*The winds of change now blow in the Overlord's favor once again as the destroyer, still crippled by the raw power expended by his previous strike, stays on one knee. The rain of blades fall across the form of Pluto even as the zeal of this brutal Navi flares within his heart, pushing him even farther, forcing him to continue. With one final thrust of his vast energy, the destroyer releases the full force of his power into the giant orb, causing it to turn into a solid black energy globe encased in crimson energy*
?: IT'S TIME TO FINISH THIS!!!!!
*With the globe of energy now free of the destroyer's grip, the brutal Navi blasts skyward in an instant, piercing into the center of the negative sun with a flash. The entire scene remains unchanged for a split second, untill the entire thing suddenly begins to erupt into a veil of light and sound, engulfing the entire area in an instant before dying down.....
Now flying where the center of the sun once was, the Armored Destroyer now stands alone, his entire body surging with crimson energy of such massive power that it rocks his very core to the bone. The Armored Destroyer now holds his position, the rifle-like cannon extended from his arm pointed directly at Genesis with one final revelation; he had absorbed the entire sphere of energy into himself and was now using it, combined with his own boosted power, as a single bullet; a bullet aimed at the head of the Onyx Overlord*

*The power of his own attack poised to be used against him, huh? Being combined with the strength of the Armored Destroyer, in mostly all cases it would be a dangerously lethal combination. It still was in fact, but it was time to test the true extent of what came from the sun of otherworldly strength. Oddly enough, the Onyx Overlord seemed to have gotten vastly stronger than he was before, more of the swords forming around himself as they started to form into formation. That wasn't the only thing though, Fate coming down and landing in his hand, covered in a golden aura before it turned silver, then having both sheens of colors to it. It would take more than just sheer power to handle the bullet that was going to be fired. If that was all, things would look simple yet bleak.*
"I'll keep your words in my mind, old friend. Here I go!"
*Genesis placed both hands on the hilt of Fate, the symbols of the sword fading as the black blade could be seen even through the aura, no light reflecting from the blade. The Negative Gate formed around the area again, beginning to swell up instead as it all came to a grinding halt as a black sort of aura around Genesis. It looked like it lacked any kind of defensive ability, but it was there for something. It came time to make the stand now, the Chaotic Corona being the first to fire off, unleashing another blast, stronger than before aimed and converging at the Armored Destroyer all at once from all directions.*
"I couldn't agree with you more for once."
*There were three techniques he had to unleash now: the last keys to the thing that he can do now. Nine strikes were sent forth from his sword, swirling into a spiral as the three attacks circled Genesis himself, now charging straight in toward the Armored Destroyer prepared for the situation. Do or die, he'll have put everything on the line in this next strike, aiming to bear his sword down directly upon the Armored Destroyer, all of strength aimed to finish this all at once.*

*The swords rained down and slashed with hellacious power, tearing apart the very fabric of the destroyer's reality as he stands poised in place, even as Genesis draws near. The damage no longer mattered, the pain was little more than a catalyst of rage, enabling greater capabilities, as the destroyer faces off against Genesis one final time. As Genesis makes his final aproach, the destroyer suddenly retracts the barrel of his weapon, thrusting a hand forward with crimson energy and gripping through the manifest power of the entire ordeal for one final move.
As the final blow of Fate comes in, the Armored Destroyer catches the blade of the fabled sword in the palm of his hand.
The battered Navi looks past Fate, his bleeding palm dripping on his face as he looks on from a lowered position, a bleeding smile breaking the silence*
?: .....thank you.... for making sure I couldn't miss.
*The reality of the situation flashes in a moment of knowledge learned too late. The surging power within the destroyer suddenly erupts as the negative-sun re-forms, with Genesis and the brutal Navi locked in battle at the epicenter. Both Navis are torn apart by the raw energy manifest as the destroyer screams against the pain, forcing himself forward and gripping the Onyx Overlord by the throat for one final word*
?: .....no matter what you do.....
*The blood from the destroyer's hand pours down Genesis' neck, evaporating within seconds from the raw energy released*
?: .....no matter how much you train.....
*The destroyer's armor begins to crack and shatter slowly, the raw energy of the reverse-sun beginning to take a genuine toll*
?: .....I will always be here to remind you.....
*Pulling Genesis close with the last of his strength, the destroyer's crimson eyes break the light and look into the Onyx Overlord's very soul, the raw rage manifest revealing itself with crushing power and the realization of absolute pain that both Navis now experience*
?: ....that you will always fail in the end.
*The orb explodes at last, sending both combatants flying like falling stars to opposing sides of the network, beaten to the point of deletion with ease. The shockwave of the blast races out in all directions before the two Navis, knocking down a massive area of the forrest below and causing incalcuable damage as the combined power of Genesis and the Armored Destroyer blankets the field like thunder, destroying all in its wake....*

