*As the Navi duo makes their way down the mountain, another Navi makes his way up, deagging a large, steel cart behind him. Not noticing the others, he quietly makes his way to the peak, moving silently due to his every step crunching through the snow and ice being muffled by the blowing winds of the mountaintop. He soon reaches his destination near the twilight of dusk, but notices something... in his months working the mines, something has changed. Though subtle, the change to the peak of the mountain, a place that had formerly been obliterated by the Armored Destroyer and Genesis in the past, was easily noticable to one who had lived in the area for years... and was enough to spark consern.
Putting his heavily laden cart away in his home, the hermit seals the entrance and goes up to inspect the area, walking against the chilling winds as the orange glow of the setting sun bathes the area in a golden light...*

Rikaru was able to rest rather peacefully for the short time it took to restore his data. He was mostly just battle warn, not anything super serious was done to them. Another blessing in disguise based on what caused the damage in the first place. The machine beeped and opened up as the process came to an end.
"Urghhh..." he grumbled as he got out of the devise. He barely had gotten to his feet though when a alear sounded from his main computer. He regonized the sound and knew what it ment. But it didn't put him at ease either way. He silently left to go investigate the cause.
He emerged from the mouth of the cave he had made to hide his lair of sorts in, and pulled his scarf up over his face as the winds blew rather strongly up here, and snow unlike sand WOULD sting to him. He saw the figure of a navi approaching and mentally ran a check on the likely hood of his needing to kill first and ask questions later.

*As the door to the peak opens, Iscon's attention is quickly taken as he stands both at ease and ready for whatever may come. It's then that he sees Rikaru enter the cold open winds of the tundra.
Not sure what to expect, and somewhat put-out at the idea of a Navi simply setting up a home-base on a mountain where the steel miner had a legal claim, Iscon simply remains silent, watching Rikaru for several moments, the dull steel blades of the pick-axe strapped to his back shining in the dull light as the snow swirls.
Finally, realizing that something has to give, Iscon at last breaks the silence that lingers in the air between himself and Rikaru*
Iscon: ...why are you here?

The silence broken by the navi before him, he stopped thinking about if he needed to resort to a violent end immediately. The navi didn't sound or seem to be threatening at the moment. Granted he didn't think this navi was up here for a stroll, the pick axe he held hinted at a differ ant reason well enough. Be he didn't think they would have workers up THIS high.
Rikaru finally replied to the navi, his voice slightly muffled from his scarf, but still plenty clear. "Mmmm...I like to be alone. I lost my previous home when the desert network was nearly deleted. This seemed like a suitable substitute." Rikaru said evenly. He brushed his tail end of his scarf out of his face as a gust of wind whipped it around. He then crossed his arms as he eyed the navi once more, and continued. "Seems like I was wrong about the alone part..."

*Iscon looks to Rikaru for several moments in silence, his eyes somewhat stern. However, he eventually breaks his silence, giving a reply to the sand Navi*
Iscon: .....my name is Iscon. I'm a miner with exclusive rights to the northern face of this mountain issued by Sharo. I have no issues with your living here so long as you're not attempting to take my claim.

Rikaru mimiced Iscon's period of silence before replying. He wasn't sure what to make of the navi before him, but figured he ment him no trouble if he didn't ask for it. Finally he nodded slowly and spoke loud enough to hear over the wind.
" I was not aware anyone had claim to this area. I not interested in mining. The claim is yours. I wish just to be left in peace." Granted, peace was not common for Rik's line of work, he did enjoy living in a place he wouldn't have to worry about things like being attacked when he was home.

*With a nod, Iscon motions down the mountain a way, the same area he had just come from*
Iscon: Then we have no issues with one another. Should you require anything of me, my home is just below here on the path. However, I spend most of my time either in the mountain or in town selling my wares.

Rikaru returned his nod, starting to turn to leave then stopping. He paused for a moment in thought and formed a small mystery data in his hand. He tossed it to Iscon as he spoke.
"I am fine at the moment. If you have specific...problems, from anyone, feel free to contact me. Having made peace with the neighbor, he finally walked back to the enterence to his home, disapearing from Iscon's sight. A moment later a sound of rock hiting rock could be heard, as Rikaru sealed the door to his abode again.
Rikaru sat at the main console in his cave home base thing, and began entering Iscon's signature as a neutral/friendly party. Thus to prevent accidents with the defenses if he came by...

*Iscon looked down at the device for a few moments before giving a shrug and hiding it away in his coat. He then turned back and returned to his cave down the mountain, walking along the snow-covered path*

A lone navi travels the mountains, having walked a long distance (most of it was walking, atleast), from an entirely different network. The long journey caused his feet to ache, but it gave him a lot of time to think about all of the things that would normally frustrate him -- so he wasn't in an agitated or negative mood like he often found himself in.
He wore a black, severely torn scarf that fluttered gracefully in the wind behind him, and two dagger-esque weapons hung by a gold chain at his side. There was no wind, other than the small breeze that carried his scarf, and no snow. The weather seemed quite "still" on the mountain as the radiant sun was setting. It bathed the sides of the mountain in an orange glow that reflected off of the snow, causing it each flake seem like a shinning nugget of gold on the ground. As a shadow passed over the ground and blocked the sun's radiance, though, those "golden flakes" were exposed as merely remnants of a blizzard that had swept through, recently.
Warrior had been here before, with Merrill, but it had been a while. Things looked different -- that was for sure. The battle between the Armored Destroyer, Genesis, and Phenoix had left its toll on the area, even to this day. Recent activity had also changed the appearance of the mountain, to a degree, so it wouldn't be easy for him to make his way around here without getting lost.
His mind continued to race with thoughts as he lingered in the area, almost as if looking for someone.
If he couldn't find that person sooner or later, he'd probably just leave to go look for 'information' from another source, and then end up returning later. No sense in wasting time with all the happenings going on in the world.
There was a tree that he and Merrill met at, the last time he was here. If he could just find out where it was, perhaps he could navigate himself through the snow-blanketed peaks more effectively.

