of crimson flames that even farther covers the already burning ground, making it highly difficult to stand anywhere without being seared by the chemical flames fueled by jellied propane, burning deep and refusing to stop. However, over the destructive laugh of the roaring flames, the sound of a deep rumble resounds and a golden flash of light burns brighter than the rest of the flames.
Burning with a light that could rival the brightest star, an orb of super-heated flame manifests itself at the end of NapalmMan's cannon, his firey green eyes glaring past it with absolute resolve*
NapalmMan: ....I OFFER YOU NO ESCAPE SAVE DEATH!
*With a step forward, NapalmMan slashes his cannon forward and across like a sword, releasing the white orb into a massive flame-thrower that instantly blankets the entire area, both literally and figuratively scorching the earth. He then takes another lunge forward, performing the same motion with his second cannon, blasting the infernal heat far-and-wide with an ear-splitting roar and a blinding flash. With this show of raw power manifest, any remaining ground to stand on becomes so throughly engulfed in flame that it becomes impossible to escape. The flames, now entirely unavoidable in nature, wreak havoc both with the searing pain and the smoke that rises above it all. The battlefield is now little more than an inferno, as the Storming Bomber looks on with a burning passion for absolute destruction*

"W-What are YOU doing here?!"
Kosoku was both surprised and insulted that Xyz had come to help. He had thought the snakeman was long gone by this point, but here he was providing back up to the unprepared warrior. There wouldn't be any time for chit-chat before Napalmman masked himself in a wall of flames, further increasing the fire's intensity all around them.
Before Kosoku had any time to search through the burning swamp for his opponent, bullets dotted the landscape in an ocean of metal. With little time to react, Kosoku jumped down and hoped that the majority of the attack would pass right over him. The sound of burning earth and of metallic gun fire made it an almost deafening experience. He couldn't do much about the bullets that did manage to find him, but it was a lot better than being a walking target. Grinding his teeth together to push back the pain of gunfire, Kosoku did what he could to find out where the bullets were coming from. He desperately needed to close the gap between himself and Napalmman, otherwise this was going to be a very one sided fight.
As soon as the blanket of bullets stopped, Kosoku immediately scrambled to his feet before giving a mighty kick into the air. He released the air pressure he had gathered around himself, sending a highly concentrated wave of air towards the Ballistic Bomber. The attack wouldn't hit its mark, passing a few feet from where Napalmman stood, but it did push the fire back enough for him to see a path towards the Navi.
"Found you!"
Fearless as always, Kosoku pushed through the fire as the area was covered in mortars. The fires were becoming unbearably intense at this point, but Kosoku's superior speed allowed him to quickly get to the edge of the lake that separated the fighters. In an instant the wind warrior vanished, leaving an after image of himself on the side of the lake and in the middle as well. It looked as if he was running across water, acting as the wind itself. That was the power of God's Illusion: a power that allowed him to appear as though he could defy reality. He might have had to strain his body to use its power twice, but the end results would hopefully be worth it.
Kosoku now stood to Napalmman's left, his fist reared back in preparation of a counter attack. He was already emitting an incredible heat that shone with a blinding light, but that didn't stop Kosoku's resolve. Wind quickly generated itself around his prepared first before he punched at the ancient Navi's side. An incredible force was exerted from the punch: a force that could be compared to the strength of a tornado. Compressed air was pushed out at Napalmman in an attempt to knock him off of his feet as Kosoku delivered his Unbeatable Punch.