*Having taken the brusque of the damage from Genesis' attack and The Armored Destroyer breaking him to the point of deletion, Pluto could see that both of these navis were above his caliber together. Fleeing the area from tree to tree, He barely escapes before the blast goes off....He needed to tell Terra of his findings.*

About to die again? This just couldn't be right... But as he was about to escape, Ash caught glance of Pluto making a run for it as well.
" There you are..."[/sub][/color]
And opportunity not worth missing -- the only reason he was back was to find and get revenge on that navi. Chasing him out of the area behind the blast, Ash kept about a half a mile distance between himself and Pluto so as to go unnoticed.

*As the blade of Fate was caught by the Destroyer, Genesis' own eyes gaze directly into his own with no change from before. Their gaze remain as steeled as before, but had regained a certain calm to them now unlike before. Genesis in turn, smiled to the Armored Destroyer's own words, speaking beneath his breath then in a whisper.*
"....just this."
*His words were low, and soon enough were overshadowed by the roaring realization of the umbra sun that now tore apart the two fighters were rested at its core. Genesis grit his teeth, trying to resist the urge to cry out from the constant damage that was blasting through the entirety of his building. Still, the smile remained in a somewhat warped way at this point, even up until the point that he was gripped by the Destroyer's hand by the throat, again the whisper coming forth, but more clearly now as Fate disappeared from his own hand.*
"Not just this..."
*Not able to resist the forces any longer, Genesis finally let out his own scream from the pain that was building over the damage. Again his gritted his teeth and bared it, the smile no longer there as he did his best to keep his eyes level with the piercing eyes of the very thing that stood as possibly his greatest impediment. Someone who was a sworn enemy, a constant foe, and a constant reminder. It was a good reminder, the reason behind his smile in fact even.*
"Next time, not just this. Everything."
*He had finally managed to complete what he was trying to say. Even he knew he couldn't take this sort of attack and manage to come out of it still able to go. Even though he had just recovered, he was probably about to be damaged to the point of near-annihilation. But that was just it: it was to the point of 'near-annihilation'. It was the full thing, and that was what he was going for. The next time they fought would be the point where they would give everything: that which they had, that which they didn't, EVERYTHING would be put up to witness. The raw rage of the Destroyer wasn't something that felt nice having it to gaze right into your very being, to stare dead at you and burn away everything until it saw the true point of the one who stood in its gaze. But it was something that he didn't exactly shun either, a gaze that stood tethering on the edges of good and bad on the line of neutrality. Even in this destruction, the Armored Destroyer still held on to his strength in his last clutching moments, something to be respected in one's enemy no matter how sworn they may be. Just the final exchange left before the final meltdown of the attack came to a head, huh?*
"I'll be waiting for you then...to 'remind' me. Otherwise....I'll just....forget again."
*There was no time for smirks or anything else, simply the words that each had given to one another. A promise from the Armored Destroyer: the one who declared he would always be that one reminder that he will always fail in the end. His own promise? Well, it was unclear at the time honestly. Not like he had the time to think about that either, his own thoughts going into total darkness as the orb explodes in its final glory-filled moment. The new armor and cloak that Genesis bore were rent apart instantly as he was sent hurtling across the network in an opposite side of the Destroyer, not able to see or hear, simply to sink into the darkness for a time. Who knew how long of a time that would be though? Like a star, the Onyx Overlord continued soaring until he crashed down in an explosion of thunder that raged outward across the network. In the dust and the smoke, he laid in place, hair covering his eyes and a tattered cloak over his body. The armor he bore was cracked all over, his own body broken and bloodied all over as he laid motionless still. The fight over for a time...but only for just that: a time. He had his methods, his reasons, his convictions and his goals. And he had the violet navi as a target in the end that would constantly be there until one stood, and one fell. When or where this fight would happen, was hard to say for now. But it would....and that was all.*

