FreeStyle! 1 Intro post for both parties. 3 Battle posts.
[Intro] It was a beautiful day on the beaches of bayside city. The sun was shining and a warm wind was blowing. Finale was laying asleep very close to where the waves would splash, but far enough away to stay dry. He was dressed normally, white skintight suit with black gloves and socks, with the only exception being that he was wearing yellow swim trunks decorated with tiny cartoon palm trees outside his skintight suit. Yes, Finale is quite the odd fellow.

Remnant was strolling by when he caught sight of a familiar navi. He'd seen this guy before -- at the mouth of a volcano. Small world, catching him alone again. Remnant approached him -- his shadow blocking the sun in Finale's eyes and waking him up to Remnant standing ove him, hand stretched out to help him to his feet.
" Been a while... Remember me?"

Finale opened his eyes very slowly and then suddenly they shot open faster then a fishy virus. Some figure that Finale did recognize was standing above him, but Finale in his panic and with his eyes slowly adjusting backflipped and knocked Remnant square on the head... Just as Finale realized it was Remnant he knocked squarely on the head.
Finale:... err uh oops. Sorry 'bout that there Remnant, I didn't realize that you were... well you.
Finale looked at his sword then at Remnant, and had an idea, since the sword was out why wouldn't he spar with Remnant? he needed the experience and Remnant probably needed it too.
Finale: Hey Remnant! I'll give you five seconds then you gotta fight me! Not to the ONE! death of course though...
Finale: Then again it sure TWO! has been along time since I last fought.
Finale: Maybe I shouldn't fight someone with THREE! times the experience that I have...
Finale: But since this is just FOUR! Fun...
Finale: Ready or not here I come!
So Finale quickly leaped behind Remnant, and let off a couple waves of air for him to dodge in the process.

Remnant shrugged his shoulders after wiping off the sand in his face from the kick and shaking the rest out of his hair.
Before he even had the chance to reply, Finale had caught him offguard and struck him with air-waves -- the wind from the attacks picked up the sand on the beach and caused it to cut Remnant, making it sting all the worse. When the sand and dust cleared out, Remnant stood their with arms high, crossed over the front of his boy as if he had just finished blocking the attack.
The sand froze in the air around him like a bubble -- then sunk around the invisible circular barrier and fell to the ground, leaving Remnant virtually unscratched.
" Fancy stuff. Clearly I have no choice in taking you on, but I agree -- let's not get too brutal with this."
Remnant had a few new tricks since their last encounter. Like a rocket, he lifted up from the ground and made a huge leap in the air -- reaching a hundred feet in less than a second. Seeing FInale down below, Remnant threw his sword down to stab itself in the ground next to Finale -- not intending to actually hit him. The sword was glowing with it's signature bright white light while it fell, so it traced out a Remnant Slash behind it in its wake from the point of the throw all the way down to the tip of the blade that was now stuck in the ground.
Remnant screamed down do Finale -- they were just sparring, so why not make this a friendly fight? Friends talk, right?
" So! What'cha been up to lately?!"[/color]
Not done yet -- in fact, not even started, Remnant grabs his end of the Remnant Slash and grinds down the rest of it -- peeling it off of the thin air like a sticker as he approached the bottom at a speed rivaling his ascent. When he reached ground level, Remnant yanked the end he had been holding onto -- the entire Remnant Slash acting like a massive whip and lashing down onto the spot where Finale was standing.
Not the easiest weapon to dodge -- especially since this one was made of the purest of light and about a hundred feet long. As the massive whip slammed onto the sand, a huge dust cloud hid it from vision and spread throughout about a twenty yard radius. When the tip of the whip touched down, the entire weapon vanished in a bright white flash that pushed all of the floating sand and dust away, clearing the air again. The flash itself caused pretty minor damage -- not much more than a sunburn would result from it.
Remnant grinned at the successful attempt of his new technique, and dislodged his sword from the ground to lean on it while waiting on Finale's reaction... and his response.