*....and, of course, it wasn't over yet. Visitors on occasion he could stand, but a new neghibor followed directly by more visitors? This mountain was quickly becoming something of a tourist spot. There was a reason he became a hermit; to be alone. Shrugging off the momentary frustration, the hermit Navi walks down the path, laughing under his breath at the situation as he approaches Warrior from behind, giving a slightly louder laugh under his breath as he does so*
Iscon: Looking for something up here in the frozen waste-land?

Warrior sort of grinned at the voice he heard behind him -- it was satisfyingly familiar. He turned around to greet Iscon.
He had hoped he wasn't any sort of nuisance for him, though.
" You, actually."
Warrior pointed to Iscon and smirked a little bit -- atleast finding this guy was easier than expected. As he continued, Warrior crossed his arms and tilted his head down some. He maintained eye-contact as he spoke, though.
" I dunno if you remember me, but a friend of mine and I crossed paths with you about five and a half years ago, on this mountain."
He looked around as he continued, still paying attention to the damages caused here be recent events.
" ... Scenery's changed. Nice to see ya again, though."
Warrior gave his focus back to Iscon and paused for a moment. Must've been nice to have a place he could call "home" that he could return to whenever he pleased. That was a feeling Warrior had gone without fora long time.
But regardless, he broke the brief silence by continuing his conversation and getting to the point -- why he had come here.
" I remember you were a data-miner -- and I don't recall exactly what kind of data you mine, or whether or not you're caught up with everything going on in the other countries of the 'net -- but..."
Warrior paused again.
Perhaps it was best to make sure Iscon was aware of these things before asking for his help.
" ... Have you heard what's gone on in Creamland over the past few weeks?"

*Iscon gives a nod to Warrior, pulling out and leaning against his pick with a stretch*
Iscon: Yes, I remember you, Warrior.... and I am also familiar with what's been happening. It's been all over the news in the town.

Warrior grinned at Iscon's response. It was nice being remembered.
Even though Warrior's appearance had drastically changed over the past five years, Iscon even remembered his name. That was more than he could've asked for, and certainly lifted his spirits.
" Glad to hear that..."
Well that made things easier -- Warrior could skip the step of explaining it, now.
" I'm... 'investigating' the situation. Aside from what I've experienced firsthand, I'm trying to learn more about that new creature than appeared from seemingly nowhere and wiped my group out, and also whether or not there's anything that can be done to restore Creamland from the nightmare that it became after the Autumnal Assault."
Creamland was a disaster right now, to say the least. Hopefully the chaos wouldn't spread to the other countries before it could be stopped.
Warrior had noticed he was probably talking Iscon's ear off right now (... it was the most talking Warrior had done in a while, actually), but he had more to say, so hopefully Iscon could bare with him for a moment.
" I just came from Creamland -- didn't find out much there. Even the ONB's done checking that place, so I figured it was time to search for information in another country. Sharo's the closest, and you're here, so atleast I've got a better footing than I would have had in Electopia or Netopia..."
Warrior gave it a chance to soak in before specifying exactly what he was asking Iscon for.
" ..."
... He let in sink in a little more, because that was still alot of talking. And he sort of had to catch his breathe to keep going, at this point.
" Basically, I need to ask if you've come across any data -- be it in your mining, conversations or encounters with others, or sheer observance -- concerning the anomalies. Or even just anything out of the ordinary? If there's anything that matches up in Sharo with something in Creamland, maybe this will be the next place that is struck... Or perhaps, we can find out why Creamland that was the center of the activity, and not some place else..."
Warrior stopped himself before he began rambling.
He'd never thought outloud like that before... he held his tongue, and made sure to keep a tight reign on it as he finished his questions.
" ... I'm not trying to interrogate you or anything, but I have to figure this out, and.... and..."
Warrior turned his head away and began to mumble... almost as if ashamed of what was to come next.
"... I need help..."
Almost immediately, he made a fake cough and covered up that last statement with one last question as he turned back to Iscon -- arms folded, head tilted down, and eyes closed. His confident Warrior-pose covered the slight discomfort he felt from asking so many question to somebody he hadn't seen for years... much less somebody he really didn't know all too well to begin with...
"... Got anything?"

*Iscon smiles and gives a quiet laugh, speaking under his breath just as Warrior had*
Iscon: It's only the strong that can admit they need more than what is in themselves. No man is an island, and those who believe that they need no help only fool themselves.
*Iscon then continues without missing a beat*
Iscon: I did encounter something out of the ordinary within the mountain. It was a glowing green diamond-shaped data of some form that was encased in some form of metal container. A few random Navis came looking for it and apparently took it and the container with them when they left