With his crimson cloak laying battered over him. The feathers about the cloak began to shine. Phenoix's data, though having taken a similar beating to Genesis having been fused with his for a time, was beginning to repair itself once more. His cloak began to reform, the feathers facilitating its repair. Once fully restored, it covered Genesis's body, shining brightly as it began to repair Genesis as well. The cloak glowed with a great solar energy, its warmth calmed Genesis, as his wounds began to close and the bleeding stopped. His armor was being repaired as well, in total Phenoix was completely restoring his fallen comrade to his normal state of power. Some time passed, a decent amount in fact, as the healing job was very complex and required some time to perform. Though sure enough, the job was completed. A small amount of Genesis's cloak then came off of if, as if it was produced by the cloak. It floated up, having on it all the feathers that were once part of his cloak during the battle. The feathers then floated up and multiplied dramatically to form an egg shape. Inside where a bright light was welling up. As the light grew brighter, so did the brightness of the feathers. After a time, the light then dimmed, and the feathers began to float away, starting from the top, and slowly going down to the bottom. The feathers that blew away only did so for a short time, before disappearing into nothingness. From the egg Phenoix emerged, brand new, but with something added. Covering his right arm which was gone, lost to power his own abilities, was a piece of Genesis's crimson cloak. Showing even then a physical bond between the two. Additionally, Phenoix had left a slight golden fringe about Genesis's cloak, a memento of his data merging with Genesis. He looked to Genesis who was still on the ground, and extended his hand to him, smiling.
"You have a lot of explaining to do."

*The black abyss...it was more or less the place where he was in his subconscious. He was here now after having another fight with the Armored Destroyer, and it was here that his thoughts wandered to various things. He had obtained something from the fight, an 'answer' honestly. But whether or not it was understood wasn't particularly known as he approached the light that seemed to keep growing brighter. That was his consciousness coming back, and more or less meant that someone had--*
"Yeah...there it is."
*The recognizable flicker of golden that he could see through presently blurred vision. There was a difference now though as he allowed himself to fully recollect himself after everything. He had plenty of things running through his mind now, and though none of them were about explaining, he figured that they wouldn't get much of anywhere with how outdated his friend was. He looked around first, noticing the golden fringe on his cloak after he had finally came to terms that something felt different, a small smile coming to his face as he took Phenoix's hand and pulled himself up.*
"I need to carry painkillers or something with how often I find myself banged up or in a crater. That was the Armored Destroyer, an enemy to everyone but whoever he may have ties with and a personal enemy of mine. As for what happened on other terms, first came the license. When it first came about I was handling personal business with Xion and Twilight, but afterward I immediately rendezvoused with the Doctor, Psyche, and formed the Revolution once every legit attempt to stop it was denied. Branded as outlaws and criminals, there were others who agreed and we became what we are. Admittedly, not everyone is as good or righteous or whatever term you might want to put for it, but they're here at the time."
*That was just what had led to the Revolution. There had been battles between it all too and eventually leading up to what was here now. He figured that Phenoix wasn't entirely interested in all the fights and their details from the start to the finish, but then he figured that if he skipped details and they came up later, the winged navi would still be in the dark. So after taking a pause for a time, he proceeded to continue.*
"At the Melee Stadium, we got into a rather big brawl with Zero and the Armored Destroyer before running into the ONB. Gate interrupted that with the Shadow Devil, what the ONB's now Dark Moon is based off of. However they lack the talents of Gate, so it isn't on par with its force. The base we obtained in the end had a fight with the Destroyer happen outside of it, and after that fight we ended up being manipulated by the Black Diamond, Caliga. Because of that, this happened to Fate."
*He wasn't certain if Phenoix had noticed it yet or not, but Genesis had Fate appear all the same. The blade now having one of Caliga's cords around the hilt of the blade tightly, the hilt now a dark golden with a black trim while the blade no longer reflected light, a solid black with dark crimson symbols over the blade. The center of the hilt holding an onyx black diamond: the mark of Caliga himself.*
"I need to find him again to get his curse released from her despite the risks. Afterward we began a search for a recluse scientist who had something that could tilt the scales of either side at Saul Kada Village. Another major fight with the ONB happened, and in the end Zero, MagicMan and Scarface stole the scene. Luckily, the scientist wasn't there. Not too long after that I got caught up with another of the ONB, though not an entirely direct one at that with Zane. After that things took a turn for the worst, and most of us went into the shadows. The bright side is no one had been caught during the time. The other is that we are where we are now still. That navi from before that appeared during my fight with the Destroyer, Pluto...he's likely aligned with Terra from his own words. He was careless this time because he assumed things, but I doubt he'll be as careless next time. If nothing else, I wasn't ambushed thanks to you getting my head cleared up some."
*That didn't mean that Pluto couldn't do some harm if he came back again. He was strong of course, but all of their enemies were. Was he able to blow up everything as they knew it? Not exactly. Sometimes he wondered why they fought Eon and stopped Forte, but for Eon it was because they had wanted to live with everything they had. It was a tragic fight honestly, but Forte would've saved them some trouble by handling humanity if they let him go. Still, he supposed thinking on that choice and regretting it wasn't an option now. He had faith in them then, so he had to see how that would go now.*
"Staying here would be counterproductive, and I'd hate to leave Iscon stranded in the mountain. In my own blind rage, I fought all out and the mountain and the network here was ravaged by our own colliding forces. For once, I'm not certain on if I can win or not. For now though, let's get to work. Once that's done we can see if we can't find the others and if they haven't thought of any effective plans yet."

Phenoix nodded as Genesis finally explained the situation to him in detail. It would seem he missed quite a bit in his time away. No matter, he would have to act with his friend now more than ever. With new-found determination, he set his mind to the task at hand. Iscon was very true a good navi to offer help to the two renegades. They would have to help him out to repay him for his kindness.
"Alright, I think I get it for the most part. In any case, yes. Lets go help Iscon. It's the least we can do after what he did for us."
With that, Phenoix beat his wings but once, bringing himself up into the air, and with a few more flaps, he began to soar over to the mountain they so utterly destroyed in their last battle.

"Alright then."
*Genesis looked back to the area where he had not long ago fought the Destroyer. Thoughts on that aside, Genesis lifted off the ground too before he went off to follow Phenoix. After all, they would have to pretty much dig up a large sum of the broken mountain to get inside where Iscon's home was. Most of the work had come from the Armored Destroyer, but he couldn't say that he had no part in it either since the Destroyer had just started it. He had added to it with his own destructive prowess himself. Hopefully Iscon wouldn't be too upset about what had happened there.*

A dark, deep, booming voice filled the air.
"Residents of Earth's Net. This is to inform you that as of today, you have a new world power. I am Lord Samhain of the Dark Dimension, and since I've gotten your attention, I'm going to explain a few things to you."
"My dimension is a glorious place where evil and darkness rule, demons run free through nightmarish streets, and all that I say is law. But I've always longed for more - and luckily for me, centuries ago I discovered an incredible power. Once a year, during the most unholy of seasons, I have the ability to enter the Net Worlds of other dimensions for a certain amount of time. Soon I discovered I could bring a small scouting army with me, and no one would stand in our way. Within five years, my glorious rule had extended to five interdimensional colonies. I assume you can see where this is going."
"I have captured your dimension's kingdom of Creamland and made it my colony, changing it to suit my preferences. Those silly ONB enforcers are gone. The populace and former rulers of Creamland are imprisoned. And my scouting army has overrun the island. Truly, it is a sight to behold."
"On Halloween at midnight, I will be returned to my own world - sucked through a mighty interdimensional portal. But that portal's immense surge of power will seal my curse and make what you called Creamland my 666th colony - forever. In my absence, the mighty general Nightwind shall rule as governor - and I can assure you that any foreign hostility will be swiftly and brutally dealt with."
"But a colony is useless without subjects to rule. As such, this message is an invitation - those with darkness in their hearts, sin in their souls, and murder on their minds will find a perfect home here. Come to me, my subjects, and you shall live a life of eternal evil as you have always wished. The former Creamland natives will make excellent victims, of course. And if you serve me well... there may be certain rewards in store."
"Should you hear this message and wish to play the hero, heed this warning: I have been conquering lands far better-guarded than this one for lifetimes, and never have I been defeated. To wander into my colonies without iniquitous intentions is to forfeit your life, your freedom, and your very soul."
"This is my season. This is my plan. And your world is the lucky target of my latest Autumnal Assault."
As the voice faded, a portal opened - on the other side, the hellish, twisted landscape of what used to be Pride Park.

Deep within the pines, through endless drifts and twisting trails well past the limit of where such places are cleared of obstruction and in an under-canopy clearing well covered from above, a navi stands knee deep in the day's snowfall. Behind, a greasy black rift stands yawning open to an unknown place, and as the character turns to look back into it, it closes as if to spite him.
"One ****ing thing... after another. Huh... Thought I stopped... owing them. ...At least they'll... owe me this time."
Where the portal was only stands a giant pine. He kicks it, crosses his arms, trudges away through the drifts grumbling to himself. The tree's needles begin to fall, yellowed and dead.

“I’m just too nosy for my own good!” _______________________________
Gooey pink had met with the white wonderland, and like liquid, it made the snow melt upon instant touch.
It had nothing to do with absorption, but snow was such a fragile thing, and under the weight of any element, it would be crunched or reduced to liquid. It was all so fickle, and to the pink blob girl, it was irrelevant as she simply watched the snow perish by a simple touch. Her eyes were as cold as the crisp tundra as she stepped on through Sharo’s cold lands. Her eyes looking for a pair of another, and her mind set on the little assignment the Net Operator-wannabe had given her.
“That sure was a strange post on the BBS, Nu-chan,” the gentle voice coming from a motion trailing video screen by the pink figure, “...I wonder what we’ll find out here. Maybe we can check to see if anyone is in danger!”
Now, Nu did not give an icky remains of dog food that was expelled out of a mutt’s rear-end about someone being in danger, but she did like a good mystery! Mystery on the internet met there was most likely something abnormal! Abnormality posted a possibility of interesting data, and it was interesting data that further pressed her hunger. The bug-girl liked nothing more than to absorb massive amounts of data that would inflate her petite body back to its glorious form. It was ever since she ran into this girl and her weird “brother” that caused her to be reduced to a child-like form. She was not the massive well curvy and filled out form she was before, but she looked like a six-year old cutie!
It was humiliating!
Regardless, that did not stop Nu from trying to be the glutton she felt she was destined to be: to absorb all data and become a super being that was beyond comprehension, and it just happened that the little girl’s curiosity about the world matched her own. Sure, she had to go about her mission a different way, but she still felt that she would get what she wanted in the end. So, trekking through the woods, she had kept an eye out, ignoring the nearby NetNavis and simplistic life in the area considering they were nothing special and looked for this “phenomenon” that her little annoying friend was so worried about.

Deeper the toxic Harbinger went, through more and more thickly forested foothills, denser undergrowth; wilder terrain than he'd known existed on the net. The recreation from 5 (6 years earlier now?) had done well on that front. The trail itself had disappeared over a mile ago, and all that was left to follow was... nothing, really. Instinct and some scant directions. Operator was too... "busy". Scanning some bug or another, analyzing the data content for an employer, then either compiling a new code or naturalizing Toxin's own current (probably both) while maintaining that there was no time to bring up the monitor for navigation. Wasn't he the navigator anyway? The meaning had changed over centuries, or at least forked. Similar to that last fork in what remained of the trail.
Meanwhile, Toxin's mind segued into more rambling thoughts even as he watched the door approach through the trees as he put one foot in front of the other, leaving tracks as obtrusive as the navi himself. He looked up at it, unimpressed. Grumbled again. Entered.
The Sharonians sure knew how to hide a barrow... but the tingling was unmistakably like the signature M had given him. The closer he'd gotten, the more sure he was. But why here...?
